I fell in love with the girl next door in high school. She’s been sleeping in my bed since we were teens, and no one knew a thing. Our parents are so close; they’re family, and that’s the problem.

We’re viewed as family and, therefore, can’t ever be together, or at least that’s what she’s using as an excuse. Her determination to fight our love has caused a drift that the club is starting to notice.

We’ve been attached at the hip since we could walk, and now we can barely stand to be in the same room together. Something needs to change before we both explode and the club becomes collateral damage.

I'm a retired 45-year-old Puerto Rican wife and mother of 3 plus 1 bonus daughter. Originally from NYC, now living a quiet life in the south suburbs of Chicago. I enjoy reading and writing romance and erotic fiction. I'm addicted to coffee, sci-fi, and all things Marvel and Harry Potter.

I was a teen mom with a whole world of statistics against me. Every time I was told I couldn't do something, I did it, took pictures, and smiled with my son on my hip for everyone who ever doubted me.

Now, after finding the love of my life in my thirties, we married in the great 2020 pandemic, which shall not be named. We have a house full of teenagers who don't need mommy anymore, and the hubs is a traveling ER nurse, SO I have found myself with a lot of downtime.


After years of having this story taking space in my head, I decided to share it with the world. Gotta say, this writing gig is HARD. But with some time and grace, I'll get it right.

They grew up together, literally from the day she was born, friends, neighbors, and club kids. When they hit their teens, he enlisted in the service, and went home on leave things changed for them. They were more than friends, but thinking the club would never accept for them being in a relationship they kept it a secret. The longer it’s gone on the more difficult it is for him to reconcile it. He is ready to come clean and claim her, but she is worried how the club will react and if their family will ever be the same. This story is a lot of things and just around 100 pages. It is a tender coming of age story it is a secret pining story, it is the girl/boy next-door story, feeling like star cross lovers story and it is an mc family/drama story. Their characters are well laid out and given a significant amount of page time detailing them so you can connect with them. The auxiliary drama that is happening was a little more challenging for me. I felt that the wrapup kind of came out of left field, which interrupted the flow in continuity of the story for me. I was happy for them to finally get to their happily ever after, but also wished for an epilogue that saw them a little bit more into the future.

Jester and Sarah, who grew up together and fell in love. For Jester it's a no brainer that they would end up married and living a happy ever after, he's just waiting for Sarah to catch up. Sarah hides their love feeling its taboo, in the dark of night she sneaks in his bed, in the light of day she acts like she hates him. When Jester finally puts his foot down, Sarah has to make a choice, either own up to what they have, or he is leaving without her. Will Sarah be able to make a choice or is it too late?

A good and super-fast paced story for the fifth installment in this series. We are getting some nice naughty bits, good drama, and a bit of violence. The best part of this for me is always getting to see the previous characters. I give this 4 stars.

Mewsings- I loved this book. I always like a childhood friends to lovers story when it’s done well, and this one was. It had just the right amount of sweetness, angst, and sexytime to make a really good story.

When their lives have them back in each other's world, Sarah struggles with how she feels, but she accepts the intimacy between them. She's cautious but remains loyal to Noah and their families.

Noah, aka Jester, has always wanted her. His patience has become too much to bear. Danger attempts to split them apart. Thankfully, the family and the MC brotherhood's push help her clear head so she can move forward.

This is the fifth book in this amazing series, and this is Noah / Jester and Sarah / Freckles’ story.
Jester and Sarah grew up together as next door neighbors, and he has loved her since they were teenagers, but she is more cautious.
This is a well written easy and quick read, with family, friendships, emotions, heartbreak, danger, suspense, intrigue, secrets, tension, challenges, friends / lovers, loyalty, and love, which leads to an entertaining and addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

I have read from the beginning Morningstar MC and here we are with the second generation and it’s as good as the originals. I have to say that I felt so much for Jester / Noah I’m happy to say that he is a great guy and deserves everything he gets. As for Sarah I am not too happy with. But I guess everyone grows up and finally gets advice hopefully they learn. I have always loved these books with the action and twists of who is at fault for being the bad guy. I’m happy to say I couldn’t put the book down loved it .

Sarah, Gavin and Noah "Jester" grew up together, Jester promised to protect Sarah always. Their story was heartbreaking at times and frustrating at others. Through it all I saw the love these characters share. Afraid to break from what has always been known with what the heart wants. I truly loved these characters and this entire MC family.

When they both have to go through some serious situations she maybe seeing things differently.

Noah/Jester and Sarah have been friends since childhood. Noah has known he has been in love with Sarah since they were teens. Sarah has felt the same way but didn't know how both families as well as their MC would handle it. In true Morningstar MC fashion, they had to go about things the hard way even though they were the only ones oblivious to the attraction to each other. I can't wait to see the next book in this series as all of D's books are short and amazing reads!.

This was a quick read but it had my full attention from start to finish. The next generation of the MorningStar MC are just as good as the originals.

The girl next door...kinda...for years growing up in the same MC began as playmates, growing into big people games. They kept it secret.

Will her reason to keep their relationship hidden hold? Does Jester agree, or does he want to come out in the open?

Will the decision come to a head, or will danger to their hometown put one of them or both rethinking their lives?

We're back at MorningStar MC!

D. Williams has crafted a story of two people in love but there are obstacles. Scattered throughout this story are vignettes from the past, glimpses of what could be a future, and unexpected obstacles to overcome.

It was a fun and fast read and just what I needed! Enjoy!

This was a quick read. Sarah and Jester/Noah grew up together. Their love grew from teenage infatuation to more. When their lives brought them back into each other's world, Sarah struggled with her feelings but allowed for the intimacy. She was a bit cautious but very loyal to Noah and their families. Noah/Jester knew he wanted her and had plenty of patience until it became too much. Danger came and almost split them apart. With a push from family and the MC brotherhood, she got her head clear and went for it.

Jester and Sarah have been inseparable since they were kids, they are best friends and secret but now she’s convinced they can’t be together because their families are too close, and it’s tearing them apart. Jester’s not having it, he loves her and knows what they have is real and he’s ready to prove it.

Loved Jester and Sarah's story.
Lifetime friends and then things change and everyone sees which road they are going down except for Sarah.
Love the way the entire family surrounds them with love and laughter throughout their entire life.
Twisted action that leads to enough angst for Jester and all.
Couldn't put it down.

Loved it…. Jester and Sarah’s love being at the beginning of time. But time and circumstance seems to get in the way of that love.

I love coming back to the Morning Star MC family. It’s like visiting old friends. Learning and loving new family and friends. I highly recommend this book.
