What can I say? This book was fantastic. This author duo team knows how to write a final conclusion that answers all questions or concerns any reader had regarding The Seduced Saga.. I was sadden to have finished it so quickly, but I had a "Woo Hoo" moment when I found out that another series would be following some of the characters from this series...
Let me just say this..I'm one to judge a book by it's cover..with that said all the book covers for this series is "Awesome". They will capture the eye of the reader and fits a scene or scenes within the books...
The pace of this story was fast and steady throughout this story. Though I have to say that it lagged just a little towards the end. I loved that many questions/concerns I had during the series were all answered throughout the book series, including this one. This story had many twists and turns that grab the reader into turning the pages as quickly as possible to find out the answers.
This author duo team continues to amaze me with their storytelling abilities. I've read many books by this author duo team and they have never disappointed me.
The characters: main and secondary, continue to grow within the stories, and this one was outstanding. The characters were made so realistically with the ups and downs in relationships, and situations/obstacles faced. What I just adore is that no matter where each character came from, they had family that supported them to the fullest. Many didn't have a blood family, but what they got was more..I love when authors takes an outsider and makes them part of the family. Many of these characters continue to grow stronger within the story.
I don't feel the need to go into this story, but I will say this to readers.....Get this series...and read it...I would recommend this story to all readers that love betrayal, naughty romance, suspense, and intrigue. You want go wrong with this series.....
And to all my fellow readers..there is another series out that follows this one.

The fifth and final book in the seduced series is epic. Combining The Forbidden trilogy to the Seduced series and opening up another amazing series by karpov Kinrade. The Court of nightfall. I love how they brought all three together . It never amazes me how they keep u glued to the books with twists and turns making u want more and more. This is my Favorite series from these two. I fell in love with Rose and Derek from the start and always cried when the books were over because I couldn't wait until the next one came out.
Book Five continues with the killing of paranormals and them trying to find the killer. Ryder wasn't the one but Derek took his life because he almost killed his best friend or did Ryder not die? Rose struggles with finding out Derek killed Ryder and with her new shifting issues turning into other animals is not allowed so Talon comes to help. Talon is like her able to shift into many. He can teach her control. Drake also struggles with his hew powers being an angel he fears for the Safety of his family and after the beast attacks agai he begs his father to train him . He father explains the court of nightfall will use him to do there bidding but he doesn't care he wants to protect his family.
What's happens when all u love is taken and it all is going to be destroyed. Will they prevail in their fight or be at the mercy of the monsters? What an amazing ending!!
This is definitely one I couldn't put down. Find out what happens in the end . I am so upset it's over. I fell in love with these characters and am looking forward to the next series Court of Nightfall.

I started out buying Seduced: Rose's Story (books 1-3) and I was hooked had to have them all. Teenages in love and that love is tearing them apart. I won't give anything away here but if you love paranormal books with a little sex nothing earth shaking but not for kids either then this is a series you won't want to pass up. Seduced By Darkness:is the last in a series and the writers the duo of awesomeness that make up this team saved the best for last. At least I think its the last.?? This story Seduced by Darkness is an ARK book given to me for my review so lets get that out of the way first. Now I absolutly loved this story it brought out OH NO's from me to where my dogs looked at me like "are you a crazy lady". To OH Thank you". Sam and Derek have servived so much and to almost lose each other so many times it all comes to down one last show down that they never saw coming from someone they never expected. I don't want to give anything away its so hard not to just come out and say it. But, that would ruin it for you. So do your self a favor and read the trilogy Rose's Story and go from there you won't be disappointed. End it with the just released Seduced by Darkness The Seduced Saga #5 and you will be just like me happy and sad. Sad that its the last book. Happy that its the last book. So conflicted. All the characters pretty much remain from the first book to the last book. A few are added some leave but all are explained. Happy reading

Fantastic reading
I wanted to wait until I read all books in this great paranormal series, but I couldn't wait to write this review. Thank you for helping me escaping into this interesting paranormal world full of adventure and enlightenment. I enjoyed it very much. I already have the next book in line of this series and I can't wait for the next/New, maybe different adventures. Even if the characters change. I'm sure I'll be giving the next book of this series, great ratings too! Please continue to write more of the same taking the reader into these great adventures!

