When Jen and Carl put their relationship to rest after Christmas, Jen’s biggest problem is going back to London ten days earlier than planned – and her ever-present attraction to Samuel ‘Bing’ Edwards.
Bing has no idea why Jen left Devon so fast. All he knows is that he wants her as much as he did the first day he laid eyes on her – so spending time with her while Lexy is still in Devon isn’t exactly a hardship for him. Feelings that have been a long time building between the two explode, and they both find themselves sucked into an easy yet passionate relationship, with Bing determined to prove to Jen that she’s it for him. That she is The One.
But in a city like London, the odds are stacked against them, and there’s always that one person ready to stir things up… And Jen doesn’t know how much of that she can take – even for the guy she loves more deeply than she ever imagined, and eventually she breaks.
Bing isn’t down with that. He wants Jen, and he wants her by his side for good.

Jennifer Mason must learn that Samuel Edwards doesn’t do giving up. Especially not when his forever girl is involved.

I liked this much more than the first book, perhaps because both characters were the "outcasts"...the bad boy and sassy gal. Their constant bickering and banter was bound to lead to an explosion of heat! Bing and Jen were hot and sassy...even the "romantic" moments has some edge instead of being mush!

“I promised you forever. When I promised you forever, I promised to love you forever too.”

Being in a long distance relationship is harder than it seems, especially when your boyfriend won’t leave the countryside to visit you in the big city. It took sixteen months for Jen and Carl’s relationship to fizzle out and break up.

Returning back to London ten days earlier than planned, her biggest problem is now her best friends brother – Samuel ‘Bing’ Edwards. Why is it a problem? Because she has been attracted to him for a long time and now she’s single, it’s going to be harder to try and stay away.

Bing doesn’t know why Jen is leaving Devon earlier than expected, but what he does know is that is desperately wants her as his. He’s waited his whole live to have her and over the past two years, since his dad’s 50th birthday and he’s waited patiently for his chance to have her. When he finds out shes single, this is his chance to prove to her he’s not a playboy anymore, he’s changed for the better and he wants her.

Their attraction to each other has been overgrowing for months, and although they throw witty and sarcastic comments to one another, they slip into an easy, yet passionate relationship with Bing determined to show Jen that shes The One for him. End game but how hard will it be to persuade her he’s changed?

Then comes along someone who is always there, stirring the pot and trying to get Bing back. It’s tearing Jen up and she doesn’t know how much she can take – even if she is hopelessly in love with Bing. It comes to a point where she can’t take it but Bing doesn’t give up that easily. He wants Jen forever and he is going to show her just how much she means to him.

What Jennifer finds out is that Samuel doesn’t give up. Especially when she is involved.

Emma Hart never fails to deliver. I have become obsessed with her books and with her along the way too. I can’t praise her enough. I don’t know how many times I can tell her I love her and her books without sounding completely stalkerish… but I DO! Never Forget was the first book I had read by Emma and since then I have been hooked by her books and her writing style. The way she can have me hypnotized by the plot, the characters, falling in love with them, wanting to smack them, laughing, crying, cringing (In a good way), oh holy, I am like a fangirl with this author and I know she totally knows it too. I even squealed when I was mentioned in the acknowledgements. THAT mention gave me a totally massive grin on my face. So thank you my love!

Always Remember takes place a year and a half after Holding On. We last see Bing and Jen in a compromising position. Did they or didn’t they kiss? Well you find out in this book. And no, I’m not going to spoil it and say, you’ll have to read and find out yourself.

Bing drives down to Devon to pick up Jen due Lexy request. Bing doesn’t know about the break up and Jen isn’t in the mood for spill the beans. She just doesn’t want to be in a car with Bing for 6 hours. She is sexually attracted to him and being so close will be torture, so in true Bing and Jen style, they spit witty comments back and forth to one another until the snow gets too bad to drive and they have to stop for the night. That isn’t good news for Jen because it means spending the night next to Bing as they have to share a bed. No, it’s not good at all as she wants to jump his bones.

During the days before Lexy and Alec arrive home, Jen needs Bing to take her food shopping and he happily obliges. They have a snowball fight and that is where everything changes for them both.

Over the course of the book you watch Jen and Bing grow and find love together, despite the obstacles that are put in their way in the form of a jealous ex. At one point it all becomes too much for Jen to handle. Too much to continually fight against Heidi, even though Bing has no intentions of ever going back to Heidi. His love is too strong for Jen, but when it becomes too much, Bing has to fight to keep Jen his. There is no way in hell he is letting her go. He’s waited years for her to be his and now he’s got her, well she is not leaving him. Not ever.

And Sam knows the perfect way to prove to her that she is the end game.

Can Jen be real? I want her as a friend so badly. She is still sarcastic and witty and hilarious with the things she comes out with not just aimed at Bing, but towards Lexy and Alec too. I will never stop laughing at her comments. They are too comical! But you can always see shes scared to be with Bing. Scared she will be another notch on his bedpost and she doesn’t know if she can trust him. He needs to prove that she can. You can obviously see why though, from Never Forget and a bit of Holding On, but you see her grow and blossom and alright she has insecurities about being with Bing, once they get past that, her journey is one that you’re proud of. She still has a smart and dirty mouth on her but you still her fall in love, find her ‘bada bing’ and that is what I loved reading about. She may have lost her way for a while but her determination and protectiveness/possessiveness comes out in full force. I freaking love Jen and she and Bing are definitely made for one another. They are both potty mouths but together, they calm each other down and you see the love pouring for one another throughout the book. (They still bicker though, but that just makes them, them.)

Now Bing/Sam. Oh Bingaling! Can he be my boyfriend? I won’t tell the other 5000 boyfriends I have haha. Ohh he made me fall in love with him. He is definitely not the playboy he was 2 years ago. He’s changed over the years, not wanting to whore around and wanting to prove to the one girl he’s always wanted that he’s different, that he can and will be a great boyfriend, if only she will let him. He continually proves to Jen that he’s a changed man, that she is his one. The one what he has always had a crush on, the one he wants forever. He will fight for her and prove just how much she means to him regardless of the bitch wanting them to split them up. No, no one will ever come between them. Ever. And he even demands everyone to stop calling him ‘Bing’, his name is SAM. This just proves how much hes changed during the past 2 years.

