The feisty, green-eyed brunette who stole my coffee thought she was being cute. The last thing this billionaire needs is a thief in his life—especially one with a sharp tongue, a fiery temper, and legs that go on for days.
But one wild night in Sin City changes everything. They say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.
The only thing I left in Vegas was my single status—and my wife.
Six years ago, my playboy lifestyle came to a screeching halt. These days, my life revolves around boardrooms, dance recitals, and mastering the perfect bun for my little girl. That is until Gracyn Carmichael comes crashing into it, flipping everything upside down.
Turns out she stole more than my coffee.
I can’t stay away, even with thousands of miles between us. She thinks our drunken wedding night was a mistake. I’m here to prove my wife wrong. Because when I want something, I close the deal.
But when the past we never saw coming collides with the future I’m trying to build…I might just lose it all.
Tina Saxon lives in Dallas, Texas, with her husband and two kids. She’s not afraid to try new things because it’s outside the box of typical housewife. CEO of her home is by far the most rewarding job she has ever had. Her jobs include, but are not limited to, seamstress, carpenter, craft extraordinaire, PTA President, chauffeur, dance mom, mediator—of mentioned kids—and author. Once upon a time she was a Financial Analyst but traded budgets and forecasts in for diapers and bottles. The former was definitely easier but the latter more fulfilling.
Tina’s love for reading surged into her passion for writing. Wanting to bring the reader an intriguing story that’s hard to put down with steamy love scenes that heat you up, she’s always thinking of the perfect way to take you down that path.
Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I love this couple! A stolen coffee leads to an invite to a bachelor party in Vegas. Which led to you know what. An accidental wedding. They are from two completely different worlds. He’s the CEO of a company and she’s in college to be a teacher. And they live on opposite sides of the country. There’s no way a relationship would work out. The chemistry between Gracyn and Brooks, the drama, the spice, and those letters made this a 5 star read!
This is a new author for me and she did not disappoint. i could not put this down, literally had me hooked by chapter 1 and stayed up until 2am to finish.
It was the perfect mix of contemporary single dad, accidental marriage with some mystery/suspense mixed in and just a teeny tiny bit of organized crime 😚 🤌🏼
Gracyn and Brooks meet in a coffee shop is Vegas when Gray steals Brooks’ coffee because why wouldn’t she steal the hot guy’s coffee?? obviously this makes them strike up a conversation and they instantly hit it off. Brooks invites Gray to meet him out that night (even though he’s at a bachelor party) and it ends with an accidental marriage and starts a very interesting relationship..
Gray is finishing up college in Vegas to become a teacher and Brooks is a billionaire CEO and single dad in New York. It seems impossible to make it work but every time they see each other (which is a lot considering they live 2 thousand miles apart) they can’t get enough of each other.
An annulment was always the plan but the more time they spend together, the more Brooks isn’t sure he can give her up…
-meet cute -8 year age gap -single dad -billionaire x first grade teacher -accidental marriage -suspense -organized crime ties -“my wife” -banter
I don’t even know how to describe how much I loved this book. Graclyn is such a firecracker and an amazing FMC. Her energy and personality is so contagious. Brooks was a *swoon* great MMC that you knew he always got what he wanted. All around this was a fantastic he fell first, drunken Vegas marriage book. I wish the book truly never had to end.
“If there’s anything worse than getting hitched to a guy you can’t remember, it’s figuring out how to become unhitched to a guy that lives out of state and is ignoring you.”
Gracyn and Brooks find themselves married after a night in Las Vegas. What follows is chaos! The banter between these two is great! The family dynamics and power players are a great addition to the story. The way their relationship develops and how protective Brooks is over her?! So swoony!
Tropes: Single Dad Billionaire Age Gap Accidental Wife “My Wife”
Review based on an ARC - but that didn't impact my review.
Wedded Chaos had a fun, high-drama premise that initially intrigued me - a stolen coffee and a surprise Vegas wedding? Yes, please. This was my first read by Tina Saxon, and while I appreciated the setup and the promise of chaos and chemistry, the execution didn't quite land for me.
Gracyn and Brooks meet in a quirky, if slightly far-fetched, coffee shop scene. She's impulsive, he's amused, and what follows is a whirlwind of drinking, dancing, and a marriage that only one of them remembers. Cue the amnesia, an ER trip, and a whole lot of dramatic reveals - including billionaire secrets, crime family ties, and a kidnapping plot. There's certainly no shortage of action.
