A great summary and introduction to Participation and the historical thinkers who championed it. Much like Davison's book, Hampton takes the approach of defining Participation by systematically covering how it has been used in relation to other topics in theology, such as Creation, God, Anthropology, Salvation, and others.
Unfortunately the book ends pretty abruptly and left me desiring more of a resolution.
Overall, this book was a clear and helpful guide to Divine Participation.
An excellent introduction to the doctrine of participation. Brief but dense like an extra long journal article. My only criticism is it ended rather abruptly.
