Not everything in Heaven is as holy as it seems...

In Crimson Ties, the second installment of the Crimson Nights Saga, Laziel is nowhere to be found, and with the ferocity of Malachi Denali's vampiric temperament growing out of control, Rome's Vatican enclave and those that dwell there risk everything to keep their King’s throne out of Darklon De Sangue’s treacherous hands.

As Darklon's mental state deteriorates, his treasonous plans to overthrow Malachi know no bounds. With Arial dancing upon a deadly double-edged sword and working to gain Darklon's trust, this continuing saga keeps everyone on tenterhooks as new treaties are strengthened and friendships are forged by oaths and blood.

Will Laziel return in time to save Malachi from those that threaten the male he loves, or will the fury of Malachi's disdain for emotion see Laziel ascend if he refuses to accept the hand that destiny has dealt him and the gift of his angel's love?

With emotions running high, and Malachi's past turning up to haunt them both in the form of the mysterious Vischeral Bourne, the twists and turns may prove too much for Laziel and his vampire. While Malachi and Laziel struggle with fate, an alliance with the wolves and the secrets behind the Nephilim and their sadistic Queen threaten to rock the very foundations of the supernatural world.

Who knows what ties will bind and which will fade away.

With a high element of supernatural romance and erotic sexcapades between male lovers, Crimson Ties may not be to some people’s taste, but for those brave enough to step into the wicked world of Laz and Lachi, we hope that you will read and thoroughly enjoy…

Holy f**king Batman........

I've just read a 800 page book, but I need more!!!!!

I loved book 1 in this series but Crimson Ties won't let you go until you finish it, i even dreamed about the characthers last night.

This book is a love fest with action, gore and suspense mixed in, it shows people growing in depth learning to accept what they really want.

Now of course I love Malachi and Laziel, but what they went through in this book was heartbreaking, tears were spilled here.

So many new story lines bought in and I loved them all. Who couldn't love Romy & Toby, they were scorching hot together. Viscerhal and Copi they were another pair that I couldn't get enough of and want more. I was hoping for more on Ms Stoner story line that was hinted at, maybe in next book.

My emotions have been pulled in a 101 directions by this book, I loved it all.

This series would suit someone who's into man on man love! maybe too much for a first time mm read! As it's super sexy, full of love and passion.

I suggest you read Crimson reign first as you will have a better understanding and stronger feeling for the characthers. I mentioned this book is 800 pages long, don't let this put you off, I devoured this book and have been left needing more.

5 seriously hot MM vampy and racey

** I was gifted a copy of this book for an honest review **

BRAVO 5+STARS!!!

Bravo to the talent of duo authors J.T. Cheyanne and V.L. Moon. The seamless writing skill these two share is astounding. This is the second book in The Crimson Nights Saga. This book took off right where book #1 ended. It grabs you by the throat and doesn't let go until the very last page! In between you are caught up in all the intense drama of three magnificent stories being told at the same time. This is a paranormal readers dream come true. If you usually aren't a reader of the paranormal you will be by the time you are finished with this series. Trust me I had never heard of half of this stuff and now I love it all....We get to learn the fate of Malachi, Laziel and Lorenza or at least we thought we did until the end shook things up again.

Did Lachi really get Laz back?? Thought you knew what happened to Tobias and Roman, think again. Vischeral Bourne our brooding vamp and his human Copi Dane, just when you think you know, that batsh*t crazy Darklon shows up. He has always got something rotten up his sleeve. We learn about the Queen who is the enemy who seems to be everyone's enemy like Lachi is going to let her rule the world....Lachi is making alliances with his sworn enemies to try to bring peace but we won't know the out come of any of that until book #3....ACK!!!! Authors and their cliffhangers...gotta love them though.

