A lusciously designed, vegetarian cookbook filled with mouthwatering dishes. These are the dishes the author cooks at home, with the majority stemming from her Persian and Pakistani heritage. The remainder are influenced by her travels around the world.

Recipes are well-written and accompanied by gorgeous photos. I especially loved the colourful 2-page illustration for each chapter heading (by Mariam Tafsiri) and the overall book design (by Allison Chi). Good for cooks at all levels and anyone looking to up their vegetarian game.

Also appreciated the author including a few pages at the end of the book to highlight the flaws and inequities in the food system, along with ways to help reshape the food system at the local level.
