For those willing to “embark on the often dark, yet exciting journey that is human conquest,” McAlister more than succeeds in chronicling the ways in which political, economic, and social elites manipulate and control average citizens. A scathing satire of contemporary society. --Kirkus Reviews

Conquer the A Modern-Day Global Enslavement Handbook by Sir Lawrence McAlister is comparable to Niccolo Machiavelli's The Prince and Sun Tzu's The Art of War...Candid, informative, thought-provoking, and exceptionally 'reader friendly' in organization and presentation, Conquer the Planet is unreservedly recommended for personal, professional, community, and college/university library Political Science collections and supplemental curriculum studies lists. --Midwest Book Reviews

Conquer the Planet by Sir Lawrence McAlister is a serious work written in a unique and entertaining manner to hold the reader's attention to what is, in reality, an encyclopedia of strategies and techniques used by the elitist enemies of liberty to enslave the rest of us by psychological warfare instead of traditional military warfare. It's hard to imagine any serious tactic that is not included. Reading this book as though it is a training manual for conquest puts an unusual twist to information that, otherwise, might seem dull or technical. Conquer the Planet is a must read to understand the reality of modern warfare. --G. Edward Griffin, author, The Creature from Jekyll Island, World Without Cancer
Conquer the Planet is a carefully constructed work that encourages critical engagement with the forces shaping global health and security. Very highly recommended. --Reviewed by Asher Syed for Readers' Favorite

Very comprehensive and detailed presentation of the last 100 plus years of how our country and world have been run to get where we are today. This book is presented from the viewpoint of a power broker in the world system, instructing another on how to get to the same place. It is written much in the same perspective as Lewis' The Screwtape Letters.
I did find it slow going in much of the book, because it is so detailed. The author meticulously footnotes all of his claims and research and does it on each page, so it is easy to find resources a reader may want to follow up on.
I do think this is worthwhile reading for anyone who wants to understand our times more. Although the author does not really give solutions or ideas on how to engage with this information, he does indicate that knowing about it, is the first step to stopping the narrative and making changes. I don't know how he could have presented solutions, but I do think that is also a need. As a result, this book may leave one disillusioned and discouraged about the state of the world today.

Conquer the Planet is one of those books that challenges you to think beyond the surface. The satirical "handbook" format is both creative and engaging, making complex topics about power, influence, propaganda, and human behavior surprisingly accessible.

Rather than simply presenting ideas, the author encourages readers to question systems, narratives, and the ways people can be influenced. Whether you agree with every perspective or not, it's difficult to deny that the book sparks discussion and critical thinking.

I also appreciated how well organized the content is. The writing is clear, the pacing keeps you engaged, and the mix of humor, history, and social commentary makes it an enjoyable read from beginning to end.

If you enjoy books that provoke debate, explore political and social dynamics, and present serious ideas through satire, this is definitely worth adding to your reading list.

Conquer the Planet is a masterful blend of information, narrative, humor and horror as the darkest secrets of human enslavement are brought to light. A book that will stay with you for a long time. What I liked about the book is that it moved from topic to topic while tying it all together into one easy to understand user's guide, although a couple of the topics do get slightly technical. Do you think you understand the world you live in? Whether you do or don't, give this book a try and compare it to your current paradigm. Is there a shift or does it further validate everything you already knew or suspected? Regardless, there is something for everybody is this well written, daunting exposé of ruling power and its hidden tactics that affect all of lives whether we realize it or not.

This is a very unique book and I'm not quite sure how to describe it. The author (Sir Lawrence McAlister), on the other hand, takes on a subject matter that seems impossible to reduce into a working play book for the ultra rich and hits you with surprise after surprise while tickling your funny bone as he does it. If just half of the truths revealed in this guide for the rulers of tomorrow are true, it would benefit humanity to understand the motives and tactics presented to reverse its fate. But, as the author confidently surmises, "Many are just too distracted, complacent, successfully conditioned and wrapped up in their own mundane affairs to do anything about it." Regretfully, this may be true.

This book has far exceeded my expectations. I was skeptical when I first opened the cover as this is a topic commonly addressed, often riddled with boring rhetoric and biased opinions. I was quickly and pleasantly surprised. Just pages in I was immediately captivated by not just the content, but by the approach. The book is incredibly easy to read. It flows seamlessly, keeping the reader not only engaged, but captivated. I quickly found myself immersed in the dialog and unable to put it down. It’s a perfect balance of facts, history, irony, and comedy combining to create an enjoyable yet enlightening experience. I strongly suggest this selection to anyone interested in opening their minds, broadening their horizons, and “waking up” to their surroundings.

Conquer the Planet: A Modern-Day Global Enslavement Handbook by Sir Lawrence McAlister is a tour de force of razor-sharp satire that masquerades as the ultimate insider’s playbook for aspiring global overlords.
Framed as a no-holds-barred manual for the elite—complete with historical precedents, psychological tactics, financial sorcery, and propaganda mastery—this 446-page paperback doesn’t just critique the machinery of modern power. It climbs into the driver’s seat, hands you the controls, and dares you to floor it. The result is equal parts enlightening, horrifying, and hilariously entertaining.

This was really an eye opener, with so many different mentions from history to prove the truth, in such a slick way. If you're buying this it's because you're seeing or starting to see the truth too.
The writer has given us a playbook of serious depth into the schemes, lies and dirty money ways of elite. This would also be a great read for anyone who ever quesitoned the collective narrative and just needed a little more evidence to hop the fence. If you didn't know before, you'll certainly know now.

Sir Lawrence McAlister gives you a glimpse of what it’s like to dive into the selfish, diabolical mind of an oligarchic psychopath where everything is sinisterly preplanned with pitfalls consistently set up to keep the working class forever enslaved and indebted to its masters. We are the working class. It’s time to read this book and wake up!

A serious subject wrapped up in an interesting satire. This book is a call to be aware, check the facts and look at history to see how the future may unfold. Or not, and face consequences for choices made or unmade.

Kudos to Sir Laurence McAlister for drafting such a bold narrative. It blends a harsh dose of reality with a keen sense of humor. This should be required reading for every college graduate.
