I had high hopes for this because of the sassy h, but it kind of didn't go as I thought.
But because this is just a shortie it didn't bother me.
There was a scene in this one, but it didn't match the one from the previous book. If you write these shorties then make certain that the scenes match..

This novella sizzles on the surface—an intense attraction between a brooding Bratva second-in-command and a curvy, flirtatious woman who is "off limits"—but beneath the heat, the emotional scaffolding sometimes wobbles.
Aslan is all grit and control, seemingly undone by Tina, whose teasing reads more performative than empowered. The dynamic wants to explore power play, but it brushes past key conversations and blurs the line between seduction and steamrolling. There is discussion around *wanting* to communicate, but somehow sex keeps interrupting the actual talking.
There are moments that work—especially in the later chapters and epilogue, where things finally cohere and I fell in love with the characters and their dynamic—but I couldn’t ignore the lack of aftercare, the tepid nature of his dominance, or how often Tina’s discomfort was often bypassed and coded as submission.
This story grazes the idea of mutual submission and earned connection; however, to be honest, it’s more like obsession dressed up as love without context as - (to be fair) it's a novella marketed as instalove...which means it lacks the exposition that would have made it a touch more connective.
Still, if you’re craving a dominant man who can’t stay away and a curvy heroine who is a tease, this will definitely scratch the itch. Just know the emotional arc is riiiiggghhhttt at the HEA.

Tina came to visit her sister, Marie (from book 1), after a quick marriage to Viktor (head of the Bratva). Aslan is his right-hand man, and when he sees Tina, he is instantly taken by her, but he doesn't act on it right away.
Tina is confident, bratty and likes to push Aslan's buttons, but he isn't one to play games. He's dominant, quiet and will unalive anyone who hurts her. I loved how he always watched over her and got all possessive!!
When Viktor and Marie go away for a while, Aslan finally makes a move and claims Tina as his! The steam is Hot, and their chemistry is strong. There were a few words that became repetitive, but I don't feel like it took away from the story.
The book is a very quick read with an alpha MMC who thinks "MINE!" and more smut than plot, so if that's your thing, then check out this book!

This was soooo good! I would trade places with Tina in a heartbeat!!
This book was absofrickinlutely delicious!! Imani Jay has always been one of my favorite OTT, instalove, instalust authors. She never fails to bring out her characters' deepest, darkest, and messiest desires. And that's exactly what I loved about Aslan and Tina. From the minute she met him, Tina kept teasing and stirring up the sexual tension between her and Aslan until one day he couldn't hold back his craving for her. The passion, the sexual gymnastics between Tina and Aslan was soooo naughty and filthy it would make a blind man blush! Not me. I loved every minute of it! The filthier, the better!
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was a fast-paced juicy read that I would most definitely recommend to all fans of Imani Jay as well as for readers that love OTT, instalove, and instalust interracial romances. Aslan and Tina's story will definitely keep you glued to these digital pages.

But what I got to experience was a full on lava hot, steamy and a bit of a dirty and filthy romance. When Tina Gaye returns home to visit her sister Maria, who is now married to Viktor, she does not know what she is walking into. Viktor is the head of the Bratva family and Aslan is his right-hand man. One look between Tina and Aslan and the games are about to begin. I had a difficult time trying to decide what to rate this book. Because honestly I don't feel like the Bratva element should have been brought into it because I had no relevance on this book absolutely no presence in it. And Aslan in my opinion didn't come off like any kind of dumb I've ever met and I've met plenty. Chino is in town to see her sister but she had an instant attraction to Aslan. That he's very serious and grumpy and so she does whatever she can to push his buttons. If this has been marketed as just a straight smut book I would have gave it five stars if they left out so called Bratva and Dom elements. It should have been marketed as in OTT, Smut insta attraction. Because there's no denying that this was super super hot.

She is excited to be visiting her sister who just got married. Her sister married a Bratva Boss and it is her first time in that world. When she sees him for the first time, her brother in law’s enforcer, she loves to push his buttons. He is dark, brooding, fierce, domineering and the best looking man she has ever seen. He wants to stay away from her but he can’t seem to, and the more she teases him the more he wants her. Wants to dominate her, bind her to him and never let her out of his bed. This is a high steam low plot quick read. If you like OTT dangerous possessive men this might be a read for you. It is quick, lots of steamy spice and a determined Dom.

It's a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, age-gap, opposites-attract, grumpy-sunshine, Dom-sub lite, curvy girl gets her mafia man darkish romance. Tina is a sassy, bratty, curvy girl and the younger sister of the Don's wife. Aslan is the hunky, grumpy, dominant right-hand man for the mafia head. Tina should be off limits but she loves pushing Aslan's buttons and he's ready to put her in her place. The chemistry between these two was hot and the ending was happy after some drama. It was more smutty than emotional until the end, but that is not a complaint. I loved it.