That said, the pacing and tone felt disjointed at times. The writing veered from overly juvenile to melodramatic, and I struggled to connect with either of the main characters. Gracyn's internal monologue often felt immature, and Brooks' role as a powerful CEO and devoted single dad clashed awkwardly with his questionable judgment in Vegas. Their relationship dynamic leaned more on plot twists than emotional development, which made it hard for me to invest in their romance.
I did enjoy some of the lighter moments - the banter, the initial meet-cute, and Brooks' daughter, who added charm and humor. But overall, the story felt overstuffed with tropes and twists that didn't always cohere, and many of the plot points (especially the big reveal that I won't specifically mention for the sake of spoilers) were predictable and convenient.
For readers who enjoy chaotic, trope-heavy romance with surprise weddings, minor suspense, and a billionaire dad falling for the girl next door, this might hit the spot. For me, it missed the emotional grounded and character depth I was looking for.
This was my first read from Tina Saxon. I am so happy I found another great author.
The story sparked my curiosity early, and I finished it in one day. It read so easy and the storyline was not as predictable as I thought. Quite a few twists and turns, which kept my attention. One stolen coffee, one night in Vegas – a lot of chaos!
You will feel the confusion, frustration and heat in this book!
I absolutely loved this book! Starting off with a stolen coffee had me hooked, but the witty banter between Gray and Brooks and their nonstop adventures made it impossible to put down. These two will keep you on your toes in the best possible way. This book has the perfect balance of romance, sass, and suspense!
I had the privilege of receiving an ARC for this book. This book starts off with coffee and ends with a HEA. What more do you need? Give me a single dad, throw in that he’s a billionaire and you’ve got the recipe for a great book.
This book was a billionaire, Vegas oops! And I ate it up! The FMC is funny and has little no memory of the oops! The MMC is rich, sexy, oh and did I mention single dad with an adorable daughter!
Thank you @NetGalley for the ARC. I could not stop reading this book. I loved Brooks and Gray story. Sometimes what happens in Vegas is meant to be. A must read.
I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this book—and I absolutely devoured it!
I completely fell in love with the FMC, Gracyn. I was totally fangirling over her—seriously, who has the guts to steal someone’s coffee order? I loved how confident and self-assured she was for most of the story; it made her so refreshing to read.
And let’s be honest, I’m a sucker for a grumpy billionaire single dad trope—it gets me every time.
Truthfully, if I’d only seen the cover, I might have scrolled past it, as it didn’t immediately catch my eye. But I’m so glad I gave it a chance, because I ended up really enjoying the story.
There are a few heavier themes mentioned throughout, though they’re not the central focus, definitely keep that in mind before giving this a crack.
All in all, I flew through this one in under 24 hours—and loved it!
Everyone knows that the saying, ¨what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas¨ is a fantasy, but what happens when you want to keep that ¨souvenir¨ after all? I received an advanced reader copy of this book for free from Valentine PR and I am leaving this review voluntarily. All thoughts are my own. This is my first book by the author and I must say it definitely does not disappoint. Gray is about to start her ¨real life¨ now that she’s almost graduated from college. When a chance encounter at a coffee shop, with one of the most hilarious first meetings I´ve read about in a long time, evolves into a ER trip and shock wedding announcement, Gray is scrambling to find her footing once again. This tough cookie decides to handle her marriage dissolution like a ¨grown up,¨ but her next meeting with dreamy Brooks doesn’t seem to end any differently since the flames of heat between these two are red hot. I love the fact that, while youngish, Gray is strong and decisive as opposed to a simpering fool. Her home life has certainly been different than many are probably used to but she’s practical and not spoiled in the extreme that many twentysomethings (sorry, not sorry) seem to be now a days. Brooks definitely has the requisite good looks, but lets just say his charm can be lacking at times, althou who can blame him given his past. He also has had an intriguing upbringing, but his devotion to his daughter is the star attraction in my opinion. The heat between these two hits you right from the start, but the mix of humor and intrigue makes the story a fast read, as I was constantly wanting to find out what happened next. the twists and turns are shockingly just enough of a surprise that the I was still surprised at the end. I also love the fact that these two are opposites in many ways, yet they are so perfect for each other and balance each other quite well as a duo and a trio with his daughter. The cute antics of little Presley will have you laughing out loud, especially when you reach the ending and find out that this little miss is pretty determined in her own right. If you’re in the mood for a fun, contemporary romance with a single dad, strong female main character, and a bit of mystery then you definitely have to read this book. 5 stars must read.
