Bound To The Beasts

Rate this book
One beast is bad enough... but three?

Briar Rose always knew she would be married to the highest bidder. So it comes as no surprise when she finds herself at the altar with Cillian Blackwood, a notoriously beastly billionaire.
No one mentioned anything about the other monsters, though.
With his scarred face and hulking brawn, Dane is enough to scare most people out of their skin - literally. And when he isn’t around? The clever, callous Rhys is all too happy to prove there are worse things than fear.
Briar might think she has a plan to escape the beasts without giving anything away...

But what happens when your monsters turn out to be your mates? And all their twisted torments become your wildest fantasies?

It just doesn't quite work for me *spoilers included*

There isn't anything obviously objectionable about this book, nothing that just shouts "ugh", but it's got a lot of little niggling details that bug me.

Briar seems like a good FMC. I don't hate her but I feel disconnected from her. We see tiny glimpses of her past but not enough to understand why she finds her past so traumatic. Why is she refusing food? Why is she skin and bones? What did these experiments entail to make her so damaged? Why would she trust a phone call that came via a stranger's cell phone???
Then we have her father who is completely unknown. We're supposed to hate him but I have more questions than anything. We don't*see* their interactions so it's just vague.

The guys are.... Odd. It's like they're wearing costumes to present this dark overtone but they're fluffy little bunnies in reality. Dane is my favorite and the best of the characters from the start. Rhys and Cillian never mesh their supposed proclivities with the rest of their characters. We don't see enough of them, past or present, to understand the dichotomy. They're caricatures used by an author reaching outside of her genre without a good grasp on the dark romance genre.

The storyline overall is messy, jumpy, and left me feeling like it was a fever dream - bizarre, incomplete and with a lingering sensation that waking up caused you to forget something that must have happened in the dream/story.

Lastly and admittedly most picky of me is the inclusion of this book in the royalverse series. There is literally not a single hint of royalty in the book. It's just crowbarred in somewhere it doesn't fit.

Not all is at it seems in this dark Omegaverse Beauty and the Beast Retelling. I loved all the references to the original story including my favorites, ‘you’ll join us for dinner’ and all the references to roses. Briar is a former prima ballerina and when she was injured her father sets out to find a ‘suitable’ pack. She is sold to Cillian Blackwood and their first meeting is when he lifts her veil at their wedding. Briar is shocked when she finds out he has packmates but the contract she signed only guarantes that Cillian can’t touch her without her explicit consent. Dane and Rhys are furious with Cillian for marrying Briar. They don’t understand his true motives and Cillian isn’t going to tell them either. Cillian is the pack alpha, he’s cold and calculating. Dane is quiet and closed off. He wears a titanium mask to cover the bottom half of his face that was scarred in a fire. Rhys suffers from migraines because of that same fire and has a venomous personality. Briar isn’t your average omega, she has a bark of her and bites back at these alphas. They come to an agreement that Briar can have her freedom if she is not pregnant at the end of her heat in two months. She starts to spend time with each alpha, to her chagrin she begins to develop feelings other than hatred and anger. I found it so interesting that they speak to their alpha/omega as if they are a separate personality. I loved these alphaholes, they’re all my favorite. The spice is hot and these knotty alphas deliver on the dirty talk.

A Few Favorite Quotes:
“I’m not a sparkling bauble. I’m a knife. And if they’re too stupid to see past all the glitter? Their funeral.”

“I used every f*€king thing I could think of to keep you safe. Because that is my religion, Briar. My damnation and salvation and every last breath in between. You. Safe. Here. And mine.”

“You might be the cutest man alive.” I blink, dazed. Reaching for the only argument I have. “I’m a monster.” “Yeah.” She grins wider, popping my car door open with a shrug. “But a really f*€king cute one.”

“Every single word is branded on my soul. And if those promises are the only words this devil ever gets to say to God? I consider them well-spent.”

“What if you’re not the monster in this story, big man? What if you’re the hero?”

“If anyone tries to bite you before I do,” he warns, irises blazing, “they’re de@d.”

“A lock that frees me. Protects me. Saves me. The master of my heart. King of my soul. And you’re my queen.”

“Because these beasts? The ones who were supposed to end me? They’re my eternity.”

MFMM. Virgin fmc/non virgin mmcs (one 2 years celibate, other 2 manwhores no ow after meeting fmc). I don’t understand how 2 of the mmcs “have always wanted and longed for their true mate” but have been sleeping with other women in the meantime 🙄. Sad there wasn’t at least one virgin mmc like in book one.

