Carly Bryson owns Scruples restaurant a small eatery in DeFuniak Springs Florida which is an equally small place too. Carly has dreams to leave all of that behind even though Carly came back from college when her mom ran into trouble to run the restaurant. Still Carly doesn’t want to leave her safe haven her best friend Cassandra, her mom or secretly the love that she pines for but can’t tell Logan Sanders. In truth Logan feels the same way for Carly but can’t tell her how he feels due to his father not approving of the relationship so he has been stuck in the friend zone with Carly. Of course their feelings for each find a way to get out of hand and they end up sleeping together when Carly is forced to leave for a modeling contract making one of her dreams come true. Logan hides a secret from Carly but Carly holds a secret which could endanger her world and Logan’s world as well.
One of the things I really like about Ms. Ditter Kellen is she writes about true hole in the wall places that are real the settings are real and the characters definitely do live. I can see Scruples in my mind and I do totally want to try one of their infamous bloody Mary’s there. In fact my mouth waters just thinking and imagining the place. Yes there is the paranormal in there but it isn’t a total stretch of the imagination. There is enough real life that doesn’t totally throw me into left field. Ms. Kellen writes with an ease that makes the story flow even though this is part of a series it is still complete.
Carly is a wonderful heroine to like or aspire to be. She has a real life job she cares for her mom, her best friend and even Logan. She might make mistakes but she still is able to handle them like a strong independent girl. In some ways I wanted to tell her to use protection when sleeping with Logan but then again she probably wasn’t thinking. I can’t blame her though what girl hasn’t made that mistake before and heard the rumors you can’t get pregnant after your first time. Logan wow what a hero! Yes he made me a little angry I didn’t care for his habit but he was still a great hero. I liked that he finally had the audacity and strength to stand up to his dad even though he should of done it in from the beginning but it’s hard to stand up to family. Still I liked him and know that he’s a good match for Carly. I can’t wait to read the rest in the Scruples series and find out what happens with Cassandra, Ben that is if he has a story and the rest.

I read Finding Carly quite a long time ago and then reread it. This book has it all! Really, it does.
Love, Passion, Steam, Action a spunky heroine (Carly) and a Hunky, Strong, Loveable Hero (Logan). Logan is a different kind of Strong male lead in my opinion. He is possessive, but not overly so and there is no doubt about his love for Carly.
Carly returns to her hometown for a wedding. There she is reunited with her best friend Logan, who is discouraged to have been placed firmly in Carly's "Friend-zone". Little does he know that Carly is head-over-heels in love with him too but forces have worked behind Logan's back forcing Carly to keep him at arms-length.
Once again, when Carly is this close to giving in and taking a chance in staying with Logan, she is forced to flee her home town or hurt the ones she loves.
Logan will not let her go this time and sets out on an adventure to find her filled with action, intrigue and betrayal.
Can Carly and Logan fight the forces keeping them apart? Will they find their happily-ever-after? This is a must read. Book one of the Scruples series will leave you panting for book 2. Carly and Logan steam up the pages and make you yearn to find YOUR Logan (or Carly) *Sigh*

Awesome
I chose this rating because this book is really awesome. It has love, twists, drama, action, and more love at the end. This book is more than I thought it would be and I'm in love with this book from beginning to the end. If you want to find out about the deception of Carly Bryson and the love of her life Logan Sanders you have to read this book it is awesome.

Carly and Logan
I loved the story, but at one point in the story I really did not like Carly. That lasted for like two pages. Carly is a budding model/owner of Scruples. Logan is the shifter that has loved Carly for a very long time. There is a evil rat bastard Mack Doyle. Carly and Logan are very loveable characters. I don't recommend this book for the under 18 crowd.

Finding Carly
I must say that I wasn't a huge fan of Shifters, Paranormal or Sci-Fi but then I discovered Ditter and I was instantly hooked! Finding Carly is so awesome that you get engrossed as soon as you start reading it!

A must read
Carly seems to be a trouble magnet. Logan does his best to keep her safe. With lies and betrayal do they have a chance. Will Carly survive enemies at every corner it seems. Hidden allies in plain site. This an outstanding book.