This was a very close 5 star read for me. I honestly loved pretty much everything and am so glad I stumbled upon it. This is an author new to me and I will definitely be reading her other books. But back to this one - for starters, I love an accidental marriage romance. I love seeing the characters try to figure everything out, I love the forced proximity and I love the way they slowly fall in love with each other. And this was the case here. I really liked Gray, I thought she was a great female lead. She was strong and knew herself and her worth, and despite her reservations, she did allow herself to open up and give Brooks a chance. And I also quite liked Brooks - he was funny and charming and again, I thought he was a good male lead. I liked them together, I liked their banter and friendship but I could see how perfect they were for a romantic relationship too. And I thought little Presley was adorable too. The reason that this isn’t 5 stars is because there was an incident that happens around 60% ish. And in one breath, it felt like it came out of nowhere and was so dramatic and out of place for the story, but then in another breath, seeds were planted about a particular character throughout the book so you knew something was going to happen - I just didn’t think it would be what actually happened. So I just found it a bit weird. And I can understand the stress and grief and anger that Brooks was going through, but I didn’t appreciate how he treated Gray during that time and then handled the situation after. He left her for 3 months, didn’t grovel on page, and when they do meet again, they agree to date. Then we skip 6 months ahead, then again to the epilogue. It felt really rushed. I also feel like we didn’t get to see these two in an actual relationship. Whilst they were waiting to get an annulment, Brooks found reasons to visit on the weekends but that’s all it really amounted to. Weekend, flying visits. And whilst I still enjoyed their scenes, I would have liked more. And more interactions with Gray and Presley. But aside from those things, I did thoroughly enjoy this. I will go back now and read the series that is set before this, now knowing that I like this author’s writing. Definitely 4.5.
Lord, have mercy this book!!! I don't even know where to start. Gracyn and her bestie are at a coffee shop and she impetuously decides to swipe this guys cup of coffee! (she doesn't drink coffee). He should/could be really angry or at least annoyed but he's not! He thinks she's cute so after calling her out for the theft he follows his gut and follows her out. He gives her his card and invites her to meet him at a party. Ok...so this is where it gets really interesting. We get to them dancing then the chapter ends. We assume we're going to read about their incredible night and impromptu wedding....but NO... Gracyn wakes up in the hospital! Apparently she was hit by a car and can't remember the night. She remembers the coffee shop and she remembers dancing with the hot guy...but other than that...nothing. The hottie from the coffee shop is actually billionaire Brooks Handley from New York. He's a single dad to the sweetest little girl, Presley. He reluctantly left Gray sleeping with a note wishing they could have had more time. Gray finds out that she did more than dance that night when a family friend let's her know that her marriage license came across their desk. After multiple attempts to get in touch with Brooks, Gray makes the trip to New York to confront him. Ya'll this book is crazy. There is so much that happens in every single chapter! *Gray meets Presley *Gray confronts Brooks *Brooks is reluctant to end the marriage *Gray is drugged * They can't stay away from each other * There are mafia ties * A kidnapping * A judge who refuses to grant an annulment * Vicious paparazzi * 2 letters * Assumptions * ACTUAL CONVERSATIONS TO CLEAR UP MISUNDERSTANDINGS!
And so on.... I just opened this book to refresh my memory and had to tell myself to put the book down!!! This wonderful piece of literature had so many twists and turns that I literally could not put it down! I was originally going to give it 4 Stars but after reading my review....it deserves the 5 Stars!!!! Huge thanks to Tina Saxon and Grey's Promotions for sending me this ARC! I loved every single word!
