Rate this book
This is a dual POV, kisses only, sports romance in the Sweet Sports Kisses Series.

A reformed bad boy, an heiress with a secret, and a forbidden love.

Blake
Groomed to run my father’s company, I dream of flying down the speedway. Not "flying" a desk.

Forbidden from chasing my dream, I spend my free time helping kids chase theirs while waiting for fate to claim me.

It’s not until Ryder and I collide—literally—that I know I have to break free and take control of my own destiny. If I do, it could cost me my family.

Ryder
I thought I could forget my past, but one crash with my archnemesis changed everything.

Now, I’m forced into community service and facing the consequences of my recklessness—both on and off the track.

Slowing down isn’t easy, and losing isn’t in my nature. When she walks through the door, I have only one goal.
Win her heart.

Will I end up losing mine in the process?

Be Still My Racing Heart, a rivals to more novella, is book 3 of the Sweet Sports Kisses multi-author series—a sweet/clean romcom sports collection set across the U.S. Each story is connected through the Play It Forward organization, bringing heartwarming romance, humor, and just the right amount of competition. I received an ARC from the author but wasn’t required to post a review. This is my honest, voluntary impression after reading it.

Madison has written another wonderful book which ties in the characters from her series The Beanbaggers of Cornhole County to this book. I
loved that series and I loved this book so it’s very easy for me to wholeheartedly and enthusiastically
recommend you get this book! I would suggest you
get her other series as well so you can read about the other characters mentioned in this book as well!
They are delightful stories of people falling in love and having a strong Christian faith in their lives as well to ground them.

Ryder races cars but has a bad boy reputation due to
his past. When he is given an ultimatum of cleaning up his image or else he is forced to join a program of helping youth and meets the girl he has wanted to meet for a long time due to his relationship with her
brother.

This story delves into personal relationships and problems both have with their fathers as they get to
know each other by working together. Unbeknownst to him, Blake knows him because of a secret she shares with only a few others.

This is a wonderful story of people rising above what
others expect of them as they pursue their dreams of
what makes them happy.

I am confident you will love this story just as much as I do and hope you’ll want to read the other series and share these books with your family and friends! They are uplifting and deal with issues most of us faced in some form or another or know people who have gone through what these characters have.

Believe me you’ll not regret reading this book! Madison will quickly become a new author you’ll want to read more of as a result!

Be Still My Racing Heart is part of the Sweet Sports Kisses series. This is a multi-author sports romance series that is connected through the Play It Forward organization, but all books can be enjoyed as standalones or in any order.

This was such a sweet read. I have read two racing romances recently, and while I never would have thought that would be something I would really enjoy, I have to say... I'm a fan! It's definitely a unique sport, and I've enjoyed being brought into that world... and this one did that very well! Ryder has a bit of a reputation as the bad boy of racing, due to his father and his past. When he needs to turn that reputation around, he finds himself volunteering to mentor a teen through Play It Forward, where he finally gets to meet the sister of his best friend (the sister that his friend has been keeping him away from). And sparks fly. Ryder was such a fantastic character. I loved that while Ryder did have this impulsive, perhaps even a little reckless side to him, he was also just a really good person. I loved seeing not only how he connected with his mentee, but also how he encouraged Blake to follow her dreams as well. These two had a really cute chemistry, and while it was definitely a bit of an insta-love story... it absolutely worked for them. There's a little bit of a mystery with sabotage to a racer and a mysterious racer... and it all just worked together to create this really fun story that I couldn't put down. It's a quick read, but one with so much to love: complicated family dynamics, secret identities, swoon worthy romance, messages of faith, and of course, the Biddies!

Be Still My Racing Heart is a closed-door romance with kisses only, faith elements, and no language.

**ARC received for consideration. All opinions are my own.

This is the third novella in the multi-author Sweet Sports Kisses series featuring the charity organisation Pay It Forward, where a famous sports star mentors a child in need.

The sports star here is NASCAR racing’s bad boy, Ryder Stone, who, as a child, stole cars for his father before giving evidence against him and turning his car skills into becoming a racing legend. However, he needs to clean up his image or lose his sponsor, so he ends up at Pay It Forward and in close proximity to his best friend’s sister, who also happens to be his sponsor’s daughter. Blake is totally off limits, so naturally, he’s drawn to her.

I loved Blake and Ryder together. When they stopped sparring with each other, they quickly became friends and allies against the people working against them. Along with Blake’s brother Teague, they became an unbeatable force.

