First of all this is the best part of the duet!! And if you haven’t read it you should because (there’s no cliffhanger!!! IYKYK lol). If you loved Rook before, you’re gonna love him even more!! But let’s be honest it’s the Jelly 👀👀!! I just loved it so much there’s not even enough things I can say without telling you something. So I’m leaving it at that!

If you've ever craved a story that makes you feel every emotion humanly (and inhumanly) possible—rage, lust, heartbreak, betrayal, resurrection, and that sweet, sweet vengeance—then look no further. Redemption Awakening, the blazing conclusion to Sadie Winchester’s duet, isn’t just a book. It’s a spiritual experience wrapped in trauma, lust, celestial warfare, and rubber ducks. But first things first: if you haven’t read Sleeping Redemption, stop now and go back. This is not a standalone. This is a full-blown descent into emotional madness and you’ll love every damn second of it. After that soul-shattering cliffhanger, Kinley’s return is nothing short of divine retribution. She’s no longer the girl looking to survive, she’s the woman destined to burn down Heaven, Hell, and every monster in between. Just a woman on a warpath, with the powers of the divine (and infernal) burning in her blood. Watching her piece herself back together, claim her power, and own her role as the one who decides the fate of the world? Chef’s kiss. Her redemption arc is satisfying, savage, and sexy. And her love for her men? Soul-deep. Atlas, Sylas, and Rook have their own pain, their own trauma, and their own way of loving Kinley, and none of them are okay when we reunite with them. Atlas, our steady guardian, is torn but hopeful. The moment he finds that keychain and dares to believe she’s coming back? Gut-wrenching. Sylas, the storm, is raw and spiraling. Watching him unravel nearly broke me. His pain is personal and deep… and then he goes full alpha with Rook in a scene that is as shocking as it is scorching. Yeah. That happened. And we cheered. And then there’s Rook. ROOK. The unhinged, chaotic, muffin-wielding disaster gremlin with a heart of gold and a flair for violence. He’s funny, tragic, dirty, deranged, and absolutely essential to this series. His love hits different. His breakdowns hurt. If you don’t finish this book craving your own Rook… you didn’t read it right. Also, someone please get this man a sitcom. Or a squirrel. Or both. And yes, Sadie does not hold back on the spice. If book one turned the heat up to simmer, Redemption Awakening cranks the temperature to “holy hell.” We’re talking MF, MM, MMMF, tension you could slice with Lucifer’s blade. Every kiss, every moan, every sinful scene is laced with emotion, grief, desperation, and need. These characters ache for each other, and we ache with them. Sadie doesn’t shy away from giving us exactly what we want—and sometimes what we didn’t even know we needed (Sy dominating Rook? Oh yes, please and thank you). But it’s not just the emotional torment and sinfully written steam that hit—Sadie gives us comedy gold. Sandwiches. Muffins with mystery ingredients. Theater spoilers. Rubber ducky plugs. There are moments so absurd and hilarious, you’ll forget for a second that the fate of the world is hanging in the balance. And that’s the brilliance—Sadie Winchester knows how to balance humor and horror like a literary demon-sorceress. And that epilogue? Don’t even get me started. Sadie—what kind of emotional warfare was that? It was beautiful, painful, full-circle, and yet… I want more. I need more of Maralyn. I need more Rook as a dad. I fear for the world, and I desperately want to be part of it. Yes, I cried. Yes, I laughed. Yes, I was ready to throw hands at the author herself. But the ending? Flawless. If you’re looking for something that defies traditional tropes, burns conventional romance to the ground, and rebuilds it with divine wrath, found-family tenderness, trauma-bonded chaos, and scorching spice—Redemption Awakening is it. This is not just a conclusion—it’s a declaration. Of love. Of power. Of rage and rebirth. Sadie Winchester will have you by the throat and in your feelings, and you’ll thank her for every second of it. Now Sadie, about that next book? Get your gloves, woman—we have demands.

Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

OMG!! 3 months of waiting for this book was so worth the wait! This book brought me to tears right out the gate. To understand the beginning of this book you need to read “Sleeping Redemption” first. I felt so bad for all our MMC (Atlas, Rook, and Sy) but most of all I really felt for Sy at the beginning. What happened completely tore this man apart. Now as for our FMC Kinley my heart simply soared to see her come back to life not only for our men but for her to get her revenge and her redemption. In a tale of working together to restore the balance between heaven and hell from a person who wants it all to himself (Nico) to see her deliver the 7 sins to a creature that the devil himself could not kill was nothing short of beautiful end. But that was not the end for our girl or our men! And I’m not about to spoil the ending but I will say I was in complete shock, in awe, and completely in tears for our group! But not only was it about Kinley getting redemption it was also about Atlas getting his redemption as well. Our lovely author suggests that there might be a book 3 and if so I absolutely can’t wait. I absolutely want to see more of these 5. This book was beautifully written and very detailed to a “T”. It’s like you were there. Like everything around me shifted and I was there in this beautiful world fighting for both heaven and hell right next to them all. I really hope there is more to there storyline because I’m not ready to say goodbye to this story!

This duet seriously has my entire heart it its clutches. I have loved every single second of both books from the very first page. The characters are all so unique and they are constantly drawing you in. But Rook, he's the one for me. Everything about him is incredible. He's made me laugh, cry, want to throw things, want to throw up, and literally everything else. But coming full circle, he's everything and more!

This duet will take you on the wildest adventure you will ever be on, but it is worth every dang second of it. When I tell you you'll feel all the dang things, please don't take this with a grain of salt because you WILL!

The epilogue...Sadie...miss ma'am...why on God's green earth do you do this? 🙄 I guess it doesn't matter. You will always live up to the name huh? And then when I asked you questions, you shoot me down?! Excuse me...woman! Better get your gloves ready because we be fightin'!

Anywayyyyy....the epilogue without my dramatics 🙄 was absolutely beautiful and I wanted to just be in that moment with them so bad. I loved every single word and every single thing that went down. Ugh my hearttttttttt!!!

Now, Sadie....get working on my demands...

This duet has my entire heart in a chokehold, and I’m not even mad about it. From the very first page of Sleeping Redemption to the final word of Redemption’s Awakening, I have been absolutely consumed. Every single character is so unique, and each one pulls you in.. but Rook? Oh, he’s the one for me. He’s made me laugh, cry, rage, want to throw things, and even made my stomach twist… but in the end, he’s everything and more.

This MMFM pairing is pure magic together, the chemistry and connection between them unmatched. But this story isn’t just about romance, it’s an emotional rollercoaster filled with vengeance, redemption, celestial warfare, and moments that hit you so hard you have to stop and breathe. You will feel everything.

To truly understand Redemption’s Awakening, you have to read Sleeping Redemption first. Book two picks up right after that soul-shattering cliffhanger, and wow… did it wreck me. I felt so deeply for Atlas, Rook, and Sy... especially Sy, whose pain in the beginning absolutely gutted me. And Kinley? Watching her rise again, not just for her men but for herself, to claim her revenge and redemption, was nothing short of breathtaking.

The world-building is flawless.... every battle, every intimate moment, every victory feels like you’re right there fighting for heaven and hell beside them. And that epilogue… Sadie, I don’t know whether to thank you or fight you. It was beautiful, emotional, and everything I didn’t know I needed, yet still left me desperate for more.

If there’s a book three in this world, I’ll be first in line, gloves on, ready for whatever emotional chaos Sadie throws at me next. Until then, I’m just going to sit here in awe of this duet and the way it completely wrecked and rebuilt my heart.

This was a great wrap up to the duology. I was sad at first when all three men distanced themselves from each other but I get it. I was happy to know that Atlas held out hope she was coming back and she returned to him first especially after finding the keychain. I was surprised that Sy took it the hardest when he should’ve known that she would come back.

The reunion sex between Sy and Kin though! That is one thing that Sadie does not lack on is spice! I wish we had more scene of all three of them together but I am also very okay with what we got.

