Sweet revenge keeps her alive … and drives her to kill.

I am the forgotten one, the girl who was left for dead.
In this mental hospital I call prison I plot my revenge.
I remember everything.
Their faces. Their touch. Even their smell.
What they did to me was beyond cruel. I’m going to return the favor.
In here I survive by using someone just as they used me. One of them wants to claim me as his own. A man without mercy, without a conscience, craving the wickedness inside me. But I won’t be a puppet for his desires. I will play his strings like a puppeteer and use him to escape.
And when I do … I will kill them all.

This is Ashley's story and the final book in the Delirious Series. This is a full-length novel. These books should be read in order.

WARNING: This book contains sexually explicit scenes, very disturbing situations, strong language, dubious consent, and graphic violence.

3.5 Literally-Insane-Stars! ☆☆☆ i don't even know where to start. I liked the story for the most part but it did drag on for a while and Ashley's split personality disorder just confused me. And some stories can pull off writing back and forth in the present & past tense, but here it just happened every other chapter and i had to keep track of both stories. It felt like i was reading two separate books at the same time and trying to connect with both characters...didnt work. i did like seeing Sebastian come and save her. He did keep his promise to Lillith :)

I’m genuinely at a loss as to where to begin with this book. My mind is still racing to catch up with everything that was revealed and all that I’ve come to question with this story. Scorch is the third book in the Delirious Series and finally lets us into Ashley’s head, which proves to be just as dark and twisted a place, as I would have imagined. Ashley is out for blood. Her fierce determination for revenge on the men who destroyed her world is overwhelming and Clarissa Wild made her anger and pain spill off each and every page. Ashley’s point of view from inside the institution was unique and offered explanations as to the inner workings of the hospital that filled out the string of events that had previously unfolded in the series.

Ashley is an anomaly. I’ve never met a character like her and I’m still unsure as to my feelings towards her. There was an overlying sense of undeniable madness with this character that made her both completely fascinating and totally unreachable. Clarissa Wild did an amazing job at conveying the thoughts and emotions of this troubled girl and I was irreversibly hooked by Scorch. Sam’s character felt like a figment of Ashley’s imagination at times, his presence seeming simultaneously familiar and completely foreign. Reconciling his role in the story was challenging and added to the growing mystery of the book that proved to be so necessary to the unorthodox outcome of this story.

I don’t know how to explain the mind-games that Clarissa Wild plays in this book and the Delirious series as a whole. Even now I wonder if what I thought was real could have merely been the insane projections of a mind that has been completely broken. The premise of this series is just that, the mind is a treacherous place and one the damage is done, we’ll never know the extent of its reach. Clarissa captured that sentiment and designed a thrilling journey full of passion and suspense from it, keeping me addicted to the rampant uncertainty and overwhelming emotions of Ashley’s story.

A brilliant book, an amazing series and a truly talented author.... Need I say more!

OMG, what a way to finish this outstandingly brilliant series. My head hurts though, I've never had to work so hard to understand a book. It's right what others are saying though, a lot of what is running around your mind is probably assumed and not necessarily part of the complex storyline but that's the magic that is Clarissa Wild's writing. Yes, this series is deep, it's dark, it's brutal but it is so brilliantly put together it's difficult to leave alone and to move on to other books which you know will be bland in comparison. Questions are still running around inside my poor mind and I need to either re-read the series now, including Mr X (which is essential) or take my head off and let it be!

Only a couple of series have needed me to draw out a mind-map and this was one of them. I think it would have helped to have read the books consecutively and not as I have done; waiting on book release dates. You need an active mind to appreciate this series and it's not a recommended bedtime read but what you will experience is a totally mind blowing story and a ride like no other.

After the conclusion to Lilith's story, Scorch completes the series by filling in the gaps from Ashley's perspective. Ashley is guilt ridden and must avenge the cruelty that has she has experienced at the hands of a story written and lived out by bored, wealthy businessmen.