I enjoyed the background to Ryder, seeing how he changed what he was into the man he is now, and it was nice to see him and his father together, to see how the experience changed each of them. I loved how supportive Blake was of Ryder, defending him to anyone who held his past against him.

I guessed the twist at the end, for me, it was obvious, but I won’t spoil it for those who have yet to read it.

Sweet motorsport romance, clean and is easy to read. However, I would have liked to see their relationship grow gradually and not so much rushed, as they were so quick to liking each other after one week of knowing each other.

“Be Still My Racing Heart” is a sweet little novella, book 3, of the Sweet Sports Kisses multi-author series. It is also the second book by Madison Love that I have read. The first being The Beanbaggers of Cornhole County. Truthfully, I don’t think the book summary accurately represents the book. While the portion of “Blake” in the summary rings true, most of the “Ryder” portion doesn’t once you read the book. However, I didn’t realize that until after reading the book and going back to the summary afterwards. So, personally, I feel as though the book summary needs to be rewritten to more acutely repent the story within.

Now, I hate spoilers so I’ll do my best to be detailed in my review without giving away any spoilers for the book itself!

I’ll preface this by saying, I have not read any other books in the “Sweet Sports Kisses” multi-author series to which “Be Still My Racing Heart” belongs; however, in no way, shape or form did I see that effect the story. Based off of this story alone, I believe each book to be a standalone piece of work and, according to the summary, is connected through the Play It Forward foundation featured in the book itself.

Let’s begin with the positives:

Blake and Ryder are well written, well rounded characters. Both have their obstacles they must overcome within these pages and yet they both show continuous improvement of themselves and support of one another. The two of them together are so sweet and endearing. The strength of will, moral upstanding and unwavering faith they both display is such an admirable quality and rather lacking in modern day literature. I was pleased to experience such a good story, with good values and lessons within the pages from a modern day author.

You, also, get to enjoy a multitude of secondary characters, be they major or minor to the story itself, and each and every one of them was just as well written and thought out as the main characters. I would even be interested in seeing a story or two on other characters mentioned in this book! You’ll encounter characters you love, hate, question and forgive all within this little novella.

The story is sweet, swoon worthy and wholesome with a happy ending! Let’s be honest, that’s why we’re here!

I will also mention, there were a few things I didn’t like about this story. For instance, within the first few chapters is a scene where a secondary character privately reprimands Blake over genuine concerns and confusion that she brought up. Blake internally admits she jumped to conclusions and felt shameful but that didn’t track for me at all in regard to what had occurred. It seemed as if the author felt the need to “humble” Blake to see Ryder in a different light but that humility wasn’t earned in the circumstances that it occurred. That entire scene just seemed out of place to me.

I, also, noticed a sort of major plot hole, depending on one’s perspective. There’s a storyline where sabotage is at play, there’s suspicion and a few possible answers to the perpetrators and their motivations; however, there’s no real resolution to that, in my opinion, since no one is apprehended or suffers the consequences of their actions in carrying out the sabotage. It gets kind of glossed over instead of there being a resolution. At least that’s how I see it. If you don’t mind those missing answers, then don’t concern yourself, but I spent the remainder of the story wondering when it would be resolved only for the story to end and not get the answers I sought.

All that to say, “Be Still My Racing Heart” is a delightful little novella to read and I have plans to purchase a physical copy of this book for my ever growing library. I do wish I could purchase it directly for my Kobo device, unfortunately that’s not an option for me, but maybe one day that will change. I highly recommend this book to anyone seeking a sweet, quick, swoon worthy read with a happily ever after and characters you’ll love to love.

I received an ARC copy of this story and this is my honest opinion.

Be Still My Racing Heart ,this book is so good ,where do I start? Well it’s by the great Madison Love . Now she is an author to be sure of ,to get your heart racing . This awesome book with awesome pacing . The storyline is divine .NASCAR racing bad boy driver Ryder Stone has had his heart made of stone ,when he was young men was the one whole stole cars ,got into trouble type. Blake ? Well she’s an heiress with a secret and she wants to know more on the floor . Street level if you will. Wants to felel the thrill and the thrum as the machine hums to her tune . This book is rivals to more with a roar. We’ve seen Ryder before in Madison Love’s Beanbaggers of Cornhole County. ,here he literally bumps into Blake who is in The Paying It Forward Mentorship program. She’s a feisty one is she and he quite thinks she’s heavenly . She’s in a strop about her dad ,he won’t cut her no slack . Ryder has her back , he knows what annoying dads are about as he shopped his when he was younger from his ill gotten gains. His hands on the reins ,he had the hunger to race but not steal cars for his father than was once commonplace. Until he turned him in . Well shes supposed to take over the company but does she want that responsibility? No use waiting on fate Blake mate . Go on your date with destiny and maybe Ryder if he’s free. She has been biding her time ,helping kids get their chance to shine thinking where’s mine . This up was one awesome read , I read with greed. The storytelling is compelling and oh so much angst . Loved every minute of this fine story.