“My name isn’t Bing. It’s Sam…I stopped being Bing the second i met you. A real man gives up one night stands for the one girl he cant live without, and you’re that girl, babe. I gave it all up to give you forever.”

You see his romantic side come out and to be fair to him, although he doesn’t really know what he’s doing, by Jesus, the lines he comes out with are completely swoon-worthy (Even if sometimes they are followed by smutty comments – just the way we love him.) The way he treats Jen, and just the way he needs and wants her, oh God, I was falling in love. I keep saying it, but they really are each others ‘bada bings’. They both change for the better, make one another calmer but freaking smoking in and out of the bedroom.

Bing/Sam is still like Jen. Witty, sarcastic and smutty and of course, you all know how amazing their banter is together and when they are not together too. You will be laughing, swooning and blushing at the comments he comes out with. If I was Lexy I would be smacking his arm at the things he was saying in front of her. But it’s in all good humour though and that is what makes Jen and Sam, Jen and Sam.

Bing/Sam was with Heidi for 6 months. But to be fair to him he only went back because the sex was good. It wasn’t because of the bleach blonde bimbo. She was a bitch. She was just on a long list of girls on his bedpost. But now she is back and wanting Bing back. She wants him for one more night and Bing doesn’t want to touch her again – not even with a barge pole. He only wants one blonde and that is Jen but Heidi is making is hard on Bing and Jen and is like a boomerang and keeps coming back, no matter how many times they tell her to F**k off. She continually messes with them one too many times and that is when Bing has to fight to save his relationship. I loved that Jen put her in her rightful place towards the end, when everything worked out for her and Bing. Heidi definitely deserved a bitch slap (Not that it happened). I would be punching her face for being so pathetic enough to want Bing back after he makes it clear he doesn’t want her and for being petty and doing anything she could do to break them up. Oh gurl, you be gettin’ bitch slapped right now!

The alternative POV’s are something I absolutely love reading in books. Each character had their own personality and you could easily distinguish them, which I am so happy about as sometimes male and female POV’s in books can be a bit funky, but Emma knows how to write both male and female POVS and pure brilliance. I loved knowing Sam’s feelings and emotions for Jen and vice versa for Jen. You really get to see inside their heads and know just how much they have liked and now love each other.

Alec and Lexy as much as me? Well YAY because my fav couple is still the couple I fell in love with. They are perfect and still hopelessly in love with one another. They are a big help with Bing and Jen throughout all the drama in the book and you can really tell that they are protective with one another and the people they love. They are still the cutest couple EVER and I loved how they ended up in the epilogue. They truly got their happily ever after.

Oh god, I am not going to tell you what my favourite scene is because it is one massive SPOILER and I am in no way going to give away what happens. Let’s just say I was giddy and I cried and I cried laughed and although I loved the whole book, this is a pivotal point in their relationship and by god I freaking loved the outcome of it. They both go on a journey and for it to end that way, it was the best thing since sliced bread.

The sex scenes are pretty hot if I say so myself. There are a couple of scenes that will get you hot under the collar…they certainly did with me! Jen and Sam’s sexual chemistry is booming; its like a magnet between the two of them. You could see it slightly in Never Forget and certainly in Holding On but it only intensifies in Always Remember. When you read them, you will act like Jen, all breathy with Bing is speaking close to her. *Shiver* I sure as hell was biting my lip and there was one really intense sex scene which I was like just…holy shit yes.

It was the perfect book to finish off the Memories series. The epilogue will have you grinning at how far both couples have gone and how they are still the same people even after growing up. They still have their own personalities that distinguish they all but they still have the same over-powering love for one another, sibling love, best friend love and of course pure love for their significant other. It truly is a perfect send off knowing just how happy both couple are and knowing that they really are each others ‘bada bing.’

For those of you who have yet to discover the wonders of Emma Hart and her Memories series, then check out my review of Never Forget and Holding On. You won’t regret buying these books because you will be given romance, laughter, tears, sexy times and a whole lot of love in these British novels!

Have you ever had that feeling where you can’t help but love and loathe a person at the same time? How no matter how much a person annoys you and drives you mad, all you can think about is them? How said annoying person, manages to get so deep under your skin that you can’t get them out? Well if you said yes to the above and you have experienced this, then you’ll understand how Jennifer Mason feels about Samuel ‘Bing’ Edwards.

Sam Edwards, is just that, he’s the infuriating person that drives Jen mad. From his smart ass remarks, boyish charm, playboy ways and devastatingly handsome good looks, Sam drives Jen to the utter brink of insanity. How is it that a perfectly sane person can end up wanting someone who drives them absolutely crazy? Wouldn’t that make be crazy in itself? I mean, Bing is the man whore of the town, like the town bicycle, everyone’s had a ride, actually not really… Bing is pretty selective in who he had indiscretions with, but still the point was he had more notches in his bed post, than the length of the bed post itself. How could anyone want a guy who has never settled down and was happy in their playboy ways?

Jen Mason was always his little sister Lexy’s annoying best friend. He always loved to tease Jen and she always gave it back, they’ve always had a bit of a like/hate relationship – I say like because the word love isn’t quite right in describing them. Sam was arrogant and cocky, I mean he had a right to be right? He was that damn hot! But after seeing a glimpse of Jen after many years had passed, Sam just couldn’t get Jen out of his head. The trouble making blonde with the big blue eyes, grew up in more ways than one. She matured.. well actually she didn’t she just got feistier and sassier.

Their relationship is quite humorous though, it’s very playful and fun, take for instance this line here:

“Hey!” I get in next to her. “Piss off with the door slamming.”(Jen)

She gives me an evil look out the corner of her eye. “It’s the door or your face. Whichever one you’d prefer, Samuel. Personally, I’m down for whatever.”