Execellent read
Alex lux has outdone her self again with this 4 book in the seduced saga after reading book 3 i could see where they could end it there but there were questions questions that needed answering plus the cliffhanger at the end of the last chapter but nods this book has answered some of those questions leaving others in there wake namely what are the paranormals are they what will eventually become known as zeniths in fhe court of nightfall series time and while the question may have been answered indirectly in this book it still leaves me curious but yes loved the story the plot characters loved seeing olf faced from both earlier seduced novels and the forbidden novels verry well done as always alex lux keep up the amazing work :)

I received a free copy of the book from the author for my honest opinion.
Rose and Derek are back and just as in love with each other as they have ever been if not more. Their love for one another has grown so much that they can’t stand to be apart. If they could they would be together all the time. But of course that is not possible with the new school that they are running with the help of some of my favorite characters from the Forbidden Trilogy, Drake and Sam. Rose, Derek, Drake and Sam are all teaching kids that have paranormal powers. They are teaching them how to control them and how to use them.
This new school of theirs is a lot different than the one that Sam lived and grew up in. All of the kids at this school are all there because they want to be. They are not against their will like Sam and her friends Lucy and Luke. The new school would not be possible without the help of Father Patrick the priest who owns the propriety the school is on. Drake and Sam have a beautiful little girl Ana whom they both love very much.
Everybody is so happy with their lives and the school until they find out that someone is killing kids with special powers. They all work so hard in trying to find out who is killing the kids with paranormal powers. They find evidence that shows that it is a wolf that is attacking the kids and killing them or that is what it looks like but what they are seeing may not be exactly what they think it is. But never fear the church is sending in help. They send a pope to help them investigate and find the killer.
I have read a lot of books written by this husband and wife duo and not a one of them has disappointed me. I have loved each and every one of them. I love all the characters in The Seduced Saga and The Forbidden Trilogy and was so thrilled to see Derek, Rose, Drake and Sam all together in Seduced by Lies. I was also glad that the twins Lucy and Luke make an appearance too.
If you love reading paranormal or about people with special powers then I know you will love The Seduced Saga and The Forbidden Trilogy as well. But I do recommend that you start with the first book in each series so that will you know what is going on and why they have all ended up where they are today and together. The authors do a fantastic job of explaining who the characters are and giving you their background stories from the other books at the beginning. You will get know and understand Derek and Rose better if you read Seduced by Innocence book #1, Seduced by Pain book #2 and Seduced by Power book #3 before reading Seduced by Lies book #4. The same goes for Sam and Drake if you read their stories in Forbidden Mind book #1, Forbidden Fire book #2 and Forbidden Life book #3.

A lovely climax to the Seduced saga, Seduced By Darkness delves into the heart of the matter surrounding Rose's own powers. She's become something she doesn't recognize, always shifting into a myriad of forms. Though she has friends who are trying to help her overcome her uncertainties, she also has to deal with outside threats that seek to tear apart her world.
I like the fact that this story is tied to both the Forbidden series and the Court of Nightfall. It's like where one series stops, it continues in the next. The possibilities of numerous stories because of this are endless, which, I think, is what the duo behind the Karpov Kinrade writing team are trying to achieve.
What's next for these wonderful characters, I wonder? Will they finally be able to find peace is such a chaotic world, I wonder? Definitely looking forward to what's to come. Kudos on these diverse and intriguing series!

Seduced by Darkness was a fabulous read and an excellent end to one series while skillfully introducing another. I fully enjoyed this book and the entire series. The final book ansswered so many questions and neatly wrapped everything up in a way that made sence.
Seduced by Darkness picks up immediately where Seduced by Lies left off complete with nonstop action. The amount of suspense can be maddening, but in the end, Seduced by Darkness wraps up both the Seduced and Forbidden series' perfectly before introducing Court of Nightfall, which is another excellent series in the works. You are drawn back into the world of Rose and Derek, Sam and Drake, and the children and adults we've all come to love at Elysium as they discover their fates once and for all.
If you haven't picked up any of the Seduced novels yet, I highly recommend you pick up Seduced by Innocence or Seduced: Rose's Story(which contains the first three Seduced novels) and immerse yourself in the world of Rose and Derek, before reading Seduced by Darkness. If you want to start all the way back at the beggining, I recommend picking up Forbidden Mind or The Forbidden Trilogy(which contains all of the Forbidden books).

