Jobless and devoid of hope, the bills pile up for Geraldine. An insolent landlord threatens to evict her after two months of missed rent. While soaking her sorrows at a coffee shop, a stranger approaches and invites Geraldine to a job interview. The mysterious person promises a salary of six figures but refuses to explain anything about the position. However, the stranger labels Geraldine as a “perfect” candidate.
With her finances drained, Geraldine has nothing to lose. She schedules an appointment in a secret location, and the interview process leaves her dumfounded—and without clothes. Can she obey the skimpy dress code, tolerate horny management, and survive an outlandish work environment to become a fulltime employee and earn her six figures?
This light-hearted erotic escapade follows Geraldine as she navigates an arousing interview process in the corporate world. This amusing tale contains the following tropes:
-Story and character-driven novella dotted with steamy sex -Unabashed, highly vivid detail -Casual and random encounters -Hetero and F&F partners -Consensual humiliation -Light BDSM -HEA

This book!!! I absolutely devoured this because it was unique, funny, and spicy too!!! Obviously you know it’s going to be spicy from the title, but dang, the spice!!! It was spicing for sure!!! And the characters!! Geraldine was such a wonderful fmc. She grows throughout the book and I couldn’t help but root for her the entire time!!
I think this is such a cute read as a nice little break from like a series or anything serious that you’re reading. It lifted my spirits and I adored the plot!! I had so much fun reading this one!!! I’ll most likely re-read this one whenever I need a break. The plot though!!! So unlike anything I’ve ever read before!!! Soooooo unique and super fun too!!!
I highly recommend this to spicy romance readers!!! It’s such a short read that you’ll most likely devour this in one sitting!!!
Thank you so much to Pamela Summers for the opportunity to read this book for my honest and unbiased opinion!!!
I'm am posting the review I wrote for Amazon: I'm going to have to restrain this to a four star rating. Pamela Summers does an excellent job of developing her protagonist, Geraldine. Secondary character Stephanie and Agnes, not so much. But she does outline them well enough that they are realistic and believable. The writing? Excellent! Her descriptions are vivid and, given the requisite suspension of disbelief, place the reader in the locations where the action takes place. In her opening scene, Geraldine is having an episode of joyless lovemaking and from there we are transported to her quotidian situation - that of a competent data analyst who is unemployed and facing imminent eviction from her dingy apartment (unless she does "favors" for her degenerate landlord. The novella goes south, IMHO, in how she is rescued from her depressing situation. In her previous work, "Uninvited Guest," the rescue of the heroine from a similar situation came about through a fantastical journey to Wonderland. But in this work, Summers uses a similar off the wall rescue but...it is not fantastical enough to be a wonderful piece of erotic fantasy, but not realistic enough to be believable. She ends up with the modern equivalent to the handsome prince - In this case an employer which offers her - let us say - above market rates for her work, but also offers an erotic work environment in which workers are hit upon by superiors and are free to hit upon each other. And, there are gala events involving expensive and exquisite gowns, dancing, and slipping away for erotic encounters. IOW, the book is basically an adolescent girl's erotic fantasy. Given that, Summers does deliver what she advertises: A powerful erotic fantasy within well detailed settings and well drawn, believable characters. Why four stars instead of five? Well, de gustibus non disputandis est. I liked her last novella a lot better. But, if you're looking for a short, very well written and detailed piece of erotica, this book is for you. I'll be reading her next book as soon as it comes out.
This is the third Pamela Summers book I’ve devoured recently, and ‘Naked Interview’ keeps the streak alive in style.
It trades the intergalactic bedlam of ‘Pink Hole’ for a surreal, hyper-sexualised office setting, yet Summers’s trademark mix of sharp wit, uninhibited erotica, and unexpected emotional depth remains gloriously intact.
Geraldine, the protagonist, might be one of Summers’s most relatable creations. She isn’t a sex goddess or a sci-fi heroine - she’s unemployed, out of options, and just trying to keep the bailiffs at bay. There’s something refreshingly ordinary about her. She agrees to the titular “naked interview” not out of lust or curiosity, but because she’s skint, exhausted, and out of choices. It’s survival, not seduction, that pushes her through the door, and that makes her story all the more compelling.
What follows is equal parts erotic farce and empowerment arc. As Geraldine endures the bizarre, humiliating trials set by her mysterious potential employer, she gradually sheds more than her clothes. Her anxiety and self-doubt give way to a slow, satisfying emergence of confidence, control, and self-worth.
The sex scenes, as ever with Summers, are blistering - straight, sapphic, and playfully kinky, all delivered with her signature irreverence. But what makes ‘Naked Interview’ stand out is that it never loses sight of Geraldine’s humanity. Beneath the absurdity and the heat lies a woman who’s been told she’s not enough, finally deciding to prove otherwise.
If ‘The Uninvited Guest: Alice Re: Wonderland’ was a surreal rabbit hole, and ‘Pink Hole’ a space-punk fever dream, then ‘Naked Interview’ is Summers at her most intimate - still outrageous, still wickedly funny, but grounded in a recognisable, real-world desperation that gives it surprising emotional bite.
