She’s the new PR knockout, and totally off-limits—but I’ll have her begging for trouble.
Wild nights, puck bunnies, and one too many bar brawls have our team’s reputation on thin ice.
Livia Moody? She’s here to fix the damage.
A PR hellcat with a clipboard full of demands and a no-nonsense attitude.
She thinks she can keep me in line. Cute.
But those sassy comebacks and fiery blue eyes are too easy to fall for… and I’m already gone.
New city, new job, and she’s taking on the LA Panthers' headquarters like she owns the place, and swearing she can keep us strictly business.
But the way she shivers when I lean in too close? Sweetheart, that’s not professional.
She’s fighting this. Fighting me.
But I’ve built my career on breaking down defenses.
Now, “off-limits” isn’t just a rule in her contract—it’s a ticking time bomb.
And the heat between us is about to detonate.
She came here to control my chaos, but she just signed up to be my hottest scandal.
Dirty Play is a spicy standalone, enemies-to-lovers, off-limits, workplace hockey romance. This is book two in the LA Panthers series with a guaranteed HEA! When a scandal-ridden hockey captain goes head-to-head with the PR firecracker hired to fix his image, will breaking the rules lead to the ultimate penalty—or the biggest win for love?
A ferocious reader, a story weaver, and a lover of all things steamy and romantic. Her head is always in the clouds dreaming up the Hella Hunky male characters that will keep your heart racing. She writes men with the perfect amount of charm, wit, humor, class, and five o’clock shadow to make your insides quiver. Her heart throbs, heartbreaks, and HEA will always keep you coming back for more.
This is book two of the L.A. Panthers series. This is a Hockey 🏒 romance story. It is an enemies to lovers romance. This book is very spicy 🌶️ 🌶️🌶️.
This story is about a guy named Rowan DiMarco. He is a walking highlight reel and a PR nightmare. He racks up points like a beast and penalties, trades fists. He dominates out on the ice. He meets a woman named Livia Moody. She is off-limits to him.
Rowan has wild nights, puck bunnies and one too many bar brawls. She becomes the new PR manager for the L.A. Panthers. She moves to a new city for the job with the Panthers. She has a no-nonsense attitude. She thinks that she can keep Rowan in line. Rowan and Livia have a strong attraction towards each other. However she works for the team and they can’t be sleeping or seeing each other. She’s fighting her attraction towards him. She is also fighting him. He works to break down her defenses. She tries to work to contain his chaos but she signed up to be his biggest scandal. This book had heat, angst and spice and I loved reading it.
Olivia was going to begin her new job as the new Pr agent of Panthers Hockey team. Before she passed to take a coffee, while waiting after a good cue,she was next and when she was telling the barista what shw wanted,’a guy came next to her like he didn’t consider her presence, she told him what came to her mouth. When she went to meet the teamates she couldn’t believe that he was one of the Panther’s. She organized a meeting and sent a massage while they were on the gym,he told his friends he’s not going to attend, when he was finishing his last rep the door of the gym opened and she entered, she told him that he ‘s the Captain and he has to give a good example. when she called to him to tell him that she made an appointment with the press for the interview he ignored her.she didn’t know that he hated the press, she insisted and when he was fed up came up if you kiss me i will do it,she blackmailed him if he didn’t accept she could report to the HR. Rowan hated the press and he swore that He wanted her out of the team and to do that ,he make her fall for him. Looking forward fpr Ares story 🥰 A book that I really enjoyed reading a good chemistry between the couple, I couldn’t stop until I finished it,the writing is excellent as well. Highly recommended .
This is professional hockey, enemies to lovers hockey romance. The page number seems high but the spacing and the short paragraphs helps increase the number so don’t let that deter you. It is a fast read.
Rowan is the team captain and one of the three stars of the team. Book one is about Damien. He is the player and enforcer. Ares is the dark and quiet one with fast shot. This book however is about Rowan. He has a rough history with the press so when the new PR person starts and wants him to do an interview he refuses like always. She is persistent though and he gets annoyed with her rather than dealing with his own turmoil. Ares sees all. Knows all. So when he suggests a way for Rowan to get rid of her I suspect he knew the path he was putting him on. Letting him figure it out along the way.
Livia is strong and you can’t help but like her and her tenacity. She earns her nickname from Rowan.
I would have liked the epilogue to be more than one final spicy scene. I wish we could have learned more about what happens with HR and the rest of administration.
I liked Rowan in the first book in the series, but I was surprised by his personality in this book… in a good way. Protective brother in book one was nice, but smexy, alpha male in book two? I was here for it! I enjoyed learning more about him and his backstory because it gave insight into his reactions and made him more sympathetic.
Rowan is a strong character, and I loved that Livia wasn’t a pushover and was able to hold her own with him. She definitely kept him on his toes, and some of their banter was priceless! As for the chemistry between the two? Let’s just say scorching and leave it at that.
Although I enjoyed book one, I fell harder for this one. I can’t wait for Ares’ story!
Livia and Rowens story. Livia is the new PR person sent to get Rowen and the hockey team back in good graces with media. Rowan, is of course, a hockey player who detests media and refuses to do personal interviews. When Livia tells Rowan he’s going to do an interview since he is the team captain, he is less than thrilled and lets her know about it.
This was not my favorite in this series. Still a good book, but for whatever reason it just didn’t have the same appeal for me as the others. It started out good and then kind of lost it a little midway.
I don’t usually do reviews but I wanted to offer support for a new author. I read a lot of romance books by authors at the top of their game and I found this book to hold up very well. Livia was pretty awkward receiving flirting and sexual innuendo but she was no pushover. Rowan was a strong hunky character who really came through for Livia when it counted. There were a couple of phrases that were too repetitious and in sex scenes Livia couldn’t seem to say much except “Rowan” but those are minor complaints. The sex was steamy and most of their serious conversations were riveting and well written.
If Rowan looks anything like the green-eyed hunk on the cover, then I will be willing to play dirty with him. :) Livia is not looking for anything but to help Rowan get out of trouble, but trouble might be looking for her when he sets his eyes on her. This romance book has lots of emotions that will take you on a roller coaster ride with heat, romance and everything in between. Vitina has done a FABOULOUS job writing this book and I suggest you read it today to get a little bit of action in your kindle.
bro had two moves and that was 1) cause her to fall and then catch her, and 2) sexually harass her in their shared place of work. it’s okay tho because he’s hot. not okay when the evil old hag alegra does it tho.
this book was pretty narsty. the smut was so icky i had to skim thru it. livia was breasting boobily constantly.
there was zero hockey. also, why was rowan so mean to his goalie? how did he become captain? i love u langley u have never done anything wrong in ur life
read it in full for the off brand tom wilson on the cover
Livia Moody gets a job working PR for the LA Panthers Hockey team. Her work is cut out for her, especially with the team's captain, Rowan DiMarco. They are like oil and water, and he wants her gone. The story builds up to an explosion of epic proportions. When the dust settles, Rowan has changed his thought process. Can he get Livia back? Pick up the enjoyable Dirty Play book and find out.