What a great story, my first by Tina Saxon but I absolutely loved it, no cliffhanger, no cheating, lots of twists and turns, lots of humour, lots of passion, Oh, and the cutest six year old. Gracyn (Grey) Carmichael's life was quite complex, brought up by her attorney mother and Chief Judge step father, her wealthy biological father was a bit dodgy but owned half the hotels in Vegas. Grey was level headed but fun loving, she had worked the bar in one of her fathers hotels to pay her own way through collage and was on the cusp of starting a new job as a primary school teacher. Along with best friend Charli Gray thought that it would be a good laugh to steal a coffee whilst standing in the coffee shop queue, a coffee belonging to devastatingly handsome Brooks Handley. Instead of a reprimand, Brooks invited them to a stag party.......this is Vegas, the drink flowed, the chemistry is electric, Gray wakes up in hospital with no idea how she got there until...........the marriage certificate landed on her mother's desk. A mortified Gray knew that she had to get an annulment but that was easier said than done, Brookes, CEO of one of New York[s biggest marketing companies was not answering her calls, undeterred, Gray dressed to kill and gate crashed Brooks' partner's wedding with the annulment papers. This story follows Gray's attempts to end the marriage but Brooks is stalling and every time they meet the attraction gets stronger, throw in a cute six year old who desperately wants a mommy, not just any mommy, she wants Grey. This story twists and turns, secrets are revealed, old scores are faced and Brooks faces a fear that no parent should have to face. I couldn't put this book down, it had me reading far into the night. Thank you Net Gallery for this Thank you Greys Promotions for this ARC, my review is voluntary.

ARC REVIEW. What one may love, another may not and vice versa! This is my personal review.
I absolutely loved this book! Being a huge fan of Tina's books, this one definitely hit the mark. Just a little spice, hard to not love MMC & FMC, great storyline, and for me a great palate cleaner! I usually read dark romance smut but in between I love something that cleanses the palate and is calmer than my usual read and this was just what I needed! I couldn't put it down as it was easy to read and had me excited with ...nevermind no spoilers lol. I would say if you've read any of her books, this is a must read!! If you have not, definitely need to start reading all of her books! I highly recommend Wedded Chaos!
This was another new author for me and I was hooked immediately. What could be better than a trip to Vegas to celebrate a buddy's bachelor party, meet a young lady and end up married!
Brooks Handley, 32 is the CEO of a marketing company out of New York and a single dad. He's in Las Vegas to celebrate his buddy at his bachelor party. What could possibly go wrong? While getting coffee a young lady "takes" his and of course she peaks his interest. He gives her his card and invites her to the party later on.
Gracyn "Gray" Carmichael is 24 and is just finishing college to be a teacher. She and her bestie go for coffee, she sees him steals his coffee, something she doesn't even drink and he's intrigued. She gets an invite to the party telling her his name will get her in, of course she laughs because she can get in by herself, she has her own connections.
Their chemistry is off the charts and after a night of partying to wake up in the morning and find out they are married is a shock. Time for an annulment. And so it begins, lol "Just call it our wedded chaos."
Their bantering back and forth is a riot. She's snarky and not about to let him get away with anything. She goes to his buddy's wedding so she can serve him with papers. She doesn't want anything from him, just the annulment no matter what he's worth. He's not going to let her go that easily and the judge keeps putting their annulment off. The more time they spend together they grow closer.
Things happen that shakes Brooks' world and of course he takes it out on Gray. "You were a mistake. You were never meant to be a part of my world." Is this the end?
5 stars Loved it! The twists and turns will keep you on the edge. Loved Presley!
You have Gray who is essentially princess of Vegas, her family has corner the market of casinos/bars/clubs from her biological dad, to the court of laws from her stepdad, to straight up how to act, behave, or get around law from her mom.
For whatever reason, it was fun to screw with tourist and grab their coffee, and happened to grabbed it from CEO multimillionaire Brooks.
Whatever they were doing, got trash-sh*t drunk, and cliche' got married. That was good and fine, at least Gray has the sense to get it annulled. Except Brooks is being an ass and not return call, so Gray grabbed life by the balls and addressed it herself, and go serve him paper herself by crashing a wedding.
What strikes me is that Brooks who is so protective of himself was a playboy, and now it's totally on the other side of spectrum, always suspect people want something from him. Gray could care less, she has her life goals, she got both the light and the dark in Vegas to protect her and watch over her. And for once, she wants nothing Brooks has to offer.
As they get to know each other, she still has no demand and puts up with Brooks hot and cold. P.s. that I love Her/I hate Her bit was giving me a whiplash. Turns out this relationship is so destined in more ways than one, and after going thru something traumatic she should've very well dump his ass, but she knew there was more to them that's at play.