Briar: (Raven Haired/Omega/fmc) Strong, stubborn, hilariously sarcastic. Love-starved.
Cillian: (Raven Haired/Pack Alpha/mmc) Calculating. Daddy Dom.
Rhys: (Blonde/Alpha/mmc) Alpha-hole.
Dane: (Brunette/Alpha/mmc) Insecure secret sweetheart.

I'm usually so excited for Wright's books, that this being a disappointing read is doubly disappointing.

It doesn't feel finished. It feels like the cliff notes of a story, with fleshed-out sections. It doesn't flow.

The character development is frustrating. The story could have been romantic with the reasons behind the duplicity if it weren't for Rhys's treatment of her. An MMC doesn't get to treat a woman like trash, like an object, like something to use and abuse, then get forgiven when he realizes she's his fated mate. All that means is that he was willing to be a monster until some chance of fate made her valuable in his eyes. This COULD have been rectified by doing a Beauty and The Beast play with his alpha being feral and at fault for his bad behavior, then being saved. It would have worked easily, since the book treats the characters and their inner alphas/omegas as separate entities, and he was already suffering because of his alpha.

AND, one of my pet peeves about omegaverse novels, if an MMC wants nothing more than to find his fated mate, why would they sleep around before they find them? The whole "my one and only is out there, but for now I'm going to use these other women" idea is so gross to me. At least it would make sense for an alpha who never wanted to find their mate.

I also hated how they called her "little girl" and "pretty baby". Infantilizing female characters gives me the heebie jeebies, ESPECIALLY when combined with abusive behavior.

The backstory, which had the potential for being interesting, was left vague and unsatisfying. I was left with SO MANY questions.

The book also didn't feel like it belonged in the same world as the previous Royalverse book.

The only real saving grace of this book was Dane. He was wonderful.

I'm mad that I disliked this book so much.

4.5 rounded up

Briar has always been a pawn to her father. Punished, tested, and pushed to be the perfect omega, now she's been sold when he no longer sees her worth. Starting anew with Cillian Blackwood is the last thing she wants, but she has no choice in the matter. At least she has the chance to leverage a potential heir, and to finally pursue some form of freedom from the men who have sought to keep her caged.

*****

I'm such a sucker for an Ari Wright omegaverse. She has such a talent at not only developing interesting and unique characters, but also dragging them through hell and hurting each other to get to their HEA. Briar was such a great FMC. She had a traumatic history that kept her shut off, angry, and on edge with her own omega's inner desires while she slowly came to care for the Blackwood beasts.

Dane was one of my favourites of the three MMC's. His anger, reticence and self-hatred was such a good base for the soft core that eventually unfolded around Briar. Rhys was unexpected, but I love a mean and awful MMC that's made to eat crow and recover for previous behaviour. Cillian was the most surprising of all, I absolutely was lead astray, even with the small hints the book drops. As I was expecting his secrets to more deeply fall into professional acumen and less into what they ended up being. I absolutely loved the little twist and how we got to know where each character stood at the start of them all coming together.

Overall, this one was sweet, interesting and full of emotions that dragged the characters together against their own battles, and I loved it!

An omegaverse take on Beauty and the Beast, this RH centers around Briar, and her alphas Cillian, Dane, and Rhys. It was pretty well done, each of the MCs had distinct personalities and points of view, and the chapters alternated perspectives for a complete picture, although there was a lot of intrigue and machinations that were dropped like breadcrumbs, slowly and over the course of the book.

Briar’s relationships with each of the men developed in thoughtful and believable (within the canon) ways. 4 and 1/2 stars.

Also don’t jive with designations being internal separate entities that they talk to, another me thing.

I really wanted to love this one - we started strong but the nicknames really drove me insane. I never really got the story of Briar or what happened with her dad and her sister ? also having unmated omegas in the house just walking around was really weird?

the nicknames are ✨ pretty baby, little girl, moonbeam, rosebud, viper….. 😐

I am so bummed I didn’t like this. Everyone’s personality switch at 50% through gave me whiplash and really took my out of the book. And there were so many things that could have made the book more interesting that weren’t flushed out. Such a bummer.

ARC Book Review: Bound to the Beasts by Ari Wright

Alright I just fell headfirst into the delicious chaos that is Bound to the Beasts, and I am NOT coming out the same. This reverse harem, why-choose, omegaverse masterpiece gave me mafia-level intensity without a single mention of the mafia.

