Definitely a hawt story with compelling characters.
When I first started reading, I had made up my mind that I wouldn't like Piper. I mean, like at all. However, as layers of her personality and backstory started to be revealed I grew to like her and even felt sorry for her -- especially when she found out able Sailor after giving her heart to him.
And Ryder. Dear sweet, dominant, and jealous Ryder. What's a guy to do when he falls in love with a stripper? Beat anyone who deins to look at her. Ryder has comes into the relationship with his own baggage. He suffered a cheating ex that broke his trust in the most devastating manner.
So, how do they make it work?
Well Piper seems to be the Yin to Ryder's Yang. Where he is dominant, she is submissive, although she fights it. Ryder breaks down Piper's walls but she, in turn, does the same for him.
The last 10% of the story will leave you biting your nails and feeling murderous at the same time. I was happy to see things resolve in the manner that they did but I was sweating bullets for a minute there.
There are lots of steamy interludes in this one.

Sexed Into Submission. It does what it says on the tin.
Ryder and Piper don't do love anymore. For Piper, it means being weak. For Ryder, it's a potential world of emotional pain - not the kind of pain he enjoys.
Well. Those two coming together surely purely be about sex, right?
The tension and chemistry between them is undeniable. But that's exactly what they both, initially, try to do.
Ryder realises his efforts to remain neutral where Piper is concerned are futile and changes his approach to full guns blazing. He soon realises that he loves her. Irrefutably.
Eventually, Piper catches up and their union - although not without flaws and hitches - joins beautifully. They are each the missing piece to the other's puzzle.
Masked in BDSM and a whole load of sexual tension is a storyline and a good one including family issues, previous partners (of the D/s persuasion) causing trouble and the general new relationship/ownership jealousies playing out.
A desirable ending and one I was happy with surprisingly after such an anti-love beginning to insta-love to their HEA. Quick read for anyone liking their hot scenes and this as their leading man -

Super Sexy. This book took my breath away and almost my panties too. :-) This fast paste fun sexy book is simply amazballs.
Ryder is one sexy man. He is protective and possessive. He wants Piper and he is willing to do anything to make her his. He wants to own her and he won't accept no for an answer.
Piper refuses to be owned by another man ever again. Sick of being hurt she pushes men away. But when she comes close to Ryder she just can't help herself. The way he talks, he whispers sweet words in Spanish, melts her panties every time.
But they both have a past and just as things are starting to heat up for these two, the past comes back to tear them both apart.

This was a great, quick read that I could not put down! I love the main characters and the way they interact with each other! Piper is a beautiful, sexy, strong-willed woman who knows how to use what she's blessed with to get what she wants. I'm happy to see a female character who is a sexual submissive, but not weak by any means. She's been hurt and the one thing she knows she doesn't want is an emotional attachment, so when she meets Ryder and the sparks fly, she knows it's just his Dom qualities igniting her natural submissiveness. Ryder has also been burned and he's certainly not wanting more than hot, kinky sex with a beautiful sub. What he doesn't expect is to be attracted to the other side of Piper, the strong, sassy, non-compliant woman who challenges him. I really loved Ryder, even though he could be infuriating with his power trips, This story moves quickly and totally holds your attention.

Sexed into Submission is something completely new from Julie Bailes.
This story is about Piper & Ryder, Piper is a sexy stripper who feels love is for fairy Tales and uses her body to gain money and power over males and females. Ryder is building his life back up after a failed marriage. He joins his brother Dean to run the exclusive stripper club and falls for Piper immediately.
Sexed into Submission is very hot, the sex scenes are explosive and Julie draws you into the heat of Piper & Ryder.
I was gripped to this book and read within a day, the story contains some brilliant twists and turns.
A well written book that flowed perfectly.
I am looking forward to more in this series, getting to know how Piper & Ryder build their life together and also seeing where Julie takes the other amazing character's.

