Did this just come up on Goodreads??? Cookbooks ARE still books, this tiny voice in my head says. So yes, I will only review cook books that have some narrative tied to it! I did like how open Jamie was and informative. A bit too metaphorical at times, but a gem of a cookbook AS WELL as a mini log of how she got her fame.

A student gave this to me, which was very sweet of her. But. Most recipes say things like, "add two cups of duck sauce." Not so much for me.

This simple cookbook comes across as being a scary patchke cookbook, but it is not. The best recipe is the chocolate cake in a bundt pan!!