A Quick and Dirty Review for a Quick and Dirty Read
Pamela Summers’s "Naked Interview" is a wickedly fun and surprisingly relatable erotic romp.
Forget flawless sex goddesses; our heroine, Geraldine, is broke, unemployed, and facing eviction from her dingy apartment. Her motivation isn't lust—it's pure, desperate survival. This grounding in real-world despair makes her journey all the more compelling.
The premise is as outrageous as it is delightful: to land a dream job, Geraldine must endure a series of bizarre and hilariously humiliating trials, all while shedding her clothes—and her insecurities. Summers’s writing is, as always, crisp and blisteringly hot. The sex scenes (straight, sapphic, and kinky) are delivered with her trademark wit and style.
While the "handsome prince" rescue might feel a bit like a corporate fairy tale (think Cinderella with more HR violations), it’s a fantasy Summers commits to with gusto. The book excels as an empowerment arc wrapped in erotic farce.
This is a short, sharp, and immensely enjoyable read. Summers blends outrageous heat with a surprising amount of heart, making you cheer for Geraldine every step of the way. If you’re in the mood for a well-written escape that doesn’t take itself too seriously, then this should certainly be your next read.
And if Ms. Summers happens to read this review, I’d love to hear from you to see about a possible collaboration because I dig your style. 💜
Pamela Summers’ Naked Interview is a daring romantic comedy that delivers both sex appeal and laughter in equal measure. With sparkling dialogue, unforgettable chemistry, and a storyline that balances flirtation and humour perfectly, this novel is impossible to put down, with the right blend of erotic and sassy, like an even raunchier version of flea bag. Summers’ writing shines with confidence and charm — every scene is infused with playful energy and just the right amount of comic relief to keep readers grinning from ear to ear. Beneath the humour and heat lies a story of self-discovery and dominance. Naked Interview is cheeky, clever, and wonderfully entertaining — a must-read for fans of raunchy comedies that don’t take themselves too seriously but still leave you smiling (and satisfied) long after the final page.
Bold, intimate, and heavily-sexual content I think this book holds a witty and emotionally charged exploration of vulnerability, ambition, and authenticity. From the get-go this book was raw… I didn’t expect that. What begins as a seemingly ordinary interview quickly unravels into a deep psychological dance between truth and façade, blurring the line between professional polish and raw humanity.
This character-driven drama is crafted with striking precision - the dialogue feels alive, sharp and revealing, while the tension between the interviewer and interviewee becomes a mirror for the insecurities and masks we all wear. Beneath the intrigue lies a powerful message about identity, courage, and the price of self-exposure in a world that rewards conformity.
This is both a fun and easy read from a talented erotica author, and is better value than many titles available on Amazon for a higher price tag. While I’m still thinking about the plot, if this type of company were to appear in my life, I’d agree to their terms for the probationary period and beyond. Ms Summers demonstrates a natural talent for the genre, offering crisp writing, with natural dialogue and superb imagery. However improbable, it’s a coherent story with plenty of humour, and while there isn’t graphic sexual activity on every page, when it appears, it’s written with panache. I eagerly await the next title from the author.
I could not put this book down! The spice had me in a choke-hold!!! Pamela knew what she was doing when she wrote this book. Geraldine which was the FMC was great! The plot shows how much growth she had throughout the entire book.
I had actually gotten in a reading slump but this book. Ooo this book brought me out of it 100%. The plot was great! I could honestly not think of a better way to write the book. I’m such a sucker for a Good plot so I could go on and on!
Anywho! Thank you so much to Pamela Summers for allowing me to read this book! I loved it!
Ok so I give this book 3 stars just because I could take it or leave it. I mean obviously it’s just a sexual book and it did have sex in it but I’m not sure I like the concept. Essentially this company is grooming these people to be ok with the employees touching and doing what they want with them for the job and money. With that being said it’s not a bad book I read it in a very short amount of time so obviously I didn’t hate it haha

I received a copy of this book from Goodreads in exchange for a review.
Playful, erotic and sexy, this story is easy and fun to read. It is titillating without crossing into raunchy. Well plotted. I enjoyed the slow build of sexual tension. Makes me wonder if such places of employment really exist?!
It is a bold, steamy novella about a woman who walks into a job interview and ends up in a high-stakes, erotic experience. Fast-paced and daring, it’s a quick read full of surprises, power play, and spice.
I enjoy it too much. I like is a different kind of story, no the usual girl meet boy, have some drama, obstacles and then they end togheter. I’ll to read more stories like this 😁
This was somewhat out of my usual reading genre, but I truly enjoyed it. It's a unique storyline, which is hard to find. It'll definitely keep your attention.
I won the ebook in a goodreads giveaway and I am very thankful. I really enjoyed this book it was very spicy. I also liked the story line. I would read more by this author.