Sy caving to Rook and dominating him?! HOT!! I didn’t see it coming and I’m glad it did. Although, my curiosity is wondering if Atlas doesn’t want to join in on that front or what the case is?

Other than the spice, I do think that Kins redemption was delicious and the way she was able to tap into the others powers and dominate the room with it. I was slightly nervous when her first attempt at Nico didn’t go so well. I thought Lucifer had betrayed them. I’m glad he didn’t!

Badger and Onyx! So cute! The way Badger almost gave up the future with Kin and Rooks child was priceless. I am surprised that there wasn’t mention of Kin having a pet squirrel though.

Rook giving Onyx his army gear?! So cute and appropriate. Very Rook but also seemed very Badger. I think Rook and Badger would be good friends and I hope later down the line in another series we get to see more of them together.

I love that Atlas’s new assignment is for Maralyn warmed my heart! I was nervous that he was getting an assignment away from Kin and the guys and that they would fall apart. I was surprised that Maralyn was only Rooks offspring and not a mix of the three. That really would’ve been a twist!

I can’t wait to see what comes next!

The spoiler in the theater!!

This book healed my heart in ways I have been waiting for since Sadie's cliffy at the end of book one! I dived right in and was hooked from the first page, especially with the authors amazing world creating in this series! The book focuses on the pairing of MMFM and it is full of spice(and a b@d@ss female main character)! I thought I loved the back and forth banter between the characters in book one...I love it SO much more in this one because it's even better(which I didn't think was possible to begin with at all). I truly love all of the spice and plot thrown into this book, I couldn't stop reading! I love the angels/demons characters and world..especially in terms of all of the love, vengeance, and redemption! Can I just say the ending (which does include a HEA) was SO worth the heartbreak after book one. I feel Nicodemus got what he deserved finally, which is about all i can say on him without ruining the series. Rook is my absolute character from the book with all his special sandwiches(IYKYK..lol).

Favorite quotes I highlighted from my kindle scribe:

"Ours. Ours to give fight to. Ours to shield. Ours to make as immovable as the tallest mountain."

"I knew I'd see you again. Fate can be cruel, but my faith has been relentless."

Gahhh...this book was SO good..no i take it back, this SERIES was so good..I'm just not ready to let the characters go yet!🫣♥️

This is part two of the duet and it brings everything together. It is dirtier, spicier, funnier and all around perfection. We even get some MM action in this one.

I loved Rook from the begining but he gets so much better in this story.

I definitely felt bad for all the guys after what happened but Sy definitely was not doing okay and I was scared for him for a while at the begining. They all struggled but none as much as Sy because he was directly involved.

Nico was still a threat and it is going to take a lot of teamwork to take him down. Good thing our girl Kin came back leveled up.

I want to tell you about all the feels and emotions and struggles but that would spoil the experience. So go read it because this book was worth the wait and is a perfect ending.

Redemption Awakening:

☠️demon & Angels
⚡️Pierced DEMON peen
☠️keep your eyes open and on me
⚡️MMFM

To understand the beginning of this book you need to read “Sleeping Redemption” first.
Kinley, Rook, Sylas, and Atlas are just amazing characters. They all have their own things and moments that are quite unique but questionable ….their love for each other is so special. I loved that we instantly got Kinley back and she didn’t struggle with anything other than finding her missing pieces. This book could’ve gone in so many directions but I felt like it went in the best direction. Now as for our FMC Kinley my heart simply soared to see her come back to life not only for our men but for her to get her revenge and her redemption.
In a tale of working together to restore the balance between heaven and hell from a person who wants it all to himself (Nico)… he wants to see her deliver the 7 sins to a creature that the devil himself could not kill..
I absolutely LOVE Rook & all his craziness. I’ll definitely miss him. He made the book. I didn’t wanna leave Rook behind lmao yep he’s definitely book-boyfriend material 🖤🖤

Hell on Hearth.

This is the second book in the duet, picking up right where the first one left off.
We’re left with a strong sense of injustice and suffering, wondering, “What now?”.

