Emma's life takes an unexpected turn when she meets Josh, a homeless man, seeking shelter from a blizzard on the steps of her apartment building. Unable to see him out in the cold, Emma offers him her couch for the night. But what starts as one night somehow stretches to two weeks. As Josh starts rebuilding his life, Emma realizes she not only cared for him, but had fallen completely in love with him.

But Josh doesn’t seem to be ready for anything more than friendship. When he suddenly leaves, Emma is left heartbroken. She was so sure she had found her perfect person, so what is she supposed to do now that he’s gone? Can their love find a way home?
