Have you ever said you’d die for someone you loved? Well, I actually did.
In my new life, no one knows my darkest secret. No one knows what I became after death. I doubt the charming male nurse would give me a second look if he knew the truth. I doubt my dominating boss, who I made the mistake of sleeping with, would be quite so possessive of me. And I know the sexy doctor wouldn’t spend all his time flirting with me, if he knew, that’s for sure.
And yet, when I discover my sexy men aren’t as human as they look, and they begin to suspect I’m more than just a healer in the hospital, things get even more complicated.
Wolf shifters, vampires, and gods are circling us. A powerful pack wants our heads. Gods want to see us fall. And the vampires? I’m still figuring them out. But one thing is for sure, I’ve broken every rule there is when it comes to being a reaper, and there will be consequences.
But I’m already dead. So they can’t do anything worse to me. Right?
Wrong.
Heads are going to roll, our only hope is that they aren’t ours.

Their Reaper is the collection of books from the series jam packed into one exciting novel. We follow Jules on her adventures after death as she meets shifters, vampires and gods and some very hunky men.
The series was entertaining and had a lot of high points, as well as some lows. Jules is a fun FMC who can hold her own against anyone she faces. As she builds her harem, you can see connections form not just between her and her men, but between the men themselves.
There are some steamy scenes, but they are fairly basic and nothing that really blows you out of the water. In the end, I still felt like there were some unresolved situations, and that the author ended the series without tying up all of the loose ends.
Overall rating for the series: 4 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 2 🌶 🌶
Per usual, this author has crafted a fab story that really grabbed hold of me and wouldn't let go :) I love that the set is out now for continuous reading pleasure - and no need to remember which book comes next ;P You can expect drama, danger, chemistry, secrets and a steamy romance to abound - and let's not forget the shifters, vampires and gods to keep things hopping ;P So much to enjoy as Jules navigates her life, and her men, in this fast paced and well written story. Well done!
This is a really interesting series, Jules is easy to like, she is a reaper with a heart and is so torn between her old life and new. The guys are interesting and it was fun to see them have to work to get Jules interested. The series takes you on the journey of Jules navigating her new life, which conflicts with her old one.
Unlikely Reaper (0.5) This is a great novella to introduce you to the characters. Jules is working in the hospital as a reaper, but she’s found a loop hole where she can save instead of reap, but her boss isn't happy. As she tries to reconcile with her new life, she ends up moving next door to some pretty hot co-workers. Jules is really likeable, she's struggling with her new life and is trying her best to just carry on whilst keeping her reaper status a secret. The guys are unaware of what she is, but then they have a few secrets too.
Code: Possessive Boss (#1) Jules is working in a hospital as a healer to disguise her reaper job, but she's really struggling to reconcile her old life to her new one. Until she finds a loop hole so she can help patients instead of killing them. But the reaper bosses aren't happy and send someone to keep an eye on her, and she's not happy about it. Her next door neighbours also work at the hospital and are attracted to her but she refuses to get close to anyone, much to their frustration. I enjoyed seeing them knocked down a peg or two. Definitely a story to pull you in, a reaper with a heart. I enjoyed the interactions between the characters, there is definitely more to come with all the things going on, especially with the shifters.
Code: Hot Nurse (#2) Things are not getting any easier for Jules or any of the guys. Jules finds out what the guys are, but manages to keep her own secrets for now, although I have a feeling it won't be for much longer. They all become closer and let her know how much she means to them. Jules is still finding out more about what she is and what she can do with her powers, and she also finds an unlikely ally. This story is really intriguing, there are lots of things going on and quite a bit of supernatural politics at play between all the different species.
Code: Stubborn Doctor (#3) This is the final book and Jules has settled into a relationship with Ajax, Brad and Connor. Brad is so determined to find out what she is now they know she isn't human, but telling them could cause her to lose them. Connor has problems now the pack Alpha is ill, and Ajax's family come to cause some problems. I've enjoyed the series and how the story has panned out, but I am so disappointed in the guys, and Jules really doesn't make them grovel enough. Frederick turns out to be an interesting kind-of ally, I loved some of his one-liners!
There's a HEA for Jules and the guys which is fitting for the series.
