At the ripe age of seven, I penned my first epic, complete with stick figure illustrations. Sadly, my drawing skills haven't improved much, but my love of creating fantasy worlds is still going strong.
Yep, I still love writing about fairies, ghosts, and other supernatural creatures, only my stories pack a little more heat these days.

I currently reside in Michigan with my husband and overgrown lapdog. I'm a member of Romance Writers of America and Greater Detroit Romance Writers of America.

When I'm not writing or working the day job, I'm usually tinkering in the garden (weather permitting) or drooling over those smokin' hot Winchester Brothers from Supernatural. Strictly for research purposes, of course.

Perfect Chemistry is book one in the Kinky Chronicles series by Jodi Redford.

Leo Martinez and Devlin (Dev) Hawke are scientists and are on the brink of a huge revelation. They are working on a new elixir or aphrodisiac that will help women everywhere achieve the big O. But there is still something missing in their data. About a year and a half ago they hired Sidney Chase as a PA and she is perfect for the job. The problem is that ever since they hired her, they have both had a thing for her. She is in their thoughts and dreams constantly. And yes, if you guessed it, Leo and Dev like to share their women. They mutually agreed, though, not to let her know their feelings. They don’t want to scare her off.



Sidney has most definitely not had good luck in love. Ever since she started at Phenom Laboratories, she has had a huge crush on her two bosses. They have both been part of her nightly fantasies. But they are her bosses. So that’s all it will ever be, fantasies. One night when she was at work after hours, she brazenly went into the lab when no one was there. One klutzy move and she was exposed to one of the viles of serum. My oh my was it effective. Little did she know that everything that happened after that was caught on security tape. Her little secret is out.



This book was so cute. Sid was so adorable. She was determined that she could never mean anything to her bosses. And her bosses were sexy as heck and very determined to convince Sid to be theirs once they discovered she was in to them. And of course, there is plenty of MFM hotness, all in the name of science of course.

I really enjoyed this one and can’t wait to continue on with the series with book two, Kinky Claus, which will be Sid’s friend Marissa’s story.

This book wasn’t the best. It could have been better on the storyline part of it. There was good erotic scenes in here but like I said it was kind of a downfall with the plot.

I know this book isnt long like a novel but rather a short story, but could have been more effort put into it to make it a good short story all around.

Overall it was ok. 4.0 star rating.

I have a few Jodi Redford books on my Mt.TBR but haven't gotten around to reading them yet as they are holiday-themed and everytime I stuble upon them I'm not in the mood to read x-mas themed books. By coincidence I happened upon the blurb for this book about a week before it released and decided I had to get it on release day...and so it happened.

Having a few requested review books on the list I bumped it down the list a bit but after 2 obligatory reads this book was screaming at me to read it because I just can't resist the combination of an office romance and a ménage. Add to that the two science geek heroes and I was a goner and just had to start reading.

I missed a bit of emotional intensity except at the very end but that was made up for by the humor and the super-hot sex scenes. Before I knew it, I was done with this yummy book! And that wasn't just because it was just over a 100 pages. I would easily have loved to continue for a 100 more pages of Leo, Devlin and Sidney.

I immediately clicked with the writing and the characters. I especially loved the banter between Sidney and her friends Jane and Marissa. I like it when authors educate me on the sexy stuff and Jodi Redford definitely did that! I won't elaborate as to not spoil it for those who will read this book but let's just say I'm no rookie when it comes to reading ménages in romance and I still learned there's DP as I know it and then there's DP Leo and Devlin-style!

Memorable Scenes:
- the one with Sidney and her friends at lunch > hilarious
- the one in the lab with the worktable and the toys > *fans self*

This book started off with Sidney daydreaming about her bosses once again Devlin & Leo. Both are exstremly hot and are not your normal geeky guys. She is constantly imagining all the naughty thing they can do to her but she still just says nothing and keep dreaming about it instead.
Devlin and Leo have the same problem they are insanely attracted to Sidney but don't do anything about it. Instead they continue to fantasize about her and it still goes no where. How does 3 people get around all this crazy Chemistry and Let the Chemistry take over. For me It drives me nuts all this going back and forth between the 3.
Then one Night Sidney Loss her wallet went back to work and ended up breaking something that Devlin and Leo were working on . Now she is going to face the music and Hopefully not lose her job!
I have to say I loved this book it offered you so much hot steam experiments. Made you want to be the lab assistant and join their experiement! This book offered you romance, witty humor from the girls, and steamy hot sizzling sex scenes. The question is ? Did Sidney end up with Devlin & Leo or did they go their own ways ?

