Lord and Lady Parry, desperate to avoid war between Upper and Lower Sclerosia, call on Odelia and her clowder of clever cats to retrieve the stolen Sclerosian Crown Jewels, the key to peace. But that’s easier said than done in a country filled with doddering earls, backstabbing diplomats, and scandalous affairs fit for a soap opera!
Things quickly spiral out of control as we find ourselves immersed in aristocratic intrigue and bumbling British nobility, not to mention Baroness Bumbleford, a pig who really hates cats!
Will Odelia be able to solve this high-stakes mystery before international war breaks out? Or will we find ourselves up to our whiskers in trouble?

Off to england again
Chase, Ordelia and the cats are off to England to help out a friend. The crown jewels of a nation in conflict are stolen from the country mansion where negotiations are taking place. Who stole them and why is what they need to determine. As usual, another great Max book.

I can never get enough of Max. All of the cats have such great personalities and because I have 2 cats myself, I WISH I could talk to them because I know they have a lot to share. I've read EVERY Max book so far.

Pierce t Ruckus(The mysteries of Max book 95
What an adventure and not just for the adults, cats, but also diplomats, English police, pigs, a mouse and a young couple in love. This is a great read.

Great story
If you like cats, this is a must read. It keeps you guessing. Nick Saint is A great writer. It is hard to put the book down and go to bed!
