Sonder Soul isn’t just a book.

It’s a form of therapy. An emotional release. It resonates in the deepest depths of your soul and tugs at your heart strings. It makes you feel but it also makes you feel seen—truly seen—like you’ve never been before. After being misunderstood by everyone, this book cultivates a safe space where you can set yourself free of all the fear while finding yourself within each page. It’s not just a book; it’s a piece of yourself you didn’t know you were missing—a shared experience from a stranger that mirrors yours.

This book doesn’t just live on the shelf; it lives within you. It lingers in your thoughts long after the final page has been turned. It leaves footprints on your heart. It’s far from just ink on paper. It’s an invitation to explore the uncharted territories of your emotions, fears, and dreams. It’s a reminder that it’s okay to be vulnerable and to be human.

So, yes, it’s a book, but it’s also a guide, a friend, and a mirror reflecting the parts of you that have long been hidden waiting for the moment to be rediscovered. Once you read it, it never leaves you. It lingers in your heart because maybe you’re not yet finished with yourself. Maybe this is the beginning of a new chapter, and the becoming is within these pages. The way a book can capture the essence of the beauty in the world, even when the scars of pain still exist within—it can set you free and transform the meaning of loneliness. Sonder the complex mosaic of who you are and who you are becoming.

Moonsoulchild has long been a guiding voice in my life, offering words that carried me through darkness and helped me reconnect with myself in moments of deep reflection. Sonder Soul beautifully continues that inner journey—moving through themes of love, loss, healing, and transformation with honesty, grace, and raw emotion. It’s a tender reminder that we’re all navigating this human experience together—feeling similar emotions, facing similar lessons, and seeking meaning along the way.

The moment I read Your Love Isn’t a Waste, tears welled in my eyes. It was as if the quiet thoughts that often swirl in my mind had been brought to life on the page. Lose You to Love Me echoed my journey toward self-love, stirring a deep recognition of everything I’ve overcome. Lonely Seasons: Losing People held space for grief and reminded me that these painful chapters are just that—chapters, not the whole story… a season, not a sentence.

Where They’re Healed stood out with its truth: people can only meet us where they are. Pieces like Rebuild, The Giver, Confronting the Darkest Parts of My Psyche, and Forgiveness: For Myself felt incredibly close to my healing path. Read This If You’re Mending a Broken Heart is a balm for anyone nursing a wound. Garden of You, Your Big Heart Isn’t a Toxic Trait, and Who Are You spoke to the power of self-love, reflection, and gentle acceptance. A Message to Women was especially touching—a heartfelt homage to the sacred journey of womanhood. And My Greatest Life Advice is exactly that—words to live by. Grounded was another standout, offering a gentle and powerful invitation to reconnect with the present moment and root ourselves in the embrace of nature. I also deeply appreciated the creativity and emotional depth of the Crowded Room pieces.

Sonder Soul isn’t just a book—it’s a mirror, a hug, a balm. If you’re on a journey of healing, reflection, or rediscovery, let this be your companion.

This book was like a message from the universe. I needed to read this book. It came at the right time. I can't tell how powerful this book is. I was going through hell and didn't see a way out. Then this book with all the words I couldn't find, all the emotions I was facing in all the stories. It was like SARA 🤍was speaking for me on some of the pages. I was able to see the light finally and see hope that things will be better.

I'm so in love with this book and I was already crying when I read the first few pages
I hope everyone out there get to read this book I'm sure you're gonna heal 🩷🥺

THANK YOU SARA FOR WRITING THIS WONDERFUL PIECE

YOU MADE A BOOK NO ONE CAN EVER FORGET 😭❤️

If I'm to write my favourite title then there's so many but here are some where I was sobbing 😭 and had goosebumps ❤️‍🩹
Needed this message more than you know.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU ARE NOT LOVED IN RETURN

__SLEEPING WITH A BROKEN HEART
Have you ever Tried to rewrite the past And this time Make our love last?

___HEART RESERVATIONS
I wasn't aware your love was already reserved for someone else, and your heart space was preoccupied, leaving no space for me. I didn't know about the one who brings tranquility to
your mind or that you were home to someone else. I didn't realize you were already claimed. I wouldn't have allowed myself to fall in love with someone who belongs to someone else. 😭❤️‍🩹

---YOU CAN’T TELL SOMEONE YOU HURT
HOW TO FEEL OR HOW TO HEAL
gave you the best parts of me and in return, you gave me scars I’ll always see, and pain I’ll always feel. You don’t get to tell me how to feel or how to heal.