Spoilers would be too easy to reveal in a detailed review so I'm not going to say anymore but in my mind I still have some questions which need answering and how often can you say when you've finished a book that you are still trying to piece together the remaining pieces of the jigsaw days afterwards. Wow!!!!

This is the last instalment in the Delirious Series and we get to read about Ashley's story.

This book is so dark, and so full of raw emotion it's like watching an Scorsese masterpiece.

We are constantly plagued by doubt, we see the behaviour of both characters, Ashely and Sam, and to be honest you are constantly wondering where the pieces are going to fit into the story, We all know by now (having read the previous books), that Ashley was coming out for revenge and that the only motivation was to find those who took away her humanity.
From the very first page Clarissa grasps the readers attention with an action packed scene, from then on is a complete roller coaster of emotions that makes it impossible to put down the book. Every chapter is perfectly crafted and each dialogue is as perverse as the next. We have the opportunity to see Mr. X making a brilliant and may I add charming appearance in this book, I loved having him in the story.
I really can't say much about the actual plot as I wouldn't like to give the story away, but I must warn you, just when you think you have the story all figured it out, Clarissa changes course and takes you in a completely different direction, something that I may add she does with a flourish and extremely well.

Readers must be warned this book is not for the faint hearted, is raw, graphic with a very strong dialogue, graphic sex scenes and plenty of violence. I LOVED IT.

Scorch is Book 3 of The Delirious Series and this last installment is Ashley's story . You must read these books in order. Scorch is told from Ashley’s POV. I seriously loved every other book in this series, this was no different.

In the previous books you hear Ashley’s story from Lilith’s perspective of what happened. I absolutely loved Lilith and Sebastian's stories! What we didn’t know was all the things that went on behind the scenes after she was taken. Ashley is a prisoner just as Lilith was in one of the “facilities”. Ashley is strong, feisty and catches the attention of one of the “doctors” Sam.

Sam seems lost, motivated by selfishness. All of this an act of what has been written, yet, Sam strays. He is dark is on a mission to either make her or break her, but either way she is going to be his, mind, body and soul. He humiliates her, starves her and pushes her well beyond what most can endure.

We learn about her past before she was even taken. She suffered so much abuse only for it to continue now that she is captured. What she endures to escape, what and who she becomes and how it all finally ends. OMG what a freaking ending, I was totally surprised with the ultimate end game honestly, but wow what a road. This series was a complete mindf*ck. Dark , Twisted and totally deliriously delicious! 4.5 Stars

ACE is out to avenge Ashley. With all the tools of the trade and training under her belt, will she avenge every girl who was tortured and killed innocent girls?

holy cow!.Clarissa Wild takes us on a roller coaster ride and then some! Every time you think you get what's happening, another bomb drops and your like 'what the hell?' I have loved this series from beginning to end and everything in between. Scorch has brought everything to fruition and I admire Clarissa with all her hard work and imagination in creating such a sick yet fantastic series!

Audiences need to be aware of sex and violence that some readers will find offensive. If you don't like dark erotica or dark romance, this series isn't for you. You have been thoroughly warned.

18+ only for this book and others in the series!

Clarissa Wild; I thank you again for such a phenomenal read...I'm completely dumbstruck and in complete awe!

5 'Holy fuck Clarissa, you are BRILLIANT' STARS

Evil people always have the most fun.

So this is Ashley's story, if you haven't read the previous two books (Snare and Seize) please stop fucking around and START IT.

I can't wrap up my mind around how I feel about Scorch. Everything becomes clear as we get into Ashley's mind and I loved every fucking second of it. That woman is so damn strong, I loved her instantly. What got me more crazy about this book is "Mr. X" and Sam, too.

“I’ll use you until you can no longer stand. Until you can no longer breathe. Until you can no longer eat or drink without me. I’ll break you, Ashley. And you’re going to let me.”

The story is so captivating and perfect.
Clarissa I'm sooooooo stalking you lady..Well actually I already am, so I guess I'm stalking you even more? lol.

After everything she's been through Ashley deserves her revenge on the men who ruined her.

