It's been four years since I've escaped that hellhole. Unfortunately, my life hasn't gotten any easier since then. My bloodlust has only intensified, causing me to struggle within society. The only thing that's motivating me nowadays is getting revenge.
I have my targets. No matter how messed up my mental state is, I will hunt them down. This is my only purpose in life.

Blood of the Sinner must be read before reading Sinner’s Revenge, and please note book two is bloodier and much more gruesome than book one. This is not a story for splatter beginners. That being said, I am equal parts grossed out and emotional after reading Sinner’s Revenge. You continue with Aria’s “healing” journey where bodies be dropping like flies and get the added bonus of multiple POVs and all the feels.
It will never cease to amaze me how I can feel emotional + equally stomach churning moments throughout these short novellas. You do need to read blood of the sinner first because we are continuing Aria’s story-but damn! I wasn’t expecting that additional POV. Whew lord.
Not for the faint of heart and please for the love of god check your triggers.
The second instalment of the Unholy Downfall series is much more violent than the first. Aria Monroe takes revenge to a whole other level as she starts going after the parents of her rapist, her dear friend Piper's uncle Lucas, and her own parents.
The ending is a little too sad for my liking, but since I have a gut feeling that it's not the end END, I'm letting it slip.
As a religious cult survivor, I've definitely had a lot of dark thoughts. Aria's story is peppered with sexual abuse, gaslighting, and abandonment, and these forms of torture have led her mind to fracture and break. My own mind has suffered similar damage, and reading her story has helped me cope with my own dark thoughts.
I'm looking forward to reading more about Aria, Wyatt, Sin, and how she comes back from the dead to avenge herself. At least, that's what I think will happen. 🤭
I wasn’t ready for this one 😭😭 despite the terribly sad ending… it appears that there will be another book. So maybe I shouldn’t be too sad? 🤞
Sinners Revenge follows Aria four years later after having unalived her rapist. Aria has been in a dark place ever since her history of abuse. She is dead set on getting revenge. Her pain is so strong and controls her every move on impulse. Time to go after the rest who have caused her all of this suffering. She’s going to finish this once and for all.
This second book of the series really had me in my feels man. Please check your triggers before diving in. This one is far more dark than the first.
Sinners Revenge releases on March 17th, 2025. Make sure to read Blood of the Sinner first if you haven’t already!
5⭐️ Who says sequels aren’t good? This was an absolutely banger. It was bloodier, gorier and more emotional, with some added depth due to multiple POVs. We continue our journey with Aria who has done some pretty messed up things for her freedom and she still has a lust for revenge. Definitely trust those TWs because they are no joke. I was cringing and pausing multiple times, but I had a great time!
I was so excited to continue reading about Aria’s story. It is interesting to me that I can’t find a lot to relate to with Aria and in one thought I’m like “GIRL WHY” but then I also remember the abuse she has endured and it is like, would I do the same thing? It is the part of me that works in mental health that I’m still in my head trying to help a fictional character, which is quite funny. All that aside this was a wonderful installment of the Unholy Downfall series.
It’s been four years since Aria survived the horrible terrors at the religious school she was sent to. While she was able to get revenge on Eddie, she has a few more people she has every intention of destroying - all the ones who didn’t believe her or protect her in the past.
Loved seeing that Wyatt ended up in this book. I know he is flawed but I just wanted to hug him. Also love to read more about Sin 🐀🩶 Deathly Rose absolutely said “hold my beer” when she was writing this book, so for the love of God (that’s actually kind of funny given the story) check your triggers. She can write in a way that makes me want to cry on one page and throw up on the next. A true talent when it comes to extreme horror.
You’ll see a theme with the reviews in this book and it’s about the sad ending. And I couldn’t agree more. Incredibly gutted. My jaw dropped a few times in the last couple of chapters and the subtle cliffhanger has me wondering about what we will find out next.
Keep it coming Ms. Rose! 🥀 Thank you for letting me ARC read for you again, I had the best and worst time with Sinners Revenge!🩸🔪🪦
Four years after the tragic accidents of Sinners Revenge, Aria is back, and she has a goal. Her goal is revenge. Her mental health has and is declining. She doesn't care about anyone except Sin (her pet rat) and her 1 only friend. She works as a cam girl where she does some of the most depraved acts asked by her fans. One anonymous person takes things a little too far, and soon Arias past and present self will collide.
