Sweet, cute, sweet, exciting, and sweet.
A shy, beautiful fitness queen (Jane Fonda-ish) named Livi who has a pushy mother and the ex-husband from hell. She has a really strong body, and her loud, exuberant friend makes a bet that shy Livi can out-push-up the Navy SEAL Mitch Irish Donovan. The stakes? A kiss if he wins and a date if she wins. Guess what? It's a tie! Both are winners, I guess! ;)
I really liked this sweet couple. Mitch is so... determined and dedicated, whether it's to his job or to Livi. He is pretty adorable.
And Livi is so endearing. She has social anxiety which is really hard to deal with given the job she has. She is so cute and sincere and her ex-husband was SUCH an asshole. She really deserved a great guy like Mitch coming into her life.
Only read this if you have a high tolerance for cuteness and sweetness.

This novel is so sinfully hot that it sizzles at times. Yet at the same time, it’s also decadently sweet & emotional. I really appreciated the way that Weber developed the romance in tandem with the complex and intriguing lives of these main characters. Not only that, but the premise for this novel was definitely unique and kept my attention. Weber had me laughing out loud more than once. I loved the mix of fitness videos with the Navy SEALs. It was fantastic. Weber made the military an integral part of this novel, rather than simply mentioning it as a career choice for her hero.
I quite enjoyed the main characters in this novel. Weber develops the characters so that they are very similar yet at the same time polar opposites to one another. I thoroughly appreciated the way that these two grow as individuals throughout the novel. I also appreciated the fact that they were willing to look beyond themselves. The fact that they were both such fit, strong individuals made for a very compelling couple. Also, the fact that being a SEAL wasn’t simply what Mitch did for a living, but rather an integral part of who he was as an individual really brought a great many concepts home, humanizing him yet also setting him apart.
As usual, Weber has delivered a fast paced, steamy romance that kept my attention throughout. I thoroughly enjoyed it & would definitely recommend it to those looking for a steamy military based romance.

The Uniformly Hot SEALs series is THE BEST SERIES of contemporary romance ever in the world! I have marked two of them as my favorites, so that tells you how insanely great they are. This one sucked me in from the first chapter and did not quit. It was so hard to stop reading.
Mitch and Livi are perfection. It all starts with a bet, and snowballs from there. The attraction is obvious, and the kisses are spectacular. It's all innocent fun at first, but feelings are developing and people are considering them boyfriend and girlfriend. Is there something more to this hot love affair than either of them realize? Because it feels like it is, and deep down they're both wishing and hoping that it is, even though they're not sure if they're ready for it.
A SEAL's Secret is the perfect romance to pick up when you're looking for something super sexy. I loved Mitch and Livi together--they had moments together where there were disagreements, but they spent more time enjoying each other's company. It was a welcome change of pace. Both Mitch and Livi were well developed characters and easily likeable. Tawny Weber is absolutely the best and I'll never stop reading her books!

I loved this one Mitch (Irish) Donovan is one of the best SEALs there is that is what he has aimed for forever coming from a family of military men but when he meets Livi Kane he starts to learn things about himself now Livi has been through a lot and knows that she has a problem with shyness but she runs a very successful fitness company but when they meet at a Halloween party and there is a push up challenge the sparks fly between them. This is one hot passionate and very moving story as they open up to each other like neither have done before their journey to a HEA is very emotional and will have you tearing up and smiling woohoo don't miss this one I highly recommend it.

Tawny Weber knows how to write a hot steamy military romance. This story is no different. Mitch and Livi are similar and yet very different. A SEAL's Secret is her 6th book in the Uniformly Hot series, and if you love military romance, you'll want to read all of them.
Both are physically fit, more so than any mere mortal can expect to be. Both are at the top of their game, Mitch with his military career and Livi in her fitness career.
Mitch is an absolutely fabulous hero. He's a tough guy but deep down he's a softie. Livi is a little bit frustrating but a very likable heroine. She seems to be steamrollered by all the people who take charge of her career, from her ex-husband to her mother. Oh god, I hated her mom until the end. Livi who is so gorgeous she can make a twinkie costume sexy, has some shyness issues. (Don't we all wish that were our only issue?)
Their relationship starts with a bet at her aunt's bar, where she and her friend Tessa crash a SEAL party. For the most part it seems like their relationship, though hot and spicy is going to be without conflict, until Livi's mom gets some ideas about a new direction for her daughter's career. Those ideas involve the SEALs and Mitch gets involved, though he's not happy about it.
I was glad, Mitch turned out more like his father than his grandfather. I like guys that end up being family men.
Once again, Tawny Weber doesn't disappoint.

