I defeated the bandit threat that was causing problems in the neighboring town of Midhallow, but the final battle unearthed a new batch of problems.
Namely that magic is somehow returning to Mystica.
Now, a mysterious, enchanted shard has taken up residence in the forest outside Gladewood. And it’s causing things to go haywire.
Animals are acting strangely, townsfolk are waking up with powers that have been long dormant in their people, and even my crops are starting to look weird.
I’m not about to let my farm be wiped out by some magic crystal, so it’s up to me to figure out a solution.

Fun, fascinating and thrilling
In a fantasy world where magic has long since left the world, Noah is adjusting to life on his farm in this new world... Only for a strange mystical shard to show up and magic to start returning after it has been missing for centuries.
If that's not bad enough, the shard has defense's in the form of undead and is magically mutating Noah's crops and animals in the Most woods.
The book definitely keep you on the edge of your seat and I'm looking forward to more!

Duuuuudddddeeee!!!!
I. Can't. WAIT for the next volume. I've been reading Eric Vall for the last year or so, and I tend to read some of everything so long as the author can draw me into their universe. I've become a permanent resident, and this series is just another neighborhood! I love everything from the characters he's created, to the world they live in, to the relationships they've developed. Can't wait to see how the story progresses!

Good Episode
Another good addition to the storyline. For a farmer whose farm was transplanted from Earth to another world he seems to find himself in the role of hero as much as farmer. Eric Vall is an excellent storyteller and this series is just another example of his skill. Looking forward to book 5.

Another great read.
I really enjoyed reading this book. It was fun and engaging. The story and characters were incredibly interesting and entertaining. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next. This book and series are definitely worth checking out.