I do love the pacing, the writing is good, the banter is wonderful between the characters, not just the MCs, the supporting friends too. It made the scenes very lively and realistic, like I'm in the room with the friends too. Really enjoyed the book.
Thank you NetGalley & Tina Saxon (author) for the ARC.
TROPES/THEMES: Billionaire, Vegas Wedding, He Falls First, Single Dad, One Night Stand, Light Suspense, Small Age Gap, Set In New York & Vegas
I really enjoyed this book. It was a page turner and kept me captivated the whole time. The mystery sub plot that was going on throughout the book definitely helped to keep me intrigued and engrossed in the story.
I loved Brooks and Gray's banter and their meet cute. I felt like they had really great chemistry. I love how Gray handled the challenges that came with Brooks being a single dad and how she helped him through some of the issues that arose.
I also really enjoyed the progression of Addison and Gray's friendship throughout the book. Addison grew on me and I definitely want to learn more about her story.
There was a lot of back and forth with Brooks and Gray but I honestly didn't mind because it was engaging and I couldn't put the book down. Usually, I don't like when the MCs go back and forth but Tina Saxon did a great job with it. The characters also had a lot of good reasons for their hesitation, especially regarding Presley. There were also third party interferences that led to some of this back of forth happening.
My only issue with the book was that I personally don't like any sort of aggressive behaviour from men towards women, fictional or real and there was one scene that did make me uncomfortable. He did instantly regret it but I would have preferred the book without it.
Overall, I really enjoyed the book and I definitely want to check out Addison and Aiden's story when I get the chance.
Thank you to Tina Saxon and Grey's Promotions for this ARC
Coffee-thief meet-cute leads to a marriage mistake – or was it really a mistake?
What I liked: * Gracyn Carmichael: bartender, student, graduating soon, interesting parents, outgoing, adventurous, wannabe elementary teacher, rather taken with Brooks * Brooks Handley: billionaire, single parent, diligent, built business from scratch, humble beginnings, loving father, good friend, rather taken with Bracyn * Presley: Brooks’ daughter, precious, charming, knows what she wants, likes Gracyn * The backstories of the main characters * The supporting characters: Gracyn’s best friend Charli, Addison the sister of Brooks, and others like Max and Sky and Aidan that I wouldn’t mind knowing more about * The side story dealing with the fathers of both main characters * The mysterious culprit involved with the kidnapping * The plot pacing, setting, and writing * Hearing the letters that were written to the judge with reasons not to allow the annulment * That the two communicated maturely, were well matched in and out of the bedroom, and that they were perfect for and with one another * Reading a new-to-me-author that I really enjoyed
What I didn’t like: * Who and what I was meant not to like * The individuals involved in the kidnapping and a few other evil deeds * Having to say goodbye to the characters
Did I like this book? Yes Would I read more by this author? Yes
Thank you to NetGalley and the author for the ARC – This is my honest review.
This book was so much fun from the start. Brooks and Gracyn are a riot and a half. They have the best meet cute, and she literally turned his life upside down in the best way. Gray knew what was next for her in life and in walks Brooks and turns her life upside down in one night and vice versa. Gray is a feisty tell it like it is person which I absolutely love, but she does have a heart of gold underneath all that but she is just so sassy. She also has the best inner monologue. And totally takes Brooks off guard and he just doesn’t know what to think about her. Brooks is devastatingly handsome, a smooth talker, usually is brooding keeps to oneself but when he meets her all bets are off. After that one night literally turns both their lives upside down no matter how much they try to ignore what happens it doesn’t work they are forever linked. They form an unconventional friendship, even though they’re married. They try to make the best out of the situation. Watching them fall in love is so much fun because they’re trying to fight it tooth and nail. And once they have that aha moment “I’m falling in love” is a chefs kiss and let’s talk about his daughter who is an absolute riot and a half it steals the scenes every time she’s in it. It’s not easy their relationship it’s complicated But once they figure it out, it’s just it’s a beautiful thing. I love this book so much and it made me laugh. I’m so glad they got their happily ever after.