Lt. Commander Mitch "Irish" Donovan falls hard for a gorgeous Babe wearing a Twinkie costume at Halloween. That should not make is next assignment hard, until he is asked to babysit her, the Queen of Fitness. Olivia Kane is shy and working hard to get out of debt by making fitness videos. Her manager Mother thinks that making a video based on The SEALS training methods will be a great feat even though her Mother doesn't like military men and especially a SEAL! The attraction between Mitch and Livi can't be denied and is HOT! Ms. Weber has written another hit! Love reading about SEAL's and the women who tame them. Definitely 5 stars!

Oh my goodness! Words fail me! And I thought Tawny Weber couldn't do any better than her recent books! Super sexy, filled with emotion, love, doubt; Tawny Weber as you've never read her before! Her sexiest book, her most complex characters ever; a book unlike anything she has ever written. Intelligent, touching, tough, soft as silk; if you've never read anything Tawny Weber has ever written, start here. It blew me away: stupendous, astonishing. Ms. Weber goes beyond anything I ever imagined she could do: genius!

When I mean I couldn't put it down I literally mean I couldn't. I read it in one morning. This book had me right at the Halloween party. Definitely a favorite of Tawny's. I really loved the characters. Olivia was so relatable because I have confidence and shyness issues so know how she felt. Oh my is Mitch dreamy, great hero material. I loved the message in the book to stand up for yourself and do what makes you happy definitely great advice. The epilogue was just the right touch to end this book on.

Received an ARC for review
I like Ms. Weber's SEAL series. There sure are some hot, sexy SEALs running around. This one was no different. I enjoyed Mitch and Livi and their relationship with no insta-love. The only thing that bugged me was all the exercise/fitness talk. Those are dirty words in my house. Now what is really going on with their BFFs, Gabriel/Romeo and Tessa.

Holy Hotness!! That's what this one is filled with. One super sexy hot SEAL, Mitch "Irish" Donovan, and the Queen of Fitness, Olivia Kane, are one fabulous couple but when Mitch is asked to teach Olivia all the tricks of the SEALS training regiment problems occur. You definitely want to grab this one and give it a read. I highly recommend it!

Tawny Weber’s SEALs are in a class all their own. Driven, determined and drop dead sexy, every time I pick up one of her books, I know it’s going to be fun.
Mitch and Livi seemed like such an odd pairing to me at first. Sure, their occupations complement each other since she’s a fitness instructor but it was their personalities that seemed like an odd choice. Mitch is obviously more of a go getter, confident bordering on arrogant (Don’t you just love those guys? Makes it a lot more interesting when they get knocked off their high horse), structure and order are part of his daily diet. Meanwhile Livi is a modern day wallflower, she plays the role of confident, sexy fitness queen in order to put food on her table but really she’d rather go unnoticed most of the time.
I thought Mitch would steamroller over Livi to be honest but she quickly found her footing where he was concerned. She called a spade a spade and in Mitch’s case, she called a jerk, a jerk. Livi’s one of those characters that fools a reader into thinking she’s nothing more than eye candy for the hero but then comes out swinging like a fighter. Her occupation was different than what I had expected but it was the way she handled it and the way she became a totally different person when she was working that had me loving her.
Of course, I can’t talk about A SEAL’s Secret without mentioning the steamy scenes between Mitch and Livi. As shy as Livi was in the beginning of the book, she knew how to take the bull by the horns, so to speak. A female character who can be both shy and bold at different moments can provide some interesting moments as well as keep from becoming dull. As a character, I’d say she grew up more towards the end. Not that she was immature but rather a bit inexperienced and naïve in a way. She did make my day at the very beginning of the book, at a Halloween party though. Her costume was so not what I would have expected of a woman who looked like Livi. I was giggling so much I woke up my dog.
My only complaint about A SEAL’s Secret is the way Mitch and Livi’s relationship was mended. I don’t particularly care for that theme in romance because as a reader, I feel like that takes away from the genuine feelings that two characters have for each other and that it may be the only reason that they’re together at the end. Other than that though, I really liked this book.
Final Verdict: Please ma'am, may I have some more?

