Cali Blacks book All that Glitters is a book about Cat and Billy who are Country music artists. Cat is already a famous star and Billy is an upcoming star, they find themselves working together while fighting an attraction to one another too. If you enjoy country music and the life that goes along with being a star this book will be super intriguing for you. You may be surprised that life in the limelight isn’t always all it’s chalked up to be! And sometimes you find love and your true life’s calling during the biggest hardships of life! I really loved this book but be advised though it is a great romance there are parts that can be triggering if you have ever dealt with an assault. Cali Black is a wonderful author and she really highlights the ups and downs of life of a country music star. She also shows a side of assault victims and the people closest to them that a lot of people miss! Well done!

With realistic and relatable characters who face situations many people would turn a blind eye toward, Cali Black brings the circumstances in All That Glitters to life on the page. While she doesn't shy away from tough topics, she presents a story about love, understanding, forgiveness, and hope. All the things I love about her books.
The heroine, Cat Clarke, experiences one of the worst situations imaginable for a woman but comes through with strength and grace. Sweet Billy Blaze, Cat's attractive up-and-coming love interest is everything I want in a hero when he owns up to his mistakes and pushes to make better choices in the future. Cali's amazing characters and poignant plots will always keep me coming back for her books.

Wow
I love the characters. As always, Cali brings you along with the characters as they experience life. This was a rough one in that regard. I might not have finished this one if I hadn't read any of her books before.
Despite having really uncomfortable and increasingly complicated drama that made me want to smack all parties, I really came to love Billy and Cat.
There is incredible growth and healing.
This book definitely dives into the darker side of the entertainment industry. It also addresses complexities around cheating, as that is a thing that happens and is addressed in the story in a big way.
It's a great story. It's a rough journey.
Now I am off to read another Cali Black book.

Cali Black absolutely hit it out of the park with All That Glitters! This book is about two Country Singers, but you don't have to love Country Music to love this book. Cat and Billy are two very likeable people and I even loved the secondary characters in this book about as much as I loved the main characters!
Cali Black does talk about sexual assault in the workplace. Something that everyone needs to know is not okay. She handles it very tactfully and I think you'll even love the outcome.
All in all, I think you will love this book I know I did!
