Me sigue sorprendiendo que este manga me guste tanto, porque a la larga es un estilo de dark romance. Pero qué quieren que haga, está bien escrito, el arte es impresionante y, aunque me cueste aceptarlo, Shinpei ahora me cae simpático.

When I thought that the arc was almost finished. I was reading another secret that did not make any sense.
So all the trouble that Satoko had was because she did not choose a man to marry? Very weak subplot.
She could have died or worse. She was too precious for the Kirigaya family to be use so reckless to invent a drama.
I did like that her step mother hated her and wanted her to disapear, that would so much better if had been more elaborated.
And the new guy in the last chapters just made everything without meaning. Suddenly there is a son of a duke that is interested in her? Why her father did not invited this influenced family to their house? He has connections.

I don't believe that Satoko is sick, she is probably been poised by her clan. She was sick when younger but not anymore.

I started reading this series because I was bored and I thought the concept was cool I’m sobbing my eyes out the ending broke my heart I will never ever never trust a romance manga series with a similar concept again (I will) because I refuse to fall into this same trap again (I’m going to go waste my entire paycheck and buy the series I’ve already read at Barnes and noble) edit: this is why I hate straight people

Sono l'unica alla quale il cliffhanger finale non ha convinto per niente? Il vero mandante del rapimento sarebbe il padre di Satoko, il quale voleva che la figlia sposasse Nitobe sin dall'inizio? Ma se così fosse, perché non obbligarla e basta, invece di permetterle di ricevere (e rifiutare) dozzine di proposte di matrimonio? Spero che l'intera faccenda venga chiarita meglio nei prossimi volumi, perché per ora sembra totalmente campata per aria.

encuentro que la autora se sacó todo el plot twist del culo, no tiene ningún sentido que el papá expusiera a satoko a tanto peligro sabiendo que tiene mil problemas de salud. Me molesta también el hijo del duque que también salió de la mismísima NADA, pero de igual forma no me molestaría que Satoko terminase con él. Lástima que Shinpei volvió a realizar sus matanzas de siempre, aunque es esperable considerando que es un asesino.

Un sogno sta prendendo forma, ma rischia di finire in pezzi fin da subito.
Questo ottavo volume è stato molto intenso: a prendere il centro della scena è la dichiarazione di Satoko, ormai sicura dei propri sentimenti; la sua volontà di costruire una vita tranquilla, ma serena, una relazione in grado di rendere felici entrambi, non solo lei - una relazione capace di regalare qualcosa anche a Shinpei (uno che, per via del tipo di vita che ha avuto, non si è mai concesso troppo tempo per pensare a sentimenti come la felicità o altro, e che non ha mai avuto a che fare con qualcuno desideroso di dimostrargli sincero affetto). Dopo l'iniziale shock di Shinpei, i due iniziano a fare progetti e a dare forma al loro sogno...peccato che questo sogno sembri avere vita breve, visto che sull'isola fa la comparsa il padre di Satoko, il capofamiglia del clan Kirigaya. L'uomo che la nostra protagonista vorrebbe rendere fiero di lei, l'uomo che di fatto ha avallato il piano della matrigna, in modo da incastrarla in un matrimonio con un uomo ricco e rispettato. Una merda, insomma. Anche perché, prima di conoscere Shinpei, anche la povera Satoko aveva quell'obiettivo, in modo da poterlo ripagare per le cure ricevute e per i problemi causati dal suo stato di salute precario. La ragazza voleva trovarsi un buon partito per farlo felice. Quindi resta da capire per quale motivo il vecchio abbia deciso di comportarsi così. È evidente che non ha alcuna intenzione di accettare il legame tra Shinpei e Satoko, e le cose potrebbero mettersi molto male per tutte le persone coinvolte.
Insomma, direi che la storia ha preso una piega piuttosto interessante e sono curiosa di vedere la reazione di Satoko quando scoprirà tutta la verità.