This was a very short, quick and easy read. It was nothing of substance and required very little thought. I think I read this book in one sitting probably in less than an hour.

The main characters are Sidney, Devlin and Leo. Sidney is a girl working for Devlin and Leo having very explicit fantasies about them and wishing they would do something about it. Devlin and Leo share everything and are researching a highly potent drug which is supposed to help people orgasm but doesn't yet have the desired effects except from on Sidney. All three of them are perfect for each other but are scared of the long term committment.

There are only two other secondary characters Sidney's best friends but they weren't in it a lot and I think the other books in the series will focus on them.

The storyline is pretty much non exsistant but is perfect for a mindless read that is quick to read. The pacing is OK although there is no need to have any pacing because we all knew what was going to happen.

Heh. Oh, Jodi Redford. You know how I like my geeks, don't you? Hunky and horny. *slow thumbs up* And let's face it, I always appreciate a lady who grabs onto her sexuality with both hands and gives it a good ride. So to speak.

So. Two smart, hot dudes and the lady who they fantasize about. To be fair, she fantasizes plenty about them, too. PLENTY. In all ways and all places. And once they catch her under the influence of their aphrodisiac, all bets are off.

As it turns out, it's hard to shake the visual of Sidney pleasuring herself once they've seen it in frantic detail.

As always, Jodi Redford brings the steam while delivering a fun storyline. Sidney, Leo and Dev hit the sheets and they hit them hard. And then they hit them again. With toys. Niiiiiice.

This book was a guilty pleasure of mine.

The story was short and "Holy Hell" erotic.
There isn't much character or story development, but the characters are likable and the story is just plain smut. (Like I said, guilty pleasure)
I really liked it!

If you're looking for a fast, light, erotic, no-brainer read.. this might tickle your fancy.

Lots of sexy fun! Needed to be longer. I don't normally read books this short and prefer MMF to MFM, but I sometimes bend the rules for an author I like as much as Ms. Redford.

One of the quotes I liked. Leo orders Dev to strip down which prompts Sidney to say "D-do you always talk to him like that?" Leo shrugged from his shirt. "Yes, and he fucking likes it, so don't believe his whining to the contrary."

So the romance genre has gotten kind of stale for me in the past two years or so and these menage books keep popping up on my Bookbub. There were a few that had interesting story lines but somehow they always seem to fall short. It seems as though the authors haven’t really thought outside the box with three-way sex so the steamy scenes tend to be redundant. This one is no different.

Okay, so Sidney works for two guys that are best friends and co-own a pharmaceutical company where they are inventing sexy potions that get ladies in the mooooooooood and Sidsters accidentally imbibes and…well you get the idea. Yeah, this is essentially a book version of one of those pornos that tries to wedge a story in between the sex scenes, forgetting that dialogue isn’t exactly a pornstar’s forte.

Anywho, I like Sidney’s character and I like her interactions with her friends. This reads kind of like a Stephanie Plum novel but instead of going after bail-jumpers, she’s getting boned by best friends. The story doesn’t take itself seriously at all. It’s goofy and fun. The author bends over backwards woof! to be as inoffensive and female friendly as possible. I especially like this as there’s a lot of menage romance that doesn’t do that and it ends up really gross and rapey.

The author also is very clear that these best friends are no-homo. I thought that was a bit disappointing as it would make more sense for two best friends who want to share a girlfriend and boink her at the same time to be at least a little bi-curious. However they are not and it’s a missed opportunity for more creative sex scenes. Oh well.

Overall, it’s a decent book. It’s not bad and I like the derpy humor.

This was a very steamy story. Of course, with three people involved, it would be hard to keep it unsteamy. :-)

Sidney has been in love with her bosses, Leo and Dev, since she started working for them. She's been fantasizing about them both, but she's sure they'll never give her the time of day. Little does she know that they have been lusting after her for just as long, but they're afraid their unconventional sharing habit will chase her away. Until she accidentally spills the aphrodisiac elixir they have been working on, it affects her very strongly, and her reactions are all caught on security footage. Oh, and she cries out Leo's and Dev's names as she's climaxing. Which gives Leo and Dev the invitation they needed to go for what everyone apparently wanted. But they're not clear with her up front what their long-term plans are for her, and she can't imagine it'll be forever... so signals get crossed and then uncrossed and everyone ends up happy.