--THE CHASE
I was there, giving all of me—my heart, attention, and time, you didn’t care to see it. You took me for granted. You treated my love like a temporary fix, something to use for your convenience and
discard when you didn’t need

I just finished reading the book this morning and I would say that it's really worth it. It resonates with me, and I've learned so much about myself too. It feels raw for me because the words are really speaking to my heart and there's some pieces of this book where I found myself crying just because it validates my feelings. Thank you for writing this Miss Author! I really love how your words speak to me, it comforted me in so many ways, especially that in the past few days I've doubted myself. But this book encourages me to look at myself and love every part of me, the messy, the scars, the burns, the vulnerable and all that I thought makes me less of a person. I realized these things make me beautiful too. Anywaaay, I would saaay that I really love these, the "MIROOR TALKS: Who Am I?" and "WHO ARE YOU" for these pieces gently talk with me, reminding me that I was never alone.  I love everything from this book, but this "I never wanted perfection. I never wanted to be someone with the ideal exterior. I wanted inner depth and to be felt on a soul level. I deserved grace while still picking up the pieces and finding my way back to myself. I wanted to know I was worthy of being loved even when I had a lot to heal from." I'm too soft for this and had me crying coz I feel safe. Thankkks to this book! Thanks Sara <33

Sonder Soul felt like a companion I didn’t know I needed. It walked with me through emotions I couldn’t name and helped me face parts of myself I had buried for too long. Reading it was like having someone finally say the things I had always wanted to hear—but never did.

There’s something truly comforting about how this book blends poetry with raw honesty. It’s beautifully written, yet incredibly accessible and relatable. It doesn’t try to be complex—it just is, and that’s what makes it powerful.

One part that hit me hard (and stayed with me) was this:

“it’s okay if you didn’t love yourself enough
and you loved them more. It’s okay if you gave more than you
could and couldn’t be enough. It’s okay if you lost your worth
in the moment, and didn’t know you should have loved
yourself first. The thing is, you’re not perfect, you’re going to
mess up and be human in every way—embrace those parts of
you like you honor the goodness in you. Mistakes aren’t meant
to be carried out; they are for learning purposes only.”

That was something I wished someone—anyone—would’ve told me. But I never heard it from anyone until I read it here. This book made me feel less alone. It reminded me that I don’t have to have it all figured out, that it’s okay to be a work in progress.

Highly, highly recommend this gem! It’s a journey of healing in pages.

Truly Heartwarming and Heartfelt

This book is for all the broken souls in the world. The ones trying to survive and heal from all the pain they have had to endure alone. They no longer have to feel alone though. This author has written a book that touches the heart and hugs the soul. She reminds us that we are never truly alone. There are others out there that have felt the emotions we have always wished someone understood that we felt.

With entries such as Your Love Isn’t A Waste, helps you understand that you don’t have to feel regret or shame for loving someone who never loved you back. It was never a waste and the love you have away will one day return to you time two. She reminds you in Your Heart Doesn’t Love The Same Way Twice that our love is authentic and changes each time we fall.

I truly felt the words in That Apology May Never Come, I have struggled with moving on from the pain of never receiving an apology that I felt I deserved and needed to know that I don’t even need it. In The Things I Didn’t Say Because It Was Too Late really touched me and spoke to my grieving heart from the death of a love one.

This book is truly a page turner. Heartwarming and heartfelt, inspiring, encouraging and comforting. This is a must read!

This is not just a book. It’s a form of therapy!!

And that’s exactly what this book was!

This books is divided into three parts, and you could start in whatever section you want.

