Eddie Williams, the father of three immensely talented football sons and one estranged daughter is found dead in a media trailer outside U of M stadium the day of the clash with Michigan State. That same day, college athletes from both teams stage a strike, wanting to make themselves heard: No Pay, No Play. In the aftermath of the event, a variety of suspects emerge, including university personnel, athletic directors, and even personnel from another power football program. About the author

A resident of Haslett, MI - Rich Baldwin has published more than 20 books, including two children’s books, a set of religious vignettes, several skits and the "AARP Magazine - Swim Suit Edition", under his own company – Buttonwood Press.

He is also a public speaker, addressing groups on the topic of “"How to Self Publish Your Own Book"” Prior to becoming a published author, he enjoyed a long and exciting career in special education, serving as a teacher, college professor and spending 20 years at the Michigan Department of Education where he was a consultant, supervisor and State Director of Special Education from 1990-97.

Rich was born in Kalamazoo,MI; raised in Grand Haven, MI; and has graduate and post graduate degrees from Western Michigan University as well as a doctorate from Kansas University.

Rich loves to spend time with his fans, and likes nothing better than meeting people when he is at book-signings and making appearances on promotional tours.

Summary: This book was about three kids who wanted to change the rule of paying student athletes. Pete, Sonny, and the oldest son. The oldest son who goes to MSU leads the cause. Sonny, who went to Notre Dame, doesn't really get into it. Pete, who went to Michigan, goes with the oldest son and leads it. They plan to strike at the Michigan vs MSU game. During the game they get a threat that if they don't stop the strike something will happen to their dad. Their dad gets killed in the middle of the game. The daughter of the family friends killed him because he sexually abused his daughter. No one really liked him very much because he was mean. Lou Searing finds the killer and student athletes are still not paid.
Review: I really didn't like this book too much. It was a little all over the place and wasn't written very good. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone really.

I did not like this book there was not a lot of football and really throughout the book nothing happened that you really could connect to. During the book it was just people talking to each other and no action and if there was any action the author killed it off very quick.

The book is about players wanting to get paid for playing college football. They talked with many people about being paid but all together they would not be getting paid too much. And then they did get paid but there father was killed.
