Sold by his family into the dangerous world of werewolf hunting, plucky Adrian has only his quick wits to rely on to keep him safe. When an assignment goes wrong and he's cornered by monstrous beasts, they quickly turn their attention to having fun with the young man-- and when a wolf-shifter pack has their sights on you, quick wits aren't going to help you...
There's a new wolf hunter in town, and werewolf alpha male Mars wants to know his plans. When the hunter's young apprentice falls into his hands, he has an opportunity to get the information out of the boy. One way or another, Mars has a use for Adrian...
This 7,500 word dark erotic story contains multiple werewolf males having their way with an inexperienced young man, a very dominant alpha, knotting, and more! For mature readers only.
Note: this story deals with dark themes. This is not a romance.
Aptly warned this is NOT a romance. Dark, yes. Erotic, eh... This is flat out rape.. By the end however he's growing to like his position and enjoy himself, seeing as he's transformed. I'm not even sure I could necessarily say it was written badly (I've seen SOOOO much worse) but I'm not comfortable with the actions in any way.. this makes it difficult to rate this..
Out exploring in the forest, Adrian is caught by five wolves: Leto, Tyr, Markellos, Kael…and Mars, who is the pack alpha.
Turns out, these particular wolves have been terrorizing Adrian’s village.
Undercooked “plot” setup. No explanation on what all the (six times mentioned) shame is in being with men.
Choreography in group action is never easy to write, but she loses track of characters and makes multiple mistakes in this story. Overall grievous lack of continuity.
Throughout most of the story, Adrian is crying out in abject misery.
Extremely rough and painful. Smacking, shoving, biting, punching, slapping…
Only saliva.
“Wife” talk; lots of bleeding during the rapes.
Questions to ponder: Why rape? Why not…idk…seduction? Why choose an unwilling straight man as your narrative MC? Fresh out of gay men in your imagined world? It just ups the ick factor even further, which is quite an achievement.
“A slutty little omega bitch, ready for mounting whenever we want you, however we want you, as much as we want you. Do you like the sound of that?”
The blurb is the entire premise of this short story, there's nothing more to it. What Amazon doesn't provide a warning for (but Goodreads does) is that this is NOT A ROMANCE, it's non-con. Now, I knew what I was getting into from the author's other works available but that's quite a thing to omit, and would be a nasty and unexpected surprise for some readers. There are some grammar issues throughout, and at times characters have moved and seemed to have been lost track of, but it's not illegible. If dark (very) monster action is what you're here for then this will likely fit the bill. I don't think this author's for me though.
I loved this story. A young inexperienced hunter is chased down and claimed by a small pack of violent wolves but kept alive by their alpha only to then be turned so he can be subjected to a new level of depravity. While I wish there was more book to this story and hopefully there’s more to follow I give it five stars.
The writing is good, so I won't give up on the author (who I'd never read before) but this one didn't quite work for me. I'm not rating it because I knew going in what it was about.
The story ended at 83% on my Kindle and went to excerpts of other stories. I'm not a fan of paying for books that end pretty much without warning quite a bit before I get to 100%.
