Set in modern day Hollywood. Celine has been crushing on her idol, Hollywood megastar Dare Montgomery (the most famous actor in the world) since grade school. She decides to make her dream come true and embarks on a mission: Become Mrs. Montgomery. Now, the road isn't exactly clear of tough competition as it is filled with starlets, supermodels, A-list actresses, socialites, name the breed, Dare has 'em all tucked nicely in his high-traffic bed. BUT, she has a secret weapon none of these women posses. Dare will be HERS. Carve that in stone!

Burned out, bored and badass, Dare Montgomery meets his self-proclaimed No. 1 fan in the world. One look at this maddening smartass with a face and body that could launch a thousand dicks and he wants to play with her so badly. She's also dying to but preferably with a ring on her finger.

A jaded player. An idealistic virgin heiress. A clash of the Titans waiting to happen.

Dare and Celine meet in MEGASTAR (Stars Trilogy Book 1) and sparks immediately fly. She becomes his temporary secretary. Now Celine has an ulterior motive in working for this MEGASTAR: Marry him!. But it's easier said than done because Dare is a textbook case of narcissistic chauvinism. They are on opposing sides of the fence in lifestyle and perspectives but the sizzling attraction between them cannot be denied. Pretty soon, it's a blazing wildfire and they both give in to the demands of their passion.

In STARGAZER (Stars Trilogy Book 2), the fire of their passion rages on. They indulge themselves and feed on their hunger for each other. Problem arises when idealistic Celine starts talking about soulmates and happy endings. Dare freaks out. He is a master of the mating game but the soul business? No thanks! But Dare has become addicted to Celine's presence in his life and he has to choose: keep his free-wheeling lifestyle or let her go because she is cramping his style with her fairy tale notions of happily ever after.

Eve Montelibano is an Interior Designer and a hopeless romantic. That said, she couldn't be blamed for the amount of cheese and cream you'll find in her books. She loves to write about jaded, super alpha heroes and spunky, sassy heroines.and enjoys putting them in a lot of sticky, steamy, sweaty situations. Definitely not for the fainthearted.

Her favorite authors are Jackie Collins (modern fiction) and Robert Greene (Philosophy). Her major influences in romance writing are Brenda Joyce, Linda Howard, Sandra Brown, Judith McNaught, Susan Johnson, Penelope Williamson, to name a few.

That plane crash scene! I could feel the look in their eyes. I could feel how pure celine's love for dare is. And damn! I could sense how it made its way to dare's stoned heart. This part of the story is crazy good! It got me teary eyed with the overwhelming emotions that carved with every word. You're really amazing Eve montelibano. Your writings always strike right through my heart . They always find their way to my soul. And Gawd! I am not even through reading the whole book 2.

So yea, this is the continuation of Miss Eve Montelibano’s Megastar. The first part left us hanging, right? The second installment will give you the oozing feeling of delight, ovary explosion, and pleasure. I cannot give you any spoilers so you better read it. At first, I thought 10 chapters won’t be that lengthy but upon checking the pages; it was almost as long as the first one so yea, I was pacified. But I want moooooore. This book was full of intimacy, understanding and love. Miss Eve avoided the predictable pitfalls but brought a delectably sexy novella with a smart and funny woman and an oh-so-hot hero.

As I’ve told you guys before the little things that were written earlier, the small, tiniest details that we don’t pay attention to? Well guess what, they were useful. I love the characters especially Cruz. His lines were short but FTW!

“You should do something about your fucking itch, man. Use your fucking black book full of kitties you haven’t scratched for almost a month now.”
-Cruz, Stargazer

Ah, miss you, man! You should be in the lime light too!

Over all, Celine and Dare won my heart. Celine was very sophisticated, well-read, stunning, rich, and well-mannered. And Dare, he has big dreams, big house and VERY big bank account. You have no idea what more big stuff he has, I do. LOL He was cocky alright. But if he wishes to open his heart for someone, that someone will stay there for a long long time. Eeek. That’s all for now.

I received my copy of the trilogy as a gift from a very dear friend and one of my best book buddies. You know who you are. And thank you!!! :)

This novel definitely deserves more than 5 stars!

The story was kind of slow at first, not dragging, just slow. And this may be attributed personally to me because I'm an impatient reader. I couldn't wait for Dare and Celine to meet already.

The anticipation was killing me but I knew I had to be patient. I tell you, DON'T SKIP ANYTHING! Every detail counts.

Celine...

"She was a breath of fresh air."

Classy and elegant but can definitely hold her own when the moment requires it. Innocent but not ignorant nor naive. And I so admire her. I could never imagine doing what she had the guts to do. She was brave but not reckless. All for the name of "daring" love.

And Dare.. Oh gawd. What can I say about him?

"...I am your ultimate dream guy. You have loved me for like two decades. You will love me forever."

Yep. He was all that. And more. I had to admit, I was kind of pissed at him at first. He was just so good at being chauvinist and ruthless I couldn't help but love him.

"You're hard to the core, Dare. You'll break my heart. I've seen how you did it first hand."

There's a justifiable reason behind all his facade. And really, when I discovered the reason, who can blame the guy?

He was hard to the core, but with the right woman. He's got all that soft heart, willing to protect and love.

"He was just too good to be true."

Theirs was a roller coaster ride. I found my self dizzy with all the oozing hotness and passion. But don't be deceived, this story is not just about romance and all that jazz. There's a whole bunch of wisdom to be reap.

I am now officially a "Darcee" fan! I wish there was more to read. I just couldn't get enough.

"Life was a cycle. Things would always end. But even if life ended, he knew, his love for Celine will live on. Their love will transcend time."

Indeed, it will.

Some of my fave quote from this book:

"...in order to make a lasting good impression on a man, she should work on her personality more than her physical appearance."

"Sometimes you need to read slower and understand the words for their deeper meanings before you proceed to the next page. Maybe you're missing some important details in your eagerness to reach the happy ending."

"Life is cruel at times, yes, but the bottom line is, we decide what will become of us amid all these storms."

Was kindly gifted this book by the author in exchange for an honest review.

I enjoyed this book more than the 1st. Again I found it slow to start but maybe thats just me and no reflection on the author. Stargazer picked up where Megastar left off and once it picked up the pace I got really into it. It sent me through a mixed bag of emotions and maybe a tear or 2 escaped at a couple of points during the book. The 2 main chatacyers are the total opposites but they seem to really work together. Looking forward to the final installment in the star gazer trilogy :)

Stargazer book two in the stars trilogy by eve montelibano

So I've just finished book two.
I'm grinning from ear to ear. Celine got her man :) and well her man finally realised what it is to feel. Really feel. This is special.
Dare started of the series as a pompous full of himself lovable tw*#waffle.
And we'll now we're seeing him in a whole other light.
There are still many questions for me left unanswered and I'm hoping to receive the answers I seek in book three.
This being said through this book you really get a deeper look and in turn understanding of why dare is the way he is.

I found this book flowed much more than book one and well it didn't take me long to read despite a busy schedule today.
There are some aspects of the writing I find slightly off putting but I'll bring these to the authors attention once I've finished the series and have a complete overview.
I'm now heading off to dive in to my complementary copy of book three.

Eeeeeek. I hope I get the answers I seek as this will be the final instalment xx

This trilogy is awesome. I'll definitely shit tons of bricks if I don't see an ever after at the end of the last one.