Unlikely Reaper A long time ago I read a short story about how differently the powers of Death manifested in an entitled young man and a woman who had lost everyone she cared about to him. This book, and particularly Jules’ reaction to her powers as a reaper, brought that story to the front of my memory. How she uses her abilities so differently from other reapers. How the responsibility does not lay lightly on her shoulders. All of these things make Jules unique and fascinating, and I can’t wait to read more about her. [Death and the Ugly Woman by Bruce D. Arthurs from Marion Zimmer Bradley's Sword and Sorceress IV] Reaper Hospital: Code Possessive Boss Wow. This story has taken me to a paranormal world where everything I thought I knew is subtly tipped askew. It’s familiar, but not exactly what I was expecting at all. Jules is nothing like any reaper I’ve read before. Not in her abilities or her compassion. And her defenders? They’re rather unique in my experience as well. I have no idea what’s going to happen next, but I’m DYING to find out. Reaper Hospital: Code Hot Nurse With every answer we learn seems to come only more questions. There is so much going on in this book that I so badly want to talk about but don't dare because I know all of it would ruin the surprise for the readers to come after me. I love that, along with Jules, we're learning more about the supernatural world she now exists in. However, I still have more questions than answers. I have no idea what the author is setting up for Jules and her men, but that ending has left me desperate to find out what it is. Reaper Hospital: Code Stubborn Doctor This is not at all how I thought it was going to go. And that ending? Absolutely perfect, but nowhere near anything I expected. I don’t even know how to explain this book without giving it all away. There is so much going on, and each event and revelation builds on the one that came before it. Jules is dodging so many things that are outside of her control, but she handles them with grace and skill. I kind of want her to be my spirit animal, she does it all so well. And even though her “boys” manage to make a hash of it before the end, I still love each and every one of them. They’re a big part of the reason why Jules finds such strength within herself. I don’t know if there’s more drama to be found in Reaper Hospital, but like in the best soap operas, I’m willing to come back and do it all over again. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author.
Interesting Story 💀 This is the first in a new series focused on Jules, a reaper who is supposed to take lives yet struggles with the task. She also manages to use the lives she takes to save others! Unfortunately this has been bought to the attention of the Reaper Council and she’s now being watched. 😣 Through her work at the hospital she’s collected some admirers, all of whom re aware of each other’s supernatural abilities: Ajax the god, Connor the wolf, and Brad the vampire. 😍 However they don’t what Jules is and Jules doesn’t know what they are…..which creates some unique circumstances! Especially when Jules is threatened by another reaper and forced to take drastic action…. A great cliffhanger!
* Code Hot Nurse (Their Reaper # 2) Interesting developments 💀 This one picks up right after the last book and throws you right into the thick of things! With secrets piling up between Jules and the men at the hospital it’s becoming more and more difficult to maintain there appearance of being human… Things start to unravel even more when the Gods descend and an Anjou stalks the hospital! The men let down their defences but Jules dare not let them know for fear of their lives as well as their perception of what she is 🙈 Interesting to see how this will unravel in this next book…
* Code Stubborn Doctor Finale! You just can’t help but feel for Jules she’s is absolutely stuck between a rock and a hard place with what she is and the position it puts her in! It’s her morals and character going up against the Reaper Council who quite frankly are manipulative with their own aims 😡 throw in a connections between the wolves and the gods and there’s various issues being thrown at Jules and her men 😩 But honestly nothing is worse than the reaction of Brad, Connor and Ajax when Jules can no longer keep what she is under wraps 💔soooo disappointed in them! For all his flaws Frederick really comes through for her and along with Connor brings some home truths to the guys and shines a light on Jules true nature!! It’s not easy but a well fought HEA 👍🏻
Code Possessive Boss - Wow! This was an unexpected story that is just brilliant. The story is so unique. The main character is Jules and she has the biggest heart. Too bad she’s a reaper now and has to help people die. But she doesn’t do anything the easy way and has a way of making the higher ups not happy. There are more than just reapers in the story as it is filled with surprises. The ending is a cliffhanger and you will be dying for the next story.
Code Hot Nurse - The second book in the series and boy is it getting intense. Jules is the star of the series. She is a reaper but also is able to heal. But the reaper council doesn’t like when she doesn’t follow the rules. They will send others to correct her mistakes and death will follow. Then there is the hot boss who happens to be a god, a shifter doctor and a vampire doctor that all have an intense interest in Jules. The story brings even more danger to the group as death seems to be everywhere. The romance is building as Jules and the men start heating things up.
Code Stubborn Doctor - Third and final book of the series. From the start the action and danger just hit you as Jules tries to save those she can while other unknowns are killing them. Being a reaper is a secret she has to keep to protect those she loves and that includes the men in her life. She faces so many dangers and always continues on doing the best she can. She gave her life to save her son but she may just lose the life she was pushed into to save the men she loves. The story is the perfect ending and does answer so many questions. Things of course are always hot as hell when it comes to her men. But what do you expect with a vampire, werewolf and a god?