I start the engine, smirking to myself. “I wanna say face because it’s a part of me, even if it isn’t the body part I’d rather you be slamming right now.” (Sam)

Or this line here:

“You’re not as bad as you were, I’ll give you that, but you’re still like a dog on heat sometimes.”

“You realise it’s the females that have heat, right?”

Her lips curve into a smile. “That’s the point I’m making, Samuel.”

Now now, a book wouldn’t be a book without a villain and I need to bring said villain up. Heidi is her name, she is downright nasty, with big fake boobs, barely there clothing and has an all-round air of skankiness about her. Said skank is the cause of drama in Jen and Bing’s relationship.. that little wh……ale.

Anyway, Heidi gets whats coming to her… a nasty STD. Jokes, I’m not that mean. But I am mean enough to shame her with this brilliant line from Jen:

“I was just bringing you a few things from our time-” (Heidi)

“Really? You have used condoms?” Jen puts a hand on her hip. “There’s a bin at the end of the drive. In fact, while you’re dropping them in there, just climb in yourself. That’s where trash belongs, after all.” (Jen)

Emma has written a wonderfully amusing book filled with hilarious, comedic narration. Jen is a firecracker, I’d call her the main person in the book because her character is just that, a genius. She’s all sass and she doesn’t hold back anything she is thinking. She is protective and is the biggest smart ass! Not to mention she has the nicest ass according to Bing She says some of the funniest lines in the book that literally makes you go, ‘who in the world says that sort of thing’. She is sort of a weird goofball who doesn’t care what anyone thinks and that’s what kind of makes her awesome.

I loved the relationships in this book! Lexy and Alec were so cute, that I felt compelled to read the first two books to get a better understanding of their relationship. The character relationships in ‘Always Remember’ are so genuine, it reminded me of some of my friendships, where you have the funny goofy friend who can make you laugh at anything (Jen), the friends that’s a bit of a princess but is still quite lovable (Lexy) and the pretty hot boys who gets the attention of every female within a 10 foot radius (Alec and the smoking hot Sam). They were just real relationships. Still Jen was my favourite, I couldn’t believe half the amount of things that came out of her mouth, from the ‘shit on a lollipop’ to ‘space cadet’ to ‘buffoon’ + many more! She has what Emma describes as Jen-Tude, and it’s hilarious! She kind of reminds me of me and half the things I say, not exactly the same but things so weird and unique to me that people kind of double take when I say them.

This book is a New Adult book, with plenty of sexual innuendos and steamy scenes, so I wouldn’t recommend it to those under 18. It’s written in a very light, comical, sarcastic way. There is so much witty banter throughout the novel that I enjoyed so much, and I guess that’s reason as to why I really loved Bing and Jen’s relationship. Let me just say that I really enjoyed the ending and Sam’s spiel about how they met and his memories of her over the years, god that was brilliant! Oh! and the story about the jewellery shop. Good writing there Hart! Good writing!

I would recommend this book to anyone who wants a light hearted, quick enjoyable read. It doesn’t delve into major emotional issues and it’s simple, easy and fun to read. It pretty much is a book about a normal relationship, demonstrating how love finds you in the most amusing ways, how sometimes if you’re lucky, love has been there all along, it’s been right under your nose. Although this book can be read as a stand alone [like I did], I would have preferred to read the other books before this one, it would just provide more clarity, character insight and history between each of the characters.

“Sometimes life is full of funny twists and turns that take you somewhere you never expected. This is just a twist. For both of us.”

When I read Never Forget and Holding On, I was really excited about Bing and Jen’s story because the chemistry between these two has been oozing since the first book in the series and it is ‘the-more-you-hate-the-more-you-love’ type.

This story by Emma Hart was lighter and a very fun and playful read. I loved Jen’s witty and kick-ass comments especially when it comes to Sam. Like this:

Jen: “It smells like you.”
Sam: “Like brilliance and blinding good looks?”
Jen: “No, like arrogance and an ego bigger than the United States of America.”

And this too:

Jen to Sam: “I wouldn’t kiss it if your ego was water and I was dying of thirst.”

I must have been like an idiot laughing my ass off while reading Jen and Sam’s conversations. It kept me up all night and I just couldn’t get enough of their exchange! Emma Hart is a genius especially when it comes to creating and executing Sam’s lines. It’s like she enrolled in a course for reading men’s minds and mastered the art of it! The thoughts coming from Sam’s head were so real and we have to give credit to the author for that. :)

Also, we can see another side of Jen in Always Remember. If you guys can remember, in Never Forget, she was just this carefree and easygoing type of girl but we will see a deeper side of Jen here as we witness her struggle against her attraction to Sam, the womanizer. There was a time when she thought:

“For the first time, I really, truly understand why it took Lexy so long to trust Alec. Faced with a playboy with a reputation bigger than his tools, you have to think. You can’t jump into everything head first. You have to dip a toe in, test the waters, and ease your body in gradually. Ease your heart in.”

And also, the ‘artistic’ side of Jen. We see her as this very strong and independent woman but when she talks about art and painting, she always gets lost in it, like she can live her whole life doing nothing.. and just painting.

“Painting is real. It’s where emotion lies, where crazy thoughts merge with the sane reality of life around us. It’s the only place I can truly be me.”

If we saw maturity in Jen, I was honestly surprised to see Sam also grow up in this story.

Jen: “Whatever, Sam. A leopard doesn’t change its spots.”
Sam: “No, but a bird can always renew its feathers.”

See. We knew Sam from Never Forget as Bing, the playboy, and I never thought that I’d see the day that he’ll become serious with a girl. Another thing that readers must look forward to in this novel is the dual POVs of Sam and Jen. I know that I have professed my love for dual POVs in my past reviews but I just have to say it again here because as what I’ve said earlier, Sam’s thoughts were very hauntingly realistic.

