Another installment in this absolutely ridiculous series 😂 I love these two dumbasses. Most of the time, they hardly have one brain cell between each other.

This volume, though, is the definition of miscommunication. These two don’t say to each other how they’re really feeling or what they’re thinking. At any point. Instead, they spend the entire time hoping the other one will speak up and say what they want to hear 🤦🏻‍♀️ Idiots, I tell you! Idiots! The most communication we get here is when Baek tells Seo not to leave the company, and Seo immediately agrees. Beyond that? Just two idiots hoping the other one knows how to read minds.

I feel bad for my poor Seo though 😩 They’re trying so hard to blackmail him, and they just need to leave him alone. He just wants to have a lowkey life and take care of his mom. He doesn’t need this nonsense! Let him enjoy his time with Baek! They’re literally not hurting anyone. Stop being in their business 🙄

Anyway. Naturally, I look forward to the next volume.

Overall view of the whole plotline across all 5 books: I absolutely devoured this manhwa. The romantic tropes and the smut is good, yes. But beyond that the exploration of both characters' relationship with their toxic parents and how it has impacted them as adults, and how that reflects in the way they approach relationships with (I would argue) anxious avoidance. And I felt something deeply satisfying seeing the rapist get totally beat up in that one scene. I get that the point of the manhwa is more about Youngchan's and Hyunsoo's relationship but I will admit I wish to have seen more exploration into this after the author alluded to it so much in earlier chapters and built that suspense more. Likewise with the Jeong Chaewon guy.

Is sweet how their relationship is progressing, sharing dinner and sleeping together [without sex], yet Hyunsoo keeps a tight lip when it comes to issues he’s facing. Why can’t he be more open!?

Seeing a more serious and protective side of Youngchan was refreshing. It shows that while he can be all easy-going and puppy kinda crazy, he’s also very smart, focused, and loves Hyunsoo above all [tho he doesn't know it yet]. He wants to help and protect Hyunsoo.

I was really loving how it was going. Seo and Baek getting more comfortable and closer with each other. The mystery surrounding the brother and the workings of the company...However, the way it just 'cut-off' on the last page, it made it feel like it wasn't even meant to be a cliffhanger. No tension or a good set up for the next volume. Nonetheless this is still my favourite story out there. Just curious to see how it'll be pick up from here (*^-^*)

Loved this volume, loved the realisations of Seo, love how protective Baek is but….

Also, i wished Seo would open up a little more about how he’s feeling. He knows that he likes Baek (even tho he doesnt really want to) but he’s not really upfront about it.

The feelings! I feel bad for Seo Hyunsoo, he's dealing with so much between his mom and the stalking! Thankfully Baek Youngchan is always around to cheer him up. I just wish they'd communicate 😣 I do like seeing the more domestic sides of them!
