The heroine: Eve - her mother and stepfather work in the city and stay at their apartment most nights, she only sees them a few times a month. Her stepbrother Dean was the only one that cared for her but he has been living in Boston so she hasn’t seen him in a year. He comes home for her 18th birthday though.
The Hero(es): Dean - he works for his father’s company and runs the Boston office. He feels he owes his father a lot and doesn’t want to disappoint him so he agrees to marry the woman his father wants. Though when he goes home for Eve’s party he sees her all grown up now that she is 18 and he wants her.
The Story: This book was a 47 page introduction to the Purgatory Club. It is a sort of prequel to a 5 book series written by different authors called “Black Heart Romance Presents Heaven & Hell”. I generally don’t read books under 100 pages because most just aren’t worth it, but I don’t like to miss out on any prequels.
In this book we get a glimpse of what Club Purgatory is. It seems to be a sex club with a twist. The downstairs is a dance club and the upstairs is a sex club and it sounds like they have different scenarios based on someone’s fantasies.

I mean what’s the point of letting her down easy when you can just rip the heart right out of her fucking chest?
Glad to see she took the situation in hand, if he wasn’t gonna fulfill her needs, somebody else would. But fate’s a fickle bitch and sometimes she knows what’s good for you.
I wish this could’ve been a little longer so we could get a more decisive ending. Otherwise it was a fairly enjoyable little smutty read.

This was a very short and quick read. This story falls in the realm of taboo romance as Dean and Eve and step-brother and sister. I found the story line to be likable. Dean was sexy but wanted a little more from him. He was older and I think for me he came off too nice and not grown and sexy for my liking for this taboo quickie. Eve was 18 years older. She always saw Dean as an older step brother until the night he brought a woman home and that changes everything for her.
SEXUAL CHEMISTRY:
I liked Dean’s and Eve’s sexual chemistry. The build up sexually was not there as this is an Insta romance. Either way, without it, their sexual encounter read steamy.

This is a short fluffy piece you read only for the smut – not the story. The story isn’t bad but the smut is INSTA.
Eve (18, virgin) wants her hot stepbrother, Dean (not 18), and she plans to make it clear when he comes home for her birthday party. Dean is shocked when he realizes Eve has grown up. When she shoots her shot, he shoots her down because duh – that’d create all sorts of problems. Luckily for all of us, her BFF Rowan knows of a sex club where you can have sex with a stranger in a dark room and nobody has to look the other person in the eye. YAY!!!! Dean takes the V, goes back for the rear entrance, and claims everything for the finale.

It's short and to the point!
PS. This is available as an audiobook and it's good. It's only 69 pages and the audio is like 2 hours I think. So - whatever you want to do. It's good both ways.

Un relato ardiente que sabe atrapar y que logra transmitir el deseo entre sus protagonistas. Se puede leer como una historia autoconclusiva, aunque también tiene el objetivo de presentar el club Purgatory, un lugar al que la gente va a cumplir sus fantasías sexuales dentro de un ambiente seguro. Ahí lo más importante es el consentimiento de todos los implicados y que cada cual obtenga el tipo de placer que busca. Ese sitio parece que será el escenario del resto de libros de la saga y no negaré que ha despertado mi curiosidad.
Aquí tenemos como protagonistas a Dean y a Eve. Son hermanastros, aunque no tienen ningún vínculo de sangre. Él es hijo del marido de la madre de ella y vive en otra ciudad. Sin embargo, es el único que siempre se preocupa por su bienestar e intenta que Eve no se sienta sola. El día que Eve cumple 18 años, Dean regresa a casa y todo cambia entre ellos...
Son apenas 50 páginas y hubiera deseado que fueran muchas más, ya que me ha encantado la atracción y la pasión que emanan Dean y Eve. No puedo contar mucho porque, siendo una obra con una extensión tan corta, cualquier cosa podría ser considerada spoiler. Únicamente os diré que hay ternura, un pequeño toque de drama, una decisión impulsiva y un encuentro inesperado que hará que todo explote.
En el epílogo se dan ciertos acontecimientos y propuestas apresuradas, por eso no le doy la máxima puntuación. Solo con extenderse un par de páginas más, la autora podría haber creado un desenlace en el que no diera la impresión que las prisas estaban dominando la situación.
El lenguaje usado es muy sencillo, así que con tener conocimientos básicos de inglés se puede entender bien todo lo que se narra. Expresiones vulgares hay pocas y las que hay tienen un sentido dentro de la trama. A pesar de ser un relato en el que predomina el erotismo, no me dio la impresión de que fuera simplón porque la autora supo forjar correctamente el vínculo entre los protagonistas en muy poco tiempo.
Actualmente, este título está disponible de forma gratuita en plataformas digitales, así que, si os llama la atención, no perdéis nada por comprobar si os gusta. A mí me ha sido muy útil para desconectar de lecturas densas y para disfrutar de algo ligero y apasionado.