Wow! What a fun to read! This book by an author previously unknown to me takes the reader on a turbulent rollercoaster ride full of emotions, humor with LOL moments, suspense, some drama and touching scenes, angst, unexpected twists and hot love scenes. The plot captivated me from the start and I read the book in one day. It's a billionaire romance that starts with a drunken one night stand and develops into a turbulent marital chaos with mixed emotions. The main characters are endearing. The chemistry between them sizzles from the first moment and despite their differences and obstacles they are facing, they fit together wonderfully. It was enjoyable to accompany them to their HEA.
What begins with a stolen coffee and flirtation ends for Gracyn Carmichael after a wild, passionate night in hospital with memory lapses and apparently a wedding to Billionaire Brooks Handley. Getting out of the marriage, however, turns out to be more difficult than expected, especially as sparks fly between them whenever they meet...
If you like whirlwind relationship romance novels with suspense and spice, you are sure to enjoy this book!
Thank you Tina Saxon and Grey’s Promotions for the free ARC of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own and left voluntarily.
A stolen coffee, a second look at a bachelor party, next thing you know a whole lot of unknowns.
Gray met Brooks by chance when she sees him in the coffee shop and swipes his coffee for a second look. Who knew they were going to end up with some interesting memories or lack of them from that weekend he was in Vegas.
When she hunts him down to serve him papers the sparks fly and not just that one night, but everytime they have a meeting. She won’t admit it, he won’t either. Then one thing leads to another and the judge decided that’s they need to work things out to see if they really belong together.
A long the way they are hit with some very serious issues and it really puts them to the test. They come out ahead and they do know that they belong together.
This started off with me saying ummm I’m not really sure I like this book, to where the suspense keeps me reading. I kept rooting for them to finally see that they really are made for each other. This book captures you in many different ways, and each way while different really makes the story whole. There are laughs there are tears and there is some spice and the way he says “my wife” will make any women swoon. I recommend this book for a good love story, a stand up for herself heroine and a single dad that has so much to give once you break down the wall!
5⭐️/ 3🌶️. I was held captive by this book. Literally. I read it in one sitting basically. I put it down for dinner, and that was it… Then I stayed up until almost 4AM to finish it. Could.Not.Stop. …I did the whole “just one more chapter” thing, but then something would happen & I’d need to keep reading to get to a point where my mind would “settle” enough to sleep. Well…..guess where that led me? (To finishing the book)… Do I regret it? Not one bit. This story had it all: Heat & chemistry, the best playful banter, a swoony billionaire MMC (and did I mention he’s also a single dad to an adorable 6 year old girl?)… And then you have a sweetheart FMC who also has a bit of sass & spunk—and no problem standing up for herself—but would also do anything to help others. This is an age gap romance, with an accidental marriage, and a bit of suspenseful twists & turns & drama too! Our hunky MMC falls first & hard, with some definite *touch her and d!e* vibes. And the “my wife” possessive energy? YUMM.MMY! This one literally had basically all of my favorite tropes & vibes that I swoon over… plus the added suspense part of the plot? *Chefs Kiss* …that combination was so well done and as I said, it literally made the book impossible for me to put down. I’ll definitely be reading more of this author’s stuff! Eeeek!
"I don't know if it's my ovaries or my vagina dancing but things down south are acting like they had an energy drink."~Gracyn
Uh.🙉 Wow. That. That wants to be funny cute but it only made me cringe and wonder: how old are you again? Where do I begin with this one. The synopsis read interestingly enough, but mannn, when I started reading, I was completely confused and asking what is this? What am I reading? Did I miss something somewhere along the way? I landed in the middle of these characters' lives and it wasn't a good one. The narrative, the writing style, was all over the place. There's no depth. No character development. Instead it fell flat. I wasn't pulled in with 24yr old Gracyn 'Gray' Carmichael in Vegas, trying to get her flirt on with some random hot guy by stealing his coffee right in front of him, she doesn't like coffee btw, just to make something happen with him. It does work. 32yr old Brooks Handley, former player, takes the bait and asks her to a bachelor party which resulted in her landing in the hospital, after getting hit by a car, but she only remembers the s*x interactions and nothing else.🙄 Ehh. Oh and also, they're married. Smh Did we read how this happened. No. It's slowly eeked out as the story progressed. A backstory playing forward. Would you randomly go to a party to meet up with a stranger. I don't care how good looking he is, would you do that? The Hangover vibes were not vibing.😂😂 This was tedious to read. It was chaos with the random stuff it threw in. The mob. Grey was drugged. There's a kidnapping.😮💨 It wasn't cohesive. Nope! OTT drama.
