3.5 ⭐️ i'm ngl im getting a little sick of this and that makes me so upset bcs i thought this would end up becoming a new favourite manga 😭 the seno arc just pissed me off but at least it wrapped up well
Honestly, that was a great way to handle the love triangle, but also Seno's just great.
Recap: camping trip, Yuuki and Iori leave Sanae and Kaji to get acquainted and they go make out, Seno and friend go to the hot spring, run into a group that say they recorded a couple making out, Seno confronts them to get the video deleted. Ibuki and Airi talk and agree to be just friends. Everyone's in a weird place, but then the girls all decide to confront their guys, Yuuki goes to talk to Seno but gets roped into work, things get better for everyone, Ibuki isn't leaving for the states anymore, Seno is officially rejected, Iori asks if Yuuki wants to live together.
Absolutely love this story. It's cute, full of fluff, the drawings are just SO beautiful ! I ate up this volume as I did all the others and cannot wait for vol.7 in a month (I already pre-ordered it).
It is nice to see Iori and Yuuki relation grow, how the love triangle made things not as clear and easy as you could expect. And I'm so happy to see more of Sanae love life, as she and Yuuki started this journey together.
And we finally have some answers avec Ibuki... for so long Iori made it sound very mature and grounded, a real "big brother" role-model. But, maybe that's not really the case...
Wha....? (^~^;)ゞ oops I did it again! I read 6 before 5. Which makes why nothing made sense. Grr. I don't even know if I have #5. My manga is all messed up with Diamond's bankruptcy. Sooo... I'll be back after I read 5 and then reread 6.ಠ_ಠ
The art is lovely and I think the brother bs is really over. Thank god. I don’t know right now. I just think everyone deserves to be with someone that is really into them. I don’t appreciate some of the casualness and boundaries to keep someone at arms length but still do things to hook them. I’m hmmmm right now.

This series has genuinely gone downhill for me. What once felt charming now reads as increasingly childish, especially in its portrayal of adult characters and relationships. The drama in this volume feels forced and nonsensical, relying almost entirely on misunderstandings that could be resolved with the most basic adult conversation.
We’re once again asked to entertain the idea of another chance for a character whose role as a love interest has clearly been over for a long time, as if the story itself refuses to acknowledge its own emotional progression. At the same time, another character avoids the “love of his life” because he assumes she doesn’t love him—without ever bothering to actually talk to her. This pattern repeats over and over, dragging the narrative in circles.
Instead of organic conflict or emotional growth, the volume piles on unnecessary drama built on poor communication and questionable character decisions. It’s frustrating to read, especially because it feels so avoidable.
At this point, even the consistently beautiful art—once a major strength of the series—is no longer enough to carry the story. I honestly don’t know why I’m still reading, other than lingering attachment to what this series used to be.
This was so good, the way there were was all this uncertainty was brilliant and dramatic. Yuuki had so much to worry about during this trip, however it just solidified her relationship with Iori. Seno really caused some problems but he was also an amazing friend to Yuuki and Iori, getting that video deleted. Sanae and Kaji were so sweet and cute, Sanae was trying to define the relationship and Kaji was trying to be mature about it. It was hilarious that they got caught up with playing cards the whole time. But the Christmas date is amazing and so romantic. Airi and Ibuki had so many misunderstandings between them, however the way Airi took charged and change them was brilliant and amazing. The progress happening in this volume was brilliant and stunning. Can not wait to see how living together changes the relationship between Yuuki and Iori, also how it will make it even more romantic. The art was lovely and so brilliant, the story was complemented so well. This was worth the read and so enjoyable.

Seno is surprisingly accepting and relaxed given all of the drama in this volume and his initial determination to do what he wanted and see if he had a chance. It's good to see the girl's sticking finding their own courage and making their own moves to secure the futures they want. It's a little surprising that Iori doesn't also sign up for the temp work, though perhaps that would throw off the numbers too much given the constant pairing going on. Even with Seno pursuing Yuuki and creating another triangle, he's always with his friend, so even he always have company. For all of Iori's casual comments where he acts like the other guys confuse him when it comes to their outlooks on relationships, he exhibits a lot of the same emotions and thoughts in his own relationship with Yuuki. This seems even clearer with the ending of this volume and that they both seem to want the same next steps though it wasn't discussed before.

3.5⭐️ The whole arc of Seno chasing after Yuuki was getting kind of tiring, I understand there were mutual feelings when they were in school but she has a boyfriend now so it just feels a little weird that he was still trying to essentially interfere with that because he wanted her to give him a chance. Hopefully this is the end of that rollercoaster and the next volume looks at how the main couple’s relationship evolves with them now moving in together, as well as seeing how the other couples develop :)
