Life took me on a path no one should ever have to experience when I was nine years old. Years of trauma and fighting my inner hurt consumed me.
I found my purpose, my comfort, and what I wanted to do with my life when I found my art. I followed Angel into the profession. He’s my safe place. He helped raise me and taught me how to fight the demons hiding in the dark. What he couldn’t prepare me for was the monster lurking in the shadows.
A constant mark, always behind me. Eyes are watching me, but I never see them.
I forget about my problems when I’m sucked into the depths of Mimic's hurt.
Piece by piece, he supports my dreams and helps keep me together. My very being consumes him, and I’m beginning to feel the same.
But can this survive? How can we make it?
There are two very big problems in our way, and neither of them has to do with the man out to get me. No, that’s another problem that I’ll deal with later. For now, I have to convince my father, the President of the North Carolina charter of the Nameless Order MC and the club's Cleaner that their very own brother is the perfect man for me.
Michele Lee isn't a "she," but a "we." Ashton (Michele) and Brittany (Lee) make up this writing duo.
We met via a readers group, and instantly connected via the books we love to read. It didn't take long to form a friendship, and learn that we were both writing our own stories. After sharing our work with each other, we learned we have the same writing style, and decided to come together for a whole new story.
Four years later, we continue our writing journey together. We have multiple storylines in the works, and can't wait to see all those words hit the paper.
We're a duo who have only meant once in real life, but have found our best friend within each other.
"You’re f*** everything. He could kill me in every life I get, but as long as I have you in each one, I’ll die a happy man.” Mimic
“I promise to always look at you like you are my hero and my world. I can promise to love you like my mom loves my dad,” My heart is pounding in my chest with love for this man." Roxie
I have followed this author duo from the beginning. I fell in love with the characters that we met in the Wyman Colorado charter.
Those stories broke me multiple times, but by the end of the final book, Cougar, everything made sense and some of the broken pieces were healed. But I did also cry a lot and curse these authors, also a lot, because of how that story ended.
Reading Rox was exactly what I needed for a redemption from this author duo. Roxie is strong and stubborn, more often than not, to a fault. But she's also loyal and loves with all that she is. Not many people get to see her be vulnerable because she keeps herself guarded. Mimic is a character that I absolutely loved.
I loved that he went to bat for Roxie, that he was honest with her, that he was willing to do almost anything for her. And the almost refers to his way of handling hard emotions.
But the two of them together, they complimented each other so well that they felt real. When they were in sync they brought out the best in each other. Their chemistry was hot and you could feel it coming off the pages.
This whole story was amazing with the character development, the world building, and the interactions between all of the characters.
I loved seeing our friends from Wyman again.
I absolutely recommend this book and even though it is the first book in a spin-off charter, it is technically a standalone and you do not need to have read the original stories to appreciate and understand everything going on in this story.
"I owe them both everything for getting Rox to this point in life. Without them, I wouldn’t have her. I wouldn’t know what it’s like to fear loss. I wouldn’t understand this hurt or experience how soul-consuming it is. This love is like nothing I’ve ever felt, and I know for a fact I never would if Rox wasn’t here."
Rox is the daughter to the Prez of the Nameless Order MC and is breaking away from what her dad and brother want from her. They want a degree to go along with her being a tattoo artist but she wants to do without the degree. When Mimic, who is the club’s Enforcer, stands up for her and that’s what opens Rox’s eyes to the man that Mimic is. They both are struggling with pasts and secrets but with someone watching Rox, Mimic will do whatever he has to in order to protect her.
The club drama along with all of the secrets made this book a huge page turner. I look forward to what this author has next in the MC world.
**THIS IS A RE-REVIEW AS MY PREVIOUS REVIEW "DISAPPEARED**
This is my first book by this duo, and I was absolutely blown away. Rox is book one in a new series, but interconnected with the series prior, but you can still read Rox, enjoy and follow along just fine, it'll just leave you wanting to know what happened before. Which isn't a bad thing.