We’ve got our girl Briar Rose, thrown into an arranged marriage with Alpha Cillian Blackwood and his pack brothers Rhys and Dane — and let me tell you, this story is dark, it’s sweet, it’s dangerous, and it had me absolutely feral.

Ari Wright’s writing? Flawless. Addictive. Gripping. I was hooked from page one, and I loved that it opened with definitions of the world’s rules — true omegaverse energy, no confusion, just vibes and primal tension.

What really blew my mind was how it twisted shifter law — no actual animal transformations, just internal beasts and instincts woven seamlessly into everyday life. It made the world feel raw and alive without losing that dark romance edge.

And can we talk about the mystery? The intrigue? The quirky butlers, the polished maids, and that delicious upper-class hierarchy that makes you want to both kiss and burn the mansion down? Yeah. That.

This was my first book by Ari Wright, but it will absolutely not be my last. I’m already off to add everything she’s ever written to my TBR because this one was a straight-up banger.

It’s dark, it’s tender, it’s emotionally intelligent — and just when I thought I’d recovered from the heartthrobbing, Ari drops a K-pop demon reference and I snorted

And look, I’m a why-choose girl through and through… but my heart? My whole heart belongs to Dane. The scarred, masked, tattooed enforcer with a killer’s hands and a marshmallow center. I am not okay.

4.5 ⭐️ thank you Ari Wright and Greys Promotions for an e-ARC in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts are my own!

Bound to the Beasts was the perfect pallet cleanser for me after hitting a reading rut. With its blend of family drama, dark romance, and the overall reimagining of Beauty and the Beast, I couldn’t put it down. The characters and relationships were so well-balanced and thoughtfully written. Their development felt realistic, and I really appreciated how their changes unfolded.

Briar was the perfect omega for this pack of wiley alphas and she definitely made them work for it! Dane was my favorite of the 3, I really liked how he was the big, scary alpha, but under the mask he just wanted to be loved and accepted. Rhys had me gasping and on the edge of my seat with his broody demeanor and his character development was definitely the highlight for this book. And Cillian!!!!! That man did everything in his power to support Briar even when she hated him and I LOVED him for that, he was a leader and knew what everyone needed and I couldn’t get enough of him.

The imagery and setting were vivid and immersive, creating the perfect atmosphere for the tension and emotion woven through the story. The twist that happened genuinely surprised me, and I loved the excitement it added to the plot!!

I did hope to learn more about Briar’s lost sister in this book, but even without, I was satisfied with this happy ending and getting to see Briar, Cillian, Dane, and Rhys figure out how to trust and love each other. I love Ari and all of her omegaverse books, so it wasn’t a surprise that book 2 in the Royalverse was a hit! If you’re thinking about reading this book, I’d highly recommend you do!!

I received Bound To the Beasts in return for an honest review.

I loved Briar she's such a great character you can't help loving her right from the start her men are a little rough around the edges but each one brings something unique to the relationship. It's hard to pick my favorite as I can't imagine not having them all. I really enjoyed the relationship between they have this strong bond that Briar just competes.

I knew the moment I saw the cover that I had to read this one as I've loved every book of the authors that I've read. I didn't read the synopsis so I went into it blind and loved every moment of the story. I ended up reading the whole book from start to finish in one afternoon it was impossible to put down till the very last page.

The characters are engaging and I was able to connect with them and cheered them on through the whole story. I loved the bookstore visit it was steamy and just a perfect scene for all of us book lovers. The author has done a beautiful job creating a captivating romance that stole a place in my heart. It's a perfect balance of story with just the right amount of spice. I highly recommend if you enjoy omegaver romance with characters to fall in love with. One of my favorite omegavers stories and I just loved it.

I absolutely loved and adored this book!

The FMC - Briar, I loved how she didn't take any of the bs from the MMCs in the book. She stood her ground and was very opinionated on when it came to her well-being.

The MMCs - Cillian, Rhys, and Dane - each had their own opinion of Briar.
Cillian, who is the pack leader, will do things to protect his pack and protect his mate.
Rhys has been wanting a mate, and when his pack leader marries and brings her home, he wasn't too happy about it.
Dane will go with what his pack leader decides, but he will always protect.

The dynamic with the FMC and MMCs was great! She complimented each of MMCs. Brought out something from each of the men that no one sees and only for her.

Thank you to the author and @TheSmuthood for providing ARC for an honest review.

One of my FAVORITE retelling!