They both have ex's who can't seem to stay away and walls around their hearts. The last few pages of this book will have you on the edge of your seat screaming at your kindle. The pages before that are filled with steamy scenes that leave you with an Urge to be tied up and flogged.

HOLY HOTNESS!!!! Ryder and Piper are amazing. The story is steamy hot and has an amazing story line. I couldn't get enough and couldn't put it down. Even though the sex was amazing in this book, there was more to it than that. These characters have gone through a lot and continue to work through issues within the book that makes the story grip you and it doesn't want you to let go. Great job Julie!!!!

Holy hot BDSMness. I didn't care for Piper at first, she was such a whore but she grew on me quickly. Sailor was terrifying! Ryder was super sexy and the Spanish bits wer HOT!!!

I liked this book but I think it might be better served with a different title. It briefly touches on some pretty extreme bdsm, particularly near the end. This book contains abduction and torture, use of drugs and drawing of blood. It definitely falls on the dark side for me.

I enjoyed the story over all. Though I don't care to read a lot of misspelled words once a story is published. I think Ryder is a Dom wannbe who beats his subs till they bleed and then doesn't do aftercare to teach her a lesson so she will be in more pain and remember it? What about infection? So unreal. And why is it always about damaged women? Woman who think they have to be beaten to get the attention they need? A father who ignored her for his whores. So she thinks she has to do these things to get love. And Ryder telling her if she ever uses the safe word it is over, so he beats her till she bleeds and she won't safe word because she is afraid he won't love her. Sick, Sick Sick that's what a safe word is about learning your boundaries not allowing someone to beat you till you are bloody. Oh and yea she goes and strips the day after? Like how is she to hide these marks Ryder left on her thighs and buttocks in a string bikini? And the whole ex thing was left just hanging. Did he not report her being on drugs with a child in the home? This could have been such a better story.

I loved reading this story. Reading about a female being independent and her own woman, but willing to give in for the right man is a beautiful thing. I understand being cautious and not wanting to get hurt, but the stupid mistakes and misunderstandings suck. I loved how everything between Piper and Ryder is realistic and yet fanciful at the same time. This was a really sweet naughty read.

H.O.T. The heat in this book was off the charts! But beneath the heat was a story of finding love for another and loving yourself. Different from this authors other books but definitely a good story and enjoyable read.

I enjoyed this story for what it was. Very erotic and sexy. Very in your face steam from the start and perhaps surprising submission from a woman who takes life by the horns and drags it where she wants it. There were definitely high points, suspense and intrigue in this story.

Everyone’s strengths are tested in this new suspenseful Erotica by Julie Bailes.
If you’ve read any of Julie’s books, strap yourself into your seat because you have not seen anything yet. You haven’t even touched half of what she’s capable of. This book completely blew me out of the water, and I’m a huge fan of Jules.
Ryder is a Spanish speaking, hot-to-trot Dom that lives the lifestyle. Until he has a run in with an employee. One run in sets his blood a flame, her feisty and stubbornness may be what breaks through his dominant control.
Piper was owned and betrayed once, she’s determined to not let it happen again. But Ryder’s persistence and green eyes wear down her defenses sooner than she’d like. Soon he’ll flip her world upside down in, what she believes is, the worst possible way.
Even if you think you know, you have no f**king idea. Sexed into Submission is so much more than a Dom and his Sub, it shows you the good side as well as the bad of any Dom/Sub relationship, the bad being the crazy ass nut jobs that inhabit the lifestyle occasionally (no disrespect meant to anyone you’ll understand when you read this book). Ryder is one of those...you can’t help but fall in love with him. The dual perspective for both characters really helps build this story, especially their relationship. Pipers, I hate to love him, I need no man attitudes grates on your nerves every once in a while; but it that much more enjoyable to see Ryder break through her attitude. I say through because that attitude is her wall. He needs to break through that and show her precisely what she needs in order to be what she wants. If that makes any sense. Let us try this instead, her attitude is her armor, Ryder needs to break through that to show her what it is she’s been hiding from herself all along. Not everything in BDSM is bad, some people view it as abuse. And yes, there are a few select people that don’t have complete control or are just unsure of where to proceed, those situations can lead to abuse. But a true Dom knows your body better than you do. They can pleasure you in ways you never thought possible, some may be repulsed by pain and that’s alright. If you are, I wouldn’t suggest reading SIS.
This book is intense, emotional whirlwind, pulling and pushing from pain to pleasure, happiness to sadness. But, you will thoroughly enjoy it, if you’re a fan of BDSM. Yes, there is quite a bit of it in this novel and that’s why I loved it. As soon as you begin reading it you’ll find yourself sucked into Ryder’s world, you’ll not want to put it down. The last few chapters of the book will have you on the edge of your seats. The only issue I had with this is the beginning was a little too fast paced for me, and even that was so inconsequential in the long run, that it didn’t even matter on my ranking. If you want your latest hot, suspenseful, erotic read grab up Julie’s book Sexed into Submission. Your vagina will thank you. As will Julie :)