C'est un nouveau coup de coeur pour le septième tome de la série Les noces des lucioles ! On ne s'ennuie pas une seule seconde tant le rythme se révèle effrené. Il se passe plein de choses, la relation entre nos héros évolue et l'histoire prend une toute autre envergure. En premier lieu, l'arc autour de Asagiri se clôture dès les premières planches après une scène d'action incroyablement bien dessinée par Oreco Tachiban. Ce dernier n'a pas son pareil pour illustrer la délicatesse des expressions humaines. Pour en revenir au récit en lui-même, notre attachement envers les protagonistes secondaires se renforce et on comprend aisément les tourments de Satoko. En effet, plus rien ne retient son départ de l'île maintenant que son marché lié à Asagiri ne tient plus. Pour autant, même s'il s'agit du but qu'elle poursuit depuis le début, elle a fini par s'attacher aux habitants de l'île, tout comme nous... On ne peut que compatir face à ce qu'elle ressent et admirer sa force de caractère. Un aspect qu'apprécie particulièrement Shinpei et on comprend pourquoi ! Ces deux-là s'ouvrent encore plus l'un à l'autre en partageant leur histoire et leurs sentiments respectifs. Dans ces moments, les pages défilent à une allure presque frénétique tant on est pris par le cours de l'histoire. Les rapprochements de Shinpei et Satoko ont de quoi nous réjouir ! Pour autant, en parallèle, l'étau se resserre et les enjeux du complot contre notre héroïne s'intensifient jusque dans les dernières planches... La révélation finale a de quoi nous étourdir et nous rendre impatient à l'idée de lire la suite. Une chose est certaine : Les Noces des Lucioles s'illustre comme une série à succès, prenante et poignante avec des personnages originaux et atypiques, ainsi qu'une romance déroutante qui nous tient en haleine de tome en tome, et par ailleurs, l'intrigue ne manque pas de surprises. A présent, une question se pose : jusqu'où le récit va-t-il nous mener ? Pour cela, il va falloir patienter jusqu'à la sortie du prochain volume en juillet 2026... Encore un peu de patience et on pourra découvrir le nouvel arc prometteur des Noces des Lucioles.

Shinpei open up about his background to Satoko. How his life was miserable and unwanted by people sourrounding him. No wonder when he met Satoko, his life was meaningful and brightful. Now, he can tolerate with other people. Satoko finally gathers the courage to confess her feelings to Shinpei. The way they talked about their dreaming future lighten up the mood. However, the truth revealed at the end of the volume... It broke my heart. I hope this manga will have a good ending.

Dopo un'immensa gioia arriva il dolore più grande. L'autrice ci ha regalato un momento romantico bellissimo (non senza una punta di costante inquietudine), ma a che prezzo!
Comunque me lo sentivo che era LUI a muovere i fili di tutto, avevo questo sospetto fin dall'inizio! Ma perché spingersi a tanto? Era necessario far provare un dolore del genere alla propria figlia solo per farla sposare da un buon partito? Sono esterrefatta.

Estoy impactada por un momento todo estaba bien ella por fin le dijo que lo ama, se besaron y comenzaron a planear como seria su vida marital y de la nada PUMMM que fue el padre que orquestó todo, tipo QUEEEEE
Como mierda fue ese viejo todo calvo que mando a su hija a esa isla y para el colmo le dispara a Shinpei, a kotarou y los aleja a los dos 🤬

Un tome très dynamique qui donne une grande avancée à l'histoire !

Il était vraiment très agréable à lire, la relation entre Satoko et Shinpei est adorable malgré le côté assassin.
L'histoire avance là où j'avais peur que ça stagne et j'ai hâte de lire le prochain tome !

Certaines cases et doubles pages sont sublimes !

I always knew this manga was shaping up to be a tragedy (fireflies symbolising a fleeting life in Japan), but it was still sad to get such a heavy hint of it in this volume :(