Scruples is a roller coaster ride from beginning to end whether it’s emotions, thrills or chills.
Carly is a twenty eight year old college drop-out… oh, not because she wanted to be. Nope life or rather death dealt her that deck and now she’s playing with the hand she was dealt. So instead of being the latest model extraordinaire on the sunny west coast of the US of A, she’s managing her legacy bar and diner in small town DeFuniak Springs, Florida. Along for the ride is her high school best buds Cassandra and Logan. Life would be perfect if the latter wasn’t just a best bud but rather the love of her life in truth rather than just her dreams. But those dreams were shattered years ago by Logan’s father who assured her she wasn’t and never would be good enough for the political aspirations he has for his son’s life. You see Carly’s mama has just a few criminal skeletons in her closet.
What daddy dearest doesn’t get though is Logan isn’t buying the paved path to political fame and riches. If all he can have in life is Carly then it will always be Carly he chooses. Now, if only she would realize it and let him in rather than holding him at arm’s length. A wedding, a bowl of spaghetti, a few bottles of wine, several bottles of beer and one hell of a scare by wild wolves fighting on the front lawn finds a very naked Logan being patched up in Carly’s bed. As you can imagine one thing leads to another and Logan and Carly are imagining that life couldn’t be any better. That is until life deals Carly her dream in the form of a modeling contract and an ultimatum; be on the plane to sunny Los Angeles in the morning leaving Logan behind or watch her mother and her best friend die. How do you choose between the ones you love? So with a few hurtful words she leaves Logan and everyone she loves behind.
Life isn’t so grand in LA when you are missing those you love, but she finds an awesome ally in her new chauffer and companion, Ben. In the meantime Logan is at his wits ends trying to find her. Just when she thinks things might settle life throws a few more curve balls. This story is full of twists and turns and more than one villain including a paranormal or two. Par for the course Ditter Kellen has produced a winner here and I’m definitely hoping Cassandra will be done soon. Life has to have something abnormally spectacular in store for Carly’s best friend. There were certainly hints a plenty that something secret is going on behind the scenes for her.

AWESOME!!!!! 5 stars
I am not sure that I can do this book justice, but I will try! IT WAS FANTASTIC!!!! I have never read a book that touched me so much from the start. It is such a beautiful story!!!! From chapter 1 through chapter 11 - I laughed, cried, yearned, and my heart broke over their situation. And holy hotness Batman!!! Not only is Logan sexy, hot and sensitive but he has a great sense of humor too!!! But then to find out that he is also a wolf!?!?! AWESOME!!!! This is such a heart-warming romantic story and I can’t wait for more in the series. I want more of Logan & Carly, but I also want to see what happens with some of the other people we met along the way! So many possibilities for future books!!! I loved that it had everything in it – romance, great friends new & old, humor, suspense, betrayal, just about everything I look for and want, no NEED in what I call A PERFECT BOOK. I think that I can safely say that Ditter has that rare awesome author talent that lets them tell you so much in a fewer amount of pages. To be able to connect with the characters, get the gist of the story AND not be overwhelmed or lost, that is the talent I am talking about! Ditter proves that she does in fact have this talent with every book I read of hers and this one is no different! So don’t miss out on this one! It is terrific!!!

I really enjoyed this short read and great love story. A 4.5 it shall be! I recognized many familiar elements in the book that may have been taken from the authors own life. Wonderful characters and chemistry between them in turn gives such a great story.
Logan and Carly have known each other it seems forever. But if being in the Friend zone is what it takes to stay close to Carly than that is where he will be. Carly loves Logan but will not give into her emotions and desperately seeks a way to move to the big city. But when trouble comes looking for Carly she knows what she has to do even if it hurts the ones she loves.
I look forward to reading the next book in the series and finding out more about Carly's roommate Cassandra and the secrets she is hiding.

