Yes, I am. Pour that sugar on me and turn me loose. I’ll have you wanting to ride me like a pony by the end of the night. I’ll be that Vegas temptation you think about for years to come. I live and breathe this lifestyle and am not afraid to admit it. I thought I had it all. That is until I see the set of tearful puppy dog eyes from my stepsister. Before I realize it, I find myself opening my home to the one thing I can’t have. Lainey. She’s my personal hell and heaven wrapped up in a layer of forbidden. I absolutely cannot act on these urges to strip her clothes off with my teeth and tease her until she is screaming my name. This is a dance I don’t know the steps to, but I’m not willing to give up until I learn the moves that will make her mine.

This story is bold, intoxicating, and completely unputdownable. It’s the kind of romance that burns hot while still digging into the emotions and vulnerabilities of its characters. The tension is deliciously forbidden, the chemistry electric, and the writing pulls you in.
There is a raw honesty in the narration, it’s unapologetic, daring, and brimming with temptation, yet it never loses the thread of heart running through it. You’ll find yourself torn between wanting to slow down and savor it, and racing ahead to see just how far the fire will go.

This was such a cute quick read! Little taboo because of step siblings (which I love and am here for), tension the characters all so good. Lainey and Hunter will stick with me for awhile! And of course butterball! Spice is low but I didn’t mind. As a hard core dark romantic reader this was a nice little fluff in between!!

Steamy novels are not my usual read, but I have the system which allows me to read them and rate them. I ask myself - does the story work without spicy scenes?
Well, I have to tell you that the novella "Strip Tease" by Callie Meadows would have been even better. We have well-written characters with interesting back stories. I would love to explore that.


Can't wait to read next novels and short stories written by Callie Meadows.

I really enjoyed this book! It’s a very light read which is sometimes very refreshing! This book took me about 4 to 5 hours to read and you get to fall in love with Hunter and Lainey! Step siblings 🥵 one of my favorite troupes! Hunter is the stripper and Lainy the virgin love it! I give this book 🌶️🌶️ out of 5 for spice!

This was a fun, quick read! Lightly taboo, fun banter, great friendships, and a sweet romance. Low spice but a good amount of tension for a novella! I'll definitely be checking out more from this author and series!
