I thoroughly enjoyed this unapologetically naughty, steamy read that explores taboo dynamics between Riley and his stepfather, Jed.
The series starts with an intense connection between the two, and it doesn't take long for Riley's bratty, defiant nature to shine through.
What I love about Riley is his refusal to take no for an answer, especially when Jed tells him that things are a bad idea. The tension between them is electric, and Riley’s boldness in his switch dominant side, which makes his "Daddy" melt is what really kicks this dynamic up a gear!
There’s something especially fun about how yoga becomes a cheeky tool for seduction, with Riley’s downward-facing dog proving irresistible to Jed. It’s playful and naughty in all the right ways.
By Book Two, things get even steamier. The new bed purchased isn’t exactly built for comfort — and that sets the tone for the escalating intensity of their relationship.
Next, thecamping trip - Wow. It’s a raw, primal play fantasy come to life, written with such heat that you can practically feel the sweat in the air. While imagining four grown men packed into one tiny, sweaty tent might sound comical, it actually adds to the wild, intense vibe of the dynamic. That’s the beauty of the scene-setting — it makes the steamy tension all the more palpable.
What stands out, though, is the healthy communication shared throughout.
By the end I had I couldn't believe I had read three such short books, there was so much packed in and I loved the characters and their relationship dymanics. I hope there's more added to this series!