But not everything is lost. Only a battle was lost (again), not the war.
They are resilient, and with everything on the line, they refuse to give up. It’s beautiful how they complement each other.

With so many surprises, steamy scenes, and hilarious moments, there’s never a dull page—especially with someone as amazing as Rook around.
The plot is captivating and filled with unusual, unexpected twists. It's truly a page-turner!

A dark PNR RH with MM content (finally! I’ve been waiting for this to happen!).

It ends with a HEA and a lingering promise: “You’ll hear about us again, but we’re good.”
And that’s wonderful. I’m not ready to say goodbye to this world.

The moment we’ve all been waiting for since that cliffy left us reeling!!! This did NOT leave anything to chance it was everything you’d expect it to be after book 1!! I loved the banter between the characters and Rook and his damn sandwiches had me laughing constantly!! Absolutely recommend but of course you NEED to read book 1 for this one to make sense! If you thought the banter was great in the last one…. Pfft it was nothing compared to this one and you will LOVE it!! The build up was worth the wait for a certain 2 characters I won’t name for spoiler reasons but IYKYK 😉 highly recommend this duet if you’re looking for something different. Plus who doesn’t love Angles & Demons….give it a go. You won’t be disappointed

This is exactly what I needed to follow up after the last book! Everything was beyond perfect to me and I had such a fun time reading. Literally couldn’t put it down. Kinley, Rook, Sylas, and Atlas are just amazing characters. They all have their own things and moments that are quite unique and questionable. But their love for each other is so special. I loved that we instantly got Kinley back and she didn’t struggle with anything other than finding her missing pieces. This book could’ve gone in so many directions but I felt like it went in the best direction. The little details to all the big ones were set up perfectly to fall in line and create this beautiful story. I adore the characters and the story way more than I thought I would. Such an amazing book to end the duet.

Sadie Winchester has done it again with Redemption's Awakening, leaving me in a whirlwind of emotions.
I laughed...I cried...I swooned...I cried some more. I loved each and every moment.

Let's face it, the cliffhanger we were left with in book one was a heckuva doozie. I felt like I had been left broken in the worst way, but I knew Sadie had something up her sleeve for this book.

Each character is delicious in their own way, Rook and Kinley definitely topping the charts for me.
The attention to detail didn't leave me with questions, either.

And that ending?! Not what I was expecting, in the best way possible.

Character banter? Chef's kiss.
The Spice? Spicy 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

I can't wait to see what Sadie is working on next.

I absolutely love this duet. This book was stronger. It gave me everything I needed and didn't know I wanted from this group. This duet is amazing. Sadie won me over even more, which I did not know was possible, but she did it. The conclusion of this duet ends on a very high note!

The way that all the guy's, Rook, Sylas, Atlas loved Kinley with every fiber of their souls just got me. I felt it deep in my soul. If any one of these people were to die, I truly believe that the rest would die of broken hearts.

If you asked me who my favorite of the guys is, I would tell you ALL! You can't and I won't pick a favorite.

I never wanted this duet to end. Redemption’s Awakening was nothing short of amazing. Getting to follow along with the 3 guys (Rook and Sy being my favorite) and Our Angel Kinley after the horrors of book 1 was a nice breath of fresh air. Reading able how they were all unlikely to come together on their own but facing a common enemy brought them to love each other in their own ways. The spiciness to this book was mouth watering from the start 🥵🥵. I will be adding this duet to my collection of books I’ll be rereading for years to come. I hope there is a continuation of these characters due to that ending. READ THIS NOW!

Second.... 5.... 5 characters you will fall in love with.

Third, Sadie, ugh! This was wonderful! I felt like this was perfect 🩷

Rook.... ooohhhh, Rook.... yeeessss lol

There were moments in the book where I felt like crying my eyes out, moments where I smiled, giggled, just all kinds of emotions.

I have a tendency to give things away, so to prevent myself from doing that, I will say this took my heart completely.

Sadie's way with words, descriptions, plot, characters, chef's kiss!