After meeting Livi at a Halloween party, where she was dressed as a twinkee, for pete's sake, Mitch is smitten. He is also extremely aware of how improper a relationship with her would be. Nice premise but so far this is my least favorite book in this series. Too much something. Honestly, had I met Mitch in a bar I would have fallen for him too but a continued relationship? Nope, this man is a snob and so is his entire family. And I don't find snobs attractive. Pompous and pious.. uck..
And Livi? Well she skates awfully close to doormat material. It wasn't that these two characters were horrid. It's just that the concept of them getting together is questionable. Of course Ms. Weber does redeem the story and the characters do evolve.. but it's too little too late.
With all that said and done, this is a fun story.. Ms. Weber manages to make it engaging in-spite of clunky characters and unlikable characters. Funny how that works.
I don't quite recommend this book as a stand alone, even though it reads as one. I do recommend it if you have read the series and enjoy Ms. Weber's work.

Nothing more tantalizing than a man in a Seal uniform. It is even better when they are the definite alpha male variety and think that the end all is in the career and women can be a dime a dozen. Out to have some fun force able so Livi goes to a Halloween party at her aunt's place where there are sure to be some men in uniform so hot that the torture of the party could be well worth it. Thanks to a contest that ends in a tie Mitch and her both come out the winners. Funny thing is they will be winning more than they bartered for. This author takes you on their humorous, steamy relationship that they think is only for awhile so tell all not required. Funny thing about secrets especially when it comes to those close to you they usually have a way of coming to light. Each with their careers coming and going that will put another spin in their relationship. This author knows how to keep you immersed in these Seal's lives enjoying every step of the way when that special woman comes along to show them the light. She also knows how to crank up the steam that if needed vegetables could be cooked while reading. I found Livi to be alittle different than most of her ladies she writes about that you come away really liking her especially how she is more than she seems especially when you get to know her. Not only does she go fighting for what she wants she comes out more than a winner. Mitch is the kind of guy who is not afraid to admit he is wrong once he does realize it which is a rare quality by far. I have to admit, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. There isn’t a thing I hated about it. And that’s saying something, because I always end up not liking something in a book.
Olivia, or Livi, is a fitness trainer. She has her own business, that she had to rebuild after her ex husband screwed her over. She has her shit together, almost. All she needs now is a nice, hot man in her bed for a night or two. She isn’t asking for much or looking for to much. A sexy Seal will do just fine. But she gets more for what she asks for when she meets Mitch. Or Super Hottie.
Mitch is a Seal through and through. He has no time in his life for a relationship. All he can think about is advancing his career and to move up in ranks. He has trained for years to get to where he is at, and a relationship is a distraction and one he can’t afford. But then he meets Livi and all bets are off. Their one night turns into a few more and before we know it they are both thinking of life outside of their careers.
Livi is a strong character role., even if she lets her mom run over her with the business. She is shy, something she is working on, but that’s only one side of her. Tessa, Livi’s bestfriend, is by far my favorite character in this book, even if we only see her a few times she is AMAZING! So sure of herself and has no problem going after what she wants.
Now Mitch toward the end grated on my nerves. He let others influence his decisions and thoughts and almost lost Livi due to it. Of course with any great book there is a twist at the end. And one I sure as hell didn’t see coming. (Won’t spoil it for you here!)

Fitness guru Olivia Kane has had to overcome many challenges, but none is more intense than her immediate attraction to Navy SEAL Mitch Donovan. On the fast track for special ops, Mitch isn't interested in any long term relationships, but one look at Livi and he's hooked. Will Livi and Mitch be able to change the life-long expectations to have a long-lasting love?
While there is no real connection between the title of this book and the plot (neither Mitch nor Livi has any secrets), the characters are engaging and their romance is satisfying.
Livi and Mitch are both very appealing, and they have fantastic chemistry. Shy and introverted, Livi has worked hard to conquer her fears and is attracted to Mitch's sexy confidence. He is a typical alpha forced to realize that Livi is everything he never knew he always wanted.
There is thankfully very little drama and angst in the storyline; although the minor conflict established at the end feels somewhat contrived and is quickly resolved. It is disappointing that after the build-up concerning Mitch's family, there is no on-page meeting between Livi and his mother.
Looking forward to the next book focusing on Livi's best friend, Tessa, and Mitch's sidekick, Gabriel as love/hate relationships are my favorite.

She is dressed as a twinkie and he is dressed as superman. Livi is very shy, and she and her friend, Tessa, have gone to her aunt's bar so that she can pick up a SEAL. When they meet, sparks fly, and they end up in a contest against each other doing pushups, to see who is the better man or woman. It ends up in a tie, and as per a bet between Tessa and Mitch's friend, Gabriel (code name Romeo), Livi owes Mitch a kiss, and he owes her a date.