💜I was given an ARC of this book💜

Let me say first how perfectly these characters were written, especially the MMC’s. Most of the time I always have a favorite in a reverse harem. This is the first time I genuinely loved each Beast for different reasons, but equally. For real…if you could combine each one, you’d have the most perfect character ever created.

This universe, or as described as an Omegaverse, was exquisite. If you’ve ever read ACOTAR, the. You know how immersive the Courts were. I felt like I was in this Omegaverse while I was reading. Normally I don’t like a lot of “stuff” to read before chapter 1 even begins, but in this instance, I thought the explanation of the Omegaverse was a great addition.

Retellings are very risky in my opinion and I feel like there’s a fine line between balanced and then overdone. When I tell you that I’d read every single retelling this author ever wrote, I’m hooked! I’ve been disappointed too many times to count. In fact, I think it’s my most DNF’d genre/trope. And of all the retellings to tackle, my all time favorite fairytale, Beauty and the Beast. So major kudos to the author. Well done!

This book MUST go to the top of your TBR to finish out your 2025 reads! Heck, I might even go do a re-read!

If you love fairytale retellings, Beauty and the Beast, Reverse Harems and extremely OBSESSIVE MMC’s……. Bound To The Beasts is for YOU!!!

Happy Reading 📖

Briar is an injured ex ballerina, when her father sets up to find her a pack. Telling her to Killian, and arranged marriage, they don’t meet until they’re getting married! With a contract saying, he can’t touch her without their consent, but not knowing he has a pack. His pack is in particular thing and.Rhys, are mad for marrying her and don’t know or understand his motives. He won’t let them in on it either.
Cillian is the alpha. He’s cold and calculating and restless.
Dane is a quiet post office one
Rhys
Where I love her, she isn’t afraid to hold back and fights back at these alpha holes. And no shit taker. They make a pact, that if she isn’t pregnant after two months while in heat, they will set her free. But feelings developed when she starts spending time with them. The spices hot! Left the dirty tall! Loved the different POV and personalities. I can’t wait to read more from this author I ate this up! If u like omega verse, alphaholes, and retelling! I definitely think you’ll like this 🔥

This was a great read! This is a Beauty and the Beast reimagining - not closely following it but has elements and vibes. The dark/gothic vibes drew me in right away. It has a fancy-yet-gloomy feel. This is a bit of a dark romance (I’d say more gray than dark really as a non-dark reader myself): powerful families, rivalries, dabbling in shady stuff type of drama, mafia-esque though not quite. But as the trope list for this book says - it’s dark and sweet.

There’s initially a hint of not knowing what exactly is happening and what the dynamics are but this drew me in heavily - the atmosphere and mystery of it all. There’s definitely some suspense running through the book, and I’m not a big suspense person, but at the peak of that storyline I was absolutely captivated. I caught myself, in public at a cafe, making big faces like being all wide-eyed and my hand holding my forehead while I read 😂😂

When more about Cillian and Rhys gets revealed, my heart just ached for them and more things start clicking into place about who they are and why they do and don’t want what they want. You soften to these rough men and start seeing the connection and vulnerabilities poking through for them with Briar. Dane is pretty much a bad boy outside with teddy bear inside off the bat, so cute and provides a good early anchor to hang some positivity onto.

Ari’s writing gets me every time, I enjoy the descriptive language she uses at points - just beautiful.

You really get a feel for each guy in this as well as the FMC Briar who has some grit/backbone to her that I really enjoy and sometimes don’t often get in omegaverse so it was a nice aspect! I liked that every character was pretty distinctive but meshed together well.

Of course, there is also plenty of open-door spice as expected for an OV book. It didn’t feel excessive and fit in the story well, which I appreciated.

Overall a great read, can definitely recommend this one!

This is the first book I have read by this author and it most certainly be the last. I am a big fan of omegaverse romances so I knew especially with the tropes that this book would be right up my street.

Initially when I started this book even though it being titled ‘bound to the beasts’ I was under the assumption that it was going to loosely follow the tale of sleeping beauty and this was mainly down to our FMCs name being Briar Rose but I quickly discovered it actually loosely followed beauty and the beast which is my favourite fairytale and let’s be honest it is a perfect for an omegaverse story.

The book opens where Briar is at the altar with an alpha who goes by the name Cillian Blackwood- yes her father exchanged her hand in marriage so he could develop his inventions, but Briar soon came to realise that while she was married to Cillian he also came with two pack members Rhys and Dane.