Sections
I: To feel
II: To see
III: To be

I read this piece from section 1 to 3. And boy was it a journey! it was sad, hopeful, Therapeutic, Healing, raw and open, and just down right Emotional to me. But it was so needed and I loved ever bit of all 3 sections

Some of my favorites
*POV: imposter syndrome. I think about this all the time and have felt these feelings many time before.

*My greatest misconception: i am weak because i am soft. *Snaps fingers* and lets out a heavy breath. It’s so good to feel seen.

*Tethered: all of the pages especially this last bit
“Some people just don't care.
Some people just don't have empathy.
Some people are just ruthless.
Some people just don't possess compassion.
Some people just aren't capable of understanding.
Some people are just not good.”

* THE POWER OF FORGIVENESS VS. YOUR POWER TO HEAL WITHOUT IT

* MY GREATEST ADVICE ON SELF-LOVE

I honestly have been asking myself a lot of these questions over the years. Trying to put into words what Sara did so beautifully in this book.

Thank you any Sara for the opportunity to ARC read your work of art. This book was so healing and I felt seen.

I just finished this book last weekend , I have to say this book is everything I needed to hear & read and my heart did not knew it. Once I started this book I felt like I was being slapped on the face by every piece, My emotions totally went over a rollercoaster , as a person that is always scared of abandonment this book was really helpful and healing. Is beautifully written, there’s so many beautiful and soul touching pieces that I almost have to highlight the whole thing . There are some things that resonated a lot with me and I will share some of them.

“I hope you know , that loving someone, even if they hurt you, isn’t a waste. Especially if they once brought you pure joy from their existence, it wasn’t a waste of your love.”

This helped me heal and understand that even tho I gave my 100% and even tho I still grieve that person this helped me heal and be happy with all I gave !

“I’ll find what’s left of me By setting you free.
I’ve learned sometimes, Loving less is loving more. So, I can have room To love me.”

If you are in need of some healing, this soul touching book is everything you need and more !!

I was able to read this book at a time when I was completely unraveled, heartbroken, and searching for something that could hold the pieces of me together. What I found in these pages wasn’t just poetry; it was a mirror, a quiet voice that said, You’re not alone.
Each poem felt like a hand reaching out in the dark. The author put words to an ache I couldn’t name, the grief I couldn’t voice, and the slow, quiet strength it takes to start again. Some lines made me cry—not because they hurt, but because they understood. I felt seen. Others gave me the courage to begin rebuilding.
This book didn’t fix me, but it saw me. It reminded me that healing isn’t linear, and that there is beauty, even in the wreckage. I can’t wait to get a physical copy so that I can return to these poems often, like old friends who still know exactly what to say.
If you're heartbroken, healing, or simply human—read this. Let it hold you the way it held me. Learn to put the pieces back together through these beautiful words.

If you are in a relationship, read this. If you are single, read this. If you are healing, definitely read this. I have been through each thing I read in this book. There are notes of grief in here, those might have been some of my favorite passages/pieces. My favorite piece was the 'Three Great Loves'. I have a feeling this book reached me when it was supposed to (be written also, thank you). I am healed, I think that was the right place for me to be to read this. Maybe not for you, but for me. You may need this on the healing journey. You may need this right before you rip the bandaid off of something you've been wanting to. Like I said, I've been healed but this was licking the envelope shut for me. Thank you for all your words. Thank you for feeling.

I’ve always been a fan of self-help books that deepen my understanding and build my confidence. Reading this one made me realize that love isn’t just about caring for a person—it’s something much more profound. Love feels like an invisible bubble that surrounds and embraces every part of you. You can feel its presence, like a gentle liquid on your skin, and its absence can leave you feeling dry and empty. This book gave me the epiphany that love is one of the most powerful forces in life. Just as science defines it as a chemical bond that can bring both joy and pain, love has the power to transform us. I’m truly grateful for the insights this book has given me—it’s changed the way I understand love entirely

from the first day I started reading it, I couldn't stop. I related to the book alot as I was on my self discovery road, "read this if you're mending a broken heart " was too personal for me and the chapter gave me a direction towards my journey, kept laughing when I remembered how I used to "sleep with broken heart". all in all this book to me felt so real like a true story not just a book. It felt like someone was telling me her love story with flaws, joy and aches which I related to. ohh what a lovely ending. self love and forgiveness to myself, in most cases we forget ourselves focusing on others.
thanks for the book, this will heal most souls💜💜💜💜💜💜