We still don't know the story behind Arial, Lance, Saul, Celix, Clariel and Ms. Stroner, I'm still not sure if she can be trusted. But like all others who have read this story I will wait impatiently for the next installment. So with a Holy Crock Pot, Batman!!! This magnificent installment came to an end. This story had so many OMFREAKING-G moments you would not believe. Just when you thought it couldn't get any better you turn the page and it did. This is the kind of book once you pick it up you just cannot put it down. Again, my hats off to the authors, you would never know it was penned by two different people. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AS I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SAGA!!!

Review:

Crimson Ties is the second book in the Crimson Nights Saga. The story of Malachi Denali, the vampire king, and his Angel Laziel continues on from Crimson Reign. Both books in the series are an amazing story that keep you hooked and on the edge of your seat. Book One sets up the world of the vampire king while meeting those around him in this world. Crimson Ties gives us much more detail as well as more background and a complex plot to bring down Malachi.. AKA Lachi. The development of each character always brings us back to the two main characters in the book.

There’s so much that I could get into with this full length novel. It had lots of adventure, fights, tension, love and hot hot sex scenes. What more could you want? Well, there’s always the HEA which unfortunately, I will warn you doesn’t happen in this book. Some parts of this book are heart wrenching in the intensity and others had left me down right pissed off at the evilness that could cause such pain. So many emotions ranging from Love to hate and sadness to joy raced through me while reading this book.

My question is if you haven’t read Crimson ties… WHY?!?! Even more so if you haven’t read both books in the series.. I suggest you get to moving, pick these up and don’t forget the tissues because you’re going to need them.. Might want to invest in a few boxes. Love Love LOVE the books and these two authors.

Crimson Ties by VL Moon and JT Cheyanne is a complete and very emotional reading journey. The book will hook you up from the first pages and then keep you tied down to your ereader or paperback till you reach the words “The End.”

It’s no secret I loved Crimson Reign. The vampire Malachi (Lachi) and his angel Laziel managed to mesmerize me from the first book. The world of vampire conclaves, with the Italian one that Lachi rules placed right under the Vatican, is truly fascinating. A world where war is waged against the Nephilim, the offspring of fallen angels and their human mates. A world where danger lurks everywhere, and comes from outside and from within.

Book two however is in its very own league. It is so much better than book one and a lot of other stories I’ve read! Not only is there a lot of action to keep you hooked, but the love relationships that unfold get a lot of defining touches, nuances that make them so much more real. Although Lachi and Laz spend a lot of time apart, with the seraphim angel’s female counterpart, Loz, being in control, their love is so vivid, so outright jumping out of the pages of the book, it can’t really be contained. The relationship between supporting characters, Roman and Tobias, Copi and Vishous, as well as budding love stories left for other installments in the series, are just as beautifully crafted. You can’t help but love everyone.

Crimson Ties starts right where Crimson Reign left us, and although some of the past events are mentioned and explained briefly, I would strongly recommend not to read this book before the first installment. A lot of things won’t make sense and it’s a true same not to discover Laz and Lachi’s story properly.

What made this book so much better was the added gray areas. Nothing, in any world, is black and white. The reasons behind the Nephilim war, the fact that not every member of a species or society is good or bad just because of what they are, the feeling you get that most things are not what they appear to be, everything gives the Crimson Nights Saga all those beautifully intricate layers and depths that make it an amazing read.

I strongly recommend you go buy your copy now and get to reading!

Crimson Ties is as you know (at least I hope you do) The second book in the Crimson Nights Saga. It continues on from where Crimson Reign (Book 1) ended so if you haven't read that book you, then what are you waiting for. You need to read it and then you NEED to read this book.

Crimson Reign had me yelling at nothing and pulling my hair out (litterally.). Crimson Ties is more of the same if not more and then add a few ugly cries. If you cry ugly (stuffed up nose, red faced, puffy eyed) while reading a book it's a damn good book in my opinion at least.

