Sandy Brown grew up reading Nancy Drew and now she is the real life version. She works as a P.I. for a small Seattle firm and just got a huge case. Some rich power-hungry creep killed a little girl and Sandy has to make sure she digs up enough dirt on the guy to put a needle in his arm. But something goes horribly wrong. Forced to do the unthinkable, Sandy has to choose between justice and the law. Sometimes real justice happens in a dark alley--not a courtroom.
Am truly appalled that someone would steal a beloved author's name and that of her main character as their pen name. If you purchase these books you're funding their bogus attempt at ripping off the public. Shame on whoever writes these books.
This book would’ve rated a lot higher but it was so hard to read through the typos, misspelled words, and sentences that made no sense. You need a better proofreader!! Other than that, the story was good.
First Kinsey Grafton Book I’ve read, and I loved it! I liked all the characters, the mystery, everything. Well, it could have been proofread a little better, but still a very nice read.
This book kept you hanging in. The chapters were short, but I would say just one more. I'd have to make myself stop reading or I'd get nothing done. Can't wait to read the next in the series. A must read.
This was a good story with good characters but the story did not flow well. There were many grammatical errors and misspellings. I’m hoping the next book will have much improved writing.
Not a bad story overall, some things came up that there was no background on and it didn’t fill the character out. What made me consider the read was the authors name …..
This story had a good plot but I think it fell apart right at the beginning. There was a lot of violence. I probably will read next story but not anytime soon.
She keeps you hooked by adding in a surprise here and there. Loved the plot and the ending. Can't wait to read the next book cause she has to end up with Taylor.
