Ho deciso che smetterò di proclamare a gran voce e piglio da Catone il Censore: "Questo è l'ultimo libro sui gatti che leggo!".
Dunque, continuerò a comprare e leggere libri sui gatti, un po' vergognandomi, un po' no, sia per via di una lista infinita sul tema, elaborata con un'amica, sia perché l'amore è irrazionale e ci spinge a reiterare errori, passioni, uggie, brevi distanze e repentini riavvicinamenti.
Ed io amo i gatti, di pelo e di carta ❤️

Quizás no soy dios, de Stefania Gander, és una novel·la breu i intensa que, en només 120 pàgines, ens endinsa en una història carregada d’emocions, reflexions i ferides obertes. Un llibre àgil, directe i fàcil de llegir, que avança ràpid però no estalvia profunditat emocional, especialment quan s’acosta al final.
Me’l van regalar en un amic invisible, i he de dir que m’encanta la dedicatòria que m’hi va escriure la meva amiga —això ja li suma molts punts 💛.
Ja m’havien advertit que ploraria, i efectivament ha passat… Tot i que només amb el capítol final, que m’ha remogut més del que esperava.
Durant la lectura, però, he trobat errors d’estil i alguns paràgrafs repetits,fet que em fa desconnectar una mica perquè m’hi fixo força. Això m’ha tret fluïdesa en alguns moments.
Tot i així, el balanç és positiu: m’ha agradat, és una lectura ràpida però emotiva, i deixa petjada, sobretot al final. Un llibre imperfecte, però sincer.
A més, mentre el llegia tenia els meus dos mixets ben a prop ❤️🐈

Somewhat expensive, but enjoyable nonetheless. The title is somewhat misleading as it refers to something the 'male, two legs' says when the new kitty scratches him: "God!" The author does depict the adoption of a new kitten to the already two-cat household from the kitten's point of view, and she does it well. Cat people will enjoy the perspective and wholeheartedly agree with the viewpoint. I would give it a 4+ rating, but not all the way to 5 mostly because of the brevity.

A sweet and charming story from the mind of a cat. Beautifully written, with many fun surprises, cat lovers will eat this one up. Religious undertones are present but far from overwhelming. I enjoyed it!

Me ha parecido una historia preciosa, a ratos he reído, a ratos he llorado, ya que es algo agridulce.
Me siento bastante identificada con las aventuras de Pompón, la gatita protagonista de esta historia, ya que tengo la suerte de convivir con tres gatitas que hacen que mi día a día sea toda una aventura y mi vida con ellas una experiencia maravillosa.
La novela está narrada desde la visión de la gatita Pompón, desde que la adopta una familia y nos va narrando todas las experiencias que vive desde que la adopta esa familia de bípedos, como ella los llama.
Una historia que recomiendo leer, para entender mejor a los gatos, y con la cual los gatun@s se verán identificados.

This book was a short, quick read. and honestly, It took me about an hour from start to finish, and it was the kind of read that sneaks up on you in the best way.
The narrating cat had me smiling almost immediately. As someone who’s shared life with more than one cat, I couldn’t help but think about my own and all the little shenanigans they pulled over the years. The thoughts, the attitude, and the confidence all felt very familiar. I found myself thinking, Yep, that’s exactly what my cat would've said if they could talk. I have to imagine that if my cats really did have a voice, it would have sounded very much like the one guiding this story.
What made the book especially fun was experiencing life from a feline point of view. Seeing everyday moments reframed through a cat’s logic, and ego, was both amusing and relatable. It’s lighthearted, clever, and full of those small observations that make cat people nod along in agreement.
Overall, this was a quick, cute read that delivered humor and heart. If you love cats, or have ever wondered what they really think about us, this one is well worth the hour it takes to read.

Me ha parecido un libro totalmente flojo. Letra grande y mucho espacio en blanco, una historia muy corta, prácticamente podrían ser diez páginas estiradas.
A nivel de contenido, me ha resultado pobre y carente de emoción. No he encontrado profundidad ni nada que realmente conecte o deje huella. Es de esos libros que sientes que podría haber escrito cualquiera.
En mi caso, no me ha aportado nada y me ha dejado bastante indiferente.

He leído este libro con uno de mis gatos tumbado sobre mis piernas y ni siquiera así lo recomendaría. Quienes compartimos casa y vida con un gato, reconocemos muchas de las situaciones que se presentan en esta novela corta y puede que hasta se nos escape alguna sonrisa o lloremos fuerte un par de veces, pero no llega a calar. Quizás sea porque pasa de puntillas por demasiados escenarios y no logra profundizar en el vínculo que forjan los gatos entre sí y con el resto de la familia. Eso sí, se lee en un rato, entretiene y cumple lo que promete, que a veces es suficiente. Para calentar el corazoncito y celebrar la suerte de querer a un michi y que él corresponda, mejor ‘Te receto un gato’.

J’ai trouvé l’histoire légère, drôle et parfois même émouvante. Le concept est vraiment charmant et attachant.
Ça aurait pu être un très bon livre, mais l’écriture (ou probablement la traduction) laisse à désirer. Il manque parfois des mots et certaines phrases sont étrangement formulées, ce qui casse un peu le rythme de lecture. Dommage, parce que le reste était prometteur.

Ce moment de lecture m'a touché et fait rire j'ai revu Hubert et ulysse en oubliant pas mes petits enfants arielle et bibbs. C'est un baumes sur de beaux moments passés avec nos amours ...bravo à l'auteur et merci !

it's a bit short on substance, if you have cats there is nothing new to read, it's all a bit ho hum really. The sad ending seemed to come very quickly and a bit matter of fact, very disappointing overall.

Es un libro corto que se lee de una vez. Pero lo que no tiene perdón de dios es que de buenas a primeras cambie el tono humorístico y te meta tremendos hachazos. Qué manera de llorar. Hace año y medio que dormimos a mi gata y lo he revivido como si acabará de llegar del veterinario.