Crimson Ties has lots and I mean lots going on. Side characters that add to the eclectic mix. I have my favs and I'm sure you will do. I will warn you that this book again does not have a HEA and I was actually screaming the word Noooooo when I got to the end.. I didn't want it to end, I want no not want, NEED more!

It makes you sit there and go.... Just what would you do for love? Just like the book description it seems fitting.. Not everything in Heaven is as holy as it seems...

What can be said of this latest from J.T. Cheyenne and V. L. Moon? One word, Awesome! The first book rocked, but this one brought some serious game!

Fantastic and boldly written, the words take you straight into the action and leave you speechless, gasping and on the edge of your seat as you ravenously eat up each word! So many emotions, you hate that the two main characters are seperated, but you WANT to continue reading to see all that happens in between, all that leads to them being reunited!

The characters truly live, but are brought to life in such a way, one can actually visualise them, trapping the reader in a world they wish not to escape, EVER!

Do you want to see direct into their world? Do you want to scream, cry, laugh, and love? Crimson Ties is porthole into the world of Laziel and Lachi, and a cast of other amazing characters.

From the start, this book had me hooked! I loved it so much more than the first, Crimson Reign, that I did not want it to end. The stories branching off could fuel another series, in my honest opinion. So many emotions engulfed me this time around....love, hate, sadness, joy...it was a full spectrum of 'feels'. We saw glimpses of new characters that I hope play into stories in the future. Laziel/Lorenza put themselves and Malachi through hell to save their love. We see love bloom and take hold with new couples that have their own battles to wage now. I'm in love with so many, it's almost hard to pick a favorite. This is by far the absolute best m/m epic I've ever read! And yes, it's epic! I'm ready for the next journey after what awaits at the end of 'Ties'.

HOLY HADES where do I begin with this amazingly HOT M/M paranormal book!

OMG those two incredible authors J.T. Cheyanne and V.L. Moon has definitely kicked Crimson Ties up a

few hot notches. You think the love story between Malachi (Lachi) and Laziel was hot and emotional in

Crimson Reign wait the best is yet come for these two lovers and all the other amazing characters in this

book.

I was impressed with the storyline and characters in Crimson Reign, but I was in complete awe when

I finished Crimson Ties. J.T. Cheyanne and V.L. Moon are amazing and talented authors that write

incredible storylines and characters that captivate and pull their readers into their story.

I absolutely fell in love with the HOT incredibly beautiful and heartbreaking love story of Malachi (Lachi)

and Laziel in Crimson Reign and it quickly became one of my favorite paranormal books, but after

reading Crimson Ties this has truly become one of my favorite paranormal series that I can’t get enough

of and I want more!

If you thought you took an amazing emotional rollercoaster ride in Crimson Reign then you will need to

buckle those seat belts tighter because in Crimson Ties you will be taken on the most intense emotional

rollercoaster ride that you have ever experience and you will love every minute of your ride.

OMG my emotions were all over the place by the end of this book!

The storyline and characters are written so beautifully and in depth that they jump of the page. You feel

that you become part of the story and experience everything that the characters do in this story. I am

absolutely in love with the story and all the characters in this book.

This is one of those books that once you begin reading it you WILL NOT want to put it down until you

have reached the very end. It will have you on the edge of seat till the next book.

YOU WILL WANT MORE! I KNOW I WANT MORE!

I HIGHLY recommended this book. This is a book that will stay with you and WILL WANT to read this

book over and over again.

This book truly deserves more than 5 stars!

This is truly one of the best paranormal books I have read in a long time. It has become one of my

favorite books. I am and will always be a Malachi (Lachi) and Laziel girl!

Keep an eye out for book 3 that hopefully will be out soon. You DO NOT want to miss what happens

next in this Hot and Amazing series! I know I will be keeping an eye out for the next book because I am

seating on the edge of my seat wanting to know what happens next in this incredible story.

This book picks up right where Crimson Reign left off. Thank god. That was a doozie of a cliffhanger. I love all of the action in this series. There's so many twists and turns, and I absolutely love that.