What's that saying...? Some like it hott?? Well, Julie Bailes most certainly falls into that catagory. Sexed into Submission was so friggen hott... There is no other way to describe it! From word one, this book was lived up to its title but it was so much more. The plot was AMAZING and in pure Julie Bailes styles so left me wanting more when it was over.
Ryder and Piper were the perfect pair. Where one lacked the other made up for it. Their chemistry was almost tangible and when Ryder started whispering his Spanish sweet nothings... WOW... that is absolutely all I can say about that. I loved how Piper put on a tough front but inside she was a typical girl. She, sometimes let her feelings get the best of her and that did put her in some dangerous situations but hey, if I had to deal with some of the things she had to deal with, I would probably react the same way. Ryder's super possessive side was kind of sweet. You could tell that he cared for Piper even when he was "punishing" her. There is so much more I would love to tell you about them but for fear of spoiling something I will stop there.
I fell in love with Julie Bailes writing style during the first book of the Shaken Series (#TeamWyatt) and was so honored when she sent me the ARC for this book. Ok, ok, I totally stalked her facebook through the entire writing process of Sexed into Submission because I just needed more of her writing. Sometimes you find an author who sticks with you and Julie is definitely one of those authors for me!
Between the plot twists, BDSM and love this book seriously took me places I wasn't expecting. I finished it in about 3 hours because I simply could not put it down. Once I was sucked into the world of Ryder and Piper, I didn't want to leave. I hope you guys feel the same way!!

Piper is the main draw at Delectable Desires, a higher end strip club. She’s learned to use her body and sexuality to manipulate men to bend to her will, meaning higher tips and high demand for private parties in the champagne room. She’s thwarted any efforts by her boss Dean for a hookup, seeing him as more of a brotherly figure, but when his brother Ryder comes on board, things take a turn. Ryder is immediately infatuated with Piper and feels protective of her, especially in regards to her ex, Sailor. Sailor, who is married with two kids, won’t leave Piper alone and begins stalking her. But Ryder has his own situation with past relationships. He’s newly divorced and still dealing with an ex that is having trouble accepting the divorce, even though the marriage ended due to her actions.
In addition to being an erotic read, there is also an element of suspense. There is a twist towards the end that will surprise you. There’s definitely a Fatal Attraction vibe from not just one but two characters in the book, making for some tense moments.
Sexed Into Submission was a quick, easy read however I had a hard time connecting with the characters, especially Piper. She seemed over the top with her sexuality in a way that came across as over the top and vapid. I liked Ryder, he was certainly swoon-worthy, but he almost seemed too good for Piper. There is a D/s element that I found a little hard to believe. It was definitely was not hardcore like a lot of other books that I have read and Ryder didn’t seem like a particularly dominant dom. There was little organization to it, it just seemed like rough sex sometimes, rather than a full scene.
If you’re looking for a hot read, you’ll love this one. The fireworks between Piper and Ryder are evident and with Ryder’s penchant for speaking Spanish when he’s in the mood, you’ll need a fan to get you through. This is my first book by Ms. Bailes and certainly not my last, especially if we get to see Dean if there is a continuation of the series.