This is the 3rd installment of the Sweet Sports Kisses Series and let me tell it was so good!
It has a reformed bad-boy, a billionaire heiress with a secret, and forbidden love! What more could you ask for😅
Ryder has a bad boy reputation due to his father being a criminal when he was younger. Ryder has worked hard to leave that life behind while pursuing the life of a NASCAR driver but it seems people will always see him through the lens of his past!
He decides to join a mentoring program called Play It Forward that matches athletes with teens like a Big Brother/Sister to help shake the bad boy persona every one sees him with!
Blake is the heiress to the racing company that Ryder drives for as well as another mentor in the Play It Forward program! She is living under the constant pressure from her father to take over the family company but her true dream is to be a race car driver. However, her father threatens to disown her if she even considers going down that route!
When Ryder and Blake meet there is an instant connection, but due to circumstances in both of their lives it is ‘forbidden’ for them to be together!
Will Ryder’s past come back to haunt him?
Will Blake finally be able to do the one thing she has dreamed about her whole life?

I want to start by saying I received an ARC of this book. This book is part of the Sweet Sport Kisses series. The main characters are Ryder and Blake. Ryder is a race car driver and Blake works for an organization, Play It Forward, where they mentor kids and let them enjoy sports in the process. Ryder is best friends with Blake’s brother but has never met her until he is sent to Play It Forward to help with his bad boy image. Blake is expected to take over her father’s company one day but she would rather be racing. The more time Ryder and Blake spend together they fall for each other and help each other. Blake and her brother didn’t always get along with their dad but people can change when they want to. I love how Ryder encouraged Blake to chase her dreams. I love how supportive Blake was of Ryder. Ryder had a tough childhood but with people giving him a chance in life he became an amazing man. I love how he helped mentor at Play It Forward and how he was amazing with everyone there. The secret Blake had was wow and when everyone who didn’t know found out it was crazy but I was so happy. I loved to see people from Baggersville in this book. I was so excited when I found out Ryder was getting his own book as we met him in The Beanbaggers of Cornhole County series. I grew up watching racing so I was even more excited that Ryder was a race car driver. Overall, I loved this book and can’t wait to see what Madison writes next.

Even if cars flying down the race track at break-neck speeds is not your thing, this is a fun read that focuses on people, their purposes, and their motives within the setting of a race car track/profession. The focus is on relationships, especially the mentoring ones through the group Play It Forward. This fictional group utilizes professionals from various sports to mentor youth that need a positive role model. The story focus on relationships means that while this cute little romantic comedy style story is sweet and fun, there is a lot more to the writing than just a quick easy read. There is a soul-searching thought about why one does what they do, the consequences of it, and how to rectify poor situations. It is a good story and the mentorship focus is great. This connecting thread between these Sweet Sport Kisses stories is really nice. The fact that both the mentoring and relationship between family, friends, and that potential significant other is really front and center makes this a good read.

There is also a neat cross-over with another of this author's works - The BeanBaggers of Cornhole County. This connection makes the story fun. Seeing those characters reappear is neat and really ties the stories together.

Overall, this story is definitely worth the time.

I received an ARC from the author. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Drivers, start your engines! The race for love is on!

Blake Morrison wants nothing more than to drive race cars for her dad’s company instead of sitting behind a desk. Ryder Stone wants nothing more than to escape the shadow cast by his criminal father and prove himself a good driver and a good person. Blake’s brother Teague intentionally kept them from meeting for years. When they are paired together volunteering for Play It Forward, all bets are off and it’s a race for the checkered flag of their hearts.

I really enjoyed this story, not really knowing much about the racing world. I was pleasantly surprised at how low-angst it was, even in the handling of serious topics like prison, sabotage, and tough family dynamics. I loved Teague and his hilarious interactions with Blake and Ryder. I love a good redemption story, and this book offers so many! I wish there was a bit more of the Baggersville Biddies because I can tell those ladies would be a hoot with more time on the page.

