WOW Nichole did it again. I love me a good age gap then toss in the body guard! This story follows Daniel and Rachel. Rachel is a daughter to a rich man and she has had issues in the past which requires her to have a security guard. They both have crushes on each other and rachel gets herself in a pickle where she includes Daniel and her to fake date. && that is only the beginning! The spice and connection are all here as well as the mystery! When i thought I knew what happened and who did what I was soooo wrong!

Twisted Indulgence is a dark romance between Rachel and Daniel.
Rachel is a gang family heiress and Daniel is her personal bodyguard. A fake date leads to real feelings and the chemistry is palpable.
Both characters are flawed and under the assumption they can't find love due circumstances beyond their control, which isn't exactly wrong. The way those fears are played out in the narrative makes this a more poignant and touching narrative than I've usually seen with this genre. And it's done in a novella, which is impressive. There's also a plot twist that I definitely didn't see coming.
Rachel's character is young and makes mistakes you'd expect from someone in their 20s.
Daniel is older. He's morally grey but comes across with a good heart that makes the character endearing.
I don't know how to rate spice levels, but it's open door.
I thought the age gap was overplayed a bit, I would've preferred it to be more subtle. However, that may be common to an age gap trope and is not necessarily a criticism but more of a personal preference.
If you like morally grey MMV, feisty FMC, and the drama that comes with being born into a criminal family, then this one is for you.

This amazing novella Twisted Indulgence written by Nichole Steel was absolutely a 5 star read. I loved all the twists and turns that had me guessing until the very end.
Rachel, the FMC, is a daughter whose dad decided she needed protection because of his line of work. As part of her protection, she learns how to take care of herself as well. She is strong and independent with a soft side and a big heart for only one person, and she knows it can't happen.
Daniel, the MMC, works for her dad and is her bodyguard. He has a past and does what he needs to, to get the job done and protect his client. He is all about work, and when work gets a little twisted, things get a little messy. Daniel is as protective as they come and takes his responsibilities seriously.
Will a small little lie ruin a strong bond and friendship between Daniel and Rachel? Shhh... I'm not gonna say anything. You really really REALLY need to grab this novella when it releases and read it for yourself. You won't regret it.

Twisted indulgence... I didn't know this author but she won me over with this novella. What I liked about this story. That the two protagonists are imperfect and like most of us makes it difficult for them to find love... But what happens when a false date will bring not only feelings but also much more? I loved how Rachel and Daniel's fears are treated making the narration almost touching unlike other novels of the same genre. I definitely loved Daniel who is truly morally gray but you will fall in love with his heart and soul. Truly intriguing. I also loved the age difference and in my opinion the level of spice was absolutely right. There is a twist that will leave you speechless but I can't say more. This novel was a pleasure to read and I definitely want to read more by Nichole Steel.

Twisted Indulgence was my very first mafia romance. What a ride! This age-gap romance features a strong, young, female protagonist and an older bodyguard. The story is full of drama one might expect from a crime family.
Twisted Indulgence is a dark romance novella that begins with a fake dating scheme and ends with a HEA. However, you will not want to miss any of the spicy sex scenes in the middle. If you love sex on the page, Steel delivers. This fast, fun novella satisfied my desire for an escape from reality, and I’m looking forward to reading more from Nichole Steel.

This was such a fun, quick read—I finished it in one sitting! It's a novella, but don't let the length fool you. It had everything: spice, plot, and a plot twist that totally caught me off guard!
The FMC is the daughter of a powerful gang leader, and the MMC is her protective bodyguard. There's about a 15-year age gap between them, but their chemistry? Off the charts. What started as a fake date turned into a spicy, intense relationship! The MMC gives total if you touch her, you energy.

Nichole Steel once again has stunned me with an amazing story! Bodyguard, age gap, gangs, and an unbelievable twist! I was hooked from the first couple of pages and when the midpoint came in, I was losing my mind.The climax of it all shook me to my core and made me so anxious to see what happened next. Seriously, such an amazing pairing and I loved them so much! Trust me when I say that it's going to blow your mind and honestly can not recommend enough!

I really enjoyed reading this Novella! There were so many moments of care they each showed one another and yet they were both badasses in their own rights! Daniel outwardly and Rachel had a hidden streak of it! I would definitely recommend this short, entertaining read!

This was a great fake dating age gap story. I only call it fake dating as it kinda is and isnt lol. Body guard and his client. Feelings there feelings hidden till a situation occurs and begin the fake dating that ends in dating lol There is drama in this and twists and turns. The spicy is cute and spicy at the same time. Really enjoyed this story and have gone to check on more from this author!

This was a quick read with low angst, no third act breakup and forbidden romance. If you’re looking for something spicy and with a guaranteed HEA then Twisted Indulgence is perfect for you.

When I tell you I ran to read this the minute, I saw age-gap and forbidden romance. This was truly an enjoyable read from start to finish. I loved the bit of friend drama and watching Daniel give in to temptation. This story is the perfect blend of sweet and spicy. Fans of stories that are open door, body guard, age gap forbidden romance make sure to check this one out.

I loved this novella! It was short and sweet but didn’t feel rushed. The MMC was protective, sweet and caring. If you loved the early 2000s movie “First Daughter” with Katie Holmes movie then you should totally check out this book. Because let’s be honest, who wouldn’t want to fall in love with the hot bodyguard?!

Twisted Indulgence, by Nicole Steel, was my first book by this author. It was also my first age gap trope book choice for my reading club’s August Bingo card. I liked it! I appreciate that the author delivered a very romantic storyline and presented strong main characters. This fast-paced novella covered everything a full-length novel could have presented in easy-to-read short chapters and a HEA.

This is my first time reading Nichole Steel’s books and this novella has me hooked! Daniel and Rachel’s story is full of romance and action that made me devour this book in one sitting. I really enjoyed Daniel’s morally grey character with his charm and protective demeanor. I appreciated that Rachel’s character acted appropriately for someone in their 20s with little experience. The plot line was great and the plot twist was really unexpected for me which made me enjoy the book even more. I can’t wait to read Nichole Steel’s other works! If you love age gap and bodyguard romances, this book is a must!

This was a fast paced novella that started with a fake date but turned into more. Bodyguard and younger charge who set off fireworks together. Throw in some gang drama and this book had it all. Perfect for a palette cleanser after some longer drawn out books.