That epilogue?!?! 🥹🩷

Please read the first book and then this, and you will see for yourself how Sadie Winchester is phenomenal and how this duology is one for the trophy bookshelf!

Sadie has done it again with the sequel to Sleeping Redemption! Rook's witty remarks had me laughing out loud and I enjoyed reading all of the recipes he was cooking up for the crew. It would be rather entertaining to have like a novella of Rook and his sister, Zorah prior to Kinley.

At the beginning of the book, I just wanted to jump into the book and hug the MMC (Rook, Sylas, and Atlas). The FMC, Kinley comes back to life but is different from how she left it. The four of them are stronger together than apart. Nico is still causing havoc and the crew needs to stop him. The ending left me in tears but happy ones.

When Sadie writes a book, I READ the book! Especially after her previous book left me with a cliffhanger and a broken heart! Redemption’s Awakening is the second book in a duet – do NOT read this if you haven’t read Sleeping Redemption, because really, sharing is caring and yes, you also need to experience the Queen of Cliffhanger’s cliffhanger.

Tropes: Dark romance, why choose, RH, angels and devils, second chance love. Because who else can write a book with a Fallen Angel, a Devil, a Guardian Angel and an Arch Angel and make it so HOT! And yes, there is a surprise in there – well many. There is revenge, there is love, and there is redemption! And a side of jelly IYKYK!

Okay so Sadie I forgive you for the absolute cliff hanger you left me with after Sleeping Redemption.

This was absolutely worth the wait. Rook is my man, I love everything about this character. I’m a bit feral for him to be honest.

I really appreciate how this story comes together and how everything works out. It’s so hard not to say more but spoilers…. Bites tongue.

I like how Sadie brings in new and old characters, their dynamics, weaving in the paranormal and spice.

If you like paranormal romances with spice and why choose this is for you.

Such a great book 2 - Sadie picks up exactly where she left off.
Atlas, Rook & Sy were left with broken hearts.
But for Kinley, what happens when death can't fix all your problems?
Heaven and Hell are at war; what's new? I have to trust people that I would have never thought I would be allies with?
Bottom line - Redemption will always come at a cost.
What would you pay, and what will I have to pay?
I received an advance review copy at no cost and am leaving this review voluntarily.

Book one shattered me. Book two? Slowly, achingly, beautifully stitched me back together.

This conclusion was everything I needed and didn’t expect. Gripping, emotional, and brutal in the best way. Watching these characters fight through hell (literally and emotionally) was an unforgettable ride. Forever team Rook lol

If you love found family, emotional devastation, and the slow, painful path toward redemption, you need this series. Just be prepared to hurt before you heal. Highly recommend.

This was such an amazing end to this duet, I couldn't ask for anything better. I love that we got Kinley back right away and was able to get to the good stuff! All four of the characters are completely unhinged and each have their own great personalities. But Rook is still my absolute favorite; he is egotistical, funny, protective, loving, and also a trickster demon. I was happy Kinley was able to redeem herself and got what she wanted. I really loved the ending! I'm excited for more of Sadie's work.

This book had me from start to finish!!! After Sleeping Redemption utterly destroyed me, this book picked up the pieces and put me back together again by the end! Kinley, Atlas, Rook, and Sy return, turn up the heat and take your emotions to the next level in this one. Rook’s humor and heart steal the show making him my favorite by the end of this one. This duet has opened up a whole new genre I never knew I needed in my life but so glad I found it! Sadie and her world building has done it again and I loved every minute of it! A must-read for fans of angels, demons, and bada$$ FMC!

They were all broken; I am so glad they were able to piece their hearts back together. They 1000% kick ass and take names in this book. I really hope this isnt the end for them... cause I need more! This is the best series ever!! I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book after the cliff hanger ending of the previous book. An emotional angsty story, with relatable characters. My emptions were all over reading this story. Characters relationship wasn't without bumps in the road. To see them finally work it out in the end made me so happy. This was definitely steamy. It held my attention from the first page. Totally recommend.