This book will definitely kept you on the edge of your seat, trying to figure things out, the spice was on point and the characters are strong, and hardheaded. Its a great MC series without getting to dragged into the MC, but the brotherhod, loyalty, and family aspects are all there.
What a great intro to a new Nameless Order Chapter. Catching up with some known names and being introduced to some new ones. Rox and Mimic are great and the one he has her back is right on point. Loved this, can't wait for more.
Love the Nameless Order MC! Was so excited to see this book come out and it did not disappoint at all. I could not put it down. I love Rox and her determination. When a threat comes from her past, Mimic is the only one she trusts. This isn’t your typical MC love story. You will enjoy every step of this book.
Love, love this start of a new chapter of the Nameless Order MC!! Mimic and Rox just complemented each other so, so well. He stands up for her against her father and her honorary uncle/best friend, which opens her eyes to him as more than a member of her father‘s MC. Things start getting hot and heavy between the two, but will a threat to Roxie put the brakes on the budding romance?
Some years have passed since the spin off move to NC, Rox is now grown and fighting to become the adult that she claims she is. Dizz and Angel are (as expected) standing in her way and wanting her to pick another path. But what else is an MC princess supposed to do? They fall in love with a biker, and fight for what they want, and that's exactly what Rox does. Problem is, will her stubbornness be the death of her? A good start to the series, giving loads of drama, hot naughty bits, a few laughs, and of course some danger and violence. I give this 4 stars.
5* Mimic has been with the mc along time and is always drawn to Roxanne. When Dizz & Angel decide she must get a business degree along side becoming a tattooist the problems start. Roxie is determined to succeed without the degree and their help. When Mimic sticks up for her she finally sees him. Unfortunately not everyone is happy and the club steps up to help roxie.
This is the first in a new Nameless Order MC chapter and comes ten years after the original stories.
Rox wants to be a tattoo artist and would love nothing more than to apprentice with Angel, but both he and her dad, Dizz, the Prez of NOMC Heart, NC have decided that she should get a business degree first and that’s when she goes to Stanton and starts at his shop the problems start. The only person she finds actually sees her is Mimic, her dad’s Enforcer and with his unwavering support she finds solace in her art and passion in his arms and begins to heal.
Mimic has loved Rox from the first time he saw her, he knows she’s the one and opens up to her about his turbulent
With their growing connection they navigate the objection of Dizz and Angel until they realise the depth of Rox and Mimics feelings for each other and come to an understanding, but there is danger lurking in the shadows as someone stalking Rox tries to take her life.
Mimic and the MC won’t stop until they find him.
It was great to see the original characters make an appearance too.
Rox is the Nameless Order MC's President's daughter so you can only imagine how overprotective her father is when it comes to her. She wants to become a tattoo artist, but her father wants her to get a degree for a backup so they've been fighting a ton since she went out on her own to follow her dream. Mimic has his own dark past that has made him who he is, but one thing is for certain, he wants to make Rox his, and he'll do anything to protect her. These two have serious sparks flying between them so the sexy times are hot, but there's so much more to it as she gets him to finally open up (something he hasn't done with anyone), and the pain with that nearly brought me to my knees. Rox has her own dark past, and that also had me ready to cry. On top of all of this, she has someone stalking her, so it's a race against time to figure out who it is before something bad happens to her so the twists were coming in hot as well. I LOVED this story, and I'm super excited for more of this new series in the future! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Oh...my...gosh! We are finally back in the Nameless Order world, but this time we're in Heart,North Carolina. Rox is a tale of so many secrets, self discovery and reliance that it felt like you are the female main character rather than Roxanne. Rox has always been a huge part in the brother's lives, and this was no different for Mimic...the pull was instant for him,but with everything he was about,he kept it close to his chest. Now what can I say about Mimic without giving everything away??? He is the kind of guy,you would love with your every being, but at the same time, would want to shake some sense into!,which in my eyes,is perfect for Rox because she is the epitome of stubbornness, fire and feistiness, and nothing would change that for a second. I loved every minute of the start of this brand new series, and I'm instantly ready for Book 2!!!