The one thing that I wished the author did was to have more flashbacks of Jen and Sam’s childhood and also, some snippets of memories where they thought of what ‘could have been’. Also, I wished that Hart included some more scenes in between the ending and the epilogue. Or another novella would be great too. :) It’s just that – I felt like I missed a part of their lives and of course, I have loved these characters ever since Never Forget so I absolutely want more, more and more!!

Not only did Jen mature in this novel, but she also became fiercer, feistier and spunkier! (Which I thought was not possible considering how witty she was in Never Forget!) When Heidi entered the picture, Jen proved to us that not only does she have a strong character, but she’ll also fight for anyone she loves. It’s like Heidi is the fuel to the fire that only made Jen shine brighter.

Emma Hart did an amazing job with the story of Sam, the playboy turned lover boy and Jen, the smartass who also had a soft side to her. And kudos to Hart’s good writing.

Always Remember is a novel you will surely not forget because it’s a lighthearted read that will make you laugh but at the same time, knock you off your feet. :)

AND! Folks, remember: “A little bit of Jen-tude is all you need sometimes.” *winks*

My favorite lines/quotes:
“I want to make you forget the rest of the world. I want to be your world, ‘cause I’ll be damned if you aren’t becoming mine.”

“Some things in life are priceless – and true friendship is one of them.”

“I promise you a forever of days you’ll never forget, and nights you’ll always remember.”

“That’s what love is. It’s fighting for each other no matter what’s thrown at you. It’s holding on tight to the thing that makes your heart race and your breath hitch. And love is the pain I see every time I look in your eyes – the pain that’s there because he isn’t.”

I really enjoyed the change in this second book. The author went a different way with the characters relationship which I think is a good choice as they are young and it made it more believable. Another feel good story that I would recommend to anyone. I also think they are great stories for teens.

WHOA, i believe i establish an author crush on author Emma Hart. Alec and Lexy story is AMAZ-BALLS. I also read the short 1.5 story in the series Holding On before i started Jen and Bing aka Sam's story.
For those you haven't read any books in the memories series, you can read Always Remember as a standalone but i recommend reading both prior books in the series first. They help you understand Jen and Bing with giving you the must needed continuation of Alec and Lexy. (links for both books are below)

As explained in the synopsis:

How long does it take for a long-distance relationship to break down? Sixteen months.
When he finds out she’s single, the only thing on his mind is finishing what they started at his dad’s fiftieth birthday party.

The story follows Lexy's best friend Jennifer Mason aka Jen journey out of her small town of Lilac Bay, Devon to the big city in London. A year into Uni, you see how Jen develops from a small town country girl to a city woman. This book shines light on Jen the artist, the bestfriend, the sister, the student and most importantly Jen the woman!
Jen's one liners are whitty and one of a kind..

"crap on a lollipop"

"the next few minutes drag more than a chain smoker"

But not just Jen grows in this book, so does Bing aka Sam. Known throughout the series as a one show man whore you watch Sam fall in love and come to terms with the reputation he's established that interferes with the feels you has now.

"those blue eyes that have me so entranced are a whirlpool of doubt, uncertainty and reserve. i can see it"

While you have the story of Jen and Sam develop you also have them both deal with the changes that come with age. Helping friends and family get thru loss their own different ways shapes them and their relationship with others.

"im not saying you cant feel, that you cant hurt, because you can. Of course you can..... you love your best friend too and while we can't understand that, we can still be here"

I love this book and whole series, its real and at times raw. I appreciate that Emma didn't ignore the loss that happened in book one. Not only did she touch on Lexy and Sams grandmother but the loss Alec constantly deals with of his father. As someone whose lost someone recently i know the constant reminders, thoughts and moments the surviving family deals with.

Emma writing style is so established and well rounded. Having one book that flows from two POV so well is a skill not many writers have. Seeing each event from Sam and Jens point of view was refreshing! The epilogue gives me such joy and brings the journeys of Alec, Levy, Jen and Sam together in an endearing way.

"as long as i have you love will always be enough for me"

From my blog.

**ARC provided by author for an honest review**

First of all, if you're here and you haven't read the first book, then I hope you're really, really ashamed of yourself. I hope you're already hiding under a rock if you haven't read anything from Emma Hart. Well, no worries, I've got you covered. Check out my review for Never Forget HERE (it's the first book in the Memories series).

Books by Emma Hart are slowly becoming kinda addictive. They are so damn sweet it could be disgusting, but Emma makes it work with her witty characters and clever dialogue. I've said it before, but I'll say it again: her books just make you laugh out loud and have you smiling in no time whatsoever.

You have no idea how I waited for this book because I LOVED Bing in the first book. Majorly loved. He's the most amazing big brother and well, just a glimpse of what was happening between Jen and him had me wanting so, so much more.

So, I started this book because it was the next one I needed to read to stay in some sort of schedule and even though I was laughing out loud, I soon lost interest. Therefore, I put it down and came back the next day. Once I continued reading, I was suddenly asking from myself what the hell had been my problem the day before, because I seriously finished it in one sitting and I LOVED IT!

Jen and Bing/Sam were amazingly cute together, but not once did they get boringly cute. I ADORE Sam. He's such a wonderful boyfriend and I wouldn't mind having him all for myself... Jen, however, actually managed to grate on my nerves a lot. The fact that she was ready to give up on their relationship despite how much she loved him because of his stupid ex... If that's the reason you're willing to give him up, then maybe you don't deserve him at all? But, hey!, she mans up and that's all that counts in the end...

Now, I have no idea what's happening to me. Like really? There used to be time when nothing, I repeat, NOTHING in a book could get me upset. No waterworks at all. Never ever. And I'm talking like not even when Dumbledore died... What's the most stupid is that I didn't really cry while Sam and Jen were apart (I think it's not really a spoiler because it's a romance novel and they always break up before they get their HEA - omg! how haven't I seen this before? Do you know what 'hea' means in Estonian? It means good. That's just downright brilliant! Sorry, that was your today's Estonian lesson...). Emm... Where were I? Anyway, I didn't cry while they were apart, BUT I did cry when they got their HEA. And I'm not talking about bit of misty eyes. Nope, I mean big fat tears. I just couldn't help myself. I thought that the worst (aka the best) was past when I finished the last chapter, but honestly, the epilogue made even more tears fall.

