I picked up this book on vacation because it looked interesting, but I wasn't totally convinced it would be a good story. It looked cheesy, but it totally wasn't. The reason I liked this book so much was that it is so relatable. Lily is a lovable main character but still has flaws, and Blake is not the mysterious hot guy who seems to dominate every love story, but instead he's just a great guy. Throw in a cute baby and the story's great! I liked that each character had a very detailed personality and things that they liked, problems, fears, ambitions, etc. I could easily tell who was talking (it switches between Blake and Lily). The supporting characters also have defined personalities. It could have had a better plot as it was a little predictable, but there were plenty of twists and turns. It was a fun, light read and I'm glad I gave it a chance.