I had read the first 3 in this saga right when they were released but was waiting on the rest when I heard this was going to be released in serial novels because I didn't want to wait to find out what happened with the cliffhanger endings. This was just my personal preference. When I found out recently that they were going to be merged together as the final 2 books in the saga, I immediately bought this book and impatiently awaited the release of the last one. As soon I had the last one in hand, I voraciously devoured both of them! This book did not disappoint, and I just absolutely loved it like I loved the first 3 in the saga! I REALLY loved getting to hear more about my favorite "Forbidden Mind" characters again and see what they had been up to since their trilogy, and I also REALLY loved getting some background information on the Nephilim that are a huge part of the Nightfall series, of which I had read the first one, and am eagerly awaiting the release of the 2nd! I absolutely love how one of my favorite "authors" (a wife/husband couple) has made 3 different series that are enjoyable as stand alone but even more so when you read them all and can see all the connections! I am just a HUGE fan, and I recommend this saga as well as their other series to everyone!!!! *The Seduced Saga does contain some sex scenes where the Forbidden Trilogy and Nightfall series are family friendly!*

WOW!! What an epic finale to this amazing series that has left me breathless, broken my heart and crushed my soul, but also lifted my spirits, made me fall in love and left me giddy and excited.
The brilliance that is Karpov Kinrade is absolutely awe-inspiring. It seems that anything they touch becomes a masterpiece and I'm starting to wonder if the powers they write about are more fact than fiction. With spell-binding storytelling that captured me from the very first book and had me enthralled until the very end. I love how this duo has managed to intertwine their different series and sagas. First by bringing together their characters from The Forbidden Trilogy and The Seduced Saga, and finally introducing us to the world of The Twilight Court and the Nephilim we learn so much about in The Nightfall Chronicles.
I was so excited to jump back into the action and adventure with these much loved characters. They had been tested to the limits previously, and this book was sure to take them to their breaking point as they continued to battle an evil that threatened everything they lived for. Lies and deceit were the name of the game and I have to say I was completely taken off guard when the culprit was revealed. Looking back, there were so many hints left along the way, but I was so engrossed in the story that I never even realized until it was too late.
Epic. Spectacular. Enthralling. Magical. Wicked. Heartrending. A stellar read!!

Rose and Derek are back fighting for everything they believe . Drake and Sam get more of a say in this book but it ties into the Forbidden Trilogy nicely. They are all still working at Elysium to help all kinds of kids with para powers.
Rose and Derek still have personal problems between them but on top of all them, they also have to help solve who or what is killing people with para powers and why. Even though they have a full plate with all of this Rose is now having trouble dealing with her growing powers. Above all else though Rose and Derek still love each other.
Drake and Sam also have their own problems through it all because of going against the Queen of Nightfall. With this happening they must justify why they did what they did and also now must face the consequences. With these consequences they must also try to figure out Ana's growing powers and how to protect her from everything and everyone. Again above all is their love for each other and their family.
I have loved reading the Seduced Saga and am sad to see it end. However, I love that the author duo had continued many of the Characters into other series. I also recommend reading this saga in order to get the full understanding of the story and the characters. Plus reading will allow you to fall in love with most if not all of the characters.

I have loved reading the Seduced Saga and am sad to see it end. However, I love that the author duo had continued many of the Characters into other series. I also recommend reading this saga in order to get the full understanding of the story and the characters. Plus reading will allow you to fall in love with most if not all of the characters.

This is the fifth and final book in the "Seduced" series, I think this book is my favorite out of all five. There were more twist and turns and it was also more intense (in my opinion) than the other four. Seduced by Darkness picked up right where we left off in Seduced by Lies with Derek, Rose and Bishop Alaric fighting Ryder in the Trial of Strength. After Derek and Rose return to Elysium, they are both learning to cope with new abilities as well as hitting a small rough patch in their marriage as a result of the Trial of Strength. Drake and Sam, which are more prevalent in this book than the last, are also learning to deal with Drake's Nephilim transformation as well as Sam's new abilities that are created later in the book. While this book does end as a HEA, it's not without making some new friends, seeing old friends, and finding new enemies. My only complaint (though it's not much of a complaint) was that I didn't breeze through reading this in one night like I have with previous Karpov Kinrade books. That could be partially due to an extra busy week at home and work, but with as much as the book has going on in it, I'm glad for the slight change of pace to be able to read a few chapters and put it down.

This was a great sequel to Seduced by Lies-Elysium. Just like Elysium, Emzara also ends with a massive cliffhanger that just leaves you dying to know what happens next. I really liked the quick reflection on what happened in the previous book at the beginning. It was told in a way that didn't feel too repetitive. This installment seemed a little shorter, but that could very well just be me. I feel the need to state that length does not really affect my rating unless the book is far too short for the tale being told. That was not the case here.
I give Emzara four stars for a few grammatical errors. Overall, it was a good short read full of characters Karpov/Kinrade fans already loved from Seduced: Rose's Story and The Forbidden Trilogy. I really can't wait for the next book in the series.