Book 2 is much darker and much more painful. Aria is a broken mess from everything that's happened and sees life in a very dark way. Some of her feelings are extremely relatable. It's scary. The new anonymous character presented in book 2 is mean, nasty, ruthless, and exactly how I love villains. Definitely proceed with caution as this one has a lot of triggers. Your mental health matters and the authors note touches on that. I absolutely loved this one. Very painful, very raw, it was a great addition. Don't sleep on this indie author
Not going to lie, I teared up at the end. This is an amazing follow up to the first book. Aria’s despair is palpable throughout the story, and I just want to hug her. I really enjoyed the abundance of grossness. I loved how there is a great balance within the book. There is lots of gore, yet Aria’s story has so much depth and emotion behind it. Great read!
I buddy read this book the day after reading the first. I felt all of the emotions with this one! I was happy for aria, sad for her and then stunned! This was a great read but one scene caused me to pause!
And Aria is back! Book two we found ourselves with more violence, more gore, and multiple point of views. I did *not* see that one lil twist coming of one POV and I’m here for it. Y’all, my jaw is still on the floor with the ‘Head. Torso. Arms. Legs.’ I thought that touch, while disturbing, was unique. As the title suggests, Aria gets her revenge and more. Mid heart breaks for Aria and that’s all I can say without spoilers.
Highly recommend reading the first book Blood of the Sinner and then dive here in to Sinner’s revenge. Deathly Rose is a new author on the scene and I’m so happy to have found her. Can’t wait for more!
💬 “It’s wise to fear the ones who have nothing to lose.”
This is not a book for spallterpunk beginners that's for sure!! I was not ready for this at all. Aria's life after the horrors she suffered in book 1 gave me hope that she would be happy and free one day. Especially knowing she was still friends with Wyatt. The chapters with the anonymous killer were reallt difficult to read cuz he was the sickest of the sick, the worst of the worst and the detailed way his actions are described were grotesque and stomach churning. I had to pause after his 'lunch' scene. The ending was incredibly sad but also felt right, it couldn't have ended any differently. Aria gets the ending she probably needed, even if its not what she deserved.
Aria is back with a vengeance. Sinner’s revenge is the sequel of Blood of a Sinner and let me tell you… if the first one was violent… this one is extreme! It really doesn't hold back. In Sinner’s Revenge we get to see an older Aria, that earns her life as a cam girl and gets drunk on her spare time. Her only motivation in life is revenge and she’s coming for everyone that did her wrong. I dare to say that this sequel is better than the first instalment. It is brutal! When I say check the trigger warnings I mean it. I have to point out the several POV’s we have in this book. It made it so much more interesting and helped with the build up for a perfect ending.
Sinner’s Revenge is going to be released on the 17th March… and if you haven’t read Blood of the Sinner yet… Please do! It’s available on Kindle Unlimited.
4.5 stars Wow this packs a brutally devastating punch in the best way.
This is NOT for the faint of heart, proceed with caution! But if you do dive in you’re in a hell of a ride. Short and sweet? The revenge in this definitely was but so bittersweet too. I thought the first book was intense but this made the first one seem like a light warm up, especially the first chapter in Anonymous’ POV I had to skim a couple of lines.
Aria the FMC is back years later and just scraping by. Working as a cam girl for dark web website she’s been saving her money and biding her time until she can finish dishing out her revenge on the family and people that hurt and traumatized her as a little girl.
This was crazy, good, but also crazy and that ending.. omgg! Definitely recommend.
Wow! Aria’s return and vengeance was a wild ride and I loved every second! This second book was brilliant, it was good to see disgustingly macabre justice served to those who wronged our main character. This was the perfect balance of stomach churning gore and female rage. I was actually cheering on from the side lines in parts. Deathly Rose, the author, is going from strength to strength and I can see a real development in their story telling within this book and ability to provide horrific narrative without sacrificing character. Very excited for the new release coming out soon.

Sinner's Revenge, sequel to Blood of the Sinner, is a dark, raw and extremely brutal story of revenge on those who truely deserve their untimely demise. You will be flogged figuratively by the power punching words that create this masterpiece of a story. Much darker than the first book but an extremely exhilarating read. A 5 star rating isn't enough for this book. I absolutely loved it!
I love a good sequel, and this one did not disappoint! It was such an intense and blood-filled journey from start to finish. Watching Aria spiral was both heartbreaking and horrifying, as she picks off those on her list one by one.