I devoured this book! Our dear author created a MMC that I absolutely hated, and I hated that he had plans to hurt our sweet FMC.
The humour at the start hooked me, then the drama started and I just couldn’t tear myself away. The gut punch betrayal scene just hurt, no matter how much you prepared yourself for it.
Now I want to go back and read the first one, and any future books in the series!.

Rowan who the captain of the hockey league, and Livia who is the new PR.
Livia is just hired as the new PR agent for the LA Blades. Rowan is the captain of said LA Blades. They get off to a bad start because Rowan doesn’t like her because she stands up to him and won’t back down. He makes a bet with a few team members about her and she finds out.
Both books in this series are well worth reading. Am waiting on Ares story.
I loved this book. I was invested in this book from the first page. I love the back and forth and tension between Livia and Rowan. The book was so well done. The plot was great. It has a bunch of twists that kept me intrigued. The spice between the 2 main characters was top notch and amazing. I could not put this down. I highly recommend.
This is the best read I’ve had in so long! I love the characters, from protagonist to team, and when I say, what’s the most intriguing, captivating, romantic story ever, I can only say one thing. THIS IS IT!!! Thank you so much. And I would love to read about Ares, Damian, and so many more,
I love hockey romance. I read a lot and leave reviews always! But this is by far the best book I’ve read in a long time! Like I would read it again and again. I loved both characters, Rowan was just this aplha male but sweet and tender. Will read the other books!
This book immediately drew me in with its sharp humor, but it was the unfolding drama that truly held me captive. The betrayal scene was a gut punch—powerful and affecting, no matter how much I thought I was ready for it. This romance takes readers on an emotional journey filled with passion, intensity, and heartfelt moments.
This is a great steamy possessive work place romance. When Livia becomes the Panthers new apartment manager, sparks immediately fly between her and team captain Rowan. What ensues is a steamy game of want and push/pull power plays. Love seeing more of everyone we met in the first book.

The tension, the banter. I loved the female characters tenacity. I do think she could have put up more of a fight but not complaining. The male character was hard for me because his actions were complete red flags. Also feel like the villain didn’t get their just desserts.
Fire and Frost Rowan is the bad boy of hockey. All fire on the ice and off. Livia is frost, the PR rep sent to keep him in line. But fire always melts the frost! And it will, time after time, after time!
I didn’t even bother reading the epilogue. How are you going to forgive a man who tried to ruin your career in this economy??? Also, every description of Ares made me crack up. I get he was supposed to be mysterious and dark but that final showdown was so cringy 😭

Wow! Again crying, smiling and then a bit more crying this had me feeling all the emotions at first I thought the mmc was a bit to mean but I quickly dropped that cause it was done so well oh my lord!!
I loved this book fast read very spicy I recommend it if you like spicy. Hockey reads are my favorites right now . please take some time to read this book I'm on to the next book in this series
Man I loved this story. A great shouldn’t happen but does anyway story. They had such chemistry and the heat was off the charts. I loved these two together so much. The team was great with her too. These guys are great and I love this series.
Decided to get this book as a palette cleanser after reading some pretty dark books. So glad I picked this up. Stayed up all night to finish it. Such a cute book and had my feet kicking and my cheeks blushing. 🤣
Really liked this story. Especially how she didn't write a bunch a filler. The story is told and there is not scrap that doesn't pertain to the character or the story. It has all the feels. Can definitely recommend. Heartless by Michelle Horst delivers! “The Screw Crew” men are uber sexy, alpha driven and loyal to the core. They are also funny and fiercely protective of women regardless of how they project themselves to be in public
The story of Rowan and Livia is beautiful and relatable. Love seeing the love story unfold. Not to mention how team becomes family. This story has it all.