Trapped in an asylum and prisoner of her own mind she has nothing to do but plot their demise. Little does she know that there's someone else who wants revenge and is planning on using her to achieve his end.
This book is not for the faint of heart but if you've made it through the rest of the Delirious series then you know what you're in for.

This was good but I felt the story jumped too much. It didn't build properly for me. jumping from past to present but then leaving out big gaps in the present. It just didn't flow smoothly enough for my taste. The story had lots of potential though. I know sam loved ashleigh and tried to help but there was a disconnect for me. I don't know. I just couldn't feel it. This love or hers for him.

I’m doing a review for the entire Delirious Series

There is so much detail missing. The author definitely loves to repeat herself, A LOT, over everything. Including when the characters are having an argument. It was just... lame. She also loves the word wantonness and latter. Wantonness is literally in every single sex scene. No joke. At first it was annoying then I just started laughing because it became very predictable. The whole series leaves a lot to be desired. Wasn’t even close to a 3 star for me. I’ve bought several books from this author and her style is always the same. She leaves the big details out! I keep hoping she’ll start to include more, but I’m always left disappointed.

I had highly anticipated Ashleigh's story from day one of the series and while the book didn't disappoint, I feel like something was missing although I can't quite put my finger on it. With that being said it's still worth the read.

I know you think that your ready for this installment, especially if you have
read "SEEK" & "SNARE." So did I. There is no way to prepare for all that
happens within these pages! It is non stop, mind bending, diabolical dark, and,
evil all the way through to the end. No Wait! It doesn't even end, it just kind
of stops.... So get comfy because your not going to be able to put this
down....Right off the bat, Sebastian takes a bullet to the shoulder that was
meant for Lillith. and she is running through the woods now, in the dark, being
hunted by the Genesis group, when Sebastian catches up to her, but Lewis is
close and calling his name. They push their way through the forest, and it's
midnight before they reach the road. Sebastian gets out his phone and says,
"we're here," and out of nowhere a car is racing toward them. they get in there
is quite a scene between them, she is pulling the car apart, he pulls a knife
and in the end they are both bleeding! The nightmare has begun.......Lillith
says, "Tell me. Tell me everything " Sebastian knows it's time to come clean...he
says,...."You want to know? I'll tell you. I'll tell you all about my life.
But know this: from now on, you are mine. Forever. No freedom. No way out.
This is it. You want to know my dirty secrets? Fine. You'll become a part of
them."........So we get to see what makes Sebastian the man, (or monster) he is
today. It becomes all about power, money and self-worth. There is no such thing
as love: only people with desires and how they fulfill them. He built his empire
from the ground up until he had the biggest curated library in the state. His
life better, he is stronger, smarter, cleaner, impervious. But nothing prepared
him for what was to come...... Four men walked into his library, their auras
were like poison, they knew his secret and they wanted him to work for
them.........he started out as just a pawn that they used until the wretched
Hubert forces him to take part in their "games" as they call it...It turns out
that he is capable of much worse than he could ever imagine. Their reach goes
far and their power is absolute...... It is true that absolute power corrupts
absolutely. It's totally mind bending to imagine some group as evil as this
having so much power that they can use, abuse or kill anyone that happens to
stumble across their radar. Such was the case for Lillith's family and best
friend Ashley....He tells her about the books, how they use them, and the code
they go by, and how it's all gotten out of control. Now they are bored, so their
excitement comes in the form of perversion....He did everything he could to keep
Lillith away from them. He can't change the past, but he will change the future
for his little fairy. He knew the moment they realized she escaped he was bound
to lose her someday, either by choice or force. She opened his eyes, made him
believe he could stop them. She gave him the spark he needed to fight it all,
gave him the hope that he could someday turn this all around and make them pay
when the time comes. As for Lillith, she says, words that hard to swallow.."
I want to hate you, so badly. You're so wrong, what you let those men do to
us....ugh...disgusting, you broke me. What you told me, it sickens me. I should
be scared of you. I should want to run and never come back." But she loves him.
Denying it is impossible. She's fallen for her captor, body & soul. He has
stolen her heart a long time ago. So....Together they go to a different city,
always on the run. They have to be invisible to survive. Sebastian does give
Lillith her freedom. He made the group believe she is dead...He leaves her with
the promise that he will not come back with out Ashley or she can shoot him.
Lillith moves on, builds a new life, goes to school, and has a new career by the
time Sebastian shows up 5 months later..... Ashley is not with him....So, Will
Lillith shoot him?....What became of Arthur, Hubert, Lewis, &
Patrick?......And finally,...Where is Ashley? Did he at least find her? Is she
alive or dead? ....I swear!!!!....I am going to need an institution before the
answers are revealed in "SCORCH" ...This series truly lives up to it's name!
Come and get DELERIOUS with us! Contains violence and sexual scenes some
readers may find offensive. This is a dark romance story, I recommend to mature
adults 18+ and have a strong stomach.

