Seducer is the second book in the Legacy of Kings Series but can be read as a standalone. The stories are interconnected with characters from the previous book making appearance and contributing to the story. They're no cheating or cliffhanger and complete with a happily-ever-after. It includes spankings and rough, intense sexual scenes. If such material offends you, please don't buy this book. A beautifully crafted story with damage and broken individuals and a complex and twisty storyline that captures the audience attention from the start chapter and keeps you riveted and turning the pages with it's twists and turns, pulse-pounding suspense, and mystery. A definite page turner with enticing erotic scenes that will have you sweating like a sinner on Sunday. An unputdownable and absorbing addictive read. Hang on to your kindle and prepare yourself for this tantalizing rollercoaster ride of tension, emotions and cravings and follow along as these two flawed individuals fall in love. This Sara and Zachariah story which is told from a dual point of view.
Zachariah Blackwell was one third owner of the Blackwell Group, only the wealthiest and most prestigious gaming firm in the entire world. He's the second brother in the Blackwell story. Zach has a rough upbringing in and out of foster care until the age of fifteen when the Blackwell's adopted and change his life. Although is life has changed he was still suffers from his past demons of abuse inspite of his wealth and stature. Zach was all hard work and no play at Blackwell Group. He hadn't been with a woman in the last two years because no one had caught his eyes or drawn to his dark side. He's tired of the way how they were picking the candidates for the Obsidian Society, the employees are the ones who are applying and they to participate in the hunt and they didn't really seems to care. Zach decided that he was going to participate in the hunt this year and he was also going hunt the hunt to get fresh meat to join, ordinary people from outside. He found the perfect prey at Club Sanity in a dancer called the the Wild One who was wearing a devil mask and dressed in a costume.
She calls to his darkness and the sadistic side of him. He was immediately drawn to to the mystery woman as soon as the lights dim and she started dancing. She had attracted every man attention in the room which brought out the jealousy in him. The mystery woman was the perfect prey. And in his mind she was the already the perfect candidate. Little did she knew soon her entire life would be on display, putting in his hands. He couldn't wait to mold her into everything she'd longed to be. He knew that they would cross path again perhaps tonight, perhaps in a week or a month. And as soon as they did he would invite her into his world. Once inside she would never be free chained by the satisfaction only he could provide. His Wild One had no idea she'd already been chosen. The thought should be revolting, but instead he was electrified, hunger refusing to be denied until completely satisfied. Sara Capshaw a.k.a. the Wild One was working at at Club Sanity, a highly respected dance and kink club located in the heart of Chicago.
Only when she was on stage did she experience peace, hoping to externally banish the demons living deep within her psyche. When Zach and Sara made eye connect across the stage she felt something electrifying across her spine and as she looked into his eyes she could tell what he was thinking and it wasn't the same thing as the other men. It was just a matter of when he would capture her. Zach was meeting three of his buddies for the evening at Club Sanity. They had invited him a year ago to join the kink club. He doesn't need to join a kink club because he could get it for free and that's why his brother's rib him about it. He'd felt a kindred spirit in the wayward people frequenting the happening joint. They were all a little fucked up. It was there that he meets his perfect candidate on stage. By day Sara is mild and meek but at night she transform into a seductive little kitten who garner all the men attention. Sara boss had asked her to fill in as a waitress after she had just finished dancing because he had just fire Gina and they were short staff.
She didn't want to do it but then she realized it would give her the chance for an up close encounter to her mystery man. As a waitress she changed her name to Wild Kitty and Zach knew immediately that she was the Wild One who he had already chosen. Zach was leaving the club because he was tired of Brant asking about the Obsidian Society which was only making him mad. He ran into his little Wild Kitty on his way out. But before he could say anything his old friend Mack Dannon from college called his name. He had recently moved to Chicago a couple months ago and was now a police officer of the Chicago PD. But as the two catch up about old times he saw his Wild Kitty getting harass by an inebriated customer and no one was coming to her aide. He went over and snatch up the man but he wasn't going easy. He knew the type of man that he was and he put up a fight. But when Tom, the manager came and told him to leave the fight went out of him but as looked into his eyes he knew that it wasn't the last time that he was going to see him and would be waiting for him. Mack came over after he had gotten rid of the guy and it was then that Sara knew his true identity after he called his name.
Sara couldn't believe that she had gain the attention of one of the most powerful man in the city if not the entire continent. If her hero was Zachariah Blackwell from the Blackwell Group, multi-billionaires who'd taken the game industry by storm, then the world as she knew it could be collapsung. It was his money, clout or power that troubled her it was the fact that technically he was her boss. But they were a clause in the company rules about not embarassing the company. Sara had been attracted to him from the first day she saw him. After Tom told Sara that he would be cutting her hours she thought about the Dark Nights and joining the hunt for the big pay raise and the chance to be in the Obsidian Society. Sara had been struggling with two jobs to support her and her brother while she dodge from her dark past which seemed to have found her when she was nearly killed by a car by a masked man who she thought was her mystery who had been stalking her but as it turns out he wasn't the one who tried to kill her. Sara couldn't afford for the company to find out that she had been moonlighting at Club Sanity as a dancer because she has high hopes of getting a seat at the table. She was working at taking care of her brother when no else had stepped up to the plate. They'd been lost souls nowhere to turn and not a single state agency lifting a finger to provide assistance. A game was about to begin and she would be the winner come hell or high water.
Zach decided to hang around until the closing after what happened between Wild Kitty and Jerry the drunk patron. Sara was being accosted outside by Jerry once again and Zach stepped in to help her yet again. Jerry had been threatening her, and when she tried to leave her car wouldn't start. And when Zach took a look under the hood he saw that it was tampered with and it wasn't the battery like she thought. She was a little fearful of him even though she knew his identity and when he offered to take her to a diner not too far from the club to get something to eat since her stomach was growling while they waited for a buddy of his to come look at the car. From that night the two went on a cat and mouse game filled with secrecy, shared trauma, sex and darkness.

