I have read the whole series so far, and after reading all of everyones reviews, I had to double check that we all read the same book because nobody is mentioning the last 100 pages of this book seeming like it was written by AI and not the author.
In the last 100 pages of the book, the writing style SIGNIFICANTLY changed, then details the author has been doing the whole book changed;
So the male character was 28 the entire book, it said it point blank he was 28, there would be allusions to it "Eight year old me.... Twenty years later....." But in the last 100 pages (which is mere DAYS since his age was last said, and no birthdays happened) all the sudden it starts saying hes 32 years old.
The female character had green eyes with gold flecks in them, it said it outright but also would say "Her gold chain brings out the gold flecks in her green eyes." But in the last 100 pages, all the sudden hes "looking into her blue eyes." And another detail; the whole book shes running from an arranged marrage to a guy whos name is Anton, and all the sudden in that last 100 pages they start calling him Ivan.
Along with a boat load of grammar, spelling, and punctuation mistakes, this book was a let down compared to the first two in this series.
I dont know what service this author could have used for AI to finish the book but I hope they do not use it for the next book. The plotline is good, just all the details and the potential use of AI is what I have a problem with.

A wonderful read, marvellous characters and story line that will hold you riveted within its pages
Erik Ivanov has been set the task of abducting the daughter of their greater enemy Katarina Lebedev who has been causing the family a great deal of trouble by attacking their warehouses and other establishments.
As Erik and Katarina are together and he has been acting as her jailer and cannot believe that they are beginning to have feelings for each other’s, and then as the time passes and Katarina begins to understand exactly what it was like to be free, she knows that she wants to remain with her father’s enemies.
Unfortunately, she discovers her father has taken one of the women the brothers have been dating and has said that she will be killed if they do not return his daughter, Katarina insists that Erik accepts that she has to be handed over so that they can get the woman away from her father. As usual as the hand over happens her father tries to pull a fast one by attacking the brothers at the handover.
Then when she discovers that he has already arranged for her to be married to one of the other Bratva families who has already told her she will be nothing more than a decorative bauble and Katarina knows that she will have to escape before the wedding no matter what.
I will not spoil the outcome for other readers but guarantee that you will be captivated by the outcome of this story and will be left looking forward to the next book in this series.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.

This is the third book in the series. Well, each story functions as it’s complete standalone romance his brothers who stories were the first two books will also feature in the story.. It is not necessary that you read their stories as you will get the gist of what is going on however, if you read them in order, you will have a more layered reading experience and understand the history in the family. She was born a mafia princess, but has never wanted that life. She turned away from her father, leaving behind everything. She knew to start her own company and be independent. She is very successful and has built something admirable however she cannot escape who she is. A rival family kidnaps her to use for leverage over her father. She has been around these types of men her whole life however she never expected him. Despite their circumstances. She feels a connection to him like she has never felt with anyone else. Not only that, but their chemistry is so strong that their passion ignites into very steamy spice. It is almost combative how it explodes between them. He was raised in the duty to his family. He has never wavered in that duty. Nothing has ever challenged him the way that she does. For the first time in his life, he’s finding himself wanting something for himself. These brothers are all very dominant, very alpha possessive over the top men. The women who fall for them do so, despite being strong and independent in their own, right. There is definitely a lot of mafia family drama in this one as well as the capture captive dynamic. They also get a happily ever after.

Erik Ivanova is tasked with maintain Katarina's security at a remote location. She tries to rile Erik up by fighting back against his security measures. He is unable to fight his attraction to her.
They start to develop feelings for each other.
His brother Dimitri's girlfriend is kidnapped by Igor, who wants his daughter released. An exchange is arranged, but Igor attempts to eliminate the Ivanov's completely.
Katarina is taken to her father's home where a marriage has been arranged with the Petrov family who will help Lebedev family.
She is rescued by Erik and his brother.

These two develop feelings and become more with the knowledge of their families being enemies. With making a point Igor arranged a marriage for Katrina to an even more cruel man any the hope she has of escaping is if Erik can rescue her. Chain Me is exactly what I look for in a dark Russian mafia romance. It has all the delicious tension—enemies to lovers, touch-her-and-die protectiveness, and a brooding, dangerous alpha male you can’t help but root for. The chemistry crackles from the start, and the storyline kept me turning the pages late into the night.
I especially loved how the heroine isn’t just a damsel in distress. She’s smart, strong, and independent, which made the dynamic with the hero even more compelling. The mafia world Bianca Cole creates feels gritty and high-stakes, and the emotional pull between the characters is impossible to resist.
If you enjoy dark romance with possessive heroes, fierce heroines, and a blend of heat and danger, you’ll definitely want to pick this one up. Highly recommend to mafia romance fans!.

This story follows Katarina and Erik. Katarina has spent time building up her own company. She doesn't want it to be involved with her father's mafia business. Erik is someone who always does what he can for his family. But when he meets Katarina he is thrown off his game. He kidnaps her because he is part of her father's enemy's family.