There is a D/s element that I found a little hard to believe. It was definitely was not hardcore like a lot of other books that I have read and Ryder didn’t seem like a particularly dominant dom. There was little organization to it, it just seemed like rough sex sometimes, rather than a full scene.
If you’re looking for a hot read, you’ll love this one. The fireworks between Piper and Ryder are evident and with Ryder’s penchant for speaking Spanish when he’s in the mood, you’ll need a fan to get you through. This is my first book by Ms. Bailes and certainly not my last, especially if we get to see Dean if there is a continuation of the series.

This was another book that explored the world of BDSM. Unlike the other doms/masters/sirs I've read about, the ever so sexy Ryder was not a tortured soul. He wasn't mean, and you won't hate him. He' wasn't overbearing. He was perfect. Bossy but compassionate. Possessive but not overbearing.

Piper was a strong woman who used her body to get what she wanted. She tried her darnedest to resist him, but eventually, she was sexed into submission. I loved when she first spotted him in the audience and performed just for him. HOT!!!! My two problems with her were her drinking problem and her ex who just so happened to be her first master. Outside of that, I liked her.

5 Sizzling Stars!
I loved this book. Oh boy! It was sinfully delicious and seriously naughty. This book takes you on an emotional roller coaster ride full of ups, downs, twists, and turns that will have you reeling at the end, begging for more (I totally did!). This book had a great, strong storyline with great secondary characters.
This is Ryder and Piper's book. Piper is a stripper but not just any stripper. She is a stripper for the high class men in a remote place where you only know about it from word of mouth. When her boss' brother (who also happens to be her boss too) sees Piper, he knows he has to have her. But Piper doesnt want to be had by anyone, not anymore after being burned. But Ryder is a Dom and he sees a challenge in Piper making her submit to be his sub. Will these two get their happy ending? Or will Piper's catch up with them before it is too late?
I LOVED RYDER! He was the perfection of alpha. He was sweet, kind, sincere, dedicated, naughty, filthy talking, and oh so delicious! I also liked Piper. She was one bad a$$ b!tch! She totally had it going on. I loved her strong attitude and personality. These two together were... EXPLOSIVE! I mean make your panties wet and incinerate hot. They were also perfect for each other and totally fit each other to a T.
And I know this is not a series but I am keeping my finger's crossed for Dean's story and Gemma's story!

Trust me when I say that this book is “Holy Smokes” THAT hot!!!. Erotica's usually aren't my thing but I saw this book and wanted to give it a try.
This has to be the hottest book I've read in a long time. Not only where the sex scenes out of this world but there was a great storyline.
Characters:
Ryder, right off the bat was a force that could not contained. He saw what he wanted and went after it. I loved that Ryder protected whatever was his and he was not afraid to get his hands a little dirty.
I really enjoyed Piper's character. I love it when a heroine is confident, independent and knows what she has and uses it.
Piper is submissive but being so hard strong she gives Ryder a ride of his life and he loves it. I enjoyed that their relationship was so challenging, unique and like every relationship had their ups and downs.
Overall, Sexed into Submission had a very good pace (I couldn't believe it when I was almost done the book in just a few hours of starting it). Most characters were likeable and others you wanted to just make them disappear lol.
The ending of the book had me worry a little bit. I kept watching the % left and thinking ”Oh no” but the author did not disappointment. I am looking forward to reading more about Piper and Ryder. I think there are so many questions left unanswered. Where is Cassianna?

