had a promising plot and characters but execution made me want to go in front of
a firing squad. Paragraphs with seemingly 10+ spacing. Which led to me spacing out for most of the story. Rakish Marquess likes the jilted wallflower, wins her at
a sort of auction. She is hot for him after he pins her against a tree and tempts her with his manliness. He has mommy issues, she has brothers, brief miscommunication, fini 🫠🫡

This is a great story. Diana wants to be left alone after being jilted in public. Her brother and sister take matters into their own hands. James has a reputation as a rake, while Diana is the perfect little lady. You just have to read this book to see what type of deal he makes with her and how it all works out. What starts out as promenades, turns into love. This is a really good story that you don't want to miss.

I loved this story.
This was one of the sweetest love stories of a love that wasn't meant to be. That took them both by suprise. The rake and the spinster are both antagonists. Who have both declared themselves against marriage. Until someone thinks they are just right for each other. I loved this story.

I enjoyed this novel very much. It had great chemistry between the main characters and a great plot. This is one of my favorite Olivia Bennet books I've read in a while. A great page turning regency romance that I was very happy to read.

This story shows how siblings can medal in your life. Diane had a heartbreak in the past and James had a Danish one. Great book with some humor in it. Must read.