This rivals to more, brother’s best friend romance is the 3rd book in the Sweet Sports Kisses multi-author series, with a NASCAR driver hero, hidden identity shenanigans, and great found family vibes.

Ryker's story! If you've been reading Love's books, we got to know him in Smoochin a Reticent Ranger (Ace and Elise's story), and I'm glad he gets his own now. He's a race car driver, though he's having a bit of hard luck at the moment. Basically, an owner who has it out for him. Blake is said owner's daughter, and a little more😉, who is trying to make her way without her father's influence. These two are more alike than they realize, though they have very different backgrounds. My heart hurt for what Ryker had to go through as a child because of his father (and his father's choices). His lineage continues to haunt him today, despite his success. Blake likewise is reminded regularly of choices made in the past.

The connection these two have is amazing and beyond physical. They're both waiting for marriage, so this book contains minimal steam.💋 Family drama seems to take center stage, beside the romance, while the racing plot plays a role in both storylines. The secondary characters, especially Teague, are wonderful and each have a hand in guiding the story. Overall, I highly recommend this book and can't wait for the next in this multi-author series!

I was gifted a copy of this book and voluntarily provided this review. Happy Reading Y'all 📚

BE STILL MY RACING HEART is the novella I didn't know I needed. It is part of a multi-author series called "Sweet Sports Kisses" but is also an addition to author Madison Love's own "Beanbaggers of Cornhole County" series. It is this connection that grabbed my attention when offered the chance to read the novella early.

Readers were introduced to Mabel's great-nephew, NASCAR Xfinity racer Ryder Stone, within the Beanbaggers series. This story finds Ryder having to pay it forward by mentoring someone at Play It Forward under the guidance of Blake Morrison, daughter of his racing sponsor. You can probably guess where this is going. It is a romance, after all.

As happy as I was that Ryder got his own story, the resolution seemed a little rushed, maybe to fit the confines of story length? The other disappointing thing (kinda) is that this wasn't released as a Beanbaggers novella.

That said, there is a twist or two that I won't spoil. I wouldn't want Mabel, Lettie, or Alma to come at me to teach me a lesson.

One last thing: Is there a Milo story in our future? He seemed to steal the scene whenever he appeared.

I received an advance reader copy from the author through BookSirens, for which I thank them. All opinions are mine.

Race- compete with another or others to see who is fastest at covering a set course or achieving an objective.

2.5 stars from me. I like it when you have time to be connected with the characters before the romance starts. All of the characters seem flat to me. I get that it is a short story, but I still think it could have been a lot better. I did not like the writing style at all. There were random similes and metaphors that didn’t make sense. It could be funny at times, but it seemed like all the funny puns and jokes were at the serious parts. The romance was weird too. It started off them not knowing each other and then in ten minutes they were madly in love. The racing wasn’t very exciting or had any tension for it being a race.

I did like that the book was clean and had some biblical principles. I also thought the racing puns were a nice touch. For example: a crashing kiss, heart rate from 0 to 60, heart racing…

Thank you Book Sirens for the free arc and the author. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This book is part of the multi author series: Sweet sports kisses.
In this story we follow Ryder a race car driver who’s past some people just can’t let go of and Blake who loves cars and racing but is being tied down by her Father.

Personal thoughts:
First of all, the redemption in this story made my heart sing.

I loved how Madison Love portrayed Ryder’s story as he tried to break free from his past. It made me think about my own life and the ways I have judged others based of what I have seen and heard without really getting to know or understand the person underneath all the stories people tell about them.

I am also really happy we get to see the Baggersville Biddies in this story too. I have really grown fond of those ladies (yes I am aware that they exist only through pen and paper but that’s real enough for me).

All in all, I loved this story and literally did not put it down from start to finish.

Thank you to the author, Madison Love, for an ARC of Be still my racing heart. All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.

First question that I have is who is the mysterious race car driver and by the end of the book you should be able to answer this all important question. But it is all a mystery. He or she always wears his helmet and never takes it off. What surprises will we find under the racing helmet?

I love how you incorporated this book with the Beanbaggers gang. This love story between Blake and Ryder is so sweet and this book is really good. I highly recommend it to all of you and I know you are going to love this book, I sure did.

Blake wants to be a race car driver but her dad wants her to run the company for him. So since she can not have her dream come true right now she helps kids chase their dreams. And one day she collides with Ryder and he convinces her to follow her dreams. She is afraid if she does it will cost her dearly and her family will want nothing to do with her if she goes against her dad's wishes.