Should you read it? Sure thing. Plus, if you've already read the first book, reading the second should even be a question...

“Always Remember” was such a fun and yet real read for me.

The characters were recognizeable! I mean we all know or uhm have known a Sam ‘bing’ Edwards, the guy that basically have slept with everything that moves, and Jen the sass-mouthy, strong and badass girl, I’m sure everyone have at least one friend like her. I know while I was reading this book, I kept thinking of my friends.

That’s the beauty of this book, it’s that the setting is in uni so age wise, for me I could see all of the characters really relistic. Their attitudes, the language, it was like being surrounded by all my friends!

Then there were the chemistry between Sam and Jen.

“Believe me, Jen, I could satisfy every need you have and then some you didn’t even know about.”

the sexual tension between them could set fireworks!

“I honestly thought that if I didn’t get out of that bed, that room or that hotel this morning as soon as humanly possible I was gonna go bat shit crazy and jump on that annoyingly arrogant git.”

There were so many “LOL” moments in this book, there were so many times I was giggling like a school girl, the interactions between Sam and Jen were cute and downright sinful at the same time!

“Don’t make sex difficult like you do everything else, Bing.”

Then there was the personalities, Oh. My. God! Jen is that crazy, bad-mouth-swearing, sassy, epic friend we all have, that embrass you to death, but if you needed her would drop everything to help out the people she loves, and she would kick anyone’s ass to protect her family and friends. My favourite part, is the EPIC comments, like in the quote above, they are hilarious and awesome, I know I have written down that I can’t wait to use!

Sam and Jen are like made for each other, they are these crazy individuals, and they get even more crazy when they are together, but you know that they are perfect forr each and would only not be happy with anyone else.

“I won’t always be perfect, Jen, baby, but I’ll try to be the best I can. I want you, girl, just you. No-one else. Trust me. Once. That’s all I’m asking.”

Jesus, the sweet moments in this book, almost broke my heart a couple times, and then when Sam’s past comes back to haunt and taint the newfound relationship he has with Jen, [insert sob] it was too much crazy! I needed them to fight for each other.

Sam is the perfect guy for Jen, like Jen is the perfect girl for Sam, they ground each other, he is the darkness to her light, the one can’t exist without the other.

“I know right now I’m the luckiest asshole in London, because Jennifer Mason is mine”

this was such an angst written, heart throbbing, fun and sexy read, highly recommend! Thank you Emma for letting me read this early ARC copy, Sam just made my book-boyfriend list

I've got a love-hate relationship with this book.... I'm debating if I should give this a 3 or a 4 star... AHHHH Hate that feeling!
*Note: Received an ARC copy in exchange for honest review.

Boy & Girl:

*Sigh* If there are two things I love, it's romance and banter in a book. Emma Hart does this beautifully! This books takes us into the world of Bing, aka Sam, and Jen and they were hot together. From the first word that comes out of Jen's mouth, it's pure awesome banter. Bing isn't that bad at his comeback either. Sometimes, banter could get old when the same types of insults are thrown around. BUT not here. Right about 20% into the story, I truly saw and understood how and why Jen and Sam liked each other. With the tough exterior and soft interior, this story works for them. The almost ending before the epilogue is my FAVORITE part in this entire book. I loved every word that poured out of BING, er.. I mean Sam's mouth! I KNEW exactly why he loved her and I knew just how deep those feelings were.

Jen was awesome!

The plot:
Had a good premises. We see Alec and Lexy (loved this pair, even in this one) from Never Forget and Grams is constantly reminded throughout (memories/her well-thought our future plans for her grandkids) the story (WHICH i loved). The added conflict in Sam and Jen's relationship helped create the tension and conflict between the couple. The strong, witty Jen's weakness and vulnerability really was shown well, especially when she turns around and runs away. It was really believe that even for her, it was exhausting to having to fight for what was hers. AND Bing was a complete sweetheart, always trying to be patience and really wanting to make sure Jen never doubted his feelings for her. He worse his heart on his sleeve! Which was completely different from many other male protags. MY fav quote:
=====
"What if I can't take it, Bing? What if I can't deal with the girls that will throw themselves all over you?"
He runs his fingers through my hair, pushing it away from my face. My head tilts back slightly.
"Then maybe, baby..." He moves in close. "Maybe, you can come to me and I'll remind you exactly why they're nothing more than a shadow in the night and you're the light."
====
"I told you that if anyone doubts us, if you ever doubt us, to come to me."
"Yes."
"Then do it. Come to me, babe. Don't let her get under your skin. She's nothing to me. She never was anything. Not like you."
===

Overall: I liked the story. I think it deserves to be read. Sam and Jen's story must be read. I just had few things that I just couldn't feel like: I didn't feel the connection between Jen and Sam up until 20% into the book. I felt the ending could have been a little shorter after Sam and Jen got back together. Regardless, I think this book was fun and smexy all the way to the last page (Minus the Epilogue).

The Memories duology ends with this book, Always Remember. I liked the story a lot. This book focuses on Samuel “Bing” Edwards (older brother to Lexy, the protagonist of Never Forget) and Jennifer Mason. I didn't expect Sam to change his ways and become monogamous. Jen inspires him to become a different person. That’s what I liked most about this couple. The right girl can change even the most wayward guy. When I read the first book, I wasn't sure why they nicknamed Samuel's character after a search engine. I wrongly assumed everyone called him Bing because he could find anything! Ha ha.

The story of Samuel and Jennifer shows that true love can really change a man, even in very profound ways. Their relationship was very entertaining, as the two were constantly on each other's toes. They really were like dogs and cats at first. When you find out whether they end up together for real, you’ll exclaim “Finally!” I didn't blame Jen for having her reservations about Samuel, given his playboy ways. It seems it’s not easy to gain someone’s trust when your reputation isn’t stellar.

