I found this really interesting as a tie in to the comics. I have a feeling there’s gonna be a lot of people who thought it has to do with Agatha All Along, though
I think there was some deliberate mismarketing of this book, with the cover using a font either similar to or identical to that on the "Agatha All Along" credits and making it seem as if the book was connected to the MCU rather than the comic universe. That said, as a tie in to the comics it was fine - an interesting guided look at some of the 616's magical history guided by notations from Wanda and Steven Strange. Not spectacular, but not bad either. The art, if nothing else, is gorgeous.
Whoops, I don't know what I expected this to be when I preordered it ages ago but it wasn't this. This is supplementary material for comics I haven't read. Felt a bit like studying for someone else's test. Even if I had read all the comics this references, I struggle to see what this would really bring into it. A shame. But partly on me for not looking into what I was buying properly.