I was looking forward to this book but struggled because I initially had trouble connecting
with the characters and the storyline. The story had promise but moved at a snail's pace
with little or no action. However, I enjoyed the cloak and dagger and the suspense scattered
throughout the book. The only connection initially between Zach and Sara was sex, super
hot sex, to be exact, but to be fair, that was all they were looking for at that point in their
relationship. I'm happy that I persisted as the story gained momentum and, with it, my
complete attention.

Zach and Sara faced challenges and had known hurt in their lives. They shared a penchant
for the dark side. Zach’s past had left him a dangerous man with no fear except when it
came to his wild kitty. Both had targets on their backs, and you get a glimpse of what level
Zach was prepared to go when the game turned deadly, and Sara was in danger. He was
an enigma. He is a complex man and the snippets you get from his past paint a picture of
an emotionally scarred man wrapped up in a dangerous package.

I loved Sara for her strength. Her determination and honest response to Zach’s dominance.
Sara had her secrets. Her life was not an easy one. Overloaded with debt, she planned to
get an invitation to the annual Obsidian Society Hunt run by the Blackwell Foundation.
Sara could never be called meek. I loved how she owned her sexuality, and behind her mask,
she was free to live out her fantasies, which predominantly featured Zach. Sara was being
targeted by her past, and only Zach could save her, but she went a long way in saving
herself.

After a slow start, I enjoyed this book. Zach’s emotional growth was a highlight for me.
I also feel that the relationship between Zach and Sara was real and not forced. Their
story was complex, but in the end, they healed one another.

When nefarious ne’er-do-well’s wreak havoc, no one’s safe! Hawt, tense and beautifully delicious, I tore through this one like it was my job! I LOVED Sara and Zach! The premise and plot is SO delightfully different than the normal dark romantic suspense! I literally hung on every beautifully written, magnificently narrated word! The dark premise so beautifully executed, detailed character backstories, heart pounding action, SO many feels and every emotion plus searing heat, sass, and the twisty “holy heck I didn’t expect that” … they’re ALL here, AND they’re all beautifully brought to life by professionally perfect, sultry smooth, emotional, narration! Zachariah Blackwell is the Seducer. When he saw Sara two weeks ago, he knew he had to have her. He plans to chase this “wild kitty.” Sara loves the energy she gets when she is dancing on stage. She can tempt men but they can’t touch. But there is one man that she would love to tempt. You have to love the fact that the Blackwell boys can do all the research in the world and miss one little things. With Sara Zac has found his wild kitty and even collars her. But it is the “play” and what evil that follows her that can cause blood to be shed. The story goes deep into their story. Yes, I did skim through some parts. I wanted to get to the “meat” of the story and find out what was really going on with Sara. Who was the stalker? Why? I tend to get antsy waiting. This story is as dark and twisted as the first. The Blackwell brothers are defiantly not choir boys. Granted they protect what’s theirs. Everyone learns never to cross them or be in their path. I wasn’t sure about the stalker but not too shocked as to who. Always seems the past has a way of making things difficult. The women are to light that saves them.

A captivating read, wonderful characters and a simply amazing storyline that held me thoroughly
Sarah and Zach have a number of dark secrets and it seems that they are drawn to each other they are in a situation where they begin to care for each other and the actual chemistry between them is real and the characters will hold your attention in full.
You will find the heat between them is hot and that the physical chemistry between them will hold your attention from the start to the end of this book. Piper is simply wonderful in the way that she describes the characters and the interactions between them, you will be totally blown away by this read.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.

Sara works two jobs just trying to keep her head above water and take care of her brother when she catches the eye of a gorgeous man while dancing. What she never expected was he the mystery man was none other than Zach her boss at her other job. The situation intensifies after he saves her from a customer.
Hold on for a wild ride that has intrigue, mystery, danger, suspense, vengeance, deception and kidnapping oh and of course there's steamy passion and undeniable chemistry galore.