Ryder and Blake fall into love very fast and she roots him on with his racing career while waiting for her chance or does she?

I always enjoy Madison Love's books because they always feature an organization that the main characters support. Ryder is a race car driver and has a bad reputation. His sponsor insists he has to participate in Let's Play it Forward that mentors young people through sports. It is where he meets his best friend's sister, Blake for the first time.

The interactions with the kids and Ryder are special. Blake is the main driver of the organization. Her father, Randall is the head of the company that sponsors Ryder. Sparks are there with Ryder and Blake but lots of outside situations challege them (among them is Randall).

Turns out that Ryder is related to one of the biddies from Baggerville (the cornholers town). I really like that Madison brings these characters together in this story.

Get ready for a racing good story that you will enjoy.

Racing for Love . . .

Blake Morrison has been groomed by her family with the expectation that she would take over her father’s company one day, but her own dreams push her toward racing fast cars. In the meantime, she volunteers at an organization that mentors kids who have their own dreams to nurture. When professional racecar driver Ryder Stone is assigned community service after a crash on the track, he works through the Play It Forward Foundation to work with kids interested in sports, which is where he meets his friend’s sister, Blake. Is it possible for Blake and Ryder to figure out how to successfully maintain their own dreams of racing and also pursue a relationship with each other? Or will they need to give up one of those pursuits? The story is well-written and the characters likable (mostly) to keep the reader invested in eagerly following their story.

This is an entertaining clean romcom. I’ve never been really interested in car racing, but the story was really cute. Ryder has made a name for himself in the car racing industry. That’s saying a lot since he was raised by a father and a grandfather that stole cars and were part of a gang. When he was just a young boy, he was pulled into the family business. Finally when he had had all he could take, he turned his father in to the police. But his love for cars and fast racing never died. Blake is the daughter of the man who gave Ryder a chance. She is destined to become the CEO this multimillion dollar business of her father. I love the connection that these two had and the story of how they came together for a good cause and found love along the way. It really is an intriguing book with great messages to incorporate into daily living. And also a few twists and turns!

Nice companion to the Cornhole County series, with the romance, the predicament surrounding it (plot twist at the end of Chapter 13!), the Play It Forward idea, more of Ryder’s backstory, and a realistic view of the options available to kids after high school.

(I still love the Biddies’ humour 😂, especially the conversation about buttons.
Also, I agree with Trevor. Algebra is the worst!)

I love how each novella in the Sweet Sports Kisses series has something fresh, fun and different to enjoy alongside another sport I don't usually see covered in a romance.

Be Still My Racing Heart was a good "unexpected romance" story with a side of light mystery. Racecar driver, Ryder finally met his best friend's sister, Blake, when he's forced to volunteer at the Play It Forward organisation to repair his reputation. I was rooting for him from the beginning because Ryder was determined to show that he could rise above the negatives and get what he wanted, a win on the track and Blake. I really liked this couple and how they approached life. They supported each other and faced struggles head-on. Also, it was nice to see them mentoring and supporting young people in various ways.

This is the second book by Madison Love that I've read. Her storylines pull me in and the characters are relatable. This was also my introduction to characters from The Beanbaggers of Cornhole County. I will certainly check out this series sometime.

I read an ARC sent by the author. Thanks to Madison Love for writing this story.

this book was amazing. I love a good clean romance. I must say this was more clean than Christian. Madison writes the best sweet Christian romance but this one was just plain romantic. I'm thinking because ryder was a reformed bad boy. but once you understand why he had the image and his real story you see the real him. I think Blake was a very enjoyable character. Madison told her story well and truthfully her baggage was more due to her perceived wealth than an entitled rich girl. Madison made Blake very down to earth hard working and driven. she developed a very likeable female character without toxic behaviors as a lot of the females in today's society.
I enjoyed the side characters from baggersville and of course the biddies.
if you enjoy sweet clean romance this is your read!

ARC Review ✨️

♡Blake & Ryder♡

Ryder's a Nascar driver trying to escape his past. Unfortunately, his past sneaks back up on him, and now he's stuck doing community service.

Blake is stuck under her father's thumb, running his company instead of chasing down her own dreams. She daydreams of what she actually wants to do instead. Until she meets Ryder, and the truth hits her. If she doesn't take control of her life now, it's just going to waste away even more.

I loved this story so much, and I especially love how previous characters from another series showed up! Madison's writing is so good, and I always love diving into her books.