Sonder Soul read as if the author wrote certain passages specifically for me. I felt incredibly connected to Read This if You're Mending a Broken Heart. My husband died unexpectedly one year ago, on April 29th 2024. "You are not defined by your pain, but by how you rise from it." "...but in the ways you pick yourself up, rebuild, and choose to honor the journey that led you to this moment." I have spent a year on a personal healing and rebuilding journey, and this poem was a spiritual connection for me. It spoke directly to my soul.

If I could give this book more than 5 stars, I would.

Similar to all of her books, “Sonder Soul” kept me hooked from the first page. It’s about everything from love, relationships, life, healing, growth, and change. There were so many pieces in this book that I absolutely loved. Like “Wildflower” where she talks about that kind of love where you gave them everything and tried so hard but got nothing in return. Or “Love In The Dark” where she talks about not being able to fake it anymore when a relationship is falling apart. I highly recommend “Sonder Soul” to everyone, no matter wherever you are in your journey of growth and healing.

Whenever I read a Sara Sheehan book I can never put it down, it is so relatable to my own journey that I sometimes have to take a pause as I am crying too much.

Your words simply speaks to my soul, I have a few favorite titles in this book, the one that stands out to me the most is titled; What no longer serves me: people, places, and the past versions of myself.

I can definitely recommend this book to anyone going through thier own self healing journey to rediscover yourself and establish who you are and what you want for your life.

There is emotion in every word that Moonsoulchild writes. If you want to work through the hurt and understand the natural cycle of emotions in relationships with others and yourself, this is the book for you. Sonder Soul will make you reminisce on the past and provide understanding to things you didn’t know still bothered you. I relate the most to “THE WAR: Heart vs Mind” and CIRCLES. I needed to read and understand “THAT APOLOGY MAY NEVER COME” the most.

This book spoke to my soul, literally. Twin Flame felt like it was written for the exact scenario I am currently experiencing. The author has a way of touching your heart. “Not every heartbreak is meant to kill you, some cure you.” If there haven’t been more truer words written. Thank you for writing this book, it was exactly what I needed to read <3

Oh how I loved this book! “Sonder Soul” is a hauntingly beautiful exploration of identity, self-reflection, and the quiet moments that often pass unnoticed. The author’s voice is both intimate and universal, capturing fleeting emotions with a precision that lingers long after the final stanza. Highly recommended for readers who enjoy poetry that whispers truths and stays with you in silence!

I really enjoyed this book. It really made me look deeper into myself and also gave me a reality check on my feelings. My fave pieces are the heart doesn’t love the same way twice and the three great loves. seriously if you want to read a book that makes you question your feelings - this is it. I have recommended this to a few people because of how good it is.

While there are poems, most of the book is composed of letters or reflections on life, love and mental health. Not everything is relatable to everyone which is a real challenge with this kind of novel but I give her credit for what she accomplished. There is something here for everyone. It's just up to you if you want to read all of it for your nugget of Truth.

There are many things to say, but I might begin by stating that this book was masterfully written. The feelings that went into each line and word were real. In fact, the book contains many topics that are already understood but are sometimes forgotten, such as how to love and see oneself. This book, in my opinion, serves as a reminder of what we set aside. Sonder Soul allowed us to delve into our common, relatable past and the things we need to accomplish for ourselves. One of the things I can identify as my favorite is, 'That Apology May Never Come.' I appreciate how it touches on "real closure" after waiting long enough for an apology and learning when to quit.

Thank you Ms. Sara, Moonsoulchild for writing another good piece that I could read. Thank you for sharing your own thoughts and being brave to share it to the world. Keep writing, shining, and do what you love to do! Fighting!