I didn't like Brooks. He was obnoxious and the conversations he shared with 'drunk Gray' not my words, that's in the story, or sober Gray didn't land. It was hard to get into this sudden complicated relationship. Is that what they are? I still don't know. It was weird. No pre-nup. Come on. He's a billionaire, NDAs, {{what are the chances Gray got a guy like that}} wouldn't he be suspicious considering his past, he's had tons of women always trying to trap him, but with Gracyn... nah, it's cool. Not necessary. She's not like the others. Why? B/c she off the bat had s*x and married him. I didn't get it. At all. It's not romantic. There's no attraction or heat of two people with their pull. This wasn't high heat or even medium. Nothing like that. It was... bland. Sorry. But it was. Gracyn. I don't know about her. I gave it 2 stars for Brooks' daughter Presley. She was cute. The backstory with that child's mother had dateline written all over it.🙊 I did eventually skim it. I was bored. I didn't care if Gracyn and Brooks did or didn't fall in love. Stayed married. Annulled their union. The story didn't make me care or even work for me. For my reading experience it was a tell me, yes, I know it's a book, haha, but I needed a show me kind of story, if that makes sense. Not what I was expecting. The book cover looks great. Happy reading.*•>§<•*💟
😶💸Thank you to Ms Saxon and Grey's Promotions for an early book. The opinions here are my honest thoughts on my reading experience.💸😶
Wow, what fun this book was! Gracyn and Brooks took a chance meeting and turned it into an accidental Vegas wedding, then they run into all sorts of obstacles as they try to untangle the mess they've made of their lives.
Just when you think it can't get any more complicated, a new hurdle presents itself, making both Gray and Brooks stop to reconsider just what they're wanting and what they're willing to do to get it. There was never a dull moment in this story as our couple careens from navigating their diverse backgrounds to finding the truth about their similar family histories. And then there's a hidden-in-plain-sight threat that suddenly rears its ugly head and all bets are off!
I love the tension between these two, how they balance their incendiary chemistry with their growing feelings for each other. Their banter is some of the best I've ever read, especially when they're committed to not falling in love. I wasn't fond of the third-act breakup, but after the traumatic events that preceded, it was understandable. I absolutely adored the HEA and beautiful epilogue.
This is the first book I've read by this author but it certainly won't be the last. Highly recommended for anyone who loves contemporary romances.
This was a cute book. There are a lot of tropes that I didn't think would go together, but it did.
Billionaire and Single Dad? That's a trope I love. Adding a drunken marriage in Las Vegas to the picture just added to it. It was way more funny than I thought it would be.
The banter back and forth is cute and works well for them. It's not one of those "I hate you, but love you" type of banter. It's the kind that immediately shows the attraction and both of them know it.
There are obstacles that both characters face and I question their choices. Again, sitting there like "What are you doing?" 🤣 Thankfully this wasn't a movie and I didn't interrupt anyone around me.
There were some surprises that I did not expect in this story that kind of kept you on edge and I sat here like... well that was kind of unexpected. In a good way, I really liked the suspense.
The spice is minimal but good.
Regardless, it was a good book that should be read. It was a fast-paced story and a quick read.
This is the first book I read by Tina Saxton and I'll be reading more.
Okay, Wedded Chaos completely surprised me in the best way. I went in expecting a fun, maybe a little over-the-top billionaire romance, and I ended up flying through the pages because I needed to know how it all played out. This book had the perfect mix of humor, heat, and heart.
Gracyn is everything I love in a romance heroine. She's witty, bold, and totally unafraid to put the broody billionaire in his place (even if she did accidentally marry him in Vegas). And let’s talk about the chemistry between her and Brooks is electric. Their banter was chef’s kiss, and I have to be honest. I loved the way he kept calling her his "wife" after their mistaken wedding in Vegas.
This was my first book by Tina Saxon, and now I’m looking at her other books to read next! If you’re into surprise marriages, redemption arcs, and billionaires who actually show up for the people they love—Wedded Chaos should absolutely be on your list. You won't be disappointed.