Thanks so much to the author and booksprout for the ARC!

Be Still My Racing Heart is a clean, heartwarming, rivals to more, sports, romantic comedy. I loved this well written book about Blake, a talented woman who wants to race cars rather than be the aspiring CEO of her father's company, and Ryder, a race driver forced into community service with the Play It Forward organization. This novella has a lot of spunk and depth for a sorter work. The characters are well presented. I love the concepts of the Play It Forward and BeanBaggers of Cornhole County organizations. I enjoyed watching Blake and Ryder work through their personal situations and their growing attraction. There is more than a little drama and some sabotage of the race cars to keep reader interest engaged. I raced through the book and cannot wait to read it again - it is that good!

Part of the lovely Sweet Sports Kisses Series, this book will get your heart racing for Blake and Ryder. Fast cars, secret identities and falling for your Brothers best friend all wrapped up in this sweet closed door romance. Instant attraction with a meet cute for them both although Blake was already drooling over Mr Tall, Dark and Handsome before officially meeting him. This story is about both Ryder and Blake trying to break free from their respective molds prove to the outside world who they really are - not the playboy and not just Daddy’s little girl. Great quick read.

I voluntarily reviewed a free advance copy of this book provided by the author. The opinions expressed are my own

This book doesn't disappoint! We get to see Ryder, who we first saw in Baggersville helping Elise make Ace jealous, star in his own story! I loved that while this has spin-off vibes from our amazing Baggersville bunch with Cornhole for A Cause, we get to see cameos of our fav characters from past books and a new charity that was introduced at the end of the last book. Our FMC, Blake is spunky! She's completely amazing and helps out at the new charity we learn about called Play It Forward. I love these charities! These two main characters are so much more than what is on the surface and they both see it in each other. I love how they help each other and others see the positive, work hard, have faith, and just focus on truly seeing people for who they are and not who others say they are. These books are always so uplifting and this one doesn't disappoint!

Everyone thinks of Ryder Stone as a bad boy. He meets Blake Morrison when he runs into her in front of Play it Forward. She is supposed to help turn his image around. We first met Ryder in the Beanbaggers series, I’m glad he got his own book. Loved how Blake saw his true self from the beginning. Also how Ryder stuck up for Blake with her father. They have so much chemistry and such a wonderful story, I loved it. Really liked the Trevor and Mina characters and seeing the Beanbaggers and Biddies again. A clean heartwarming story by Madison Love.

Delightful story that is sure to put a smile on your face!! This book is part of the Sweet Sports Kisses series, a multi-author sports romance series that is connected through the Play It Forward organization, but all books can be enjoyed as standalones and in any order. Ryder and Blake’s story is full of laughter and fun moments, as well as swoony moments and also some angst and hard decisions that need to be made. There’s a strong faith thread woven through the story but it’s not preachy. This is a quicker read and is very well written. The characters have depth and you’ll find yourself cheering them on. This book is also tied to Madison Love’s Beanbagger’s series, and some of the characters from it make an appearance in this story as well. I loved the book and definitely recommend it!! I read an advanced reader copy ebook, all thoughts and opinions are honest and my own.

Great addition to the Sweet Sport Kisses series this one by Madison Love.
Fun story with some unexpected twists.
Ryder is a race car driver on the verge of losing his sponsor.
Blake is his sponsor’s daughter and future owner of the business. His only chance is being a mentor at her pet project, Play It Forward.
He’s been frustrated with the new driver, Reggie, that is a formidable opponent but refuses to talk, shake hands or even remove his helmet after a race.

I am grateful to have received an advance reader copy for free and I am leaving this review voluntarily having finished the book.

We follow Ryder & Blake as they navigate family pressures to both achieve what they hope to! Ryder, NASCAR driver with a chequered history & Blake, chained to a desk on the route to the top in the family firm but with dreams of driving herself.

Overall, this was pleasant & easy to read as a clean romance, with Christian values as a prominent theme. Some aspects fell a little into the “underdeveloped” category with misunderstandings instantly being forgiven, but for an unchallenging read, this’ll do you fine!

This was such a cute addition to the sweet sports kisses series. Ryder- a driver with a not so great history falls for his best friends sister. Who also happens to be the daughter of his sponsor. No one thinks he’s good enough for her- including himself but Blake is out to prove him wrong. I love Blake’s fierceness and loyalty from the beginning. I loved the twists and turns - some expected and some unexpected. The ending was unexpected and a perfect ending.