A steamy, incredibly hot read about a young woman who fantasizes over her two bosses until one day her fantasies become reality.

The only thing that kept me from giving this book 4 stars was the shortness; it's less than 100 pages and at 85% the book is over and the remainder is filled with previews and blurbs about other books. There was so much more that the author could have written about including what happened after the drug sold, how did these 3 make it work long term, did they take their relationship public and if so how did their employees react? So many options but the author ended it very abruptly instead.

I'm a definite Jodi Redford fan. She hooked me tight with That Voodoo You Do (That Old Black Magic, #1) and kept me there ever since. This story while a bit short, is sexy, entertaining and a fantasy come true for many fans of the genre that enjoy menage with romance and true love (oh and some great kinky sex). We can't forget that!

Perfect Chemistry is different from the others that I've read from this author, which is great, but it left me wanting much more. Which is not necessarily a bad thing ;)
As always, I look forward to more by her and her sexy alpha males...

I've always loved Jodi Redford and was thrilled to see this book's premise.
This book is VERY VERY HOT and the sex is perfectly done. It's a menage which is one of my favorite types to read.
Ms. Redford also delivers on the emotion. I love Sidney as a character and her friends are hilarious. There were so many places that I laughed out loud.
This is a feel good make you happy book that did the trick for me.

It was just ok. Nothing to rant about. The sexy scenes were good, but not very descriptive...kinda gloss over on the good parts. Most of the books were about Sidney fantasizing about the Leo and Devlin instead of their relationship. Also, what was the point of her friend's drama? Is this there going to be a sequel? That part was a bit confusing to me...I didn't think it really added to the storyline.

This is my first time reading one of Jodi's books. I love her style of writing, she had me cracking up several times. Dev and Leo both sounded sexy, and truly passionate.....especially for Sidney. Sidney's fantasies were beyond arousing. How was she able to not act on her needs for a year and a half? They all three were perfect together and completely sexy. The book left me wanting more, and I love books like that!

I wasn't expecting a 5 star read for a 100 page novella but this just didn't do it for me, the writing could be considered a bit "cringe" at times, buuut it was released 10 years ago so honestly it's probably how most people spoke at the time.
There were a few typos I noticed here and there.
I feel like there was far too much detail in regards to Sidneys fantasies of having Leo and Devlin but when it came to the scenes of them together it was rushed and quite anticlimactic. One thing that was quite off putting was this little bit "Instead he just blocked out the realization that he was about to have his mouth that up close and personal with a dude’s junk...Dev took that as his cue to remove his mouth. He didn’t care how good of friends they were. No way in hell he was hanging around for a bird’s eye view while Leo shot his load."
1. There's been mention of them sharing partners in the past so I highly doubt it would be the first time they had been in that situation- also they were both using protection so its not like there would be bodily fluids.
2. It wouldn't have been a birds eye view because that would be from above whereas Devlin was on his knees... I've just googled and apparently it would actually be called a "worms eye view"
3. It didn't add anything to the scene, it could definitely have been cut.

Hey guys, so I finished Perfect Chemistry (Kinky Chronicles #1) by Jodi Redford. This was a completely adult, mature audience, smut book. It was great. It had a lot of adult scenes and they were hot as hell. SO detailed and so intense, enough to make you squirm and more. Goodness this was a good stress reliever. If you ever need to unwind, read this. Two sexy as sin men...one girl with wild fantasies that become reality...mmm..damn this was a good book. It also had some other things beside just sex, like loyalty and friendship and a mental breakdown when she thought the worst. I can completely understand why she had that moment even without that many hints...you dont have to have hints, your overactive mind just does it for you, it is really cruel, making a mountain out of not even a whisk of dust. **sighs**, especially when you learn the truth and it soothes your soul. So yeah, good enough characters, not all that rounded but who cares, you're not readng this stuff for great character dvelopment. Like I said, the writing was nice and detailed when needed, but sparse when not. So overall, good read, very stimulating. I cannot really say that much more about it...till next time, bye.
