“Unbreakable Spirit is a deeply inspiring tale of hope, resilience, and the strength to overcome life's toughest challenges. Jajuan's journey serves as a powerful reminder that success is built through the choices we make each day. His story resonates deeply, not just because of its hardships, but because it empowers readers to believe in their own ability to persevere. - Dr. John Gaines, Founder, PUSH Inspiration

“As an attorney with over two decades of experience in the criminal justice system, as a Judge, and as the mother of a child inflicted with mental illness, I am deeply aware of the cruelty these mental health conditions can bring. I first met Jajuan and Misty Winesberry during a presentation they gave at a time when I had lost all hope while watching my adult son decline into the depths of mental illness. After attending that presentation, I left with a renewed sense of hope, realizing that we can not only coexist with mental illness but also thrive despite its challenges. Jajuan and Misty offered essential insights and practical tools for effectively navigating these challenges.

The same is true for his book. In “Unbreakable Spirit," Jajuan offers a compelling and refreshing perspective on navigating life's challenges through his personal stories and struggles. By sharing his own experiences, he effectively dispels the myths and stigma surrounding mental illness, providing a voice of hope for those affected. His insights resonate not just with individuals dealing with mental health issues, but also with anyone facing various obstacles in life.

Jajuan stands as a testament to the effectiveness of the practical and uplifting strategies he shares. The book is truly inspiring and motivational, encouraging readers to adopt a proactive mindset when confronted with adversity. Overall, it is a profoundly rewarding read for anyone seeking guidance on resilience and personal growth, and I highly recommend it.”

- Cynthia Macklin, Attorney at Law

“This is one of the most powerful books you will ever read. I do not say that lightly. For 25 years, I’ve written my own books, devoured countless others, and mentored many in writing their stories. But this book…it changed me. It now holds a permanent place in my Top Five books to share.

I’ve dog-eared pages, highlighted passages, and covered it with sticky notes—because Jajuan’s words don’t just speak, they reach you. His raw honesty pulls back the curtain on his darkest moments, offering a profound the reassurance that we are not alone.

Jajuan masterfully walks the delicate balance of sharing his faith without preaching, revealing his journey without pretense, and offering his hard-earned wisdom without easy answers. Pain is real. It’s messy. It’s complex. But no matter how deep the hurt, Jajuan’s story is a beacon—proving that hope is real, too.

This is the sometimes heartbreaking, sometimes heartwarming, but ultimately life affirming story of one man's journey to accept and deal with his mental illness diagnosis. I love the raw honesty and the complicated emotions and real-life struggles that Jajuan shares in this book.

I feel that Jajuan's story can inspire and help anyone who has struggled in life, not just those who have mental illness, or who have a loved one with a mental illness. We have all been dealt blows or setbacks in life that we were unprepared for and found ourselves feeling like giving up. One of my favorite quotes is from the introduction, "We can all benefit from becoming more resilient, more hopeful. No matter what your struggle is, you can keep going when you feel like giving up."

Two of my biggest takeaways after reading this book, are the absolutely invaluable necessity of a great support system and that ultimately you have to do the work yourself! Even the greatest of support teams of friends and family will not get you in the right mindset or fix your life for you. You are the only one who can build your own hope and resilience and live your life.

I was lucky enough to get to read the manuscript for this book before publication and provide feedback for the author. I am so excited to see where Jajuan's story goes next and how many lives are touched by his influence. Thank you for sharing your story with the world, Jajuan!