Strap in for an action packed read from start to finish, and the best thing is, you don't have to wait to binge read the entire series!
Reaper Hospital: Code Possessive Boss Jules may be a reaper, but she is not the typical "take your soul" reaper in the sense that she uses her abilities to save lives, not take them. Working at a hospital as a healer, she really is more like a guardian angel. There also happens to be three men she finds herself trying to avoid but in the end unable to keep away. With a unique take on the supernatural, this first book was a great start to the Their Reaper series!
Reaper Hospital: Code Hot Nurse We are back with Jules and her men Ajax, Brad, and Connor in book 2 of the Their Reaper series! Now that we have a better idea of who each of them are, this book really focused on the moments between the characters. I also really love how the story progressed throughout with the epic supernatural elements and interesting mysterious twists and turns. So many more mysteries to discover though, so I was excited to see what is next for these characters and delve into book 3!
Reaper Hospital: Code Stubborn Doctor This was definitely the most intense read of the series! Lots of action, suspense, revealed mysteries, and more wonderful moments between Jules and her guys. It was definitely hairy for the gang several times, but together they kept moving forward. I was hooked from page one, so much like the series, get ready to binge book 3! I can't wait to see if we get any more from this world or characters.
Unlikely Reaper - BOOK 0.5 This prequel kicks off this series by giving us a taster of whats to come
Reaper Hospital: Code Possessive Boss - Book 1 Reaper Jules (FMC) is not only a reaper of souls but a kind of healer or she is to the hospital that she works for. Being both though brings on a new set of complications. 3 hot men - Ajax, Brad and Connor (who all have their own problems) and another Reaper. Its an interesting read with likable characters and a great story too.
Reaper Hospital: Code Hot Nurse - Book 2 Jules' life as a nurse in this series becomes more complicated with more deaths and also a new problem. One that is much more trickier to work out. The guys - Ajax, Brad and Connor all brought different dimensions to this book as well as this series. There were more plot twists in this book. One of which being Fredrick who I'm still trying to work out? He's a conundrum that's for sure.
Reaper Hospital: Code Stubborn Doctor - Book 3 Reaper Hospital: Code Stubborn Doctor is book 3 in Their Reaper series and the finale of all three books or is it? I just felt like maybe there might be more or it could just be left wanting more?
Everything was thrown into this book. Vengeful Gods, a warring/divided pack and secrets that threatened Jules and the guys. As well a few teary parts too. It all came together to make for a brilliant conclusion
So, the entire premise of this book was built around what would you do to save your sick kid? Well, Jules literally dies to save her sick son, thus becoming a “reaper” in this series. She needed someone or something to give her new life purpose, because reaping so many people in the hospital she worked in as a “healer” was getting her down. Jules was unlike all the other reapers, and got in hot water with the reaper council, and her boss for doing what no other reaper could or would do, which was save some people. They couldn’t figure out how she was saving some people. Well, that’s not keeping the balance, so another reaper gets called in to undo her healings. Add on top of this drama, she is catching feelings for 3 men, all supernaturals from the hospital, a doctor, a nurse and one of the heads of the hospital. (Oh my!) It takes awhile for her to learn they aren’t human. But Jules cannot break the rule of telling anyone who she is now, no one can know about reapers, otherwise they die. So Jules has a lot of secrets to juggle between her guys and her work. Is there a happy ever after in her future, or just a final death sentenced down from the council??
It’s not a bad book, it does drag in a few places. Like I had to skip ahead a lot of pages and missed nothing that made an impact on the story. Overall a good story, and I’d recommend reading, just know that a couple of places it is slow and maybe not all the loose ends tied up as neatly as the author thought.
Jules has a very hard time balancing what she wants to do saving lives with what she has to do as a reaper. She doesn’t want to end people’s lives she wants to save them but now she has to take far more lives than ever. How is she going to balance this? I really enjoyed this push and pull between the two conflicted desires. Jules was a great character and I can’t wait to see what’ll happen next with her.
Code hot nurse
I am enjoying this series and world so much. We get to pick up right where the first one left off and things don’t slow down. We get to learn so much more and yet there are even more questions than before. The characters were so engaging and keep drawing me in. I’m definitely excited to see where this series is going to go and how things will continue to progress.