Each of the pack members all had different personalities- Cillian was calm and calculating, Rhys was grumpy and brooding, while Dane was tough on the outside but he had a soft heart. Our FMC Briar I loved her- she definitely stood her ground when it came to the alphas, Rhys more so than anyone else because while he for sure had his issues Briar wasn’t going to stand for that treatment.

While at the beginning of the story Briar is led to believe that the main reason that Cillian married her was so that she could produce an heir to secure his grandfathers empire but as the story develops and secrets unravel we quickly learn that this is certainly not the case.

I don’t want to give too much away about this story as it would ruin the overall reading experience but overall I really enjoyed this story from start to finish. Each of these characters have high walls built around them in the early chapters but as the story unfolds we see these walls slowly come down and a bond develop between them all.

Thank you to the author agency who provided this e-arc for my honest thoughts 💭

Oh my lord, WHAT A BOOK!! I knew I loved Ari's writing but I did not expect it to end up that good!! What did she put into this book to make it so addictive like that, hands down I could not stop reading this book, I breezed through it in a matter of hours and still that was not enough even though we have so much plot and the ending is amazing, I want to stay with them all forever!

The plot for this book was so unique in a way, I saw none of it coming which means that it is automatically an amazing book if it can surprise me with anything and I was surprised a lot to say the least. So many twists and turns, I did not know where to look while I was reading.

Our story follows Briar who has been used as a pawn all her life and that certainly did not stop when her father gave her up to be married to the highest bidder, that being our Alpha Cillian, did I mention it is omegaverse!! Makes everything so much better!! Cillian also happens to have two other Alphas in his pack those being, Dane and Rhys. All three of these men are so uniquely different from what you would expect. I have to say from the start Dane was my favourite Alpha and still is but Cillian and Rhys are both amazing once they redeemed themselves.

I loved how fierce Briar was and how she craved for independence which the new pack she was married into showed her, the plot is so twisted and complicated, it is very difficult to say anything other than all you can do is read the book, get sucked in and discover the wonderful world that this book transports you to.

Morally Grey. Beauty & the Beast. Omegaverse. Who knew those three very different tropes would be absolute fire together?!

THOUGHTS 💭
🌹 From the start, this book was dark and moody and mysterious; I loved falling into this world and these characters.
🖤 Retellings can be hit or miss for me and this Beauty & the Beast retelling HIT. I loved all of the ways Ari chose to stay true to this “tale as old as time,” as well as all of the ways she added her own spin.
🌹 Briar was a sassy FMC who is locked into an arranged marriage she didn’t want. She looked out for herself, like always, because she never had anyone else to look out for her.
🖤 The vibes of this book are perfect for October - they’re a bit spooky, gothic, and darker than Ari’s normally sweet omegaverses. As Briar and her three Alphas start to trust each other, the darkness turns to sweet spice and thoughtful MMCs.
🖤 I love the yearning and “must have” vibes in an omegaverse; the omega is truly the center of everything and the care that these Alphas give Briar in the end is everything.
🌹 My jaw dropped at multiple points throughout this read - WOAH the twists and turns!
🖤 My heart was just so happy for this pack. For all the pain and sadness and anger these characters felt, they ended up finding the happiest ever after!

Thanks so much to Ari Wright for the ARC of this book!

I really loved this book!
The idea of doing a Beauty and the Beast retelling — but darker, with three beasts instead of one and a good dose of spice — was just perfect. It takes a story we all know and gives it a fresh, thrilling, and emotional twist that completely pulled me in from the start.
Briar was such a fantastic main character. I loved that she’s a former ballerina — graceful yet fierce — a little grumpy, bold, and definitely not afraid to stand up to the three intimidating alphas. On the surface, she’s strong and determined, but her past carries a lot of pain, and that vulnerability made her feel so human and relatable.
Cillian, Rhys, and Dane were all amazing in their own unique ways.
Each of them has his own personality, strengths, and emotional wounds, and I loved how their relationships with Briar developed differently. There’s that perfect mix of enemies-to-lovers tension, reluctant attraction, and instant connection that keeps you completely hooked.
The spicy scenes were absolutely incredible — passionate, intense, but also deeply emotional.
I also really enjoyed how the story resolved the whole situation with Briar’s father and Cillian’s grandfather (no spoilers here, but… let’s just say I was cheering the entire time!). It was so satisfying and felt like the perfect payoff for everything Briar had gone through.
I can’t wait to read more from this world!

Beauty and the Beast reimagining but make it omegaverse? Yes please!