Ryder makes me want to learn Spanish.
Piper was taught early in life that real, true love is hard to find. Both her parents cheated on one another and were never there for her as parents should be. Now she's grown and she's made a lot of money dancing for men and making them beg. She allowed herself to fall for Sailor, but never again. When Ryder struts into her life, Piper realizes she may have just met her match.
Ryder thought he loved Cassi, but he couldn't be someone he's wasn't. He's a Dom and never again will a woman make him pretend to be someone he's not. When Ryder sees Piper dance, especially with her doing it for him, right in front of him, that's it. He knows one way or another, she'll be his.
Both Piper and Ryder are scared of developing feelings for each other, but agree to try and keep their relationship strictly for enjoyment. You can't help what your heart feels though. I wanted Piper and Ryder together so badly. They are absolutely perfect for each other. She is so flippin stubborn and he's so alpha. They butt heads and are so great together. There are some Dom/sub scenes in this book. Nothing that made me uncomfortable, just be prepared. Couple of hiccups regarding their pasts.
Where are these men like Ryder? He's hot, protective, caring, tender and adores Piper. I've never had the desire to learn another language before. These men just don't exist!! Reason enough to read about them and get lost in the story.

OMG…Julie has outdone herself with this book. It is HOT and SEXY! Not to mention that it is also full of suspense and drama! This book was HOT! 10 percent in I was looking over my shoulder at work making sure no one could see what I was reading. (Great place to start it right? :) ) This was actually the first book I've read from Julie Bailes, but I'm on the hunt to read more from her!
Ryder and Piper have had a troubling relationship in the past that has made them untrusting of the opposite sex. However they have needs that need to be met. Though they try to deny their attraction to each other at first, they finally give in to the firey desire they have for each other.
Once they finally give, boy do the pages catch fire from the heat! Seriously ladies, you need to have an extra pair of panties on hand, yours might get a little wet ;) Ryder is one hot DOM!
Soon feelings start to develop and their past starts to come after them, what will they do? Will what they feel for each other help them get through what is coming? Or will the past take back what it thinks it deserves?
This is going to be a book I recommend to all my friends who are interested in a hot read with an amazing plot to go with. Julie does an amazing job of connecting you to the characters and keeping you o the edge of you seat for the entire story. This is definitely a MUST READ!

I have never read by anything by this author. I am not actually sure where it came from. It just showed up on my kindle, but I belong to a lot of review websites. So someone set it to me. IT was a medium read and I have nothing against erotic reads. I only got it recently and did not take me long to read.
This was about Ryder who with someone who wanted him to be someone other than who he was. Who is Ryder a Dom. He believes love is something that is all about emotional pain. That is not the kind of pain that he deals in. Then there is Piper and she has her own view on love and that it is a weakness. She does not want it to be used to against her. Their views on or against love is kind of what drew Ryder and Piper together.

OMG, How to start. ABSOLUTELY HOT AND AROUSING. Melt your panties chemistry right off the bat with Ryder and Piper. It literally jumped off the page and raised my temperature a few degrees.
Ryder is just Effn HAWT. I could see myself getting lost in those bright green eyes and losing my brain around that man among other things, like my panties. From his Alpha/DOM ways to his Sexy mouth speaking Spanish. Mi Amor, Mi vida.

Wowza this was hot! Piper was definitely one of the more "slutty" girls I have read in a while, but I loved her. She fended for herself and took what she wanted. I loved that she was also a sub, yet she held her ground.
Ryder? Hot damn.
That man had me fanning myself. Where can I buy one of him? He was of course, everything I love in a man. Dominant, hard-headed, territorial, alpha, and sexy sexy sexy! My God was he sexy! And when he spoke in a different language?! Holy sh*t!
Honestly this was one of the most fun D/s books I've read in a while and for me that's saying something. For a subject that's being used quite a lot lately, Bailes freshens up the plot and keeps the D/s part
of the story from being the same as the rest. **Insert applause here** I also loved how there was drama in the story without it feeling as if I was watching an episode of Jersey Shore! **Standing ovation here**
Overall, I loved it and I regret keeping it on my TBR list for so long. Don't make my same mistake!