Code stubborn doctor
Jules is a pretty amazing character. I really enjoyed how she tried to use her reaper abilities to heal and help as much as she could. There was some serious action in the story and things weren’t clear cut. The relationships develop really well. I was on the edge of of my seat a lot of the time with this story. Definitely an amazing series. And I loved getting to see the characters grow. The ending made me very happy and I adored it so much! I didn’t want to see the series end.
Would you give your life so your child could live? Most mothers would say yes, without hesitation. That’s what Jules did to save Sam. Took his bear and walked out in front of a bus. Simple, right?
Wrong! Now you’re stuck reaping the souls of humans, but silver lining, you can also heal some! Unfortunately, due to the rules of the reapers, you can’t actually tell anyone about your abilities or they will be killed by the council. It’s a lonely life.
Then one night, you “accidentally” expel excess energy with the God that lives next door. Mind blowing sex is definitely on the menu there! Just so happens his room mates are a vampire and rogue wolf. A deadly and delicious trifecta!
When another reaper and an Ankou show up at Jules hospital to reverse the effects of her healings, all hell breaks loose. Or should say heaven breaks loose as the Gods of old start to interfere with life as they know it.
This RH is filled with wit, action, heat and of course the fate of the world. Can Jules keep her secret and keep her men? Will they a accept her if they knew the truth?
A good read and I would recommend it. I had a hard time getting through the first book, but about halfway it picked up for me. Was an easy read from there.
Code Possessive Boss I thoroughly enjoyed this story. I am not sure I have read anything like it, and it drew me in completely. Jules has an awful job, a result of a sacrifice she'd made years prior, and you can feel every struggle and emotion she battles while doing it.
Code Hot Nurse This story seemed to have more problems than solutions for poor Jules. Her relationship with the three men in her life evolves, but there are so many other forces at play here, and with Jules determined to do what she believes is right, I just don't know it'll all play out. This series is an intriguing one, as is the character of Jules. She struggles with the task she's been appointed, and pushes back in her own way, and I don't blame her!
Code Stubborn Doctor This story is an emotional one! Poor Jules. She's so tough, and really just tries to do the right thing. The men her life are getting more curious about what Jules really is, after witnessing certain things that don't make sense to them, but divulging that information could mean they'd be killed, so... Jules is kind of stuck. I have liked this series! It's something different, and though this one is more emotional than the first two, the story is easy and enjoyable to read.
While I've read other books with Reapers as the main character, the origin & purpose of the Reapers in this book is something very original. Jules gave up everything, even her own life, to save the life of her son. Unfortunately for her, she didn't stay dead and now she is forced to live the life of a Reaper, killing humans and taking their life force. The only thing that makes her new life bearable is discovering that she can use her power to save some people. That is until Ajax, Connor and Brad push their way into her life and make her realize that she may just have a chance for a new life with these men, at least if the forces working against them don't kill them first. I enjoyed this book. Not going to lie, I spent the first few chapters fighting off, and sometimes losing the battle, tears. If you are an easy crier, be prepared because the way the author tells Jules' story, really breaks your heart. As the story progresses, Jules really does seem to find herself and a purpose, beyond her sorrow. The chemistry between Jules and her guys is pretty hot and once they finally get together, it scorches the pages. Action, intrigue and mysteries are plentiful. The characters to get their HEA, if not necessarily in a way you expect. Recommend.
It’s called Their Reaper, but the only thing dying was my patience. I kept turning pages hoping for heat, chemistry, or at least one character who wasn’t built entirely out of cardboard and vibes — but no. What I got was a hot body, colder personality, and plotlines stitched together like leftover fanfic drafts.
Why are all these men into her? Let’s be honest: good ass and better tits. That’s it. If she hadn’t been reborn with a surgically enhanced everything, this wouldn’t be a love story — it’d be a tragic novella called “Girl Dies, Nobody Cares.”
The guys? Interchangeable, mostly bland, and somehow less interesting than the filler fight scenes written like the author was legally obligated to throw in “action” every five chapters. You’d think a reaper and her harem would make your Kindle overheat — instead, I used this book as vague background noise while folding laundry.
I don’t need emotional depth every time, but this wasn’t even horny enough to pass as guilty pleasure. It’s the literary version of a cold microwave meal: looks good on the cover, tastes like regret.
Rating: 1.5 stars. Not the worst I’ve read, but certainly the most boring “hot” book I’ve ever finished out of sheer stubbornness.