I would say that Samuel is the kind of guy I'd like to be, yet would not like to be. Why yes? Because he doesn't have commitment issues (not really). Samuel likes to have fun, he knows what he wants, and he knows how to charm women. Why not? Because of the not-so-good stigma that comes with his promiscuity (look how long it took him to convince Jen to date him, not that it wasn't worth it). He also seems like an Emmett Cullen kind of person— kind of a joker and the opposite of no-nonsense. I'm more like Jasper, though not so aloof or hardened.

Jen is a one-of-a-kind person. She has quite a smart mouth and a snarky side that she prefers to use on Bing. Whatever you throw at Jen, she can counter it and come out on top. However, Jen also has a soft side and uses art to let off steam. The reader gets to know Jen much better in this novel than in the prequel, Never Forget.

I recommend that you read Never Forget before starting this book. That way, you’ll be more familiar with Sam and Jen and know where they come from. Lexy and Alec are also in this book, so that’s a good thing. You’ll find yourself rooting for these characters. Emma Hart’s got an undeniable talent for creating characters that don’t fall flat. She’s a talented author who you should consider adding to your bookshelf (especially if you’re a woman).

My rating: ★★★★
4 stars - Definitely enjoyed it!

so i enjoyed this book pretty much as much as the other two. i like how we now get to see jen and sam's relationship go from omg i cannot stand you to omg i cannot live without you. both of them were in the first book in this series (never forget), but they are more-so supporting cast as lexy's player brother and feisty best friend. this story is told from their perspectives and takes place after never forget and holding on. jen and carl end things after trying to make a long distance relationship work for quite some time. unlike alec, who moved to be with lexy, carl didnt even want to come visit so they start to drift apart. anyhow, they decide to end things so jen comes back from break from college early.

it is obvious that jen and sam are attracted to each other and have been for quite some time, since they are always arguing and being obnoxious to each other in a playful flirting sexual tension kind of way. she doesnt tell him that she and carl broke up right away, but eventually he finds out and puts the moves on her. at first she thinks things will just be casual since she is probably rebounding after being together with carl for a long time, besides she knows sam is never with a girl for very long. but there is something about jen that makes sam want to change his ways and prove he wants to be with her. so just when jen starts to believe they can have a real relationship, one of sam's ex's tries to wreak havoc and sabotage their happiness. after a lot of conflict, jen finally does realize being with sam matters to her more than anything his ex can say or do, so they do finally manage to get past it and make things work. of course him proposing to her probably helped her realize just how serious he really was, but yah. it was a wise move on his part.

so things are reversed with lexy and alec playing the supporting roles in this book, but they are still actively part of the story. i liked how there was closure on what happens with jen & sam and lexy & alec so i doubt there will be any more books in this series. both couples end up staying together and have children by the end of the book. you see them shown as having their happily ever afters which is a nice ending. there was also a lot of silliness and sarcasm and it was a little more light-hearted than never forget, but it was still just as good and entertaining.

In this novel, it's the story of Jennifer and Bing (Samuel), it happens more than a year after Holding On, Jennifer just broke up with Carl, but they parted in a friendly way, seems like long distance relationship wasn't for them. On the other side we have Bing who tried to forget that he's attracted to her sister's best friend. Both will begins to get closer and their love-hate relationship will move to another level ...

This story was the CHERRY on top of the cake !!!! Mind blowing if this expression exist (which I'm pretty sure) ! Sam and Jen have the most amazing love(-hate) story ! On one side we have Jennifer and her blunt honesty and amazing expressions, this girl is crazy and you can't help but love her, and on the other side we have SEXY Samuel who knows he's (well) SEXY and he can't help but annoy Jen because he loves how she answer, but mostly because he loves her, because she's his bada bing person. From a playboy, he became slowly and more romantic (I think he can beat Alec for the Romance Crown, just saying ;-) )
The story was full of funny moments and sexual tension, full of love and romantic moments, a little bit of drama but not too much !

Jennifer is in universty to study art it's not easy all the time but she manages to be on the right track, but it's not the same with her love life, especially with Sam. We learn a lot more about her personality, she can be peaceful and calm especially when she paints. She's also possessive and knows how to show it! I love her temper and I smiled a lot when she talks with Sam !

Sam (who used to be known as Bing) is becoming more a decent guy, he stopped his one-night stand and begins to become more and more attracted to Jennifer and never forget to say something to get her attention, he's sexy and he knows it, and doesn't hesitate to use it to seduce Jen. He's getting more and more thougtful and does everything he can to prove that he has changed.

We get a little bit of Lexy and Alec and we can see how they still love each other and that they don't hesitate to give advice and support their friends and family.

This series is amazing and I'm so glad I got to discover this amazing author, Emma Hart, I love her writing style and wouldn't mind to read her others series ! This Memories Series was full of love, romance and fun, very fresh and definitely a summer read !!!

This book was pretty terrific. I loved Samuel and Jen's story. It was the perfect combination of love, lust, and friendship. I have to say after every book I read from Emma, I just fall more in love with the characters. The writing is so beautifully perfect. I also have to say I enjoyed the setting of the story. Being it was set in London definitely a place I would like to visit someday.

This is the third book in the memories series and, I would have to say my favorite. In the beginning of the book Jen and Carl have just broken up. They both couldn't handle the long distance thing. Samuel and Jen head back to London from Lilac Bay. Samuel has no idea that Jen and Carl are broken up. We see a lot of their hilarious banter. Both are very quick witted so it is quite entertaining, and paired with their amazing chemistry is just so great. So they end up spending more time together and it becomes almost impossible to keep their hands off each other. So when Samuel find out that indeed Jen is single he decides enough is enough. He is going to make Jen his. Well Samuel's reputation is a bit of a problem so Jen needs him to show her that he want her and just her. Samuel accepts that challenge and he is one never to back down from one.