The wait is over! Nameless Order is back! This can be read as a stand alone, however you will understand Rox history if you read the other books. Roxanne has a goal to become a tatoo artist but her dad and big brother figure have decided they are not supportive. She will not let that stop her though. Mimic is the enforcer in her dad's MC and has been secretly in love with her since they met. This isn't your regular love story. Roxanne is in danger from an unknown enemy. Mimic is the only one she can trust with her safety. However they both have dark secrets. Trust is hard when it has been broken in childhood. Grab your kutte and order your drink at the bar because this MC princess is anything but sugar or spice. We are Nameless!
This is the first in a new series and this is Roxy and Mimic’s story. Roxy is the daughter of the president of his MC, and she is a gifted tattoo artist, but she wants to forge her own path in life, which is different from what her dad and brother’s want. Mimic is the club’s enforcer, and when he stands up for her, her eyes are opened. Mimic will do whatever he must to keep her safe and protected. This is a well written story which has found family, friendships, emotions, drama, a stalker, trauma, survival, secrets, challenges, loyalty, healing, and instant love, which leads to an entertaining, and soul-consuming addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
This is a perfect beginning to see how things are going the new chapter of the Nameless Order in Heart, NC!! We get to see old friends, and meet new ones!!!!
Even if you haven't read any of the other Nameless Order MC series, this a great one to start with, as well.
Rox and Mimic are a wild ride, as you would expect. Rox is Dizz's daughter, and Angel 's sister, through and through!
Tissues might be needed. A reminder to not throw the kindle/book you are reading.
Reading Rox, made me feel like I was coming home. It's amazing how much you can miss fictional characters and places!!
Ahhhh I've missed everything Nameless, it's so good to be back amongst them all. We may now be with a new chapter, but trust me things are not much different. You'll feel right at home amongst the chaos. I will say, this isn't full on dark and gritty the whole book like long time readers are used to, but with both main characters already have been through so much, it's almost understandable. And it DEFINITELY doesn't stop it from being an amazing must read book. I cannot wait to see what this writing duo come up with next now that they've found their groove again.
I am so excited to be back in the Nameless Order MC world again. But this series is about the North Carolina chapter. I'm already loving this series and its just beginning. We met Rox in Dizz aka Prez and Meg's story back in Nameless Order MC series. Rox definitely had a hard childhood but being stubborn she persevered and made a life for herself. Even if what she wants to do goes against her father's wishes. Mimic has had a hard life before joining the MC as well, hiding who he truly is. Mimic finally lets Rox know how he feels about her only to find out she likes him as well. When they find out Rox has someone out to kill her they all get together to keep her safe and to bring down the killer. Mimic has made it his mission to keep her safe even if her stubbornness could be her down fall. I love Rox and Mimic's story even if I wanted to knock some sense into both of them a time or two. Im so excited to be reading more from these two fantastic authors. I truly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it.
I was eagerly anticipating this book, and it did not disappoint. This is a new series, which concentrates on the North Carolina Chapter of the Nameless Order MC, the focus of the story is Roxanne and Mimic. We already know a bit about Roxie from the Nameless Order MC series, she’s the daughter of Pez, Dizz but now she’s an adult who is battling her family about her future. Mimic, enforcer for the MC is watching, and he has long had feeling for Rox so he makes a stand in support of her. As they navigate their way into the future Mimic opens up about his past, telling her of things no one else knows and gradually trust is built. Things aren’t plain sailing though, someone is watching, members of the MC need convincing, and there are dark events and arguments, violence and truths to be heard and understood. As aways this writing duo, nothing is helped back and the story grips from the opening. The drama has enough surprised to keep me guessing to the very end. Throw in some glimpses of characters from earlier books and I was hooked throughout.
A full list of trigger warnings is at the start of the book, I encourage you to check them.