This book was everything that I love: spice, spice and more spice. Mine, mine, mine behavior. Grumpy MMC. Aslan read like pure sex off of the page and I want more! My only complaint is that I need more. The chemistry between Tina and Aslan was off the charts and I have no notes. I think I found my new favorite author and I am ready to go and read her previous works before I read this gem again.
My Bravta Stalker was also a hit with me and again I needed that to be longer (can't ever have too much of a good MMC).
Imani Jay is now an instant read for me. I won't even need to read the blurb. If she writes it, I'll read it. Period.

This was a fun and very hot read that brings Tina into Aslan's sphere. She's in town visiting her sister and Aslan is the right hand of her brother-in-law. The sparks between these two are off-the-charts hot. I love how she was bratty and pushed Aslan to get him to react...and have all his attention ;P Aslan deals with angst over her connection to his boss but that eventually goes out the window as he makes her his. He's so dominant and possessive ;D Tina didn't know she was submissive, but she sure figured that out with his edge play and other spicy things. Definitely plot lite but engaging and steamy for a fun reading ride :D

Aslan strictly controls himself and it is so awesome to watch him unravel around Tina. She has no idea what she is getting herself into, yet she intrinsically knows Aslan is exactly what she wants. These two are fire and ice and everything in between. I was transfixed as I kept turning the pages. Author Imani Jay has crafted a sexy and seductive novella filled with lust, passion, purpose, and power. So good!

The FMC Tina is Marie's sister from the My Bratva Stalker. She is a free spirit, very vocal, and confidant in her looks and sexuality. The MMC, Alsan is Viktor's second in command. He is like a quiet storm, but little does Tina know he has a dominant side that brings nothing but fire and spice. Tina flirts and tempts Aslan until he combusts and can no longer hide his feelings. The boom is fire and spicy. Imani Jay gives us the insta-lust and insta-love with the right amount of passion, naughtiness, and darkness. I loved every minute of this book.

I love this author, but I nearly gave up on this one.
I’m giving this story 4 stars because, while it was a really good story and sequel to “My Bratva Stalker” (which I loved so much), I was really frustrated by the sex scenes. Aslan felt reluctant to claim Tina because she was the younger sister of his boss and off limits. When he did start to pursue her, he spent a lot of time pleasuring Tina with his hands and tongue, which is fine, but it took nearly 65 % of the book for him to finally consummate their relationship. I nearly gave up several times, but they finally got down to business. Just be warned of the slow burn.

Tina and Aslan are instantly burning for each other within seconds of meeting each other. They naturally fall into an almost destined dom,sub relationship, although Tina is not completely, 100 percent sub...yet.
I would have liked more reveals of the characters' personality outside the lusting after each other. Scenes of them together engaging in some carnal acts kept repeating back to back it became cyclical and predictable.

What a great book! Tina is in town visiting her sister Marie since she married a big Bravta boss. What Tina wasn't expecting was meeting the terrifyingly hot, grumpy, second in command Aslan. He is definitely not here to entertain anyone especially Tina. But Tina like to play with fire and she will find out happens when she pokes the scary sexy Russian gangster. Her sister won't be able to save her from that man. Enjoy 😜.

Loved it
Another great book of the Bratva dom series
This is the second book and is about Aslan and Tina.

Great read from the first page to the end with them both meeting for the first time and chemistry is off the charts with tina's sassy attitude and Aslan growls like a lion.
It's a hot and steamy read great characters well written with a hea.

I like this but he’s too repetitive
I like this story, but it seemed like it moved a bit fast. Aslan curses a bit too much for my liking and I wonder if it was Tina’s first time, it doesn’t say. And I wonder how long after the end of the story the epilogue is, how many months pregnant is she? And did she get pregnant as soon as she moved in or was it from their first night together? And what is she doing career wise? Does she have any close friends? It just seemed a bit rushed, I would like it to be a bit liver.

This was a quick brain cleanse story. While it was fast paced and good, the characters weren't fleshed out. The spice between Tina and Aslan was good. She loved giving him a difficult time. The feeling the reader was dropped into the middle of a story without any information left this reader feeling frustrated. The attraction begins immediately in this book. The steam is quick to appear. And, WOW! Just wow. It doesn’t let up either. It’s spicy, spicy. Not to mention the love the two main characters have for each other. This was a terrific short read that moves quickly and has very little drama. But it’s oh, so good. I definitely recommend this book.

Tina goes to visit her sister, Maria, and is met at the airport by Aslan. Tina's intrigued and teasing. Aslan can't stay away, she's gotten under his skin. For weeks Aslan takes it only so far, out of respect of his boss, and Maria's husband, Viktor. Then when Maria and Viktor leave on a trip all resistance is off. Aslan takes Tina to his home and completes what they've both been wanting.

Enjoyed the story. Tina has gone to check up on her sister, Marie, who is married to the bratva boss. Aslan is the enforcer and when he picks her up he finds that she knows how to push his buttons. Tina decides she wants to see him lose control and when he does, she is willing to fall apart for him. I enjoyed reading this story.

This was a wonderful Bratva story. The interaction between Aslan and Tina was fantastic, especially how she constantly gets him on edge and knows which buttons to push. Even though he's the Bratva Enforcer and fighting his feelings for her, it doesn't take long for things to heat up between them. A wonderful story with plenty of steam and heated moments.