Briar is an omega who finds herself in a contract marriage.. but when she gets to her new home she discovers her groom also has a pack. One is broody and domineering, one is a straight up bootyhole, and one is big and scary on the outside but a total softy on the inside.

This was definitely darker and deeper than I expected, Briar’s back story broke my heart and the things the guys went through really tugged on my heart strings.

I love that even though Briar grew up sheltered and very innocent despite what she went through, she did not let these alpha-holes walk all over her - she was strong and stabby and we love that. And I also love how soft and sweet her omega was in contrast. Reading everyone finally get on the same page was definitely the best part (I love when the FMC gets loved on the most).

Thank you so much to The Smuthood & Ari Wright for the ARC, excited for the next one!

I am convinced that no one does Omegaverse as well as Ari Wright. Combined with my all-time favorite fairytale, this was just perfection for me! The heroine was fun as well - strong and sassy without being annoying with it.

The only negative is that I've followed this series from Day 1 of the first book being released, and it is a long wait between releases!

Edit: It is worth mentioning, though, that the Author’s Note at the beginning of the book almost had me closing the book. Cillian is never pronounced “Sillian.” Ever. It’s always pronounced “Killian.” That would be like Rhys (another one of her characters) being pronounced “Rise” instead of the actual pronunciation of “Reese.” It just wouldn’t happen anymore than Jack would be pronounced Jock or Xander would be Exander. I’m a little protective over Irish names. ☺️

As soon as i saw The Smuthood was offering an omegaverse, i knew i needed it. I had no idea just how GOOD it was going to be. This is my first book from Ari Wright & it definitely won’t be the last. I wish i could read this one again for the first time. Feel all the emotions for the first time.

“Great.
Fantastic.
Candelabras. Gothic architecture. And arranged marriage.
It’s the fucking fourteenth century in here.”

Briar is a fighter, she’s smart & sassy & exactly what i love in an FMC.

Coggins cracks me the fuck uppp. 🤣🤣
“No, sir. YOU clearly didn’t have the benefit of a mother.” 💀

Their relationships are so good. I’m giggling & kicking my feet watching them all come together & make their pack. Also, he’s followed her for years & she had no idea. 😭😭😭🥰🥰🥰 the groveling is so good. Everything about this story has my heart.

“I only wanted to see you dance again, Briar.” 😩😭🥰

This book was so pretty too. Little drawings on the pages. I love everything about it. But the best part? No third act breakups. 🥰 Ari Wright just letting everyone be in love & happy.

“They’re my eternity.”

Okay, wow. Ari Wright did it again. Bound to the Beasts might just be my favorite Royalverse book so far.

This is a Beauty and the Beast retelling — but make it omegaverse, make it why choose, and sprinkle in arranged marriage + enemies to lovers + forced proximity and you’ve basically got my catnip. 😏

Briar (our black cat ballerina) is forced to marry Cillian, a dominant and calculating pack leader… except she doesn’t know she’s also marrying his pack. Cue her moving into their mansion, cut off from the outside world, and realizing she’s got to share her life with not just Cillian, but also Dane (morally grey cinnamon roll) and Rhys (charming alphahole). The tension? Off. The. Charts.

This one definitely leans darker than the first book, but it’s still full of those soft, tender, surprisingly sweet moments that Ari Wright does so well. There’s so much angst, bickering, flirty banter, and yes — some serious groveling that totally hit the spot.

What really got me, though, was the character depth. Each of them has reasons for being the way they are, and by the end, I genuinely felt for all of them. Their growth felt earned, and the emotional payoff was just chef’s kiss. The bit of suspense subplot added the perfect touch of mystery, too. I couldn’t stop reading and now I’m counting the days until the next Royalverse story.

i — 🤯

in the beginning of the story we have briar, who we quickly see is being put in a position that she HATES and has no choice over.

pan to the three alphas who now have her … and there’s so much to uncover.

starting off i didn’t think i would be as down bad for these men as i am … i can’t lie i was so scared a certain blonde alpha wasn’t going to win me over … until he did 🤭

briar was such a fun FMC because she was sassy and while sometimes the guys did scare her, she put up a fight as well - which i LOVE to see in an omega.

cillian, cillian, cillian … wow … that is MY man 😭 that’s all imma say.

i loved reading more about their alphas/omega and how they interacted with them, i’ve read so many different omegaverses and this one was so unique with its elements of how it unraveled.

thank you greys promo & ari wright for the arc — all thoughts and opinions are my own!