Crazytown in Hell...Scorched to the Ground...In the Name of Vengeance

The abuse, cruelty and horror Ashley suffers began in the first book of the series. Apparently the first perverse rape and torture she suffered at the hands of bored, uber wealthy members of a lawless, morally bankrupt down right sick and perverted club was not enough senseless punishment. She is held prisoner in some shady "institution". Her rebellious behavior earns her the distinction of being her personal caretaker's " pet".
"In this prison, I seem like a girl who’s lost everything. And I can’t say that I don’t agree. I have lost almost everything that I once deemed mine. My body, my freedom, my mind. But no matter the sacrifices, they will never own my heart or soul. Those two things remain untouched; I will use those two things to destroy everything."
Her caretaker, Sam while trying to break her down sexually falls in love with her and despite her vow to herself to use him to stay alive and just maybe help her escape, and to kill him after lumping him in with the perverse men, she begins to feel something for him. For awhile we meet Ace and her killing/torture lessons with Mr.X. To the relief of the reader of the three book series, everyone meets with their just desserts in the most vivid of detail. This is Ashley's book of "scorching" vengeance and just maybe love that is born out of red hot desire.
I truly enjoyed the writing once again. Interesting time jumping had me paying close attention to everything which made me feel completely involved in the story. Inventive storytelling. Brava!

~*~ Obsessed by Books arc given in exchange for an honest review ~*~

"My transformation is complete now. I've immersed myself in a world filled with darkness, dipped my fingers straight into hell's blood, and stepped out of my shell to become who I was meant to be.
A merciless, soulless, shameless killer."

This is Ashley's story which runs in the same time frame to the previous books, it's easier if you remember this is the same chain of events happening at the same time but through Ashley's eyes. We learn what became of the party girl...

After the traumatic events that happened to her as part of a scene in a book that wealthy, bored business act out word for word, we find Ashley as a prisoner in one of their facilities. She has caught the eye of Sam, a supposed Doctor, who likes the feisty spirit and uncrushable soul he sees. He seeks her out to break her, to make her his...forever. This is a twisty path which makes you question which way is up. The story is dark and unrelenting. Sam is yet another lost soul, motivated by selfishness and not held back by the restraints of the usual moral guidelines. Not afraid to punish Ashley, he debases her, humiliates and starves her until she utters the right words, the words he so desperately needs to hear.

Through her torture and enforced behaviour modification training we learn about her past, before she was taken. We learn that hers has always been a dark road, no light on the horizon for her. Her inner strength was born as a child, cultivated by the ongoing abuse she suffered. Her choices have always been limited and have always ended in blood yet Ashley has found a way to survive and even thrive....

She clings on to the hope she will escape from her prison, escape so she can kill those who have hurt her. She lives for vengeance but will she be able to survive long enough? ACE is the voice on the other side of the wall, just a comfort to Ashley to have someone to talk to. This is also her story as she some how manages to escape and act on behalf of Ashley, training with X to become a killer.

