Seems like it took forever to finish. Too much to follow and try and keep up with and no it wasn’t the ending I expected but so thankful it was over. Somehow I knew Margaret was being duped again the way he swooped in and was so ready and willing to make everything better for her; he was just too good to be true!

Roger McKenzie was the founder and director of Voices of Triumphant Praise Gospel Choir.
They was going on a tour and ended up having an accident and because so much was happening Reverend Vince told Roger that maybe it wasn't meant to be but he wanted to continue but after singing in D.C Roger decided to halt the rest of the tour. He was trying so hard to climb that ladder so fast.
Roger started having nightmares because he was keeping a secret and than he finally told Ty his cousin and the Reverend that years ago he was stressed and depressed because he didn't win the contest and he started drinking and got behind the wheel of a car and ended up killing this lady in a hit and run accident.

This was a new author for me and I really like Ms. Mason's story. There were so many characters, at times I found it hard to keep up. But in all fairness, I think it was more so because I had the audio book. I would have to start parts over just to make sure who they were talking about.

The characters themselves were very entertaining and diverse. The author did a really nice job weaving a web of interconnected stories that were very real. I think I've seen this choir perform a time or two.