Soooo.... I just casually picked this box set up for some light reading... And I've barely slept tonight, because it's COMPLETELY unputdownable! I ended up bingeing it in less than 24 hours. So. Freakin'. Good! Jules is awesome, and the guys are, of course, drool worthy. I love their obsession with her, and how they're not afraid to do whatever it takes for her and bury the bodies for her, both literally and figuratively. "Maybe we should... I don't know... follow her?" "'Is that being there for her?' I ask with a frown. 'Or stalking her?' 'Something in-between.'" This book is action filled, funny and has some deliciously steamy parts and you seriously need to get comfy and get reading. Reapers, shifters, vampire, ghosts and god - so many paranormals and their quirks and politics. "Yup, we certainly have a type, and it seems to be crazy chicks." If you love the possessive, morally grey men who will do anything for their woman, no matter what, this book is for you! "For Jules, maybe I could be a good guy. But not today, because today I'm going to kill a bunch of people. But maybe tomorrow."
Their Reaper: The Complete Series by Lacey Carter Andersen is the perfect box set to dive into if you’re a fan of magic, shifters, gods, reapers and all things paranormal as this story is jam packed with tons of action, steamy goodness and mysterious intrigue to keep you going, page after page after page!

From one jaw dropping secret revelation to another, this box set is perfect because you don’t need to die at those crazy intense cliffhangers and instead just keep on reading!
So if you’re a fan of paranormal intense stories that are full of action, hot and steamy connections and non stop craziness combined with several twists and turns then this is the series for you!
Spoilers below. * * * * * * By far the most frustrating book I have read this year. I am not even sure how I finished it. I really enjoyed the prequel and thought the series would be great. By the end of book one the story had not made much progress. By the end of book two very slow progress and mostly the “relationship” is between Jules and Ajax while the other two literally watch until the end of the book. Why do these MMC even like her? Very little relationship growth from her end because it is all lies or she runs away from them and avoids them. All built on lies until 95% of the story. I did not care for Jules at all. She tried to do good by saving people. But she used Ajax for physical needs. No conversions with the MMCs. She had two children in her previous life but she only cry babies about 1 of them. A mother would be missing both kids but you only hear mostly about Sam. I can’t even remember the other one’s name. Sam. Sam. Sam. Long drawn out secrets that take a whole series is not great storytelling. How everyone deals with these things and building a relationship is and I did not find that in this series.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Loved this! 👻 This box set is packed with the full journey of Jules and her crazy adventure.
What happens when a reluctant reaper learns she has the odd ability of being able to save lives as well as take them? Well...you have one fascinating read that's for sure 😉. What to do but work at a hospital eh? Day in and day out she's surrounded by choices.... and a few unique characters who may or may not be making headway into her lonely heart. Missing her family who have no clue she's reborn into this life, nobody knows who/what she is. However maybe she's not the only one with a secret?
Get ready for all kinds of action, craziness, a few twists and turns, and one reveal that a certain someone didn't want to get out 🤷🏻♀️. Not to mention a few pesky gods determined to make life miserable. Our gal is certainly having a rough week by the end of the series. Can she finally find happiness? Guess you'll just have to take a peek and find out 😉.. .
Their Reaper Boxset is the entire Reaper series by Lacey Carter Anderson. You get to experience Mercy’s journey from beginning to end all contained in one set. Jules is a reaper, and she’s breaking the rules. Her job is reap the souls of those she is designated to take. But she’s been bending the rules and doing things her way. Consequences are about to rain down on her though. But first? How about some hot drama? She’s always been attracted to the hot guys who work at the hospital with her and just so happen to live next door. So prepare for things to get more than a little wild and a lot steamy. Page-turner, with lots of snarky and attitudinal characters. For me, the snark and sass gets a touch overdone, but that’s my personal taste. I don’t mind attitude and snark, but do it with some sensibility. A little tends to go a long way. For readers who enjoy paranormal romance series, this is one that you’re going to want to check out. I’m choosing to rate this set 4 out of 5 stars.
I loved this book! LCA does such a good job writing her stories. I read these books all separately, but reading them in this set honestly made the story better.
The amount of heartbreak in this book with Jules' past is intense. As a mama, I get it. I would do the same. I can't even imagine the full range of her feelings. I love our guys in this. Can I just say that Brad sometimes really, really upsets me? I don't know why, but he just gets under my skin and I want to slap him.
We have got secrets on secrets with Jules. She can't say what she is. She can't explain why she is crying out in her nightmares. The guys asking questions leads to her having no choice but to lie.
There are several smexy times in the series and they are all pretty great. We have heat, we have drama, we have our villians and action. Honestly what's not to love about this one?