I really enjoyed Samuel and Jen's story. I felt the chemistry and love between them. They were such a perfect match. They gave as good as they got. Let me say Samuel said the most beautiful things to her. It just made my heart melt. Also was nice to see a female that didn't put up with anything she didn't deserve. Jen was a great female character strong, smart, funny. Samuel perfectly matched her with his smart mouth and kindness. They had so many beautiful moments I just want to read it all over again. The story isn't just about them either Lexy and Alec are still going strong. You will love their moments as well.

I have to say this is one good book. I might just have to say one of my favorites of the year. It is just the book that will make your heart feel good. It did mine. I'll miss reading about these characters I truly fell in love with each and every one.

I was so excited for this book because I absolutely love every book that Emma puts out, and well Never Forget only gave us a brief glimpse of Jen and Bing and I knew I had to have more!

This book was definitely not as sad as Never Forget, but I was totally ok with that because Never Forget seriously broke me in two! Always Remember did have something that Never Forget didn’t have much of, and that was sarcasm and just plain old FUN! But I think the main reason for that is because Always Remember involves the two people who personify sarcasm and fun!

You cant help but love Jen for her smart mouth, she has the most hilarious lines and seriously by like the second chapter I was laughing out loud and I think my husband thought I had lost my mind.

Although this story wasn’t such a heartbreaker story, it actually seemed more real… Bing had a past that was haunting him, and Jen just wanted to do normal. It was really cute how much they obviously loved each other, it had been clear from Never Forget that they were totally into each other. But I really respected how Bing stayed back and didn’t try anything when Jen was still with Carl, even though it was literally killing Bing to do so.

Ahh Bing… he is so yummy and I totally love him, he starts out as a typical rich boy who gets who and what he wants all the time… but then Jen totally changes him, he grew up a lot in this book and by the end of the book he wasn’t just a spoiled rich boy anymore.

The only thing I didn’t like was the ending, I knew it was the last book in the series, and it was cool to have a down the road look… but I wish there was just one more book or novella kinda like Holding On that was able to let us experience the intervening years with them. Although I had closure, I felt like I missed some major milestones that I wanted to be a part of.

Overall, this was another fantastic book by Emma, I am honestly so excited for everything she writes and I am never disappointed! Everyone should get on the Emma Train! She is just amazing!

If you havn’t seen it yet, go take a look at the Sunday Swoon-o-Meter to see how Bing rates!

Always Remember by Emma Hart

Bing and Jen! Oh no-no sorry Samuel and Jen! Much better!
Witty banter, sexy attitudes! This book has it people, plus it's a fun read! I enjoy Emma's writing style. I have now had the pleasure of reading a few of her books and with each one I am delighted.

This story gives us the story of Bing and Jen. We had the pleasure of meeting them in book one. Best friend and big brother. I had the feeling that something was lurking in each of their hearts.. Very glad to be right!
Bing is Lexy's womanizing, sexy, does not do girlfriends big brother. Jen is Lexy's BFF, shoulder to lean on but smack you in the head to get your head out of your arse friend! I loved Jen in book one. She is sass times a million!

"I'd say I'm very, very fond of your meatballs."
(Sorry Jen just makes me giggle-snort)

Her and Bing fought like cats and dogs- of course they had a thing for one another.
This book takes you into their story and the relationship that they build.
It's funny, sad and happy! It's insanely frustrating at times and you want to strangle both of them. Many many times. However in the end your in love with both. Plus it does not hurt that Bing is sexy and sinful! Then he can be sweet and caring when you least expect it. It's lovely!

"You don't listen and you constantly interrupt me. You have the attention span of a gnat, the patience of a raging PMS hormone, and I don't even think there's anything I can compare to your temper to." His eyes twinkle and I purse my lips. "But it's why I love you. It's what makes you, you. You gotta start listening, cause when I tell you I love you. I mean it. "

I say take a minute sit back and read it. Emma writes in a way that you feel lost in story. It's just enough and not too much! Perfect!
Alex and Lexy are here so if you've not read book one, give it a go! The two stories don't need one another but they do make it even better.
Even Gram showed up just at the right time. Loved it! The epilogue gave us a nice glimpse into the future.. Bravo Ms. Hart!

You can read this and many other reviews on my YA book blog The White Unicorn!

I was excited to dig into Always Remember, primarily because it was going to be all about Jen and Bing. They have been some of my favorite characters in this series ever since Never Forget and I was so excited to see what Emma Hart had in store for these two.

These kids are two of the snarkiest and funniest/rudest people out there. There is something completely hilarious about how Jen and Bing interact that will always put a smile on my face. They both swear like sailors and they both are complete wrecks, but that, oddly is a large part of their charm. I just love watching these two do their thing. Add in some familiar faces from the other two books in the series and you get to watch them interact with even more people. Which is always a good time!

I do feel like the conflict that was brought up in this book wasn't extremely strong. It tried to be, but it just didn't stand out to me. I didn't know what I thought the conflict would be, but I thought it would be more than a bleach blonde who is still hung up on Bing. Hart had such a touching conflict in her first novel and female getting in the way of Jen and Bing just didn't really cut it for me.

I will state right here that this book is the steamiest out of all of the Memories series. Meaning that it's pretty dang steamy. In a way I thought that it might have focused on the sex a little too much. Yes the sex filled banter is funny between Bing and Jen, but it's the moments when that isn't really in the forefront that these characters shine.

I won't tell you what happens in the end, but I thought that it was perfect for the story and I liked how Granny snuck back in to the story, even if it was in a little way. All in all this was a great way to end a fun NA series!

Another great book by Emma Hart!!! I was very happy to read about Sam (Bing) and Jennifer!!!

This is a story of Bing and Jenn and how they have a connection but do not act upon it. Bing knows Jenn is in a long distance relationship but he cannot get her out of his head, and hasn't for the past year and a half. Not since they almost kissed.

