Zane went for a run and was attacked by a monster, and the only thing which saved him was being hit by a car. Waking up after being in a coma for three months, he finds out his parents were killed and his sister Olivia was seriously injured. What attacked him? What is going to happen to him? Will he be able to recover?

Not totally unbiased, as I have inherited the copyright of the book from his estate, and have done a fair bit of editing to get it ready for publication, but I did not come up with the concept nor write the story.
This is a very relatable story for me, as the main character had suddenly lost his parents, and then had to deal with all the life-changes which happened from then. Working for that, adding in the changes to being a werewolf, and also a sister being injured, then bullies starting to go after him, thinking he would be an easy mark, it's no wonder he has a hard time of it.
I found the story to be very believable and it has some fun parts, as Zane, his sister Olivia, and the friends who don't let Zane push them away in his pain and try to help them both recover and find a new normal. It's a very captivating story which draws you in and doesn't let you go.
I am proud to have been able to bring this story to a published state, as a legacy for my friend, Brian.