I loved how the dynamic played out and how although the two were fighting attraction they were brought together by a unassuming meddling hand.

This was a short short which had a HEA and was a warm welcome to the upcoming series named -Black Heart by multiple authors.
Dean and Eve have an amazing tale that I Absolutely loved so much! It was short and filthy. The perfect introduction to this new series.
I would definitely recommend this short and dirty tale to all the dark romance loving people out there.

The cover of this book drew me to it and also I hadn't read a stepbrother romance for a while and something that was a quick read as this is a prequel to the upcoming series by Darcy Rose. The book kind of had a Clueless feel at it first with the two main characters Eve and Dean being super close siblings. We also read how Eve has been waiting and holding onto her V-card with the dreams that it will be her stepbrother who takes it. Fast forward to Eve's 18th birthday and Eve has dolled herself up, hoping her stepbrother will finally take her. The thing though he has another announcement to make as he has entered into a marriage arrangement for the sake of his father's company. Eve's friend hooks her up with this sex club aka Purgatory where you can play your fantasies out. Of course, you can only guess what happens next and then the rest is history. Though are happy endings possible when your father pulls the strings and into some shady dealing? What will happen when the honeymoon impulse period is over? Guess we have to read the rest of the upcoming series to find out.

Heaven is a Steamy, Taboo, Step Siblings Romance story told through dual POVs.
The super short novella focuses on step siblings Eve and Dean who have been close growing up. Dean having always looked out and cared for Eve, since their parents were never really around to do so. Resulting in Eve crushing on Dean.
A year later, when Dean sees Eve again he feels something other than sisterly love. However the night turns into a disaster when shocking revelations are made, leading Eve to make a drastic decision that ends up with surprising results involving a mysterious encounter at the club Purgatory.
It was a shorter and quicker read then I would’ve liked or preferred. It just felt too fast for my liking, with everything happening way too quickly. Which I get is understandably so, since it is a novella. However had it been a little more longer and paced out a little more slower, then I probably would’ve enjoyed it more.
However with that said, it was still a good read. Which is why I say if you enjoy short stories and are looking for a quick read that is filled with sin, fiery hot passion and steam then this is a perfect book for you to check out.

However with that said, it was still a good read. Which is why I say if you enjoy short stories and are looking for a quick read that is filled with sin, fiery hot passion and steam then this is a perfect book for you to check out.

This story gave me just a taste of something that, full length, I might love. It is story of Eve and Dean who are step-siblings. Eve has always had a crush on Dean; Dean saw her as his little sister...until he didn’t. Family obligations of an arranged marriage, a sex club, and a blind encounter, this was insta-love, steamy, dirty talk taboo romance and a perfect quick read. I still want more.

This is a 50-page novella all about step-siblings Eve and Dean. Their parents got married a few years ago, and Eve has always had an unrequited crush on her stepbrother Dean. When it is finally her 18th birthday, she thinks that something might happen between the two of them. From the moment Dean sees her on her birthday, he realizes that Eve is not a little girl anymore.
I thought that this was a super fun and hot novella! I am interested in the rest of the full-length series! I just honestly wish that it was longer, and so that there could have been more development between the characters.

Eh. Short novella to introduce a new shared world of taboo romance and Purgatory Club. I'll stay tuned to check out the stories by other authors, but this one didn't do anything for me.
Forbidden insta-lust with step siblings turns insta-love after chance encounter to fulfill fantasies at the club. I liked the Dual-POV. There wasn't any emotional build up or chemistry or sexual tension. The heat was eh for me. Maybe if there was more dirty talk to overlook the shallow connection? Idk.

This was the fastest and hottest little book I read. I am such a sucker for sex shops and the step brother and step sister trope.
