(3.5 stars) I'm not sure how to feel about this book. It surprised me with the direction it went in and I most certainly did not expect it to contain a small-time sex trade or the fact that politics had a lot to do with it. I liked the main character much more in the last half of the book. The first half had me crying angry tears. I'm just saying that if anyone I loved ended up kidnapped and sold, you bet your ass I would be following them to their location and taking my loved one back. I'm not gonna wait around and get back to regular life. Hell no. You. Do. Not. Mess. With. Me.