Erik is a contradiction in that he has been all about the family, until Katarina is their target to keep her father from attacking their businesses. Beautiful Monsters series
The series is a great read. Looking forward to number 4 in the series. The story lines and characters are engaging. Love the mafia storyline and alpha male vibes and smart, strong, independent women. And the spice is 5 stars.
All that being said...... I am a stickler for continuity!! Too many times details would change, the most prevalent being eye colors, which became distraction. Running in bare feet and all of a sudden shoes are mentioned in the next paragraph. The story didn't move smoothly with these transitions.
At least there were only a few proof reading errors. As I said, I'm a stickler for continuity.
All that being said, it is still an excellent, engaging and bingeable series. Definitely worth reading.

I am obsessed with this dark mafia romance. Bianca Cole's talented writing pulls you into the action. Her attention to detail and the interesting characters she creates make the worlds she creates exciting.
I love the MCs and the supporting characters are great too. The Ivanov brothers are hilarious.
Katarina is confident and intelligent. I really loved her.
Erik is our broody deliciously morally-grey tattood mafia man with a heart only for Katarina.
They have instant intense chemistry. And the banter alone between the two had me giddy with excitement.
This is the third book in the series and can be read as a standalone. I plan on going back to read the first two books and can't wait for the fourth one.

Erik & Katarina's story had me hooked from their first interaction at the gala & i almost read it in one go. She a strong, independent woman determined not to let her mafia father drag her into his business but then she is kidnapped as leverage against her father. When Erik is in put in charge of keeping her captive but there is a chemistry between them that he is struggling to keep locked away but she knows how to press his buttons which leads to some very interesting times.
There's a lot of steam, sass, laughs courtesy of Erik's wonderful family, betrayal, kidnapping before we get a chance of a happy ever after for two soul mates.

Katarina had thought her family and its businesses was behind her or at least not in her life any more. Wanting nothing to do with its criminal world she has built her own tech company. But the past comes to into her world. When her father’s enemies take her, Erik Ivanov all sin and dangerous.

Every series has that one book that doesn't quite live up to the others. For me, this was the book. Maybe because Eric seemed the quiet one, or maybe because his brothers in the previous books were larger than life over the top, I don't know. Eric is in charge of kidnapping Katerina whose father is the Ivanov's enemy. She has her own tech business and wants nothing to do with her father's business. The story was good but quieter. I love the instant attraction between Erik and Katrina becomes quite steamy as these enemy to lovers in this dark romance. A captivating story of kidnapping, seduction, romance and their witty banter brings their character to life in this excellent story. Erik is an enforcer. He has always done what was best for the family but meeting Katarina has him wanting something for himself.

Chain ⛓️💥 Me!!
Cole has done it again! Beautiful Monsters book three, Chain Me: A Dark Captive Mafia Romance, is the best one so far. Erik takes Katerina, the daughter of an enemy, captive. A true enemies to lovers romance the reels you in and doesn’t let you catch a breath till the end! The tension and spice coupled with mafia drama and violence kept me satiated enough to wait for Alexei’s story in book four!.

I'll buy and read anything she writes.. She could write a 5 page book and I would still buy it... she is such an underrated author...love love love her work... she is amazing... buy this book and all her books... thank me later🤭.

I’ve read the other books in this series and have enjoyed them all. And while I really enjoyed Erik and Katarina’s story, I didn’t fall in love them as much as I did the other couples. But I still very much enjoyed it and am glad to have read it. I think one of the things that had me not loving this one was the inconsistency with detail.
This is still a great story and each book, including this one, has grabbed my attention right away and had me hooked. So I’d definitely recommend it!

i was really excited to read this but it was mostly just disappointing. i felt like erik was boring and while i did like katarina, she paled in comparison to the other two fmcs of this series so far. the premise seemed really interesting so im sad i don’t like this more.
however, it’s hard to really make a good romance when the two main characters are either avoiding each other or being locked away from each other for basically 70% of the book.
anyway, i just can’t wait for alexi’s book

The unbreakable, unfeeling soldier falls for his captive. Erik and Katarina and beautiful together. So cut off from emotion, strong walls built to protect themselves. What should be the enemy, is each others downfall into love. High stakes, high heat, they just can’t stay away from each other. I loved that he had to google how to be romantic.

This had me entranced from start to finish. The spark between Erik and Katrina from their first meeting until the very last page was pure chemistry. Hot and steamy is an understatement- this is my first book by Bianca Cole but it certainly won’t be my last.

Katrina's kidnapping by the Ivanov's is precipitated by years of animosity between the Ivanov family and Lebedev family. This book was an original twist on the enemies to lovers trope, which I thoroughly enjoyed reading. Twists and turns kept me fully engaged and this book was unputdownable.