His Wild Kitty!

Zach came from a horrible place and he still fights the demons but not has bad since Sara dance in his sight.Her life wasn't any better but she did the best she could for herself and her brother.Someone from her pass or some one his pass has threatened their lives and Zach is trying to figure out who they are.He gets a shock when he gets one of .This story was good,but I haven't found one that I didn't like and now I look forward to Wilder's story! Now will all the Blackwell men be taken down by Love,First came Xander and then Zach and now what will Wilder do!

I liked this romance in a thriller setting. Zachariah Blackwell is handsome, successful, and dangerously twisted from his upbringing as an abused orphan. Sara Capshaw is smart, hardworking, and reserved, raising her younger brother after their parent's deaths. She is hiding her own dark proclivities. Finding each other is what they both need, especially when it becomes obvious that there is someone out to harm one, or maybe both of them. There is plenty of steam and a HEA as they unravel the mysteries surrounding them.

To say the story is full of action and suspense would be a huge understatement. It’s also dark, dangerous and romantic. Zach and Sara each have their own secrets and demons they are dealing with but come together to support each other. I loved the story and how the author pulled me into what was happening as I read them. The story is well thought out and executed to perfection. This is a story that is definitely worth reading.

She gets pulled into the intrigue and finds out that her own life is in danger. This is a complicated and layered story. There are dark elements, some primal kink, secret society, and dangerous games with dangerous people. If you want something different that will keep you on the edge of your seat while challenging how morally gray you are willing to go, this might be for you. There is passion and hot and steamy spice, but it comes with the dark. If you are titillated by men who play by their own rules and take what they want, then this series might be for you. She is his wild kitty, and he wants to chase her, hunt her down and make her his. They both have secrets, and like to play in the dark.

This is the story of Zachariah/Seducer, another Blackwell brother whom he shares the love of the hunt along with his other two brothers. We read Xander/Sinner's story in Book 1, and I was addicted to that story as well as Zachariah's story from the first few pages. He quickly sets his sight on Sara Capshaw a.k.a. the Wild One when he first glimpses her at Club Sanity and the attraction seems to be reciprocated. This is such a wicked and addictive series and one you won't want to miss!.

Better than book 1

I liked this book even more than the first one in the series. That got off to a slow start. This book dove right in. Some things that were hidden before were revealed in this book.
I do wonder if there is a lot of AI assistance in the books or something. There are some extremely awkward sentences and facts that don’t match events in book one. If you read that, this won’t be a spoiler. This book refers to extortion and blackmail in book one, but that plot was about corporate espionage and an affair, not blackmail.

Sarah and Zach both have dark secrets in their past and are physically drawn to each other. Their story is full of passion, threats and intrigue and as it evolves so they come to care for one another, physically their chemistry is explosive but thanks to the stalker, the emotional part takes a little longer. This story is also full of action and excitement and the basis for the threats is a real twist in the end. A riveting read that is hard to put down.

Unhinged and delicious

The first couple of chapters are a bit confusing, and leave you wondering what you missed, but stick with it, after that, we’re taken back earlier in time to understand what unfolded and lead to that those first chapters.

And let me tell, it’s a dark and delicious ride, with a plot that keeps you guessing. Would I have liked more spice? You betchya. Was it still a cracking good read? Absolutely.

Zachariah is a powerful and seductive man who gets what he wants, and he wants Sara. This romance book by Piper is not only amazing but the characters interaction as well as chemistry keeps your mind wondering and trying to figure out what will happen next between them. It's a type of read with intense scenes that you can't put down no matter how hard you try.

Fate is a funny thing!
Zachariah and Sara meet at Sara’s second job where she dances in a club in disguise, but the sparks between the two are palpable from the start. While Zach is talking with an old friend who recently moved to the area, he sees Sara being hit on and comes to her rescue. When Sara leaves for the night, it’s another moment of mayhem when Zach steps in and brings her home with him. Sara discovers who Zach really is but still lets their one night happen as she wants to live on the edge for once, instead of working two jobs to make ends meet and try to pay down her brother’s medical bills. Though Zach wants a deep dive in to her live and steps up to help her out. Yet when their two pasts seem to momentarily collide, Zach gets all protective over Sara. And when the worse happens, he asks for his brothers’ help to save his woman!

Sara was searching for something elusive. She cared for her brother and kept her identity hid from everyone she encountered to avoid their past life. Someone is trying to kill her. He, is the enigmatic one, was the path to fulfill all her dreams and wishes. Zach has perchance for the dark. He built his virtual reality games into a prospering company from the ground up with his friends. He took his virtual games and created into a real game. Those in the Obsidian Club is rumored to be a real club that might hunt women for sport. All those that participated must consent to follow the rules and sign the NDAs. Both Sara and Zach have a yearning for the dark side of life. This book is a dark and hot romance with lots of triggers. Please check the triggers before reading.