It was a quick read, and it was wrapped up rather abruptly in my opinion. A wolf, a shapeshifter, an ex-con and a cafe owner, and a best friend is the cast of Scruples. Throw in hidden money a snobby rich father and you have yourself a strange but entertaining plot. It took me a bit to get into the story. But after about the first chapter I was invested into the outcome. The only complaint I have is the book was too short for a sense of completion at the end of the book. I got that, "That's it?" feeling at the end of the book. I am not sure if this will be a series or not. But it had that cliffhanger feel to it, so I am imagining at least Cassie will get her own book.

Great book that combines romance with the supernatural. Carly lives in a small town and though she knew everything about everyone but some secrets run deep. Carly finds this out with Logan. A man she loves and should marry but she wants to get out of the small town and have a better life. Strange circumstances that involve buried secrets change all that. Logan and Carly's life become intertwined in a special bound that the reader will have to pick up this book in order to find out. Great job with a novel that is so much more than your normal romance.

I absolutely loved this book. Read it in a day and want more. Logan and Carly made for each other and the banter between the three friends is hysterical. Can't wait for Cassie and her story and hoping for more of Ben the gentle giant. Ditter Kellen is my new favorite Author!

This was a very well written book about love. You read about the love Logan and Carly have. But Carly is told by Logan’s father that she can’t be in his life. She gets offered a modeling contract and is missing all of her family and friends back home. When she is way she learns some things about herself and Logan. I can’t say any more or I will give good parts of the book away. So you just need to read this to know what happens. You won’t be disappointed.

This is the first book I have read by this author, and was recommended. I absolutely loved her writing style, the story was capitivating, and drew me in. I found it full of surprises, but I'll let you discover those for yourself. Be ready for plenty of action, both in and out of the bedroom. This may of been my first book, but not my last, looking forward to reading more from this author, and I highly recommend her books.

The plot has great twists and turns to keep you on your toes. I savored the action and the love story of Carly and Logan. This is a fabulous read for any lover of paranormal or good love story!

This was a breath of fresh air. It was the most normal shifter story I have ever read. It was funny, crazy, nail biting, heart breaking, blood boiling, and is all warm and fuzzy. Carly and Logan are great together. Carly is just am every day girl running her own diner and Logan is just the rich but down to earth boy next door. They have loved each other forever but his dad stopped them from being together. I am chomping at the bit for the book.

Wow! Had no idea where this story was leading to!!! I knew that it was a shifter story but when you first start out it doesn't come off like it. So when the shifter element came out I was thrilled! Loved the storyline and the characters are perfect. Carly and Logan and known each other forever but only as friends. Each had feelings for the other but neither acted on it until one fateful night she woke and found a wolf in her yard.

Happy to see a book about Northwest Florida
Ms. Kellen continues to do an excellent job with her writing. I was very pleased to see she wrote about Walton County, FL in this book. I could very clearly see all of the characters, as well as the backdrop for the book, all in my mind. Can't wait to see what's next from this author!

I love the characters and the story! The reason for my not giving 5Stars is because it seemed rushed I would have preferred more details...maybe an epilogue would have helped to give it more of an ending. I LOVE Ditter Kellen's books and am looking forward to the next always!!

Oh man...this author is A new favorite. The characters are amazing...the plot is awesome. It's sexy...sweet...adventures and so much more. I loved the chemistry between them and Ben was amazing. I cannot wait for the next book. I hope it's soon

So what to say about this book. It is absolutely brilliant. It has happy, sad, romantic and paranormal all thrown in with a great plot line. Once I started reading it I did not want to stop. Many thanks again Ditter.

Fantastic
This book was fan freeking tastic! Just the right amount of danger, suspense, hot Steamy sex and hunky hot shifters. I am a big fan of Ditter Kellon's Enigma series but Scruples is going to be my next new favorite! This was the first book in the series! I can't wait to read the next book.

Logan and Carly have been friends forever, both hiding their feelings from each other , finally one night they act upon it and life moves forward quickly.
This story is a roller coaster ride, lots of suspense, action and sweet romance any reader will find this paranormal short read a delight.
I really enjoyed Ben's character - he was unique and different and a protector . I fell for him , and his loyalty to Carly ..
Logan well he is an alpha , hunk - any girl would certainly swoon over him. His love for Carly unfathomable , his loyalty and his devotion is unwavering. Would certainly make any girl green with envy.