This series started off awesome. I have started noticing a trend of second chance love & I'm seriously digging it. Jules self sacrifice has signed her up for a situation she didn't bargain for - turning her into what she feels like is a monster. While she struggles to accept what she is she is also having difficulty letting go of the past and feeling guilt about her attraction to some of her coworkers. This book was very interesting. She spent a lot of time running (literally) from the guys and it was almost comical. My feelings changed over the course of the book. In the beginning the people I liked the most were the people I wasn't a fan of in the end and the person I couldn't stand in the beginning ended up showing the most growth and being my favorite in the end. I wasn't crazy about the ending, but they got their happily ever after.
Jules plays a lot of things very close to the vest. She feels very trapped and lonely. I think all of us can relate to that in certain ways. She was a victim taken advantage of in one of the lowest times in her life. She could've tapped out and become an emotionless cog in the system, but instead chooses to do good by saving those that she can. The story takes quite a few turns that I wasn't expecting and it makes it a pretty unpredictable read. The ending is the least predictable part in my opinion. I felt pretty strongly about the way her men treated her at the end of the last book. Again, not what I was expecting, but that almost makes it more refreshing. It deviates so much from your standard cookie-cutter expectations in a romance novel!
A suspenseful and exciting reverse harem romance read
Their Reaper follows Jules, a recently turned reaper, who is starting to settle in to her job at the hospital while trying her hardest to avoid Ajax, Brad, and Connor, three men who work there as well. Code Possessive Boss is a suspenseful start that lays more groundwork for their budding relationship and delves further into building the creatures that inhabit this world. Code Hot Nurse is a thrilling addition where the situations get dicey while the heat starts to ramp up. Code stubborn Doctor finishes this exciting reverse harem romance read by keeping the reader jumping through hoops trying to figure out just what could go wrong next.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
This series is one of my unlikely favorites that I went into expecting to think it was okay, and ended up loving it. Shifters, vampires, and gods don’t have much to fear. But when something starts popping up at the hospital, and interfering, with the people Jules saves, on top of never seeing anything like it before, Jules is a little spooked to say the least. Between all 3 books she’s got a plethora of problems, and that her men aren’t supposed to find out what she is, much less be her men, is only one of them. With Plenty of twists, turns, and drama, this series will take you on a ride. I was a little disappointed it wasn’t a longer series, as I saw the definite material for there to be at least 1-2 more books. But I still loved the series nonetheless.
This is the correction of the individual reads that are included in Andersen's Reaper series which includes: Unlikely Reaper, Reaper Hospital: Code Possessive Boss, Reaper Hospital: Code Hot Nurse, and Reaper Hospital: Code Stubborn Doctor. I have read and reviewed each of these individually with the exception of Unlikely Reaper. Each is a continuation of the previous read so the collection is great as a continuous story. A well written paranormal, reverse harem romance read that will captivate and delight with our main female character Jules and the men who love and protect her. A great and unique storyline that I'm sure you'll love as much as I did!
I received free copies of the individual reads at my request, and I voluntarily provided this review.
It was honestly a great book. From the first chapter of book one I was hooked and caught by the emotions that Jules must have been feeling. Being misplaced and trying to find out how to navigate her new cookie cutter life and balancing her consciousness beating her up along the way. The story is truly one of a kind and you really don’t get the ending to the books until the last couple pages which is refreshing. There were some time jumps where alternative things happened, which really confused me. It happened a couple of times and while irritating, it was easily ignored. I think that it could absolutely benefit from another go through for flow. But again, that story was great! I can’t wait to read more from this author.❤️
This was my first series I found by this amazing author. The moment I read the first chapter of the first book I was hooked. Humans, supernaturals, gods… this story has them all.
What would one to to save the one they love the most? As a mother I agree, it would be anything, even if that answer comes with a cost. Life, death, one’s own morals… even love is constantly called into question as each chapter is devoured.
As I always say, I love these complete collections because they spare you from the heartache of cliffhangers and the anxiety of waiting until the next story comes out. And this story is no exception.
I wasn't sure what to expect when I started this set, but was happy to have the complete series at my fingertips. This was different from anything I have read in a very long time and I thouroughly enjoyed it. It's a slow burn, the relationship development was paced great and I loved the FMC and the guys! I will definitely be looking for more from this author as this was the first of hers I have read.
Having said that, read the trigger warnings...if you are at all sensitive to hospitals and all the good and bad that comes with them, be prepared. Story overcame it for me, but consider this if you are sensitive to it.