The story is told through Ashley and ACE and having read the previous I has my suspicions ...the ending is mind blowing! And that is all I can say without spoilers. This is a fabulous end to a total mind fuck of a series. It's dark, it's twisted and most of all it makes you think. I now need to read X's story.

A four star mind bending read.

FOR REAL - THAT JUST HAPPENED...
After hours of thinking about what to write I am still at a loss. I just cannot sum up this book , this series without sounding like a jumbled crazy mess !! This is Ashley's story and it is scary , dark , twisted , bloody and just so much more than I expected. I mean poor Ashley , left to fend for herself in that asylum , locked away , tortured , used who knows what else. Poor Ashley...Right !!?? Ashley has a new bag of tricks and lets just say she is overly excited to start using them !! If you have been following the series you are dying for this book , if you are unsure or had issues reading the other books think twice because as crazy as they were this is a whole new level of crazy !! We are getting this story from past and present , you really have to watch the dates at the chapter starts. We also have dual POV and I honestly can't decide who was worse , Ashley or Ace !!

As Lilith has her Sebastian/Doctor , Ashley has her Sam/Doctor. Sam is an enigma. Such a confusing , controlling evil. But of course you grow to love him , at least I did. I just wanted to get in his head and that was NOT EASY !! The torture and yet care he gave to Ashley gave her strength to plan her revenge on the men who took her and created the empty soul left in her place. On the verge of being free something goes wrong and Ashley is once again trapped. It seems as though she has been left behind and is possibly on the verge of not making it through , after all she has been through and wished to get back it may be over for her.Luckily for her Ace has been there to help her through and is now on a mission to carry out Ashley's revenge. Someone from our past Clarissa history comes to train Ace and I have to say this was exciting and just a great little twist to the plot !! Once training is complete Ace is on her own to carry out her revenge , starting with the one who managed to steal her heart when she was at her lowest. What will she do and how will it affect her plans ?? Take this crazy roller coaster ride with Ashley and Ace hang on tight and pay attention !! Not everything is as it seems and this just makes for the perfect edge of your seat WTF did I just read kind of story !! Saying nothing else BUT READ NOW AND ENJOY THE CRAZY !! You may need a straight jacket while reading so you can stop yourself from harming those who interrupt !!

This is Ashley’s story. We finally get to read how things turned out for her. She has been left in this mental institution and has horrible things happen to her because she didn’t forget like they wanted her too. She is determined to get out of there and get her revenge. She is going to kill everyone who had any part in what happened to her. This whole series has been dark and deranged but this book brings it to another level. There is a man named Sam who comes and visits her. He wants her to bend to his will, she refuses at first. He finds ways to make her do what he wants though; sometimes with the promise of helping, bringing her food, or by embarrassing her. She has already been so degraded just by what happened to her and then he does things that make it worse. He says that he cares for her and just wants to help her. Then there is Ace who winds up in the room next to Ace. They form a kind of bound. Ashley tells Ace all about her childhood and how she ended up there. Ace promises that if she gets out and Ashley doesn’t that she will avenge her. This book is full of twists and turns. Even Mr.X makes an appearance in the book. Clarissa is a fantastic author and I always look forward to reading her books. This has got to be one of my favorites by her. The books are always kinda dark but there is darkness out there. Just because they are dark doesn’t mean there is no love or romance. Even those who live in the darkness can love and be loved. I like how her books aren’t all sunshine and roses. The books still have happy ending to them in a way. Ashley is such a strong character. She had been through so much and most would have broken under the circumstances but not her. I love how Mr.X fit into the story. Ace would do anything it took to get revenge for Ashley. I felt at times that Sam used Ashley. He wanted her to do things with him and love him back. But the only times he was nice to her were to get her to do what he wanted. He didn’t do anything without it benefitting him in some way. To me anything Ashley felt for him was more of Stockholm syndrome than real feelings for him. I don’t want to give any spoilers for the book but the series is a must read for sure.
I was given this book in return for an honest review.