Lachi. My poor dark, sexy, angry, heartbroken vampire. If I didn't love Laz so much I swear I'd take him on to have Lachi. Lachi's anguish and anger broke my heart and made me cry big, fat, ugly tears. His stubborn pride made me want to smack him around. But his compassion made me happy, and he even had a couple funny moments which you didn't see from him in Crimson Reign.

Laziel angered me. On one level, I understood his decisions, but I felt that he just didn't handle his whole situation with the best judgment. And I blame Lachi a little for that.

Arial is my favorite side character (next to Vischeral but we'll get to him). The loyalty he had to Laz despite his allegiance to Lachi was inspiring. He was quite literally stuck between a rock and a hard place. He sincerely tried to help and comfort anyone who needed it, regardless of the reason. If anyone should have his fallen status reversed, it's definitely Arial.

Vischeral and Copi were smokin' hot together! Whew! My kindle nearly burst into flames. Vish is my kind of vampire. The way he protected Copi and put his life on the line for him just endeared him to me even more. And he's big, scary and growly. I really like that.

Clary & Celix. Oh those sweet, beautiful boys just broke my heart. I just want to wrap them up in hugs. I need more of them.

The one complaint I have is that the editing leaves a little to be desired. There were punctuation and spelling errors, as well as formatting issues, but the story itself made up for those. I hate the fact that the ending was, again, a major cliffhanger. But as I said in my review of Crimson Reign, I'll let it slide because this book is That. Damn. Good! This series has me on the edge of my seat and hoping to god that these talented authors don't make me wait another year for the next one.

I have to say I am much more impressed with this book than I was with the first. Crimson Reign is the second book in The Crimson Nights series and is co-written by V. L. Moon and J. T. Cheyanne I would say that they seemed to have blended their writing styles much better in this book than they did in the first. The plot lines seemed to mesh better and read less like two books set in the same universe that were mashed together into one.

The main thing I dislike about this series is how many of the conflicts are caused by extreme lack of communication and trust. The men in this series are mostly alpha males that lead lives that require them to be strong and brave with little to no support. To them love is a weakness and something an enemy can use against them, when in actuality love can be a means of unending strength and courage. Malachi, Vischeral and Roman are all faced with the choice to either admit their love or lose them forever.

Another part of the plot that draws mixed emotions from me is the character the Creator. While he does have immense power he seems to be a more devious and scheming God than an all-knowing and all-loving God who will guide but never interfere in the free choice of his children. I know at some point everyone’s faith is tested, but even if things don’t go your way you have faith that there is master plan with your best interests at heart. The Creator almost seems like a puppeteer that does not allow for free will but molds the circumstances to receive the results he is looking for. It saddens me to watch the angels question their Creator’s love for them. I think it will all become clear in the next book but for now the reader is left in a sea of doubt.

The parts of this book that I loved were the characters. It was amazing to watch how the characters and relationships we were introduced to in the first book were expanded upon and developed. All three of the major relationships so far faced a major problem that had the ability to tear them apart but love persevered. Major alliances were made against the increasing evil of Darklon’s machinations with the Nephilim Queen and overall many questions were answered. However, as with the first book this one also ends in a major cliffhanger. I was reluctant to read the second book but was very glad that I did because it was worth to see these characters develop and I am looking forward to the third book (and hopefully conclusion!) in this series.

Please read my review of Crimson Reign before reading this review, as they are as closely intertwined as the stories themselves.

Oh, my goodness. I didn't think that the developing storyline of The Crimson Nights Saga could get any more intense, but was I ever wrong!

Even better than the first book; Crimson Ties gripped me from the very first page, picking up right where Crimson Reign left off, and taking me on a sensual, action packed and dramatic roller coaster ride that I never wanted to end!