Awesome, Loved It!
This was an awesome book. This is the sixth book in the Uniformly Hot Seals Series by Tawny Weber. This book can be read as a standalone, but once you read one you will want to read every book in the series. Mitch is a sexy Navy Seal that always plays to win, he never comes in second. Livi is known as The Body Babe, she knows she has a great body, but has no self confidence. Her friend and aunt talk her into crashing a party with Navy Seals, and was instantly attracted to Mitch when she first lays eyes on him. Her friend makes a bet with Mitch’s friend that Livi can beat Mitch in a push up contest. They problem is both Mitch and Livi like to win. This book has romance, humor, and sexy Navy Seals; it kept me reading all night long. I can’t wait until the next book comes out. I highly recommend this book as well as this author’s other books.

Navy Seal Mitch Donovan is very serious about his job and is one of the best in the business. Livi is also very serious about her job and is one of the top in her game. The two meet at a Halloween bar party, and sparks fly immediately, especially when the two are challenged to a physical fitness contest. Livi is known as "The Body Babe" and is a fitness instructor but Mitch thinks he has the challenge in the bag. After all, he is a Navy Seal. When she is able to hold her own in the contest, she has his full attention. But between his career and training and her career and travel, will their relationship stand a chance?
Tawny Weber is incredibly adept at writing military romance. A Seal's Secret is the 6th book in her Uniformly Hot series and each one is just fantastic. I love how strong Livi is, both physically and emotionally. I love how series Mitch is about his career, but he is coming to realize there are more important things than climbing in rank. This book is a fun, lite, hot read - perfect to keep you warm on a cold winter day.

Awesome and wonderful book. This is the sixth book in the series but you do not have to have read the previous stories in order to enjoy this one. Mitch has met his match in Livi(Olivia) who is a fitness instructor with her mother as her manager who pushes her to go go go and not even a SEAL is good enough for her. Mitch, who comes from a wealthy family, is told that Livi is not good enough for him. Luckily the two ignore their family members and decide they go forward with a relationship. This is probably one of my favorites of all the books I have read from her. Their relationship starts out slowly and then gets hot plus the humor is there in the story right from the beginning. Great read.

Mitch is so confident about everything in his life. His mom has been trying to marry him off for several years but he is essentially married to the Navy. Until he met Livi. Livi is an exercise guru and knocks his socks off when they meet. She is very good at what she does, but she is so shy and holds herself back. Mitch's mother and grandfather are very controlling and expect him to follow a certain path. Until now, he has gone along that path without a problem. Livi's mother puts her in uncomfortable situations and tells her it is for her own good. Will she be able to stand up for herself and let Mitch know how she feels? Will he be able to let Livi into his life permanently?

My favorite SEAL book yet. Then I think that after everyone, fall for every SEAL and root for every relationship. A SEALs Secret has shy Body Beautiful work out guru, Livi, tempting and falling for SEAL body perfect Mitch. Neither really plan for a future, both involved in their own careers, but the attraction and relationship builds.
Both have career commitments and future plans. Neither plan includes a relationship. Come along for the sail into their lives, family, friends and secrets that do not bode well for a future together. See how the impossible changes things. Watch them grow and come to love them both. I did.

Tawny Weber is a favorite author of mine. Received this book for an honest review. I own many her books. Her books can be hot and steamy reads. This book was indeed hot, but it was so much more than that. Each of the characters had their own insecurities and personal issues that had to be faced. What was so interesting to me was that the image each presented was a strong confident individual. Yet there was still pain and uncertainty hidden beneath all the bravado. Loved the story.

Okay, so if Livi doesn't want Mitch, I will surely take him! Hot, sexy, hot Navy Seal man... uhm... I think YES!!! This book will have you fanning yourself! A damn good HOT read!!..lol. But of course you have to try and get past the cover of Mitch.. that seemed to be the hardest part. Once past it, you then find yourself enjoying another amazing read from Tawny Weber!

A Seal's Secret by Tawny Weber. Uniformly Hot. This is the story of Mtich and Livi. They meet at a party when they compete in a push up challenge against each other and then enjoy paying off the bets. I thought they had a wonderful connection and I enjoyed this book. Steamy, sexy and sweet. I am so looking forward to Romeo's story too. Tawny Weber is a wonderful author and I highly recommend this fantastic book.