Warning: this is a dark novel so don't expect to get nothing but warm and fuzzy here. This an infuriating, gut wrenching, powerful mind f**k that only Clarissa Wild can deliver. If you have not read the other books in the Delirious series or Mr X, you will want to do so before reading this, otherwise you will be lost and confused.

The story is told from a different perspective than the first 3 books (Seek, Snare and Seize). Instead of Lilith and Sebastian's story, we are presented with Ashley and Sam's. This is where you have to really start paying attention if you haven't already to the storyline. The plot runs parallel to the other books as far as the timeline. And if you are paying attention you begin to see the puzzle pieces start to fall in place.

That is what I love about this series. We begin to see more clearly the tangled web that Clarissa has woven and still is (there is another book in the series) weaving. The multiple layers of the characters and the storyline are leading up to something big. What it is, I have not quite figured that part out yet. But I will, trust me I will!

So for those of you who like to a good mystery with some (okay lots) of dark erotica on the side, then I highly recommend this series. I have not met any other writer that can conjure up such a highly erotic yet disturbing, twisted, dark and complex storyline. So if you are a fan of this genre, I highly recommend this series.

Scorch, book 3 is Ashley's story. It still follows the main story, and the background as Ashley was also involved in the events that happened to Lillith back at the beginning, as she was Lillith's best friend. But it follows her path, and what happened to her over the time that Lillith's story is told.

Without sounding really confusing, and I know this review must be, but there's only so much I can say without spoiling the main story, but basically Ashley is also in the mental institute, and we get to see her side of the events that take place, and how she coped throughout, and what happened when she finally got out.
Again, very twisty, INCREDIBLY confusing as it goes backwards and forwards in time again, but still very sharp, dark and gritty.

If I'm truly honest, I don't think Ashley's story needed to be a full book, yes it was important and I would of liked to know what happened on her side of things, but I think it would of been better as a novella story.
This story was actually really dark, and probably the darkest in the whole series, from the graphic scenes, which was great. I love all of that. But the parts where Ashley was in the mental Institute did drag a little for my liking, which is why a shorter novella would of been perfect, just highlighting some of the parts.
But all in all, still a great story and I really enjoyed it. Still very twisty, and very dark and sexy!!

4 Stars.

A dark and twisted tale from beginning to end.
Lilith's story ended in Seize and Ashley's version of her own hell is told in Scorch. Her story is told in the same time frame as Lilith's
I love how strong she was, her desire for revenge fueled her to survive no matter what. And then came X. Probably my favorite part of Ashley's story was X's involvement, I loved reading about him again.

No spoilers. Scorch is yet another installment filled with hate, suffering, the will to survive, lust, differing versions of love, the need for revenge, revelations of a childhood that led to the downward spiral that landed Ashley in the hands of the men in the first place and finally the satisfaction of surviving and putting the past where it belongs.
It's still just as dark and twisted as the other books, if not a a bit more with a twist I didn't see coming until it smacked me in the face.
If you can't handle dark tales you should really steer clear of this series, these books with eff with your head and have you questioning what you just read once you close the book.

Holy hell. This is one of the most intense books that I have ever read.

We know Ashley as the best friend of Lillith who is also being help captive. Up until now all we knew was that she was there and screamed often for Lillith to remember. That is Ashley's curse...she remembers everything and they really want her to forget. In order to do that they have sent Sam to break her. This is where it gets even darker because you watch as he takes control of her body and mind and you aren't sure if you should want them to get together. More than anything you can't stop wanting her to gain her freedom, but then you have to wonder at what cost to Ashley will that come. She has set her mind on doing all that it takes to escape so that she can exact revenge on all those who have hurt her including Sam.

But there is a twist. Huge freakin' twist. It is Ace that escapes. Ace is the girl in the cell next to hers that she confides everything to about all that has happened to her. Ace is the one who manages to leave the hospital behind and go after the men who ruined Ashley.

This is one of those books that you will pull an all-nighter to read because you can't possibly put it down until you know what happens. I loved it.

I give Scorch 5 hearts!