This epic story kept me up reading through the night... I just couldn't put it down. The foundation that was set initially is the bedrock from which Crimson Ties takes flight. It contained everything that I loved about the first story and magnified it one-hundred times. Passionate, heart wrenching, emotionally engaging and suspenseful, with darkness that fearlessly skirted the edges of depravity, I really don't have words to describe how deeply Crimson Ties impacted me.

The writing is outstanding and the amazing duo of J.T. Cheyanne and V.L. Moon are imposing in their creative genius. I would give this more than 5 stars if I could, and place it at the top of list for the 10 best books of 2014!

My Rating: (5 of 5 Stars) 5
The multiplier rating takes effect.

I have to confess, reading Crimson Reign was slow on the uptake for me. I just could not connect with the whole plot of angels and demons and such. I normally don't read these kinds of stories for personal reasons but there was just something about the book that made it impossible to put it down. Knowing I was committed to read this second installment was my actual drive. Yes, that read was slow for me, it took me weeks, but when I started to read Crimson Ties, I was just gobsmacked surprised, elated, and just plain astonished that this kept me reading till the wee hours of the morning that I needed to connect with a good friend who just woke up from across the world, sent her a crying chicken message and asked: What. In. Heck. Just. Happened!?

No, I don't normally read angels and demons, especially the heavenly and hell types. Maybe something to do with my background. Thing is, once I got through Reign, I was now familiar with Malachi and Laziel and the supporting cast of characters. In this second installment, where book one ends, this one opens, we have a plot that unfolds so unexpectedly and so fast that I stayed seated until the book said: To Be Continued....

Whoa!

Holy Hot Angel & Vampire!!! Laz and Lachi are the ultimate paranormal pair!! Laz is stuck for most of this book as Loz, his female half and we get to see a more sensitive side to him, not that we see much of him/her at all for most of this book! Oh the torture of these two being separated!! Lachi is pulling his hair out without Laz, and taking it out on anyone close to him. But still through out we see that is really is meant to reign over the vampires. He is definitely the leader that Laz has always meant him to be!

Oh and the supplemental characters take over the heat in this story!! Vish and Copi are burning up Alaska and oh my I love them both!! And again we are left with a situation that has you wanting to throw your ereader across the room screaming NOOOOOOOO!!!!!! You can't possibly leave me like that!!

But I will patiently wait for the next book, because I really have no choice! But if you love a GREAT paranormal m/m read..........this series if for you!!!

This is the second book in The Crimson Nights Saga Series. The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the book. The characters were well developed and thought out. I found the story and characters enthralling. Malachi is the Vampire King and Laziel is an Angel and they are the MC’s of this book and soulmates. There was Angels, Vampires, treaty, passion, a Nephilim Queen, an evil vampire Darklon, pain, torture and so much more in this book.

Here is a quote from the book, “They stopped fighting because I told them to,“ the large male spat, jerking Malachi from his thoughts. “Your mistake, …. I don’t … take orders from you.” Malachi shrugged. “They would have died anyway. This way saved them a … of a lot of pain before they got dead. And, in case you missed it, I’m not in the mood for banter.”. There is more but you will need to read the book which I can recommend as a good read. I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review.

Got ARC for an honest review.

Wow! Wow!
The second book pulls you into the story that much more. At times I felt like I was there watching everything unfold. With all the turns and twist and wondering whats going on.
The author’s introduces us to new characters along the way. Some you like and some you just don’t know what to think about them.
Vischeral and Copi had a very hot kiss moment in the car. There was other spots in the story with some steaminess among others as well.
I thought the story was well written and kept at a very nice steady pace. Loving the series! I will be stalking the author’s shelves for more books, right after I finish the third book.

Thank you for letting me read your series.

I didn't think it could get much better than book 1, but I was wrong! This book is amazing as it continues the story of Laz and Lachi and also all the wonderful supporting characters and their relationships. So much is going on that you won't be able to put this book down until the end. On my way to read book 3!