Jenn and Carl realize they have been drifting apart and decide to go separate ways. They were both miserable and not happy and it was the logical next step.

Bing does not know that Jenn is now single and is trying so hard to be a good guy. But once he finds out she is single he goes right after what he wants, and what he wants is Jennifer Mason!

Their relationship is going well that is until Heidi, Sam's ex comes into the picture and does whatever she can to try to destroy their relationship.

They definitely have some drama and crazy scenes with the ex!

Will Sam and Jenn be able to make it work or will they throw in the towel becuase its just too much???

I loved this story of these two and I love my happily ever afters! :)

I was waiting for this book as soon as I was done with Never Forget. Then Holding in fuller my desire for more of Jen and Bing. Always remember is their story. When a long time relationship ends because people just grow apart, sometimes the most unexpected surprises come. Jen and Bing flirt and pretend to despise each other. The sexual tension is so hot! You scream "just do it!" We'll they listen!! Bing wants Jen.... Only Jen, but can she trust that his play boy side won't hurt her? Jen wants Bing to prove he can just be with her. But ya know there are so many girls, one in particular that do not want Bing off the market. Alec and Lexy are there to give advice and its great to see them all interact again. I love these characters and am Sad it's at an end.

This book is so hot that your panties might melt. But That's Jen and Bing for you! I will say they might give The Love Game some competition! Well done Emma!

I love Jen. I think she may be my new favorite female book character, ever. I want to be able to have drinks with this girl and pick up the phone and call her when I'm having a really bad day and listen to her make me laugh. That's all I could think about reading this book, is that Jen is someone who I would love to hang out with.

The story is wonderful. It's my first book in the series, so I obviously missed a lot, but even without knowing the full backstory, I still absolutely loved Jen and Bing/Sam.

I think I'll whip this book out often in the future when I'm having a bad day and in dire need of a laugh. I laughed, I smiled, I fanned myself a few times during some of the hotter scenes, I got really mad - a few times, and then I laughed some more.

It was perfect. And all these books set in London makes me desperately wish I could visit just to hear the accents ;-)

Some spoilers***********
Again another enjoyable book. I did have a few complaints with this one. While Alec's and Lexy's story was more of starting out of an emotional relationship this was more physical which I think was on par with the characters. I did not like that we got to see more of the romantic things with them like Sam picking out a ring and proposal. The epilogue 5 years later with them having a daughter named Violet stated Alec and Lexy had twins (Dylan and Maisy) but I feel we kind of missed out with Alec and Lexy's story in a way. They were the couple we fell in love with first and it was like ok Alec moves to London done. I wish we would have gotten more from their relationship as far as their forever moment I guess. Sam and Jen's ending just seemed to get more than what Alec and Lexy's story was given in my opinion.

yeah, wow, okay, I'm disappointed.

I totally loved part 1 of the Memories series.
But this one??

Okay, it's not as cheesy.

But there are like far too many sex scenes. It gets so annoying in the end.

Plus, the way Jen reacts to Heidi is just hilarious and amazing! But then? What's up with this break-up? I mean, what was wrong with her and what did she do with her head?? That was just unbelievably stupid and I could so not understand her reaction (just like everyone else in her surroundings).

So, yeah, all the characters just annoyed me. (except for Saph, god, I love that girl!!)

There was basically no plotline...

So I had to give three stars and not two (what I wanted to do in the beginning) because of the end. Cause that's just awesome. The epilogue... ah yeah, that's what my dreams are made of. Thanks for that.

The rest... definitely not worth reading.

This was the last book from Holding On (Memories, #1.5) by Emma Hart Never Forget (Memories, #1) by Emma Hart series. This story was more about Jen and Bing/Sam love story. At least this book had more heat in it. The heat alone should be rated 4 or 5! The storyline it self was ok. You still got to see the first couple in the first book Lexy and Alec in some ways. And you got a look of their future and ending with a HEA! Solid 4 rating! The first two books was Teen-ish, the last one was adult-ish!

Bing was annoying in the first book and I didn't realize I actually was rooting for him til this book. This book is def better than the first book bc the characters are edgier and funnier. The sex scenes are actually steamy. Again, my only complaint is the "conflict" in this story. I feel since the conflict in the first book was also lackluster, I think Hart needs to work on this area. It seemed kind of stupid and there was overreaction on the character's part. It came close to being out of the blue, but not quite. The conflict shouldn't be so tedious that it makes the whole relationship look like it was worth nothing if that's what's going to cause a serious problem. Other than that, it was a good read.

I loved this book it was sweet, simple and showed the everlasting love between two people that finally got together.

Bing (Sam) is a reformed manwhore fighting for the only girl he has ever really loved but never had

Jen has always wanted Bing but when she thought she couldn't have hime, being her best friends brother and all, she settled for second best.

They've always had something going on between them even when she was with Carl they'd argue to the point you questioned why but it wasn't always bad sometimes it was a bit of banter (or sick foreplay however you want to look at it). So when Bing discovers she's single he finally goes in for it and works to get the only girl he has ever cared for outside his family.

I just have to say I love this series! It is written in a British dialogue, but it is easy to follow.

This story of Bing(Sam) and Jen is a spin-off of the series. I couldn't wait to read Jen and Bing's story once I heard about it! So perfect! Their passion and chemistry was off the charts and I loved their witty humor and their banter was so well written.

This story also wrapped up Alex and Lexie's story and it ended on the perfect note for both couples for me.

I highly recommend this series to anyone who loves a great romance with a little snarky humor, great passion and just the right amount of angst!

Ahh, I loved this book! So many good things about it, but I think my favorite was right before the ending. That part almost had me in tears by how sweet it was. I don't wanna give too much away, but I was "awww-ing" and just smiling at that part.
I love Sam! He's just so amazing. And the last part of this book just made me love him even more! He's just so sweet. And I'm glad that Grandma Vi had an important "part" in this book. She just appeared at the right moment to help.
A definite must read! I would read the first book in this series, just for the background information and for the sweet story of Alec and Lexy.