Wow! CW does it again.
If you made it this far, your wondering how, and what happened when the news is revealed to Lillith at the end of book two. This is NOT a stand alone, this is book 3 of the Delirious series.
We finally get the answers we have been dying for. Ashley is as complex as every character that has been introduced in this series. It's a total thriller with a guest appearance from Mr. X. What's his involvement in all this?
As with the previous books CW pulls off the present to past time changes flawlessly. Most times I get bored with the 3rd book in a series, it seems and author loses the flow that first started in the beginning. That is NOT the cases here, I was glued to this book and couldn't put it down.
The only spoiler I will give is this book comes out March 3, 2015. In the time from now til then...

***********please if you haven't yet READ MR. X it will give you a better understanding of his part in all this, and also spoilers to his book are in Scorch.********************
I recommend this book. 5* I was gifted an ARC for my honest review.

I found this to be one of the most satisfying endings that I have ever read. I still am trying to put together all of the events in this book and make sense of some of it. But, I am so impressed with the writing style and the dark and gritty details that, none of that matters. I was blown away by Clarissa once again. She didn't just come into the dark world and give it a go, she stormed in and took over! I absolutely loved this book and this series. I loved the way she plotted this book and it gives you everything you wanted and more! Seeing Ashley this way was amazing and I really hope to see more work like this from Clarissa. She is by far one of my favorite authors and I will recommend this to all. Even those who don't normally read the dark romances and erotica. I do want to warn you that this book and the series is for those who love the genre but, if you are curious about the dark world then give Clarissa Wild a go. She is the perfect introduction to all that is dark, gritty, and erotic!

***I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review!***

Finally we have made it to the end! The secrets are out, and we are left barely holding ourselves together. I was seriously tense reading this series. It hurt my heart, and kept a grip on me for days after finishing. I was thoroughly satisfied with this series!

This was an innovative book full of lots of human emotion. Anger and revenge are powerful motivators. It causes us to do things we never would have imagined. Sometimes it makes us feel whole, and sometimes it just causes us more damage. I feel as if I have been put through the wringer, and every drop of emotion was pulled from me.

Ashley's story was heartbreaking, all-consuming, and just overall terrifying. I was glad that she got her own book, and we were finally able to put the pieces together. I can only read so many dark romances because they completely gut you, but this book was something I could not miss! I was up, down, sideways, and taken for the ride of my life! If you haven't read this series yet, what are you waiting for?

It was the best book in this series! Wow….
If you have read first two books you will know who Ashley is. If you haven’t you NEED to read them. Believe, you will be not disappointed ;)
So Ashley is in ‘hospital’ until one day she got a visitor. Sam. In the beginning he was really sick. I wanted to punch him couple of times! But in the end I cried for him. Yeah I know Clarissa doesn’t write sappy books where you can cry but that end…..I wanted to see Ashley happy and then BAM! And then another BAM! Well you need to read it if you want to understand me ;)
I really happy that Ashley got her revenge and I’m very happy that we got Mr. X in this book! I really enjoyed her and his dialogues.
So like I said you need to read this book! Is a little bit mind f*ck but you will NOT be disappointed! It’s worth your money ;) Oh and you will get first chapter of Stalker prequel which I can’t wait :)

WOW, I'm speechless!!

If you think that Seize was a mind-fuck, you would change your mind once you read Scorch. Ashley story in my opinion was the most complex story in this series. This girl is fearless, and she would get what she wants (revenge) no matter the cost.

The way the book intertwine with Mr.X is phenomenal (If you hadn't read Mr. X, I highly recommend you do so prior reading this book). Clarissa Wild have the ability to tell this story using past/present time flawlessly without a hitch and that something not all author can do right, and believe me I check. I was continuously going back to Seize and Mr. X to check dates.

This book made cringe, laugh and it gave goosebumps. Its really a great erotic thriller story, who would take your mind to all kind of different places trying to guest and put all pieces in the puzzle the right way. Its goes without saying that I loved this series and can wait for more from this Author.
