Breaking Point is a thrilling and captivating novel that follows the intertwined journeys of Jasmine, a freelance photographer and journalist, and Noah, an FBI analyst. Jasmine's search for a career-making story leads her into a dangerous situation she never anticipated, while Noah, now settled in the peaceful town of Mill Creek, is thrust into action when he receives a tip to save a kidnapped girl. As their paths collide, they find themselves caught in a web of mystery, deception, and hidden secrets.
Although reading the first two books in the Mill Creek Mystique Series most likely would have enhanced the understanding of Noah's relationships and the banter between his friends, Breaking Point can be enjoyed as a standalone novel. The story is filled with adventure, suspenseful moments, and a rollercoaster of emotions that will keep readers on the edge of their seats. The well-developed characters, including the residents of Mill Creek, add a sense of charm and homey atmosphere to the narrative.
The author's writing style and storytelling abilities shine throughout the book, offering a perfect blend of romance, danger, and mystery. Noah is FBI and now living in Mill Creek. He is putting down roots and slowing down. His new promotion allows him more freedoms and to be close to his friends. When a phone call from the man he never expected to speak to calls with a tip to save a girl, he doesn't think he just springs into action. Little does he know that this phone call has set his life up for changes I don't feel he is ready for. And so the mystery and danger begin.
I wish I would have read the first two books in the series, just because the backstory to his friends would have only increased the enjoyment of the banter between them, but this book can be read as a standalone. It was full of adventure, kidnapping, military operations, deception and hidden secrets. The book will keep readers on the edges of their seats and trying to figure out the who, what and how. It is a non-stop ride of emotions.
I really enjoyed the book and it's wonderful characters. I like the town of Mill Creek, it's citizens and charm. It has a real home vibe to it. I hope there will be more in this series, as I loved the writers style and story telling. A little bit of spice, love interest, danger and mystery all rolled into one great story.

A 5+ addition to this great series! Breaking Point delivered on all fronts: a fast-paced romantic suspense story that was a page-turner. I'm looking forward to the next release of this addicting series.

A thrilling story that has suspense intrigue romance and mystery all rolled into one story. From the first few pages, you are hooked on this story and want to continue to read it to find out what happens. A very good book with good characters. I received this book from Netgalley.com

I loved this book! This was a fast-paced read full of suspense and drama. I loved Noah and Jasmine's story. This romantic suspense series is really good and I hope there will be more.