With Roses mom defeated, Rose and Derek return to the school to help the paranormal and enjoying her new powers and their marriage a dark new force comes to the school. Someone is killing paranormal. Characters from previous series come in to Action if the love the forbidden trilogy you have come to love Sam and Drake.
Drake tries to figure out what has be unlocked inside him by Beleth. What was his? Is he a demon?
While searching for the killer the Vatican sends bishop Alaric and Ryder to help find the killer and they threaten to shut down the school.
But what happens when they think it's one of there own. Ryder attacks drake and goes for Anna? Will drake die from the Luycans attack. And what happens when Ryder Rose Derek and Bishop Alaric have a death match who will come out standing and is Ryder truly the one killing the paranormal?
book 4 has new twisted and turns making u want the next book and while Rose and Derek are married the struggles continue . as do Sam's and Drake ( The Fordidden Trilogy) now that he has become Nephllim like his father. I can't wait to read the next book. I love how they are starting to introduce there next series. They are amazing writers and look forward to everything they write.

Seduced by Lies picks up shortly after book 3 ends. While the story still focuses on Rose and Derek and the rest of the Seduced characters..it also returns in force, the characters from the Forbidden trilogy. Sam and Drake play important roles in this book.
I, personally, haven't gotten to read the Forbidden trilogy yet, and if the reader hasn't, while it tells you a lot about the series, it leaves a LOT of curiosity in its wake. While it's not necessary to read the Forbidden trilogy before this book (or even Seduced by Power since we first meet our Forbidden friends there) I honestly wish I'd been able to. There's no confusion if the reader hasn't read it, just open curiosity about the things Sam, Drake, and the Rent-A-Kids went through before the school was opened.
This book DOES end with one hell of a cliffhanger, so the reader will want to prepare for that.
I can't wait till I can start Seduced by Darkness, the 5th book in this series. I have to wonder.. with all the things that happen in this book... I wonder if the Nightfall series flows with this series like the Forbidden trilogy does?

What a Page Turner! I'm so glad I had nothing planned this weekend...y'know, except laundry and a bit of shopping. Decided on my 30-min walk this morning, that as per usual with this Seduced series, took 45 before my left leg gave out. Rose's mother is out of the picture (yes! couldn't stand that woman from first meeting lol), Blake is out of the picture (didn't like him, but sort of liked his possessor - at least we "understood" him), now we're on to other forces. Karpov Kinrade....what an imaginative team they make, and what a road they have us travel. My Gosh! The twists and turns that you least expect...or at least I didn't, and I used to be pretty good and guessing. Drake and Sam are wonderful additions to the first-person narrative, and the different paranormal activities are delightful. Rose's dreams keep you on your toes as to what might happen next. Derek is....someone I'd love to have found in real life...he's macho with a huge heart.
I admire KK for pulling in some Modern-Day conflicts into the storyline. Great Job!
Now. Let's hurry up with Seduced by Darkness. I have a feeling this last in the series will keep me glued to the pages as well. Can't wait! :)

This was such a perfect ending to an outstanding series! I read the whole series, start to finish, in nearly a week. I couldn't put it down! Addictive, right from page one.
I am happy to say that all my questions were answered, but I don't know if I'm ready for it to be over yet. There is still so much story that could be told, so maybe they'll write a spin off, and revisit these characters again one day? *hint hint*
The series started off as a forbidden love story, with minimal characters and a limited setting. The further into the series, the broader it has all become. I absolutely loved the new settings in this finale, but I regret they weren't introduced sooner. I would have loved to learn more about these secondary characters that we are given but a small glimpse at.
And like any addiction, I will only be satisfied when I have more...

Seduced by Darkness begins With a more detailed account of Rose's visit to the Druid that helped her figure out how to restore her arm. The reader finally sees how she was taught to fix the instances when she splices during a shift.
The final book in the Seduced Saga (as well as the Forbidden series, I assume), follows Drake and Sam a bit more than it does Rose and Derek. There's also appearances by everyone favorite Nephilim, Beleth; and few other guest appearances. This book has so many twists and turns the reader will not be able to put it down until the words "The End" show up. Each chapter is new experience, a new emotion, and new loop in the roller-coaster.
This was a terrific end to the Saga and I think any lover of urban fantasy (even if they aren't fond of sex scenes) will enjoy this series as much as I did.
I must say that I'm sorry to see this series come to an end. I can only hope that future series by this amazing duo will touch me as much as these five books have.

And...my honest opinion? The ending rocked!!!! I was absolutely glued to the pages...as much as I could be to the Kindle! There were so many shockers that physically had me dropping my jaw and saying, or screaming, WHAT?! If you have read "The Forbidden trilogy" or "Nightfall" by this author, I highly recommend this saga as it ties in to both, but you can also read this one on its own and not feel confused at all. There ARE some sex scenes in this book unlike the other two, but "sex" is not the overwhelming focus of this saga so if you love fantasy, paranormal, etc. but are wary of a lot of sex scenes, I would recommend you give this saga a try because I think you will absolutely love it! There is just the perfect amount of "sex scenes" for a romantic aspect but not too much where you would feel like, "Omg, am I reading an erotica book or something?" LOL...Trust me here! This is an amazing saga full of magic, shapeshifters, witches, werewolves, angels, romance, mystery, etc.!

I just have to say...HOLY CLIFFHANGER, BATMAN! I knew it was coming, I was warned, and now I am dying to get the next book. Of course, Kimberly Kinrade doesn't disappoint in any book, but this was such a great first book to this sequel. All of the favorite characters are back including some new characters. Never have I been this anxious waiting for the next book in a series and that alone speaks volumes for me. (Get it, volumes? No? Okay.)
I rate Seduced by Lies 4 stars. I knew it was going to be short, but I really wish it was just a little longer. Other than that, it was perfect. The story of Drake as nephilim, the son of Beleth, is incredible. As he learns of his powers and trains with Beleth to use them, many changes are happening. The arrival of an unidentified beast will create chaos at Elysium as he terrorizes everyone with his unknown powers. Drake is forced to make a decision that will put his entire family at risk.
Rose and Derek are going through many changes with family, powers, and their own relationship. Their roles at Elysium are expanding and friendships are strengthening while at the same time, family obligations are changing. This is a terrific wrap up of the Seduced Saga that I would highly recommend.

Seduced by Darkness is the conclusion of the Seduced Saga. But it also showcases the strength and love of the group we've been introduced to.
Starting off fighting a beast and flowing into the fight against a different type of monster. We follow Derek, Rose, Sam, and Drake on a journey across the world to defeat the darkness against them.
"And all I could think of was Rose. She trusted him. He mentored her. And he was killing everyone we loved."
During all of this Rose is still trying to understand and control her powers. When by a twist she realizes the strength within herself.
"I'd never needed him. He'd needed me."
I loved every second of the journey Rose took me on from beginning to end. Rose coming into her own and creating her own happiness is a testament to the HEA we all seek.

This is a serial novel which means it is short and ends with a cliffhanger. Derek and Rose now live at the school for paranormals training kids with special powers. Sam and Drake also live there with baby Ana. This book combines both the Seduced trilogy and The Forbidden trilogy. It is a continuation of both couples' stories. I like these characters a lot. The writing is good. This is a fast paced story. Kids have been dying from strange animal attacks and Derek and Rose go off to investigate. There is a message in this story about tolerance and acceptance which I thought was interesting but not preachy. Even though I knew that the cliffhanger was coming it was still really frustrating that the story ends where it does. Arrrggghh. Must have next book!

I have loved the seduced series since the beginning. This series was one of the first I read by these amazing authors. I love Rose and derek. It is so nice to see them again. Then there is drake and sam. All four of them are dealing with so many issues. They have to figure out who is killing people with powers. They all have their own. Relationship problems plus personal issues.
I just loved once again being sacked back into this world. I picked up the book and just could not put it down.
I was so glad when I found out that this book was coming out. At the same time I am sad that I had to say goodbye.
If you are looking for a new author and love amazing writing, check out these awesome authors. Start with the seduced saga because it is seriously the best.

Fans of Court of Nightfall, or just fans of Karpov Kinrade in general will fall in love with their latest creation Seduced by Darkness. The ending of the seduced saga , this story will leave you felling bliss and empty at the same time. For you will be sad to see the story of Rose and Derek come to an end. With the Beast still out there somewhere hunting paranormals, it's up to Rose, Derek, and their very good friends Drake and Sam to hunt down and kill the beast once and for all. But as always complication arise for our four friends. Will Derek be able to help Rose with her shifting? Will Drake finally be able to accept who he truly is?
